Hardest Boss Fights you've had?
Title says it all, the fights you struggled with the most, childhood memories or recent ones, whichever you prefer. Unlimited/Boss Mode Ragna (Abyss ver.)- Blazblue Centra Fiction So i got this game last year, and one of the first things i did was Grim of Abyss mode. This was a huge mistake, but i didnt wanna play story mode because i had a feeling i wouldnt get to play the characters i wanted to play (Hibiki, Platinum, Kokonoe, and Terumi) and i had trauma of fighting Nine in Cross Tag Battle so i didnt wanna touch arcade mode. I somehow fought through alllllll of the fights, and eventually made it to the final one, unlimited Ragna Let me spell it out. Constant healing + healing the amount done to me + amazing stats + powerful moves + extremely advanced AI means DEATH DEATH AND MORE DEATH The only way i won was by cheesing a loop with terumi, and the moment i somehow got that Astral made me scream with delight. this was on medium difficulty by the way Morpho Knight EX- Kirby Star Allies This used to be one of the easiest kirby games there was Then update 4.0 came out with a new mode and an EVEN HARDER BOSS RUSH When i had made it to morpho knight, i thought it would be the same easy fight i always had! I was wrong Oh i was so, so, so wrong. This fight is insane. Constant blocking, he moves around the screen at what seems like mach speed, projectiles are fired from every direction, he can even turn your friends against you! This fight is really challenging, and the worst part is its not even the final final final boss of the game!
Lets see the hardest boss I can remember.. Probably Solumus from Tales of Graces Solomus is the final boss of the Zonecage bonus dungeon, so you already know its going to be pretty screwy. Unlike most superbosses Solomus is human-sized, but he has super armor on all of his attacks so he can't be interrupted. Assuming you've level-grinded on the other levels of the Zonecage, he'll likely down one of your four character in one or two of his combos, depending on how durable they are. He also has access to the most powerful spell in the game, Indignation, that he can cast almost instantly. This spell simply causes a massive burst of lightning that's guaranteed to hit, and KO, whoever it targetted. It also has a large area of effect, so if you're not paying attention your AI companions are likely to run into it like an idiot, potentially resulting in an immediate party wipe. On top of all that he has a Mystic Art, a type of cinematic attack that'll simply eliminate whoever Solomus choose, and anyone standing too close to them. It doesn't come up much, but if say 3 of your 4 were downed by an Indignation he likes to follow up with his Mystic Art and take out the 4th for a game over. And that's in the first phase. Once his health is down about halfway, Solomus gains the ability to create 4 clones, each of which has the same moveset he does. They have way lower stats, so they don't do nearly as much damage as the real Solomus. However, they are fully capable of casting Indignation. Their version isn't likely to KO anyone. However, it serves to disguise when the real Solomus is casting, making it difficult to prepare for the real, fight-ending Indignation. These factors combined with his massive health total make Solomus the hardest boss I've faced in a Tales Game, at the very least.

While Nioh 1 and I have a love hate relationship and I can easily put Date Shigizane in here for being a bullshit boss with too much attack, range and speed in too small of an arena, I'll say something about Nioh 2, which is one of my favourite games of the year. Katsuie Shibata is a boss with high speed in an arena probably a bit too small. Unlike Date, he doesn't one shot in a single combo, so it's a fairer fight. Still hard. He uses fire, so enjoy burning to death, he can run from one end of the arena to the other in no time at all which can chain into a grab when in close range that is also fast and tends to reach across the room. He does a lot of damage which is off set by having a nice amount of opening to hit him from behind, which does more damage in Nioh than attacking from the front, especially if you can dodge his grab. Biggest problem is, because again, the room is a bit too small, is that if you aren't careful, the boss can sandwhich you into the wall which messes with the camera. I still died the most to him out of any boss in Nioh 2 (9 times) and he is the hardest boss in the game. Still very enjoyable though.
Hardest boss fight? I guess that one time I got fired from a restaurant for Minor sanatery problems. I still blame the god damned janitor. All he did was sit on his arse and listen to punk rock. He violated the employee dress code too many times to count but NOOOOOO. You can get a free pass because you were birthed by the bosses wife. That was my hardest boss fight. Please share your experience
I think the hardest bossfight I ever had to do . . . It's kind of hard to think about for some reason. But I think it's Junko from Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom, a touhou game. Either her or clownpiece.
Blazblue Calamity Trigger Hoo boy, I also have to say Unlimited Ragna, but the Calamity Trigger variant, who stands as the Score Attack final boss. Now, why this is so hard? Well not only does the AI get a kick out of standing above "Hell" difficulty, the highest one you can choose for the other modes, being this mode unique in that sense, but you are also facing the strongest rushdown character in the game, with the craziest unlimited of them all. Sure, they all get stronger and shit, but Ragna can recover his entire health bar with just a few hits while also hitting like a god damn truck, like seriously his damage output is crazy, not to mention his movement speed is way higher, AND THEN THE HP. The only way to actually win is to think quick, move around and not even try to guard unless necessary, because the HP steal happens anyways, instead, you need to be cheap, don't even try for most combos cuz when he gets up, he will probably abuse the fact you are recovering, and a single hit means you are getting combo'd to death, or losing a shit ton of health. I would honestly consider CT Unlimited Ragna the strongest he has ever been, because I fought him in different modes in CSE, CP and even CF, but man... nothing prepares you, it's busted. Dark Souls (Remastered) Ornstein and Smough, do I really have to say more? Many people say Manus or like Artorias, but Artorias had me figure out his patterns after like a few attempts and then that was it, just control my usual "RUSH THIS MOTHERFUCKER, GO WILD" style of playing when it comes to action, which actually helped then with Manus, cuz I was super aggressive and none of the moves it was using was making me stagger anyways, so I would just use my Black Knight Sword, armor and maybe the shield from time to time and chug Estus. No biggie, was my bitch. The way to Manus was harder than Manus. Anyways, the point is this duo was my bane, why? cause of the previosu reasons, I'm too aggressive for my own good, and since there are two bosses to consider at once, I really had to keep my guard up while landing hits and play it safe, which took me so many tries, oh so many tries cuz even after I had memorized the patterns, I was still making some risky plays and gettined nae nae'd. Eventually I won though, so I consider it hard because I finally met my match in-game, not even the final boss gave me as much issue, again another first try situation. But to be fair, I was already experienced with DS3 and Bloodborne previously, so that may have helped. Speaking of. Bloodborne Gehrman, my lord, Gerhman. Fuck the hidden boss right after, THIS is the true challenge. His speed, his attacks, his moveset, the music. Similar to Gwyn, you had to parry to make it happen, or hit hard enough for it to not be necessary. As expected, in my playthough I was using Ludwig's Holy Blade as my weapon and never really figured out parrying. With this in mind, I had to learn his moves and be able to predict what he would do based on where I was standing and what will follow after each start-up animation, which iirc was really quick, what always stuck with me was his pure speed. Anyways, fucker had me on my toes, had to keep dodging and trying to parry the easier attacks, learning as I went along and also making sure not to die too quicky and save up on health items, like "Can only heal if I reach X point". It's a real climactic fight, forcing you to use all you've learned so far, and even then I was forced to learn more to win. Hard as balls but so good. Dark Souls 3 Midir, fuck this guy, fuck this dragon. I was only able to win with my Guts Cosplay Build, pure STR goodness. An endurance fight which had me anxious as fuck the entire time through. Harder than Gael by a mile, but not as cool. There isn't much to add about him besides... massive damage, massive reach, a gigantic HP pool and pleeeeenty of one-kill hits. I was so happy when my "Dragonslayer" lived up to its name <3 <3
Oh one thing i forgot to mention about Abyss, there are time outs, but even if you have more health you always lose. So because i also had an auto-heal, we were just in this stalemate most of the time until time ran out and he won, even if i was one hit away from victory.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Editing - S That one squid boss when you're trying to get to underneath the water to where the Mermaid area. I know this is not suppose to be a tough boss but I somehow can't get pass it!
not going to lie but dr khals robot from cuphead on expert. it was one of the most hardest things i have ever done. i did complete it after a few hundred times but i didn't get a s ranking. was thinking about going back to it but just thinking about it makes me have flashbacks.

Kazuya taling about Manus and Artorius like Kalameet wasn't the hardest boss fight in that DLC. Tut tut tut.
I mean Kalameet isn't hard, he's just Bullshit. Kinda like Ancient Dragon in Dark Souls 2, you're just not actually supposed to fight him
Kalameet was more bullshit than actually hard, I agree, and even then it took me less tries than Artorias, and that's cuz I kept trying to hit the tail for a while
For me it has to be the Lingering Will from Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. This is boss is INSANELY hard (Honestly that's what you would expect from a secret boss). I still have not beaten him. I have been trying for 5 years. He has every possible kind of attack there is. he has moves that instant kill you up close. he has moves that snipe you from far away. He has moves that take away you magic, which can close the curtains for you if you use cure magic as your primary healing source like me. He has a move where he turns his keyblade into a CANNON. A CANNON!!!! All the while, he has over 12 life bars. And then of course during the battle Donald never heals you and goofy uses all his potions in the first 3 minutes of the battle. He was dubbed the hardest boss in Kingdom Hearts history. The first time I tried to fight him (I was very young) I seriously yelled at the screen and didn't play the game for 9 months. What irks me even more is that the weapon he is weak to, is obtained from the other secret boss Sephiroth which is arguably almost as hard! Thanks a lot Disney and Square Enix! Here's a recording of someone managing to beat him (note he's using the secret weapon): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMMp0rwPVmQ&feature=emb_title
I also had trouble with The reaper in P3 because I never got Helel, Satan, or Odin
