Shibuya: Kosei High School [2]
You know the drill, be it as a student of first, second or third year, a teacher or any other part of the staff, feel free to use it. This one is supposed to stay open until it eventually blocks itself. Hidden among the many skyscrapers, streets and parks, maybe even the convenience stores, there is a beautiful building of three floors and painted in white. The front yard is ample and surrounded by giant trees with benches underneath, as well as neat paths taking the rest of the park-like area around the main building, popular spots for students who want to relax in the school ground when the weather is on their side. From here, it is easy to reach the main entrance into the main building, where all the classrooms are placed. The first floor is about what one would expect from a traditional high school; leading to the backyard and having at least three different classrooms on each side of the building, all belonging to first years; the walls looking to the backyard all with windows that allow for a better view back. There’s also a single Store offering snacks, drinks and lunch for those who can afford it, and get there in time for it. Finally, the Nurse’s Office is in this floor, as well as the Principal’s Office. The second floor is more of the same, this time for second year students. Besides that, the Teacher’s Lounge is located here, right in front of the Student Council Room. Then, the third floor, belonging to those going through their third and final year of high school. The library is located in this floor, being quite massive for all those students that would rather read, study, or keep a low profile in silence. Finally, the rooftop. Not many go there, but those who would rather be alone with no one else looking. It’s popular with lovers and close friends. The backyard is quite spacious, similar to the front yard leading to two places: The Gym Building and the Practice Building. The first one is merely a gym, meanwhile the second one is centered around the activities and school clubs students themselves form. There are many different clubs in it, so much so anyone could probably make one up if they wanted to.
Soviet Kitagawa enters one of the second year classrooms and writes on the whiteboard "Futaba Sakura is a bitchass motherfucker". He then turns to face the rest of the class. "The instructor is 15 minutes late. Is our classroom now."
Fucidin stares at the board at bewilderment as he reads the whiteboard, transferring to a normal school after going to that bird school was making him day dream a little about his time there but he quickly snaps back into reality, speaking up from his seat in his desk Er, I'm sorry, who are you again? And whos this Sakura?
The school day had just begun, and so Nanaka Tokiwa, one of the older students known for starting her own flower-arrangement class after school, heads inside and immediately walks to her locker. Nanaka was a third year, and caught quite some attention, whether it be for her good looks, or her overall high test results, she always seemed like a student who was going places. Still, today was just an ordinary day. So the girl begins preparing for her next class as soon as she arrives, standing in the hallway alone while many of the other students chatted and relaxed.
Trotting into the school building came Emi Sumeragi, the famous history teacher who'd joined the school staff only just this year. Her appearance was quite striking for a school staff member, with long silver hair and a very faint scar over her left eye that, while hidden most of the time, was the fuel of dozens of rumors since her arrival on campus. On her way to the faculty office, she'd clumsily trip over herself, dropping dozens of papers and a bunch of books all over the floor. Despite her sharp gaze and somewhat intimidating appearance, Miss Sumeragi was far from scary, her ditsy tendencies getting the better of her quite often.

He was passing by when the teacher suddenly dropped all her things. First year student, Tadano Kubo could not possibly let this one pass. He quickly approached her and kneeled. "Sensei, you have to be more careful. People may get the wrong idea and start thinking you are not coolest of the teachers!" He reached out the nearest papers and started putting one over the other, making sure Emi was going to be alright. Luckily, Tadano was the first one to move and help, it was the perfect excuse to chat. "I still don't see how you could possibly drop it all, the floor is even."
"Oh you're a lifesaver, thank you so much!" She scrambled to pick up the many papers, most of them seeming to be graded homework, each with a big cartoonish stamp on the top right of the page. Once she was able to regain a semblance of composure, she offered a bright smile to the first year, her voice squeaky and jovial. "I'm hardly one of the coolest teachers anyways, but I appreciate your concern! Hey, I haven't seen your face around very much! Not that I see first years very often. What's your name?"
"Me? Tadano Kubo." He said while point at himself, standing up along with the teacher, Emi. Tadano would smile without a single care in the world while also offering the woman a thumbs up. "If you don't see me around much it's because I just joined. Last High School I was in was Shujin, but they were all too wild and noisy! Totally not my style!" He points at himself again for emphasis before dropping both arms and pressing his hands against his waist. He stayed like that while looking up, remembering a single thing inside his head. He remembers, snapping his fingers the name comebacks to him. "Ah! Right! You just implied you know more about the older students! Do you know of any...Nana...Nanaka, by any chance?"
"Oh, you transferred? I guess that'd do it. Well, it's nice to meet you, Kubo-kun! You know truth be told, I was going to apply to work at Shujin, but this place called first! A bit of a coincidence huh? She giggled briefly before tilting her head at the mention of another student, tapping her chin and pacing around in thought. "Nanaka... Third year? The one who does all the flower stuff? I only know of her tangentially, she's not in any of my classes. I'm only really familiar with my second years. After all, I haven't been here much longer than you have. What do you need to see her for?"
"Whatever rumor you heard about Shujin, it's actually right! Not sure about the... Thieves' Heart one or whatever that one was all about..." In truth, he only had vague memories of whatever had happened a few years back with that entire supposed gang that was all the rage in Tokyo. It was funny to him how something so massive just went away like nothing. "Sensei, I don't believe in coincidences. If anything, it was probably fate, or that's what I like to think." He crossed his arms while keeping a sly grin on his face, almost like he had just said the coolest thing he had thought all week. "Yes, from the third year! I heard from my class about Flower Girl! I'm just curious to meet her, that's all, honest!" Tadano kept his left arm pressed against his chest while lifting his right one with his index finger pointed up. "All I know is...! She's cute, she likes flowers, she gets near top scores and isn't even from the student council! What guy wouldn't want to meet someone like her? Err... I mean, to say hi from time to time...!" He rubbed the back of his head, fully focusing on the teacher rather than moving from one place to another.
She couldn't help but laugh at that sly grin, waving her hand dismissively. "Fate? I wonder what fate would have in store for us if this was its master plan all along." With a mischievous smile she leaned forward, speaking rather quietly to make sure only Tadano could hear her. "That's all? You know, it's a little odd to have a crush on a girl you haven't even met." She let out a hearty cackle before stepping forward through the halls, beckoning Tadano to follow her. "Well she's a third year, so with luck she's going to be in the halls by their classrooms. Come on, let's go together! Classes don't start for a little while, now's as good a time as any!"
Tadano was taken aback at first, blushing just slightly before mimicking her own hand motion. "I'm thinking class, Sumeragi-sensei! No offense but you are... how do I put it...?" He wanted to say "Old", his eyes were honest like that. He shrugged, she didn't need to hear something as rude as that. "Forget it!" Now, he didn't know if he could call it a crush, because he hadn't really met her or even seen her, but he was curious all the same. Without much to add for the moment, he follows the teacher up to the third floor. "Sensei, for a teacher you are awfully nice! Could've fooled me with that scar and the hair."
The two would find Nanaka finishing up at her locker, putting the last of her books in her bag as she begins to head out. She waves politely to a few of the other students before noticing one of the school's newest professors coming down the halls. The girl quickly, yet fluidly stands at attention before bowing to her professor "Good morning Sumeragi-sensei. I trust you've been able to make it alright." Nanaka's smile is bright and carefree. The girl stands up straight once more, brushing aside a few stray hairs that may have fallen in her face as she takes notice of the new student. "Are you taking this young student on a tour? I'd be happy to show him around if you're busy."
"That just goes to show that appearances are almost always surface level, Kubo-kun! Hell, even the principal was surprised, he told me I look like a Yakuza. Oop! I don't think I was supposed to say that!" She lets out another chuckle before Nanaka approached her, offering her a friendly and an informal wave. "Alright might be a bit generous, but I had this young man with me! In fact, I was looking for you. This is Kubo-kun, he said he wanted to meet you!"
"Yakuza? What are you even-" [Tadano would stop dead on his tracks when the cute girl appeared in front of him. He wasn't scared at all, merely surprised. It wasn't like he was paying much attention to where it was he was going, at all. This was Nanaka Tokiwa. Before speaking, he would take a deep breath.] "I'm a first-year student, my name is Tadano Kubo, it's a pleasure to meet you!" He points at himself with his right thumb while holding a side grin before bowing. He would stand straight right after, maintaining his carefree smile. He wanted to tell the teacher she was being too direct about things, but it couldn’t be helped. "I recently transferred here, and I wanted to say... hey! I couldn't stop myself. Most of my classmates would name drop you from time to time and say a lot of things, so I got curious!"
"A student looking for me? That's... Rare." Nanaka's smile drops a bit when she finds out this first-year boy was looking for her. She'd dealt with a few interested guys before and it wasn't an experience she was particularly interested in repeating. Still, it was always best to give them the benefit of the doubt. "The pleasure is mine Kubo-kun. My name is Nanaka Tokiwa, but I suppose you already knew that." Nanaka's smile returns to its regular gentle demeanor. The girl lets out a light chuckle, covering her mouth briefly before she responds "I'm glad to hear them speaking well of me. Am I quite what you imagined?" Nanaka asks curiously as she brushes a few strands of hair away.
"I'm surprised it's rare. Even the teachers talk about you a lot. But that might because of your grades." She nod-nods, opening her arms out in a boisterous manner. "I'm happy to meet you myself! It's not every day that I get to socialize with any students outside of my class. Let alone with my own students!" She clapped her hands together, looking more like a giddy schoolgirl than a teacher.
Tadano would focus his yes on Nanaka, both on her face and then on the rest of her. Personally, he imagined something more... regular. Cold stare, long, black hair, pale as the moon and an equally icy attitude. Instead, he was in front of who was more like a flower in human form. "Not exactly, but I'm not complaining. That flower-arrangement class... it fits you a lot! I may consider joining it, but I still need to look through all the other clubs there are to pick." The first-year would shrug. "Sensei, do you know where I could get a list with that? I don't ever have anything to do after class and everyone seems to be in a club already!" He was up for trying out anything, even learning about flowers. Most of all, he wanted to meet people around the school.
"You flatter me sensei. I assure you I'm nothing that special. At least not compared to some of your work." Fake modesty of course, but there was something to be said for keeping up appearances. Nanaka tilts her head downwards in a show of humility as she looks back over to Tadano "Typically whenever a student looks for me they have some ulterior motive." Nanaka brings her head up once more. Though she didn't say it directly, it was clear she thought the same of him. Maybe it was in her nature to be cautious, that or she'd seen it many times before. Whatever her concerns, they don't stop Nanaka from smiling "I'd be glad to accept another student into one of my classes, but I ought to warn you." Nanaka's gentle and calm demeanor swiftly changes to an icy glare "I have little patience for those who don't take my art seriously." it was only a moment, and as sonn as its over her regular cheerful grin is back as if nothing had ever happened "So be sure to look over your options carefully. You might find something of greater interest."
Seeing Nanaka's icy glare practically caused her to shiver in place. Muttering a soft "Scaaary" under her breath. "Perhaps that's the source of your admirable work! You seem incredibly passionate about your flowers. Such passion can only lead to commendable masterpieces, right?" As she spoke, she raised her right hand, her other resting on her chest and striking a dramatic pose, even speaking in singsong to further dramatize her words. "As for a list of clubs, I'm sure there's a brochure by the student council office or something. I'm sure I've seen them before! But Nanaka's right! You should choose your club carefully. If you pick something you're not passionate about, it'll be nothing short of miserable!" Contrary to most of the rumors, Miss Sumeragi proved to be quite emotive, quite the far cry from the grizzled 'war veteran' or the brutal 'former detective' all the students had been starting rumors about.
Tadano was not at all scared by the girl's sudden change. Instead, he was closer to pleasantly surprised, because it didn't seem like she was the fragile, gentle girl type. With a slight blush on his cheeks after being looked at with such an intense gaze, he only had one thing to say. "Noted!" [He lowkey pouts as he kept his voice down for the moment before returning to his ample smile and joyful tone.] "The Student Council office...? Wasn't that in front of the Teacher's... alright, I know where to go to now! But, even then... is there anything you two would recommend? Besides flowers, I mean. I would rather have an idea now before class starts!"
Nanaka looks back at her teacher with a smile as she takes a deep breath, readying herself for an unusually passionate explanation "The kashinryu style of flower arrangement is an art that's been passed down through my family for generations. You can consider it a culmination of everything the Tokiwas have studied for hundreds of years. To claim it as my own talent would be rather presumptuous. I consider it an extension of my familiy's honor, rather than my own." with her piece said, Nanaka adjusts her glasses before looking back over to Tadano "If you don't think you're ready for the responsibility associated with that heritage, then perhaps you'd like to try the recently established 'occult club'. My understanding is that they spend their time chasing after urban legends. Not very productive but perhaps you'd find it interesting?"
"Kashinryu! So regal! But I'm amazed to see you bearing such a heavy responsibility with such enthusiasm! That's the kind of stuff all the big colleges are looking for, you know." At the mention of the occult club, she seemingly jumped in place, her already strong enthusiasm seeming to skyrocket. "Ah yes, the occult club! It's easy to assume that a club based around such seemingly childish things would be filled with freeloaders who aren't serious about it at all, but I assure you there's a lot of lovely students who are very passionate about the subjects involved! Besides, you're all such hard-working students who are on the cusp of being released into the busy world of adults. A little distraction from it all in the form of chasing the supernatural can be a wonderful way to spend your time!" After her dramatic speech, she looks at her wrist watch and shrugs. "Yes the faculty office is right by the student council room, so if you were planning on heading there you'll have to bear with this sorry woman's presence for just a tad longer. Oh the humanity!! I'm supposed to be going to the faculty office now but who doesn't love being a little fashionably late, hm?"
"Tokiwa-san, you speak of that style like it was Kendo... but I get it! I don't think I can fully understand how important it must be for you! So, if I join, I'll keep that in mind." Tadano winks at Nanaka before resting his hands on both sides of his hip, quietly listening to what Emi had to say. He would look down and shake his head with disappointment having them both talk about the same club. "Boy oh boy, Occult huh? Not to be rude but that one sounds a bit lame, what do you even do there? I can't imagine it being different from something like a... videogame club or anime club. I probably... just don't get it, not my thing at all." Finally, Tadano would let his arms drop, reaching into his pocket and taking out a candy. Strawberry flavored. "I'm more of a practical kind of guy. Unless I get to actually do something, I don't really enjoy myself!" He would then unwrap it and eat it. After that, he would reach into his pocket again and bring out two similar looking candies, one orange flavored and the other apple "Ah, do you guys want any? I always carry sweets with me."
Nanaka's enthusiasm drops a little, she had been hoping the teacher would take her side on the occult matter, but it wasn't her place to question them anyways. Fortunately it seemed the new kid wasn't going off on it. The student thinks for a bit before ocming up with a few more "If you wish to develop actually practical skills, we do have the usual baking club. Or the debate club to meet new people... Perhaps you're better off just checking the list." Nanaka takes note of the younger boy's offer of candy, and politely shakes her head "I'm afraid I must respectfully decline. Eating excessive sweets would be a bad habit to develope, and one's not supposed to have them during class anyways. Too much of a distraction." Nanaka looks back up to the clock with a sigh before waving farewell "It was a pleasure meeting the two of you, but our first classes are going to begin soon and I'm always on time. You two have further to go so you may wish to depart as well."
"I assure you it is not just a video game and anime club! But... admittedly, a baking or debate club would have more practical skills for your everyday life. Assuming you have interest in either of those two things." Her face was almost pouty, but her expression very quickly shifted back to her usual cheeriness. At the offer of candy, she stares at it, the sweets clearly tantalizing her. "Ah... I would but I can't. Even if it's small, I'm not supposed to accept any sort of gifts from students. Oh! The time! We'd best head to the student council room if you want to get that list before classes begin. Come on, come on!" She beckons Tadano to follow her towards the student council room, jogging lightly in place as she did. "Good luck with your class Tokiwa-chan!"
"A debate club? Now that sounds nice, very nice! See you later, Tokiwa-san!" He didn't have much else to say besides goodbye. It's true, time was running out and he wanted to get this over with. Then again... maybe the teacher was scarier than she showed to be, watching an adult be so happy was a sight to behold. That said, he would put back the candy inside his pocket, following the teacher. "Say, do you know anyone that's from the student council? I heard that one of the members was from first year but I'm not so sure. Actually, I don't think I've heard anything about them!"
"Well, not in detail, I've spoken to a few of them once or twice, but given we're not too far into the year I haven't had the opportunity to meet a lot of people. For all I know the student council is just a nameless bunch of background silhouettes." She paused for a moment, staring into seemingly nothing as she contemplated her existential reality before shrugging it off and continuing to the office. "Have you ever thought about joining the student council? You certainly carry yourself with enough charisma to do so!"
"Eh...? Something wrong...?" The first-year student would ask the teacher as he notices she starts acting weird. Then though, he thinks of what she said. It is strange he hadn't seen most people, and he has talk to a lot of them but couldn't remember their names. Tadano thinks this is just because he just met everyone. It has to be, right? "What!? I just got here, I could never be involved with any of that! Besides, I don't know a single member but... I could consider it." He says, now near the area they first met at. As expected, the Student Council room would be right in front of the Teacher's Lounge. Right by the door, there's brochure after brochure. The eyes of the kid would light up as he quickens his pace to grab it. "There are too many clubs and extra classes here... I'll need some time to consider this all... by the way, Sensei. Are you in charge of any of these clubs?"
"W-Well if you must know... I signed off to be the teacher who supervises the occult club! I've always had a bit of an interest in such things. Kind of weird for someone who's supposed to be teaching historical facts to be involved with things that have no grounding in reality huh?" With a chuckle, she rubbed the back of her neck, her face a little red with embarrassment. "But don't let that influence your decision! It's best to pick a club that suits your interests the best, whatever that may be."
Tadano couldn't help himself at the teacher's confession, not wanting to laugh, but doing it anyways. "Ah! That's why you were so excited about it before! I thought that was weird!" He calms down, holding his stomach even though he wasn't laughing too hard, he was just being loud about it. "No... No offense, Sumeragi-sensei! I'll have to meet any of the members of either that club or the student council. Then I'll make a choice!"
"No offense taken! But you have the right idea. Any students who would be part of an occult club are sure to be quite the oddballs. I'm sure you'll be able to tell immediately when you meet them!" She grabs her own copy of the list of clubs, raising a brow and taking considerable interest. "Whoah woodworking? I wish I had a club like that at my high school... To think schools have changed so much in a decade. Kind of amazing when you think about it."
One of the last students to leave the council room before class is a girl in uniform with long, black hair. They've finished putting the last few papers together, and are about to leave when they overhear the sound of laughter. Sen lets out a sigh and steps out, to find Tadano and one of the new teachers. Sen smiles and waves at the teacher "Good morning Sumeragi-sensei. I hope you're adjusting well." After greeting her teacher, Sen lets out a sigh and looks back at Tadano, much less amused. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sen Megumiba, daughter of Seshiro Megumiba and the first-year's class representative for the student council. Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Woodworking doesn't sound too useful, unless I decided to move to the countryside or something like that, buuuuut I'm not for that life! The nightlife of the city calls-" He would look over, interrupting himself the moment Sen leaves the council room and directs her gaze to the teacher. He would keep both eyes widen open without blinking, noticing her black hair, and then the outright cold shoulder she was giving him. It made his cheeks go red for a second there. "I uuh..." "Did she just say first year!? Okay, let's get showy." He would smile and point at himself with his right thumb. "Name's Tadano Kubo, a first-year transfer student straight outta Shujin! Nice to meet you! He bows at Sen. "I was looking over the clubs to join and... I was looking for something practical, like debate or even sports! But Sumeragi-sensei here was telling me about this... occult club she supervises." He laughs quietly, pressing his hands against his hip, dropping his head and shaking his head. "Still don't know what's up with that, it's a weird idea. Whoever came up with that one has to be a weirdo... and woodworking too for that matter! The only thing that could beat that is… something like a roleplay club!"
"Shujin's a pretty prestigious school. Surprised you'd transfer out. Just as high school's beginning too." Sen casually remarks. She'd considered going to Shujin herself but with her own issues coming up the studying and applications hadn't felt like the best use of time. "Unfortunately I happen to know that weirdo." Sen speaks with a sigh, solemnly shaking her head as she maintains a monotonous tone "I recommended forming it to a third year who was obsessed with supernatural stuff. Thought it would help him make friends." Sen looks at the sheet for a few more moments before checking back with Tadano "Anyways, if you're looking for something more practical I am a member of the debate club. Public speaking skills are always useful, and argumentation is particularly important if you're hoping to be a lawyer."
"Shujin's student were... a bit too loud and were too into doing whatever they wanted. Serious, you could hear them being scolded by teachers frequently!" He laughs loudly like he did before. "What matters is that you helped this person out, as weird as they may be. At the very least, they have Sumeragi-sensei to keep an eye on them! Still... a third year...? I somehow expected more, kind of like with Tokiwa-san..." He speaks the last part in a hushed tone. "That said...! If you are part of the debate club then I would love to become a part of it! I like talking with people and reaching out. I won't be a lawyer, but I hope to one day be able to help many others my way! So... I suppose that's being... a politician...? I prefer thinking I will be a hero!"
"A roleplay club? What, like a game club? Playing Snakes and Ladders or whatever?" She turned to Sen, muttering another "Scaaaary" under her breath. 'All the girls in this school could kill me with their gaze!' she thought. "The debate club here is renowned for their ferocity. Kosei is a school of many talents, but the debate club is like a talent among talents! Or so I've heard at least! Almost every teacher seems to tell me that about their respective clubs, I just kind of believe all of them. At the mention of heroics, she tilted her head. "A hero? I wouldn't take you for the sort, Kubo-kun. Do you want to be a police officer someday? A detective? I can see it now! The grizzled detective Kubo, off to solve the mysterious case of a coup forming against the prime minister!!"

OOC: imma use it soon but don't feel like making it again
OOC: I, too, will be using it soon.
[It had been a while since that meeting with Elian and everyone else, and since then not much happened beyond class. Not much...besides reading. He remembered seeing a lot of old books back the library back when he met Gad, so with him on his mind a lot nowadays, he had to go back and have a look. It was an experience, what he read about.] "Maybe I should bring it up for them soon. This is way too good." [The last class had just finished and all the students were free to go at any time; all that was left was the club activities. Kazuo would remain with his back pressed against a tree in the backyard of the school. He sighs, looking up to the sky, now thinking about Kokoro, seriously wondering if he was going to get killed soon.] "If it's her... maybe... I should go for all that sooner than later. That woman was out of it, who knows what'll..."
Fushi's stomach rumbles and he places a hand over it with a lax expression. Peering at a nearby tree he can see that someone is sitting there alone. He approaches the person only to quietly ask. Do you have any food?
A young woman would wander through the hallways absently, heading towards the back of the school with a slightly bored look on her face before walking out and seeing Kazuo. Upon spoting the young man she simply shrugs and decides to head up to his tree with a wave of her wrists, catching some of his words and raising an eyebrow curiously. How exactly she heard from across the yard is something she herself questions, but her senses are rather sharp now. As for the kid asking for food, Hikari would absently pull out an apple and hand it over to him. "There ya go, and mind if I talk to this nerd alone for a moment? We're... Friends." She isn't sure that's the right word for it, but whatever. She'd lean in a bit closer to Kazuo and speak somewhat quietly. "So, who's this lady you're wondering about man? Anything I need to concern myself, or are you just trying to score a date or something cuz that ain't my problem." Her voice is a bit teasing while looking to him curiously, clearly wondering if Kazuo needs help under the mocking tone and gleam in her eyes.
Fushi slowly takes the apple adjusting to the cool sensation of its skin. He then attempts to eat the apple but finds it annoyingly tough against his teeth. He mouths the apple a few more times like an animal before leaving it alone in his palms. Sure. He answers to the new person yet he does not leave the premises. Instead blankly staring at the two people in front of him.
"Ah." [Kazuo would look down with his mouth slightly open and wide eyes. He was not expecting such a sudden question.] "N... No, I don't think so, I don't have any food...? Who are you anyways?" [Kazuo would catch Hikari approach and give the new person an apple, which then they try to eat until... they fail at it. Kazuo keeps staring at them, still unsure of what to say.] "...who are you...?" [At that point Hikari's proximity would make him jump for a second, his nervousness made worse by the girl's teasing.] "Eh!? Ah! No no, it's nothing of the sort, I just had an... argument a while ago with someone from uh, college." [He rubs the back of his head, blushing and as he looks elsewhere.] "I-I'm not really dating anyone right now, so…"
Apollo would jump out of seemingly nowhere, clutching Kazuo's right shoulder with his left hand casually, speaking up immediately after he says his last line as if finishing the sentence for him. "So he's available." He then snickers for a brief moment before releasing his grip and taking a look at Hikari. "Hikari, was it? Nice to see you again. Especially since i'm not dead."
Fushi. He quietly answers as he takes in the energy of all the people now in his vicnity. The noise was a bother to his ears. Yet the reactions of the others was pleasant and he tries to mimick the blush reaction he just witnessed. As a hint of red creeps up his pale skin her mumurs. This is strange. The blush immediately recedes and he returns to the apple in front of him. Copying the mouth movements of the others he manages to poke into the skin of the apple enough to taste a hint of juice. Good food. He happily states.
[By all means, he was available, but it wasn't like he wanted to go and openly say it. It was embarrassing.] "Hey Apollo, thought you would just go back home after class." [He once again turns to face Fushi. And once again, he was a bit weirded out by it.] "Y-Yeah, good to know, nice to meet you Fushi, I'm Kazuo Takahara. Are you a uh... student here too? I don't think I've seen you around." [Not that this meant much, he hadn't seen too many people roaming around anyways.]
Fushi looks up to the sky for a moment and then looks through Kazuo. I am new. He motions to his seal skin coat as well as his boots and other unsuitable clothing for the school enviroment. Are you a uh ... student here too? He repeats what Kazuo previously asked with the same tone and words.
Peaking her head around the corner at the sound of conversation behind the school, Miss Sumeragi decided to investigate, expecting to find a group of delinquents loitering behind the school. Instead, she finds Kazua and some other student she didn't recognize. "Takahara-kun? What're you doing out here? And who's this? A friend of yours?"
Apollo tilts his head up slightly, closing his eyes and smiling. "Yeah, I figured I'd just hang out for awhile today." He then glares at Fushi, seemingly off put by their presence "What a strange person. I'm going to assume they're some sort of dog transformed into a human for the time being."
"Ah! Sumeragi-sensei!" [He waves at the teacher, which got him thinking about something he hadn't really considered with all the stuff happening to him recently. The fact that 1, he made a club and 2, he found something that may or may not prove to be complicated.] "Right, I don't think I told you Apollo, but Sumeragi-sensei here is the teacher in charge of the club. Nobody was really open so... got lucky with her on that." [He would look a the book to his side before deciding to stand up and stretch his body.] "So whatever happens and goes wrong, she's answering for us."
"Ah, I see." Apollo nods, giving the teacher a look of admiration and respect. "Sumeragi-sensei, I am Apollo Sonnenschein, the human. Let me ask you something, how much do you know about this occult stuff?"
Fushi frowns with displeasure. I'm a human like you. He raises his hands and wiggles his fingers to prove his point. By doing this he accidentally drops the apple he had in his palms and it rolls away. My food!? Fushi utters buts doesn't give chase to it. His curiosity at the conversation in front of him outweighs the need to recover his food.
Sumeragi offers an enthusiastic waggle of her fingers in greeting towards Apollo and gives a wide grin. "Apollo huh? Like the god? Quite the extravagant name!" At the mention of the occult, she tilted her head, her bright amber eyes settling on the young man. "Me? Well admittedly not a whole lot. It's a passive interest really. I just decided to take up club supervision because it sounded more fun than any of the other options. Speaking of which, is that relevant to why you three are here in the back of the school making so much noise?"
The young, silver-haired man seems rather annoyed at Fushi's response. "Yes, I see you're a human at this current moment. You can just as well be a shapeshifting creature like Doopliss." Apollo then sighs at the teacher, answering bluntly. "Huh? No, I had no idea who that was when I chose the name." He then shakes his head at her next question, responding in a dismisive tone. "If it had anything to do with that, I would be much more discrete. Rather, I just came to see what Kaz was up to."
"F-Fushi, what's your class? Not that I doubt your words but..." [He interrupts himself at the guy's weird behavior.] "...Why can't we have normal students? The most normal person I know is Sen and even she's ridiculously serious." [Kazuo thinks this out loud as he watches Fushi act around with a blank expression on his face. This only changes after Apollo implies he himself is also not entirely "normal". He didn't exactly want to weird out their own supervisor too soon and as such, he laughs loudly and puts an arm around Apollo's neck.] "Hahaha man! C'mon, you have to be more honest about yourself. Sumeragi-sensei, Apollo's family is from Greece and he was born there, though he has a younger sister that was born here! It's only natural his name would stand out as much like this, you know?" [He momentarily glares at his friend.] "You couldn't have picked your name, that's not the right phrase, you must've meant "My parents named me Apollo". Don't feel bad though, your japanese is really good." [He goes back to laughing before addressing the teacher's question.] "Well- I was just resting here; this place is so much like an actual park that I just couldn't help it. Besides, most students have to go through here to get to the practice building. Since classes are over already, most are moving to their club activities."
Hikari would shrug at Kazuo's response, smiling a little while sniping at him slightly. "Damn, I woulda thought you and that Sen girl or something... Ah well, as long as it isn't anything you need my help with I guess that's fine then." There's a cheery wink as she backs away and turns to the other elephant in the room, what a strange story. It obviously isn't true given what she senses in Apollo but oh well. The Solar isn't here to call out every silly lie she hears, just to bash skulls mostly. "Meh, not everyone gets a name from their parents, I mean I never met mine honestly, but yeah that would be the correct phrase I guess Apollo. And hey what do ya mean Kaz, I'm totally normal. Just your average harmless school girl~" That's such a fucking lie, she almost sounds like she believes it though with an innocent-seeming smile on her face. No need to freak out the supervisor just yet. "And yea, didn't come out for any crazy occult study today. Unless there's something none of us know about out here anyway I doubt we'll find any even if we looked."
"Yes, that's... quite right." Apollo, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the crowd, takes a step away and stares off in the direction of the gym building. "Hmm..." He then closes his eyes momentarily as his head drifts off to the side, holding his right fist up to his chin as he taps the fingers on his left hand against his thigh.
At the odd exchange between Apollo and Kazuo she couldn't help but chuckle. "You know, I know you're not lying when you say you're just hanging out here to kill some time, but you all are so suspicious even when you're idle! But who am I kidding? You're high schoolers! I doubt there's much you'd have to hide." Despite the naivety of her statement, it was clear she just didn't want to press the conversation rather than being oblivious to it. Her tone changes abruptly when she suddenly shifts behind Hikari, waggling her fingers in a comical attempt to be menacing, resembling a cartoon villain more than anything scary. "But what you don't know is that this place is haunted by a spirit who's been gathering power for a thousand years! Ready to snatch the souls of foolish and naive children who dare disturb its eternal slumber!" With another enthusiastic giggle, she steps toward the Kazuo tree and leans against it, almost mimicking him. "Apollo-kun, are you okay? You seem like you're in your own little world over there. Oh, I know! How about I buy us some drinks, hm? A soda or two to lift the mood up!"
(edited by Emi_Sumeragi)
"Oh uh... actually, Sensei." [Kazuo would take a deep breath and would turn again to the book he had on him. It was really old and worn down, like it almost wasn't supposed to be in their library, but it was anyways. He would open it and quickly move through the many pages it had.] "You joke, but there might be some truth to that statement... according to this book, this area was notorious in decades past because of supernatural events. This book just collects a bunch of stories from across many years, between the 60's and 90's, all memories of people long gone... Bust most regarding the neighboring area of the school have mentions of spirits or tragedy happening." [He stops at one very short story and points his finger at it.] "Like this one from '73 during the school festival of that year. It says here a young boy was bullied by a group of his classmates horribly, to such extent he hanged himself from a tree. Later on, the very same tree, which was very young and sturdy, fell on them at the same time, taking their lives. It must have been impossible for that to happen, at yet it did." [He closes the book and tries to mimic the teacher's previous expression, by making a silly face and waggling his fingers.] "Those who were present said that first, they heard a very loud crack, like that of a neck breaking, and then they saw the tree fall on the abusers!"
"Oh?" Apollo turns back to Emi, confused by her demeanor. "Yeah, i'm alright. I'm concerned about said spirit, at present. I should like to deal with it immediately, however if it were as simple as that it wouldn't go untouched for a whole millennium." He merely shakes his head and sighs, relaxing a little. "So be it, I have no choice but to push that aside for now. Either way, i'm afraid i'll have to pass on the drinks. My sister's birthday is coming up soon and i'd like to get preparations out of the way sooner rather than later, so I was thinking i'd stop by the shopping building. Besides, I don't drink soda."
Sumeragi's hair practically raised up like a startled cat at Kazuo's story, hopping away from the tree and looking at it as if she were staring at a serial murderer. "T-That was a joke, I wasn't prepared for it to be real!! That's messed up!! M-Maybe we should calm the spirit before the tree swallows Takahara-kun before our very eyes!!" She quickly regains her composure before turning to Apollo and tilting her head. "Oh yeah? That sounds pretty important! Does your sister have a cool name too? I can see it now, a whole family named after the glorious pantheon of olde! Elegant! Distinguished! Proud!" With a hand to her heart and her other arm raised dramatically she spoke in a deep, sing-song voice, as if performing a spontaneous opera.
[Kazuo keeps a sly smile on his face, making it hard to make out if he was actually telling the truth or if he was adding to the story.] "How much of this stuff is real or not is for us to figure out. There always many legends and rumors running around stuff happening, but people are always on the fence or would rather think the supernatural isn't happening. That's why the Occult Club is perfect." [He returns the book inside his bag.] "I decided to go ahead with it with the purpose of figuring out how much truth there is to these stories." [His ears perk up at the mention of Asami's birthday coming soon. He didn't even know about it, but it was nice to know now. He's never heard of a divine being celebrating a birthday, but then again, those live so much they probably don't care for the most part.] "Ah, his sister's name is Asami. Guess their parents wanted her to have an easier time living here." [He shakes his head with a smile before continuing] "Actually Sensei, do you have any plans for tonight? I was wondering if you could help me with something when you're free. I don't think anyone else will do."
Apollo smiles upon seeing Sumeragi-san's excited reaction, adding to Kazuo's comments after the fact. "Well, there is actually a more personal meaning to the name. I'll have to tell you the story about that sometime." He then puts his hands in his pockets taking a relaxed stance. "Speaking of which, did your parents have any special reason for picking your own name, Kazuo-chan?"
Hikari would burst out laughing for a moment, a spirit huh... She'd look over the tree as a small golden glow forms in her eyes, revealing to the young woman the presence of such immaterial beings if any were indeed there. "Wild Kazuo, now you went and made me all curious... Hmm, wonder if these eyes of mine can spot anything out of place..." There's a wild look on her face at the thought of something actually appearing before her, but chances are that it's just a silly rumor and nothing of note will be seen even with the magic coursing through her eyes right now. "If there were some crazy spirit out here though, I guess I'd consider it something to deal with. Can't just leave a thing like that for any random people to get attacked by, right?"
"Asami? That's a very cute name! Though a bit surprising! I'm sure it's easier for her to fit in but there's beauty in having an unusual name! Maybe I care just a little too much." She perked up when Kazuo spoke, tilting her head even further than it had been tilted before. "Free? Well, an educator is never truly free, but I always have time to dedicate to helping a student! What do you need?" She donned her 'teacher' persona, leaning forward with a giddy grin and a jovial clap of her hands, much like she would commonly be seen doing in class.
"My name...?" [For a moment, it almost seemed like Apollo had struck something inside the young man, like triggering a sudden wave of nostalgia.] "M-My name is made out of two kanji, "和" and "雄". The first one means... harmony, or peace, even calm, while the second one means male, or man. According to... my mom, the reason I was given that name was in the hopes that I would have a peaceful life, also having found my own kind of peace as I walk along..." [He blushes after saying all this, trying to look away for a moment. That is, up until the moment Hikari and Emi speak. He clears his throat in order to recover his composure.] "Sensei, in order to check how much truth there is to this rumor, I wanted to ask for your permission to let me stay here until everyone else is gone. The best moment to make an investigation is when everyone else is gone!" [He looks at his phone for a moment before continuing.] "…See, we could ask a member of the student council but... I-I don't think I'm ready to face her right now. That said, I want you to watch over and stay here tonight with me! If Apollo and Hikari choose to stay, then... watch over us all!" [He holds both her hands with his own, pleading so she allows them to do this.]
Fushi still does not have any idea whom any of the people around him are. But he was given food. Therefore he already set his mind to following the one guy he gave his name to. I follow.
The girl would shrug slightly at Kazuo's idea, sure she can do that. Not like she had any better ideas. "Fine with me Kazuo, I'm not doing anything tonight. Cept maybe looking for... Someone, tch. That guy was a real pain but I won't bore you with the details or anything." She'd clench her fists while making that remark and lean back against the tree casually, eyes still gleaming and peering behind the veil of mundane reality a bit. "Anyway, that isn't exactly going anywhere fast right now so I can hang around. Not as if I live with anyone else, so no big deal for me."
"I guess I can stay here after hours. After all, I'm supposed to supervise any club activities. How do we know if it's a dud though? Ghosts don't usually do anything until night, right? We'd have to wait here for a really long time!" She checked her wristwatch with a puffed cheek, tapping her foot against the floor. "I know! I'll order some food and we can have something to eat here. That way we're not starving by the time the ghost shows up!" She pulled out her phone and started scrolling rapidly before she started staring off into space. "Wait... what're we gonna do if there's actually a ghost? Put it in a soup canister and call it a day? Bah! Whatever. Any preferences? If not I'm just gonna grab some beef bowls. I'll have to know who's staying to order though. I'm hearing three so far?" She points to Kazuo, Fushi, and Hikari before looking at Apollo.

You know, all things considered, Lowe probably shouldn't have been here. His own school was a far cry from this place, evidenced by the pretty lackluster uniform he wore. Still, being a dropout, partially by choice and partially by circumstance, he found himself with a wealth of free time. Wandering around a pretty swanky-looking highschool certainly wasn't the worst way to spend his time. He could've been getting into fights, which wasn't exactly an uncommon thing for him. "Damn. Not a bad setup." The young man whistled as he looked around the place. His ears perked up as he heard people conversing, particularly at the word "ghost". Ghosts were scary, nobody would really deny that. Plus, he'd seen weirder things than ghosts, who was he to just brush them off as a hoax? "...?" Compared to most people, he wasn't a very sneaky kid. In fact, clumsy probably described him better than anything. Still, he did his best to creep a little closer to those conversing. His interest had been piqued, against his better judgement.
"Ah, well, if you're all doing it then I suppose I can help too." He then looks off, thinking for a second. "They use salt on Supernatural so maybe we should bring some too." He then starts walking away for a few seconds before looking back to the group. "I'm gonna go home and let Asami know what i'm up to, then come back here. See ya!" With that, turns back around again and starts walking til he's out of sight.
[He waves at Apollo before turning to their teacher.] "I don't really mind what we get, uhm... thank you very much." [He bows at the teacher before looking up at the sky, noticing it was already full of orange. It wouldn't be long before the sun goes away and is replaced by the moon.] "If the ghost is real then... well, we either deal with it with what we have or run. People have been dealing with demons and spirits in all kinds of ways since the beginning of time, I'm sure we'll be okay!"
Fushi mimicks the earlier pointing done to him. I stay. Any food good. He only knows that he didn't like the apple yet doesn't have a name for it. That doesn't bother him at all. As the people talk to each other he tries to memorize some words and gestures but soon gets distracted by the switch from day to night. The sky is really pretty to him.
Hikari would wave to Apollo with a smile, and then turn back to the teacher while grinning a bit. "Eh... I think I can handle it if I gotta, maybe. I've been doing some practice that might help..." What kind of practice one does to learn how to hit things which aren't physical she frankly won't be explaining. But the girl seems sure of herself nevertheless while absently calling out to Lowe, who she can frankly spot without really trying much. "I can see you're over there man, it isn't hard. And I'm told I have good senses. You new around here, or have I just not met ya before somehow? Oh and I'll take whatever too sensei, I'm not exactly picky about food. Couldn't ever afford to be even if I wanted." She speaks out in an absent distracted tone clearly pondering something else.
Taking notice of Lowe's approach, she turned around and pointed at him. "Do I hear a fifth beef bowl? Hey wait... I don't recognize that uniform. Is this a friend of yours, Takahara-kun? I'll be happy to get some food for him too!" She quickly taps her phone, not even checking who she's dialing before answering the phone and muttering 'Six of the usual' into the phone. With that, she hops in place, clapping her hands together once again. "It'll probably be here in about thirty minutes! Can't fight ghosts on an empty stomach! And besides, even if we don't have the right tools, I'm sure I can figure something out. She winked quickly before finding a spot on the grass to sit on, patting the ground beside her. "Come, come! Let's gather around while we wait! Pass the time!"
"Eh? Who?" [He finally takes notice of Lowe, a man that was too hard to ignore. Kazuo keeps a blank stare as he tries to put things in order. "I met him at GYM when I first got here, the 1st number, I got it from him..." he thinks, remembering their connection.] "I know him, his name is Lowe. But I can't say we are friends, just that we've met in the past." [He tries to smile anyways and waves at him.] "Yo, what are you doing here? Don't know if you remember but I'm Kazuo!" [He says before going to sit beside their teacher, waiting for what was soon to come.]
Apollo returns about an hour later, carrying an industrial size bag of salt around his right arm. He also carried an iron candelabra in his left hand. "Aight, i'm back." He then pulls out a gameboy advance and starts playing Tetris on it, casually talking while focusing on the game. "So, anything happen while I was gone?"
Lowe felt his heart sink a bit. He never thought of himself of the sneaky type, but that was just sad. Hell, they even ordered food for him. He sighed, stepping forward. "Uhh, yeah, hey there Kazuo. I remember your face, at least." He bowed slightly to the strangers, scratching his cheek in embarrassment. "Yeah uh... the name's Lowe, good to meet you guys. Sure you can tell, but I'm not really from around here. Sorry to butt in like this. I overheard something about... ghosts? Guess you could say it piqued my interest, or something."
Seeing Lowe approach the group, she offered a wide and welcoming grin while patting the empty grass beside her. "Come sit with us! I've got a couple beef bowls waiting up front, you can stay here while I go get them!" The teacher hopped up in place and started sprinting towards the front of the school, and within what was easily half a minute she'd come back with a huge tray of beef bowls, the poor woman blinded by what was effectively a food-based fog machine of steam. "Uhh... K-Kids? A little help? I'm not sure I can carry all this blind!"
"Okay, on it!" [Kazuo would rush towards the teacher and would take half of what she brought, quickly moving it to towards the rest of the group, immediately sitting on the same spot on the grass as before. He would realize Apollo was back and Lowe was joining them.] "Well, I most of us here are part of a club I made. It's the Occult Club, and we investigate anything that may or may not be supernatural. Recently I found a book on old stories and... I have reasons to believe the school has some spirit roaming around it! So, we are going to here stay till night so we check how much truth there is to that." [He looks up at the sky; sunset already in full effect.] "Actually, we are missing two members right about now, Malloryn and Gad." [He would grab one of the bowls and then would wait for everyone else to grab their own. Only then would he eat.]
Fushi happily grabs a beef bowl and tilts it from side to side. He also sniffs at it. Testing its contents. Satisfied with the beef bowl he begins to wolf it down not minding the heat of it. With a slight full mouth he looks at the teacher and mumbles. Tfanks You.
Apollo takes a look at Lowe, sizing him up. "Well, Lowe, nice to meet you too. Word of advice, this kind of stuff isn't something normal humans should jump into haphazzardly, so if you do join us I at least suggest you keep it on the... downlowe!" He then gies the newcomer a wide grin, smirking as he crosses his arms with pride before looking at Kazuo. "Well, Kaz, with any luck your telepathic attraction of anyone you meet will cause one of them to coincidentally be in the area. Let's hope we just don't mistake them for the ghost." He then grabs one of the beef bowls before sitting on some grass near the wall.
The young woman is already devouring her food at a fairly rapid pace, she's never been one to waste a chance to eat whatever food she's given. As for Apollo's pun she just sighs and gives Lowe a look that clearly says "my god, I deal with this often." "Pff, nice meeting you Lowe. And eh, don't worry too much. You can probably take care of yourself yeah? Most of who end up here can after all, me for sure among that number..." It's pretty weird how all the Occult members besides maybe Mal seem to have some powers of their own. But she won't complain about it, makes things fairly simple for them if nothing else. "Anyway, if there really is a ghost that'll be cool. I wanna see if my training has paid off after all!"
"Hey, we don't need to go around beating spirits up like it was nothing! It's a basic principle of respect towards all that lives in some way! Even demons can be gentle, and angels could be sadistic. Spirits may be vengeful, but some may just be playful!" [He says, trying to calm Hikari down or try to break her expectations. He is almost pouting as he speaks with a comically annoyed expression.] "We are Ghost Watchers, not Demon Busters, nor Ghost Busters!" ["Unless we have to be", he thinks, finally digging in on his food after clapping his hands together, grateful.] "Apollo, I take offense to that. The fact that I kept meeting up with Sen was all at random. Besides her, I don't really run into anyone else." [But weird people, that is. The sky now gains a bit of a dark blue tone, the orange turning more into red, at certain times it all looks pink. If the city wasn't so vibrant in lights as it gets dark, they may even be able to tell there are a few stars right above. It was almost time. Most students and staff members were probably gone by now.] "Fushi, Lowe... what's up with you guys? We don't really know each other so... this could be a chance to build trust. After all, a really awful demon could appear out of nowhere." [He smiles at them, though he adds the last bit of what he said as a way to mess around. Still, even if he's messing around, it wouldn't be out of place for any of them.]
"But, Kazuo..." Apollo places his beef bowl and the other stuff he brought with him to the side, standing up and grinning at Kazuo. "...If we don't shoot the thing, then how can we do the shoot dance?" Apollo then cocks his head to the side in a cheerful manner
Having thoroughly emptied her beef bowl to the point where not even a single speck of meat remained, she rested the dish on the tray and sighed with satisfaction. Picking up on the conversation, she pointed at Kazuo and nod-nodded at the group. "Takahara-kun is right. Every ghost was a living creature just like you and I at one point, and usually a person! I doubt most of them want to hurt anyone, they probably just get antsy because they get disturbed. Wouldn't you?" She looked at her wrist watch, letting a loud yawn loose into her hand. "Geez... it's so late! Truth be told I'm more worried about getting mugged on the way home than being pounced on by a ghost. Ah... that makes me think. How do you all plan to get home safely anyways? I can't let a bunch of minors loose in the middle of the night in good conscience!"
Hikari would shrug slightly at that, sure. They were people once and all but meh... "Eh, I like fighting people too so it ain't that different for me. Still if someone isn't a problem I'm not about to beat them senseless or anything, so I suppose you've got a point." Even if them not being a problem would be intensely disappointing from her viewpoint. But these things happen sometimes, not everything in life needs to be solved by smacking it around till it stops moving. As for getting home, eh. "And I can't speak for anyone else Sensei, but I just plan to... Walk. If anyone wants to try and mug me for the very little I have they can try, it isn't a smart idea for most people but they can try." There's a casual ease in her voice while finishing off the meal, as though that's a fact she speaks from experience rather than merely posturing. Which is of course, the case.
Fushi finishes food and wipes his face with his heavy sleeves. He then curiously peeks his head up when he hears his name. I'm from away. Was told this is place of learning. Fushi blankly looks at everyone. He didn't know if he was learning yet from these people. They were nice though. They also gave him food twice so now he had to stay. You are all different animals.
"I... didn't say spirits were "living" like us previous to their appearance..." [He mutters in between him eating his food quickly, having been a while since he had something this good. Once he finishes, he looks up to the sky, now it fully dark with no light on the school other than the light of the moon and the one from the street.] "I can give my mother a call. She works until really late at Shinjuku with her bar and all. I could go there and then we drive back to Kichijouji. That is, if the subway closes before we are finished, but it shouldn't take long." [He places his bowl to the side while thinking.] "When I leave for school, she's usually asleep, and when I'm back I spend most of my day alone. Sometimes I catch her on her way out." [He shrugs, not that he minds. It gives him plenty of freedom to do as he pleases. That said, he would stand up and look around. It wasn't so dark all things considered but just the light of a phone may be enough to move around without stumbling too much.] "I think it's time we get to it." [Kazuo would check back the book he had and look closely.] "According to the story, the kid who committed suicide was a first-year student, meanwhile the bullies were from the second year. The spirits of those who died in terrible accidents or with some strong, negative emotion find themselves unable to pass on, and when they remain, they frequent the places they were most connected to. It's safe to assume that... since it all happened in this area, there must be some activity in some of the classrooms." [He rubs the back of his head and then clears his throat. He would look all around; the school building was behind them, meanwhile the practice building was on the opposite end of the area, looking almost like an actual park with how many trees it had and how ample it really was] "T-That said, we should split up to check the first and second floor quickly. I'll take care of the first floor. Hikari, you go to the second floor. Fushi, Lowe, Apollo, Sensei, you guys choose who to go with!" [Kazuo would turn around and pull out his phone, choosing the camera and deciding to record everything he sees with its own night vision.] "Try not to break things! We don't need to get in trouble!"
Apollo gives Sumeragi-san a curious look. "In that case, you shouldn't worry. I'm not a minor." He then finishes his food, paying close attention to Kazuo. "Ah, so whoever we go with we'll be alone, in the school... at night... potential danger..." Apollo goes on, his speech gradually becoming incomprehensible mumbling. Making a sudden movement, he goes to Hikari's side, crossing his arms and smirking. "Hey, Hikari, why don't we go together?" He then takes a few steps towards the building, nodding his head slightly towards her.
"Eh? Well, I guess I'll just stick with you, Takahara, but I'll have to visit the teacher's lounge before I do! Though, I should probably visit my classroom before I go anywhere else. I have something to grab there!" She starts trotting towards the building, twirling a small band with the key to the teacher's lounge on it. "We should probably stick into groups of three just to even it out. And if you break anything I'm not taking the hit for you!"

Thank you!
Fushi curiously cocks his head and stares at everyone. He doesn't really get what is going on. But the hand that helped fed him is leaving so he walks over to Kazuo. Fushi hugs Kazuo's right arm and makes it clear with how firm he is grasping that he is determined to stick with Kazuo. I follow. Fushi determinedly looks at Kazuo.
[The inside of the school remains eerily silent and dark, with nothing but moonlight illuminating the interior through the windows to the open area they were just in. Nothing much to do, and nothing else to see.] [First floor, being empty of students and staff, would have nothing of interest beyond the four sets of classrooms, the Nurse's Office and the Principal's Office. In the distance, a melody is playing, somewhere within this floor.] [Second floor; Apollo (Possibly alongside Hikari) and Emi should have an easy time making their way to the second floor. It wasn't much different from the first floor in that it was dark and as silent as a graveyard. Wherever they chose to go to, nothing should get in the way. They can feel like there's subtle current of wind running through.]
[Kazuo would look at Fushi grabbing on to him and would blush for the sudden action; because he isn’t used to people getting up close to him; because he didn’t even know this person well enough; because he actually got a bit scared; and because for all he knew, this could be an actual spirit. Despite this, he would look to his right, not particularly sure from where the sound was coming from.] “I wonder if there’s a party somewhere nearby… I guess there’s nothing else to do but to keep moving, eh?” [He would nod at Fushi and move towards his right side; the West Wing of the school, where classrooms 1-A, 1-B and the Principal’s Office was. Their left, the East Wing, would have the remaining 1-C and 1-D classrooms, as well as a small, empty snacks stand and the Nurse’s Office. Right in front is the lockers and entrance, now closed.]
A faint cry comes from a locker “Anyone? Please help I got shoved in here and they locked it on me. If anyone can let me out that would be nice. I do not have my phone on me, the guys that shoved me in here took it with them”
Having now visited the teacher's lounge, Sumeragi carried a quite conspicuous yet mysterious case over her shoulder. The bag looked much like a shinai bag, but despite the resemblance was almost twice as big as any bag of that sort should ever be, the design decorated with flowers and even a small rabbit charm at the top. "Well, if you were curious, the lounge has nothing. It's a ghost town in there, but not the kind we're looking for." Hearing the faint crying from the locker, she jumped in place, letting out a frightened squeak unbecoming of a woman her age. She cleared her throat and adjusted her long red scarf, trying way to hard to look professional despite her blunder. "Ahem! I do believe I heard something suspicious coming from the lockers. Do we care to check it out?"
You hear the same voice talk again “Please do let me out! I’ve been stuck in here since the morning. And I can guess you are a teacher because you are here and it’s late, my parents have to be worried sick. I think there might be a key in one of the teacher only rooms” The voice starts to cry
"Heh." Apollo grins mischieviously upon perceiving the presence in the locker, walking up to it and cracking his knuckles. "This seems like the perfect opportunity to senselessly destroy property. Stand back, kid, I will aid you in the most efficient way possible." Wasting no time, Apollo drives his fist straight through the center of the locker door, creating a hole which he then grabs onto and pulls the door off its hinges. "Hehe I am hilarious. Now give me your prayer before I make a vague threat, nerd."
Horrified he says T-Thank you so much. My n-name is Yuto Akari an- Yuto passes out from fear

{On the first floor, a girl opens the doors that lead to the entrance of the school, holding a hair clip in her hands. Closing the door behind her, she uses her phone as a flashlight as she adjusts her hair clip.} "I can't believe I forgot something at school today...Ah well, if I meet any faculty maybe I can just say I'm early for tomorrow." {The girl clutches her purse as she holds out her makeshift flashlight in front of her, trying to backtrack to exactly what room she left her item in while also yelling at the nothing that awaits ahead.} "Oh random stack of cash, where art thou? I hope you weren't abducted by an unfortunate soul!"
Hikari would glare at Apollo's actions, quickly placing herself between him and the boy who'd been in the locker. There's a slight golden aura forming around the young woman as a baseball bat covered in runes and pulsing with energy appears in her hands. "What the fuck was that!? You can't just go around doing that shit to random people who've done nothing to deserve it! Are you insane, or merely utterly immoral!?" Her eyes still gleam too, staring into the world beyond normal sight in case there are actually any ghosts or spirits or such wandering about. She does want to be able to view those after all, but for now shock and outrage are the Solar's chief emotions.
Yuto wakes up and starts shaking “W-What happened j-just now?” He see’s a young woman glowing with a baseball bat with marks on it “Am I hallucinating?, not agai- He falls unconscious again
Fushi nods at Kazuo's suggestion and strains his ears to try to pick up the sources of the melody. It doesn't work. His body is too limited for it so without much though Fushi allows himself to shift into a diffierent form. To any spectator it would seem like Fushi's body suddenly broke apart into white smoke and then reformed into a knee-height, white wolf. To fushi it would be like blinking and afterward being able to smell and hear more. He would then try to pinpoint the melody again using his better hearing.
Apollo sighs, looking at Hikari's eyes with confusion. "I'm a male high schooler. Doing stupid shit is my nature." He then faces Sumeragi, placing his hands in his pockets. "Back me up here, sensei. Don't you know what it was like to be young?" He then notices Yuto fainting out of the corner of his eye, gradually fading out the student's presence in his mind. "Oh, yeah, I guess we kinda went past normal human behavior. Maybe we should get that Gad guy to get him to forget all that? Or maybe I could try reverse engineering my mind reading powers?" He would pause for a few seconds before noticing the weapon in Hikari's hands. "Are we in a fight? What were you intending to do with that? Here, let me get you a better weapon." The god uses his powers to materialize a steel longsword, plunging it into the ground between himself and the solar. Instead of making any immediate action, he merely looks at the blade for a moment before snorting humorously.
Yuto wakes up again and spots the god like stuff going on in front of him pushing himself against the back of the locker he was stuffed in he says “W-Who are you guys? Why do you have all these weapons and shit? Did y-you pick the door lock? Or did a teacher let you in? Or are you superhumans? You remind me of that anime, what was it called again, never mind. Again, Who are you?” Yuto seems to be in shock
[First floor, the entrance's lockers; with all the people in this area; Mal, Yuto, Apollo, Hikari, Emi, the whole atmosphere had suddenly turned heavy. This isn't because they were all currently acting like the kids they are, but also because the light from the outside was becoming dim. Although the streetlights were still functioning, it seemed like the light was being eaten away; the sound of their voices was being mimicked too in the distance in mockery. It was easy to hear, but hard to pinpoint its origin.] "wHo ArE YoU?" "LeT mE gEt YoU 2-A bEtTeR wEaPoN" "tHe LiBrArOunGe hAs NoThInG. iT's A gHoSt ToWn" [The voices would go on and on. At the same time this is happening, Fushi hears the singing and is able to know exactly from where it is that it's coming from; the Principal's Office. If they were to go there, then they would have no issues beyond the singing getting louder, but also with a slight distortion, like a faulty turntable.]
[Kazuo's jaw drops as he watches Fushi change.] "I knew it! You aren't normal! Why do I attract this kind of people to me all the time!?" [In this small moment of his mind melting, Kazuo ruffles the hair on his head, desperate for an answer to appear in his mind. However, nothing comes. In the end...] "Weird attracts weird. I don't care, let's go." [For now, he would only follow Fushi to wherever it is he goes.]
At Apollo's comment she shrugged, looking away for a moment as she pondered her own youth. "I dunno, I grew up in pretty different circumstances to kids today. But I guess I did stupid stuff, so sure! I'd say that's pretty normal!" Seeing both her students seemingly armed to the teeth, she couldn't help but stare with wide, quite confused eyes, rubbing the back of her neck. "D-Do you always all have this much weaponry? I realize we're probably gonna fight a ghost and all but I figured we would have a bit more salt and a bit less medieval weaponry..." Hearing the sound of her voice being mocked she slowly turned around, her teeth chattering in fear. "S-Shit! Was that it?! Please tell me that's not it and we can just go home without a worry!!"
“I don’t know what to do now? Should I stay with you guys?, not like if I even told anyone they would believe me” Yuto starts to softly cry “No one ever does, no one cares about me, I don’t deserve to be here”
{Malloryn almost skips through the dark hallways, not bothering to look back as the lighting of the atmosphere starts to flicker. Maybe the budget of the school isn’t holding up? All the more reason to retrieve the 50,000 yen she lost.} “Wow, so there are unfortunate souls nearby! Many, in fact. I guess this would be appropriate in Japan’s culture? My older brother did say I’d fit in...maybe I should start going to Kosei more.” {She continues walking, keeping her phone close to her as her only light source. Wearing dark clothing and having black hair might help with stealth purposes, but that’s a stretch since ghastly beings probably don’t care about that type of stuff. The girl just shrugs to herself, hoping that whatever’s near her is stupid enough to stay away.} “Hmm, this must mean that there is faculty nearby. Well, I’m heading to the Principal’s Office. Hopefully they can lead me to the lost and found station. Wherever it is. And whoever the principal is...”
“But that doesn’t matter, W-“ Yuto hears the mocking voices and freezes “Did I forget to take my medication or were there voices?, I cannot pinpoint it but it seems to be coming from a small room with 2 bookshelves behind a closed door seemingly on the 1st floor, odds are the principals office, according to the echo of course” He looks to be confident in his answer
(edited by Yuto_Akari)
Fushi lets out a low whine and his new tail wags as Kazuo has his mini meltdown. He only begins to move again once Kazuo recovers and issues a command. He perks his ears to guide him down the rest of the hall. He then stops in front of the principal's office where the sound is loudest. However, he lacks the use of thumbs so he begins to claw at the door. Gazing at Kazuo with pleading eyes.
“Do you guys want to check it out? Even if you aren’t I will” Yuto heads to the principals offices and spots the wolf “Let me guess secretly a god or whatever, you gotta be quieter you will alert them to our presence hell, I could hear you from the lockers. I have a way to sneak in.” He takes a vent duct apart and slides through “I’ve been doing something like this whenever I get shoved in a locker but they found out and put me in a different smaller one” He dislocates his arms to fit
Hikari sighs and... Casually slams her bat through the sword, divine power emits from it for a moment. Not in a visible way, but Apollo would get the sense he's staring down a powerful artifact nevertheless as the sword smashes to bits from sheer impact. "Man... I don't wanna fight you, just leave that guy alone if we see him again okay? As for the weapon... Eh I'm pretty comfy with my bat. It works nice, stands up to a lot more than you'd think. Does a lot more damage too. But lets save that for something actually dangerous instead of each other okay?" The boy has run off in the time she took to say all that. Which suits Hikari just fine. As for the voice, she'd focus in more. Trying to figure out where the hell it is as a golden gleam begins shining from her openly. "And don't worry sensei, I'll protect you if anything happens. And I guess Apollo might, maybe. Hard to tell with him." Either way, she begins trying to find that damn laughing. With any luck it won't be too hard while calling upon obviously inhumanly awareness of the area.
Apollo pays no mind to the student as they flee, instead listening to Hikari. "I mean, I figured you'd say that. I only threw the sword at the ground to reference a video game." He then cocks his head back slightly, listening to the strange voices. "Come to think of it, my little ace probably doesn't need a solid target to work. Guess if it comes down to it, i'll have to use it again." He then tilts his head forward, pausing for a few seconds. "Let's get on with it. Mere Cognitum." Making use of his powers, Apollo makes visible a shining trail starting from his current position and tracing the distance to the nearest sound wave originating from the entity which echoed throughout the school, much like a bat's echolocation. "Whatever it was we heard, this will show us the shortest path available."
= Hikari - Apollo - Emi =
[Despite Apollo's and Hikari's best attempts, the only thing they can actually figure out is that the sound is coming from the school itself, all around, from every single nook and cranny. The voice and/or voices however are also very aware of what they were trying to do, and stop imitating them, Instead, the voices laugh harder at the attempts.] "Woohoo~! You all are dummies, dumb dummies HEE HEE HEE!!" [This time around, it's more of a loud, annoying giggle rather than just laughter.] "I toooooold you all where to goooo! You are not playing attention to the gameeeee!" [At this time, all the lockers would open up violently and then close just as hard. This would keep happening as it matches the incessant laughs.] "Two A~!! My summer house is where all the dead people left their things, kids hate it there, but they never say a word!! Come check out these two places~!!" [The slamming of lockers would stop and the voice would fade away just as suddenly as it came.]
= Yuto - Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn =
[Although Yuto attempts to get into the Principal's Office through a vent duct, it actually does not lead into it in any way a human can possibly fit through without dying while trying. In short, it's useless unless someone could turn into a worm. While this is happening, the music stops, and the group can hear someone, or something walk closer towards the door. Once right behind it, at the other side, it speaks with a monotone voice, distorted and hoarse.] "Who goes there? Students... at this time?" [The voice awaits; the turntable is playing no more music, the cartridge has been lifted, but the white noise remains.]
“Shit, they got us. You guys hide the teachers are used to me being shoved in a locker” Yuto goes into an unlocked locker “Hey Mister can you please help me? I got shoved in a locker again and they put me in a new one”
Apollo lets out a long, exasperated sigh as he slouches forward. "Oh, fuck this! Why do we always have to pay attention to shit? This is why I hate dead people." He then stands upright again, marching forwards through the halls before stopping and musing for a brief moment. "Two A would be the classroom, right? I guess whatever it is we're looking for wants us to go there. As for where the dead people left their things, i'm guessing that's something to do with ancient history based on the way it's described. Which reminds me, I never bothered to memorize the layout of this school. Oh well."
{Malloryn thinks nothing about the situation at hand, merely going up to the door and knocking on it as any polite and well mannered person would. She doesn't want to open it though, that'd seem pretty rude for the principal who is presumably on the other side.} "Uhm, good...day? To you sir or madam. Apologies for not attending school much, but do you happen to know where my money went?" {The girl smiles, acting dainty as she tries to explain her little situation. Of course, with any other person, they'd at least do something smart. But that isn't concerning to this person who just wants to find their lost item. As she speaks, she tries to eccentuate her accent as best as she can, yet forgets to do so when she starts to comment on the silence around them, smiling to a door in the end.} "I left a sum of currency here at school one time and I'd love to get it back~ Oh, and also, nice taste in music. Blank noise is very soothing."
[Kazuo would turn to look at both Yuto and Mal arrive, and his expression would be hard to make out. However, it was fairly obvious he was confused.] "...Who...? There are no lockers nearby, where are you trying to hide right now? Why would you use that tactic?" [Kazuo felt like he was out of the loop. Then, he had to talk to Mal. However, he disagreed with himself. He would rather just stare blankly at them and then... pet Fushi, as a wolf, and try to get him to follow him. Instead of looking for one of those lockers all western schools have, he sits near the stairs leading to the second floor.] "...Come here boy, I think this is a lot to take in right now. Here." [He claps his hands and then taps on his legs.] "Why would he be looking for lockers? Only shoes fit in those things...?"
OOC: I’m sorry I forgot where we were in basis to everywhere else I’m just not smart

OOC: Aye just poking fun at stuff, we cool lmao
She'd jump again as the spirit spoke once more, her gaze darting all over the place, hoping she could at least pin-point where the voice was coming from, but seeing as the sound was coming from seemingly everywhere, she could do little more than cover her ears and wait for the ruckus to pass. "I-Is it gone now? I thought we were dealing with some kid's ghost, not a poltergeist! Is this the routine around here?!" She picked up on the spirit mentioning "two-A" and started moving to the respective classroom, slinging her large bag over her shoulder. "Can you two explain to me why you're both glowing, by the way? Not only is it creeping me out a bit but now I'm also feeling a bit left out!"
Yuto is mumbling I think I know what is going on. If my deductions are correct than- His words are just mumbles now
Apollo follows Emi, curiosity dawning on him as his mouth opened for a second before responding. "Ah, so you really are just a regular human? In that case, you might be able to replicate the effect with a simple spell... or maybe some glowsticks. The glow we're using, however, is merely a byproduct of our own unique powers. Speaking of which, if you're going this far, maybe you should learn a few tricks of your own. Every little increase in power is one more safeguard from being torn apart, after all." Apollo cheerfully smiles, content with the humour in the situation and acting completely unconcerned by the current circumstances. "You may not want to get involved with stuff like this at all, and that would keep you from no small amount of life-threatening danger. However, underground events often influence the fate of the world at large. So, it'd be prudent for one to gain as much knowledge and power as they can in these uncertain times." He sighs, being somewhat more relaxed. "Ah, I appear to have gone on a bit of a rant. Forgive me. This does beg the question of what we should really be striving for as a group, however."
“That’s it! I think I know what that is. I have a theory that in that room there is a security monitor on a delay and the voice that just spoke is either the principal or a security guard then again, this is only a guess or a ghost, Who knows. Also, I haven’t caught your names yet, my name is Yuto Akari

Hikari sighs to herself and begins walking off for the library just like the creature had said to, nothing for it except playing the thing's game at this moment. As for their teacher's question, she'd answer to the best of her knowledge which... Isn't a lot. "Unique powers, yeah something like that. I'm just... Really impossibly good at things now in very short, and this happens when I use that skill... Something to do with channeling the world's life energy through myself, supposedly. But I'm not exactly an expert on this stuff either. Only had it for a few months. As for our goal, A-2 and the library. Just like it said." A few months, it's been long enough that she's starting to feel natural like this anyway. Driven more and more to action, she'd move fairly quickly toward the library with her bat held in hand expertly posed to bludgeon anything she might need to.
Sumeragi chuckled with Apollo despite her apparent disadvantage in this situation, a wide smile across her face like usual. "I appreciate your concern, but I'll be fine! Sure I can't turn into a glowstick, and I'm not exactly a paranormal expert, but I've had my fair share of experiences!. Ghosts on the other hand, are just not my specialty!" She started twirling her infamous silver hair, moving just enough to reveal the scar she had over her left eye, the true source behind the seemingly endless rumors that surround her. The actual marking itself was quite tame compared to the bear claw slash it was constantly compared to, but it was clear to have been a once grievous wound. "The library... a pretty stereotypical place for a ghost to be don't you think? Let's stick together though! We're already a small group as is. The last thing we need is to divide ourselves further." She trotted to Hikari's side, beckoning Apollo to follow her before pulling out her keys and looking for the key to the library.
Fushi growls at the new voices. Anxious since he has not been acquainted with the new people yet. He only stops growling when Kazuo calls to him. He follows Kazuo's command assuming that being called is something positive from someone familiar to him. The petting also endeared him more to Kazuo. He really liked it.

[The 2-A Classroom is on the second floor; the Library's entrance is at the third floor; regardless of which one they go to, there is something waiting. Right beyond the door into the classroom they hear the on and off bickering students while simultaneously being told to shut up by their teacher. There is light coming from under the door and the noises are in perpetual loop. Meanwhile, at the Library, in stark contrast, has nothing happening on the other side at first glance. If they were to enter, the only thing they would find would be an open book waiting at the center of one of the tables. The pages want to keep moving, and so they move on their own but fail to pass to the next part.]

[The white noise keeps going as the breathing of the owner of the voice becomes audible. Its hoarse, robotic voice replies.] "Come inside. The money is here. I kept it for you." [The door opens to reveal the dark interior of the office, now in silence. The exact amount of money Malloryn was waiting for them on top of the desk. From outside the office, it was impossible to tell if it was empty or if there really was anyone waiting for the right moment to strike.]
[Kazuo never really had a pet, so for as long as he forgot Fushi was a guy just a minute, this was actually quite fun. He had to wonder if Fushi was a wolf first or a human first. He would rather not think about it as he pets him. As he does this, he lifts his head and smiles at Yuto with a nod.] "I'm Kazuo Takahara, third year. Also President of the Occult Club." [That said, he would shift his gaze towards Malloryn. He couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine.] "Uhm... Malloryn, you should really consider what you're going to do right now..."
Yuto glances at Kazuo “Occult club, sounds fun. I am personally a skeptic in those topics but I love to hear theories about the supernatural and cryptozoology also what the hell is happening with all these superpowers and crap, does everyone have one? I sure as hell don’t. My apologies I got carried away, anyways we should either get what we need and get out of here or should we follow the others? I believe they are heading to the library.”
"That's so charitable of you! But, I need to get acquainted with someone again, would you mind?" {She looked in the doorway, really wanting to grab her cash and book it so something "bad" would not end up happening, though with other people being around the vicinity, the girl has some other excuse.} "Oh, hello there!...Kazuo, yes, that's your name. Hey, Kazzie, do me a favor?" {Malloryn kept up her smile and her eloquent tone. However, when her vocabulary starts to become more simplified, the girl's gaze dulls. Though she already had blue eyes, they go ahead and darken even more, as a second voice seemed to echo behind her, one that was much higher than her own. If he listened, he would know well who it was.} "Can you keep your mouth shut and let me retrieve my things, you utter waste of space? Don't let out another word unless you want to be gutted by your esophagus." {However, when her eyes lock onto something else; namely, Fushi; Malloryn smiles once more as joy returns to her voice. The girl goes ahead to try and pet the dog that she assumes is Kazuo's without his consent.} "Aw, is he a pet of yours? He's so cute! I didn't know you'd be the type of person to keep them around."
“Malloryn, Right? Whatever just grab it and we should get out of here befo-“ A human scream rings through the halls “I-It’s his scream, it can’t be his He is...” Yuto collapses crying “How is it his scream, he is dead. No.” A voice of a seemingly male teenager floods the halls “You could’ve stopped me” “It’s him, b-but that is impossible he hung Himself. That cannot be him.”
OOC: Don't write actions/words for other users' characters. Also your dialogue is kinda corny and unfitting.
Apollo follows the group, thinking as he walks. Before entering the library, however, he stops in his track. "Wait a second, guys. I think I may have a way to exercise this monster without playing into its hand. It's a pretty reckless and excessive power, though. But, god do I hate listening to the speech of whatever i'm hunting." He takes a lethargic step towards the door, much less enthusiastic than when he came in the building. He then begins to mumble "Smiting a barbarous foe is much more satisfying."
The Solar would stare over at her... Ally if not friend, eyebrows raised. "I mean I love a good brawl as much as anyone, but can we be so sure they really need to get put down man? They haven't exactly been trying to kill us or anything, so I wouldn't mind knowing a few more details before jumping to... I guess ghosts wouldn't be alive, but destroying them." She stares over at the open book, sighing and walking towards it a bit more. This could be a bad idea, and if it is Apollo will no doubt mock her for that. But the Dawn wants to know more before resorting to brute force and violence so she simply looks down at it and observes the book for a moment. Trying to read whatever is on its pages.
She opens the door towards the library, staring at Apollo as he stepped forward, tilting her head. "Smite? What, are you gonna call lightning upon it? Since when did high schoolers become so powerful? I'm starting to wonder who's really in charge around here." She steps in front of Apollo and spreads her arms wide, protecting him from any sort of traps that might be waiting for them on the other side of the door. "Allow me to go first, I can keep it busy while you two do whatever you're trying to do!"
= Hikari - Apollo - Emi =
[The Library; the moment all three step inside, the door closes itself and it becomes impossible to open from their side. If they were to check, then they would find that rather than being locked, it was being held shut, not even bulging. Hikari would check the book, and it would check back on her. All she would be able to read in the pages would be her own train of thought, being written and even illustrated as she keeps thinking. However, it would reflect the mind of anyone who read it at the time, replacing the previous person's "writings"] "Kids don't like it here~" [The voice was back echoing everywhere.] "I don't know why you keep all these things. I don't understand what they say! What are all of these things~?" [The voice was confused, but at the same time, it was trying not to laugh. Each singular bookcase would vibrate at the words spoken, and plenty of books would fall to the ground at the same time. Many of them would fall on the entire group, enough for it to seriously hurt if it hit them.]
= Yuto - Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn =
"The money is here. Take it and go back home." [The voice from before speaks again. The money awaits in the same place as previously described, and the door remains open to the office, fully dark. The white noise comebacks at the same time the group hears the sound of footsteps from the stairs. Although it sounded like someone was going up the stairs and then down running, no one was there. From time to time, the sound of metal being dragged around echoes all around them.] "................eye..............eyes.............es..." [It resonates each time the horrid noise appears.]
Apollo grits his teeth and runs to Emi's side, swinging his right arm down forcefully. "Let's rock!" Eight large equidistant pillars of stone would form around the two, complete with a circular stone slab forming a roof over the structure to protect from the falling books. He would then seem much more focused then before, shouting to Hikari while scanning the room for anything else that could prove dangerous. "Yo, Kari, you ok?"
The young woman would pause before she looks away from the book, a strange mix of her own thoughts and... Someone else? Someone far older and more dangerous by the looks of it, a warlord more than a high school student who's writings seem to suggest the best choice is to leave and go raise an army. She shakes her head and walks away from it at this point. "I'm... Fine, this book seems to show what you're thinking but... Eh no big deal. Maybe it just mixes stuff in from whoever read it last, is all I can think." She doesn't seem to buy those words. As for the falling books, the Dawn caste doesn't feel any need to be quite so over the top. She merely focuses and evades that which is falling. Dancing with an impressive grace and manging to only be struck by a couple of the objects without serious damage. But not really putting any flash into it. "Anyways, do we wanna check out A2 next or do we keep going here?"
"...eh?" ["Something is off, that wasn't how Malloryn usually talks. They aren't that aggressive. Maybe they are?" Is what Kazuo is thinking as they suddenly change their behavior. But then, a crazy idea hits him. In the end, it wasn't the weird voices and metal being dragged that made him feel a chill down his spine, but...] "Don't screw with me, don't tell me that was Sana! You already changed forms before!" [Kazuo stands up somewhat annoyed at the stalker.] "Leave Malloryn's body, they don't have anything to do with whatever sick ideas you have about me." [Kazuo shakes his head before looking over to Yuto.] "Hey, relax. Even if there are spirits here, there shouldn't be many reasons to get worried. What they can to us is next to nothing."
A voice resonates in Kazuo's head. "If you find any gold it's mine!"
{At first, Malloryn glances at Kazuo, and gives him a worried stare. Like most things, she goes ahead and tries to make out whatever they say before answering. As this was something she did not know at all, the girl thinks to herself as she tries to reply to the group leader in the best way possible.} "Er, Kazuo, who's that? That's...a girl's name right?...I think it must be common with the culture of Japan. Yes, it must be one of our classmates names!...right?" {She is obviously reaching, and laughs awkwardly. Normally, when looking that stupid (even with acting), Malloryn would run away. However, instead of having an unreadable gaze, her blue eyes change back to the cold and unbearable stare that goes best with Sana. Now that she gets to size him up again, Sana would go back to insulting him just like old times.} "You can answer that question because it's your own dumbass homeland right? I even tried to make myself sound more sophisticated just so I could spice it up, idiot stick. But no, you want to be a bitch about it, yeah I see you. You got beat by two girls and have the nerve to try and speak up to me like you didn't get humiliated back there, yeah, ok." "I'm not going to bother leaving, she can come back whenever she wants anyway. You? Nah, your fucking annoying ass doesn't want to leave this earth, nor welcome me back, pussy ass punk. Fine then, she'll get her stupid money and when I come back you better rethink your pointless life choices." ... "Don't worry sir, I'm coming to get my stuff!" {As she was possessed she had no actual idea about how "dangerous" it really seemed inside that room. But what mattered was that there was money inside. With no other reason to fight it other than slight humiliation and/or the 1% chance of death, the girl goes inside, speaking to the voice as chipper as ever. If nothing goes wrong immediately, Malloryn would take her purse and grab her wallet, counting the money before putting it in.}
Sumeragi gasps at the falling books, raising her arms and trying to take the majority of the concussive force on herself... at least until Apollo created a barrier. "O-Oh! How handy! Well done, Apollo-kun! I should've known books wouldn't be enough for any of you!" Seeing that the door was instead being barred from opening, letting out an audible huff and tapping her foot impatiently against the floor. "Oh, how fun! They've trapped us in. Well, I can't say I didn't expect this. Do you think they're any stronger than a human? I suppose we'll find out! Oh the principal will have my head for this... Stand back, my lovelies!" She takes a deep breath before charging forward and trying to shoulder tackle the door with exceptional strength for a seemingly normal person.

[Indeed, the books fall on them but really, they were only falling, and very clumsily at that too. Not only would they never, ever cause anything beyond some light bruises at worst, and some annoyances on the impact area at best. After a while, most books are on the floor, and the library looked more like the bedroom of an unruly child than anything else.] "Teeeeeeeell me what these are~! I don't get them~! I don't understand them~!" [All the various bookshelves and bookcases move from one side to another weakly as the hold on the door becomes weaker. After Emi's attempt, it seems like it's entirely possible to escape by applying enough force.]
= Yuto - Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn =
[The moment "Malloryn" steps inside the Principal's Office, the door, similar to quite possibly everywhere else in the school, is sealed shut, trapping them inside with no way out. At the same time, the curtains behind the principal's chair open to reveal a window to the rest of the schoolyard, moonlight illuminating the room. Not only was the money gone, but an elongated, lanky statue made out of bronze wires was looking at them from the side, towering and with empty facial features, like added by a child.]
[Kazuo takes a deep breath before letting out an exasperated sigh.] "What do you even mean welcome you back? That doesn't make any sense. Besides-" [Kazuo feel a sudden disturbance, or perhaps, a good sign? He feels he may find gold, but that gold rightfully belongs to someone else. He wonders what this could mean but decided to let it go for now. That Crazy Old Coot.] "Look, if it's about what happened at the cave I'll apologize if that'll get you to leave me the hell alone. Just... I'll do whatever if it means you won’t stalk me again!" [He tries following her up until the door closes. Kazuo takes yet another deep breath before pointing at the door with a forced smile.] "Ha-ha, that's funny, closing the door on me. Sadly, you missed my face. And besides, Kokoro was crazy strong, and not just that, she was determined and easy on the eyes, which is more than what you have. Losing a fight against such a strong person is…" [Kazuo clears his throat, thankful the night and the door would hide his blush. He wasn’t really sure why he was feeling like this. Thrilled, like excited by fearful; it was enough to make him mutter his final words.] “…n-not really unpleasant, I kind of wonder what she’s up to.”
Noticing the weaker hold on the door she lets out triumphant cackle before preparing for another charge. "Who knew ghosts have their limits too! Hey, wait, doesn't it sound more confused than anything? These are books, silly! They're for reading! You know, you read a book, you get a point in knowledge, it's pretty simple!" Instead of busting down the door she crouched next to the pile of books, lifting one up and tapping it against her head, all while searching the room for any hints as to what exactly was haunting the group. "Maybe we shouldn't smite this one. They seem pretty child-like so maybe we can talk to them some more?"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" {Sana's voice boomed past the door even when it was closed. Though possessed, she started to pull Malloryn's hair as if it were her own. The girl clearly forgot where she is, and was extremely annoyed that she realizes what bullshit is happening now that the school wants to act like this. She didn't care for the dark atmosphere nor the laughable attempts at a jump scare. The girl just seems to want blood.} "Know what?! Fair play then! Lucky for you these sorry ass ghosts have given me an excuse to fufill your stupid request! This girl doesn't deserve my presence, I'm needed OUTSIDE so I can get EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!" {As Sana leaves Malloryn's body, Malloryn herself stays still for a moment before looking around. Her throat was a little sore and she felt dizzy, so she went to the nearest window, which was the one with the statue, and knocked on it, thinking that was the principal.} "Er, hello? Are you the principal?...Where's my money again?"
{Meanwhile, Sana curses at herself before remembering what she did, sighing and groaning before deciding to be even lazier and speak through Kazuo's mind instead.} "Wow, I hope you're joking. Because if you aren't that's some really lame excuse. I'm shaking my head at you right now. You're so awful at being a human being." {The girl says, taunting him and taking on a tone like she were his parent while also avoiding the question to see if he picks up on it.}
Apollo tilts his head towards Emi, pausing for a moment in confusion. "Eh, a child? Even so, wouldn't we be doing it a favor by releasing its soul and all? ...Maybe not, but then again, it could always be trying to deceive us." He sighs once more. "Guess i'll have to wing it. But, i'm still working under the assumption that this a malevolent spirit.
Fushi doesn't really understand the drama of the other people around him and is instead distracted by the open window. He pads over to the window pushing his head through the opening to howl at the moon. He saw a dog do it once so he assumes that is what he is supposed to do in this body. Awoooooooooooooo He howls for a while occasionally stopping to see if anyone is pleased with his howls.
Hikari would nod to her teacher, this is why despite the love of battle she has the young woman isn't about to just rush into beating a thing to 'death' when it may well be some random kid. "Yeah I wanna learn more, sensei is right I think. And if this is a trick... Well I got faith in us if that turns out to be the case, so let's not just rush into senseless violence. Even if I kind of love violence admittedly." She'd just shrug a bit before trying to find something useful herself, maybe something in the books will stand out...? She'd also start back up the gleam in her eyes, once again allowing sight into the hidden world of ghosts and spirits. If anything is going on out of sight that could be useful.
= Hikari - Apollo - Emi =
[The bookshelves all vibrate, following the ghostly laughter, now all the books all also floating above, spiraling and dancing, though one or thirty look bulky enough to seem like these were better off being separated into multiple tomes, they were all like leaves in the wind.] "Ooooooh these are human books! I thought they looked different, HEE HEE HEE!! I cannot read this language~! Thank you, miss!" [Although Emi didn't find anything by looking around, what her answer managed to do was having the presence return all the books back into their rightful place, including the one Hikari was checking out before. There is nothing to clear out the mystery, but the door is now open.]
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn =
[Fushi approaches the windows on the corridor and can indeed see the moon, which would turn around and show its eyes and mouth. The moon would smile at Fushi with a single wink before turning back to its original position. As this happens, the noise of metal being dragged becomes more intense as whatever was creating it rushes forward. It was all coming from a long metal pipe being moved around by a twitching humanoid figure without any hair and such a lack of flesh, the skin was tight around its bones.] "give eyes!!!! cannot see!!!!!!" [It yells out as it swings the metal pipe around wildly, both in the direction of Fushi, above him and away, without a particular target. Meanwhile, inside the Office, the voice from before would return, now coming from the statue.] "Money is for payment. You walked into my domain and you will not leave until something is given. Something that belongs to you, and you alone, that no one else has." [The white noise would return and this time around it would slowly start making Malloryn feel dizzy, and drowsy. It wouldn't be long before they fall asleep.]
[Kazuo lets out a growl as he turns around, facing the stairs while holding his head with both hands, unaware of what's happening on both ends.] "Just shut your trap and go to hell, what do you even want from me!?"
{Malloryn taps her foot, putting a finger up to her chin as she begins to think about the conditions that were set.} "Something that belongs to...me?...Hmmm...sir, that makes for a lot of potential loopholes. Could you summarize in...well...saying "a language I can understand" is rude. Mister principal, I might have to phone a friend for this." {The girl would stretch, covering her mouth as she yawns. Though there was a particularly agitated glare directed at nothing, the girl would sigh as she feels the wave of tierdness coming back anytime she tries to think.} "And I'm getting drowsy too. Hmmm, I think I'll settle with this." {Malloryn almost cries as she takes off the necklace she forgot she had around her neck. Even though she had a lot of necklaces, it was the one that was with her, and the one her brother paid the most for. Her tone of voice was the same, yet she had a hint of sarcasm laced in to express the sodium coursing through her bloodstream.} "A custom made necklace that my dearest older brother paid someone to make. The fact that I have to give it away like this. The world is so cruel...*yawn*."
{Audible laughing was heard from inside his head.} "Wow, go to hell? You must really be slacking. That's the best you got? Bitch, we're both going to end up there, no doubt about it. As for what I want...ugh, this will take a long while." {The girl sighs, and prepares herself to speak out the Declaration of Independence to the stupidest male on Earth.} "I want you to beg and grovel for me, you sniveling little googly-eyed earthworm. The fact that you passed up something I bothered to offer myself is utter stupidity in of itself, because you got one thing right, that stupid ass cave did make me pissed. Then you thought the best course of action was to bring some random and poor excuse of a man into your problems, as if you couldn't solve anything for yourself. All this time, I wasn't invited to your awful, dumbass little circle. What is your social circle actually a train tunnel? You need different people asshat. Your clothes got holes like it's swiss cheese, just like your brain. You're so terrible. People like you make me want to vomit, disgusting, ungrateful-" {Though it seemed like it would never end, Sana gets interrupted by an outside force. After a few seconds of silence, the girl's voice changes so it'd almost seem like a different person was on the mental telephone line. But Sana's language was obviously still the same.} "On second thought...that's all you big loser, my friend wants to order takeout! Thank you for your reaction, Kazooie looking ass bitch!"
(edited by _Sana)
"Human? Does that mean this spirit wasn't human? How odd... well, I suppose it's not a problem for now. Excuse me! Are you still here? We have some questions for you, if you don't mind!" She scooted towards the middle of the room, kneeling down and clapping her hands together like she was making an offering. "We're here to investigate a potentially malevolent spirit, but you don't seem to want to hurt anyone! We humbly request any help you can offer, even if it's just a few simple answers!" She plants her forehead to the floor in prostration, hoping the spirit will cooperate with her. After a short while she poked her head up and looked to the two others in the room. "We were investigating a boy who hanged himself, right? This one doesn't seem to be the same one, so maybe this school has loads of spirits. But we can use that to our advantage! After all, they know the spirit realm better than us, they can guide us!"
The boy walked on streets looking around people, the boy with the silver hair, golden eyes with the x marking both on his eyes, his dress is white, with some details like the lines on his dress, the buttons are gold, his red scarf around his shoulders, that has some gold lines and details at his scarf too, his belts are tied around him wrapped in a ring where the third belt is down as if it moves around freely, he hold into his tome, a white and black book with many gold lines and details on it, the book is closed with the blue crystal centered around it, there's a beautiful blue feather that is stuck between the pages of the tome, as the boy adjusts his white academic cap around his head, he was amazed at how this world that his friend told him about, a crowd of people, every kinds of technology like that 'video game handheld' that his friend had. "This is amazing" he whispered with excitement, a calm excitement yet somewhat nervous, he is here, lost from his brother to another world, he is aware of that, yet he wants to explore this world, alone, to prove to his brother that he can be helpful, a strong man like him-- no, stronger than him so he can help his brother too. As he walks then, at first he saw a white building, with the three floors and a gate blocking them, also a crowd of people, but those people wearing similar uniforms. Some people noticed him being different. "is he a cosplayer? " the girl whispered to the other girl that she was near her "I don't know about this, either way, his cosplay is way too perfect" "but he seems like he is from overseas..." "maybe because he is just cosplaying, let's ask him." As the girls approached the boy the girl said: "um, excuse me, are you a foreign around here?" to him. "yes, I am from another another world, do you know where I am" "is he acting or something?" the first girl was confused as the two girls were looking to each other confusingly. "um... You are in Japan, and you are at Tokyo, and you are at kosei high school in shibuya you see" "oh--" the boy remembered, he may raise suspicion since not all world know about the world he was in, so he had no choice but to find a lie to it "um, I was just acting, no need to worry..." he laughs nervously "oh! I'm Thorne Yuriev, and I came from Russia!" but then he realized what he said now will raise even more suspicion and all he thought is things will go bad. As the girls were amazed silently Thorne because more nervous. "no way, his Japanese is more fluent if he is Russian" the girl was amazed "so, Thorne Yuriev-san, are you just walking around here" the other girl asked. "um, yes, I am" he answered. "we are sorry if we asked you rudely, please excuse us" as the girl said that, the two girl left, and so Thorne took an exhale and became relieved. "this school is kind of Intresting, and maybe I can check it out?" the boy was at his curiously, and so all he had to do is to try to enter the school. ooc: sorry for the long post, but would is the character allowed to go in the school?
(edited by Thorne-yuriev)
OOC: To answer your question right away, yes. However, consider that, right now, not only are there no more people at the school or near it other than those posting, it's currently nighttime, way past the time the school operates, closer to midnight. I would uh... probably advice that you read back a while to get an idea on what's happening at the moment
Ooc: I went ahead blindly to post it even without looking at the past posts, I was just about to also edit the post and to ask what should I do with the rest of the segment about the two girls that I just wrote.
OOC: You figure it out
"Th-th-that's!" Apollo was agitated by the fact that her logic was more sound than his. He would take a step back and breathe deeply, reassessing the situation. "It may mean that it's no longer human, however we can't discount the possibility that this may also be a demon. In which case, we should meet up with Kazuo. He knows far more about the demon world than I do."
Fushi is unphased by the moon but the repugnant odor of rotting flesh causes his sharp nose to twitch. He doesn't like it one bit. His distaste for the disgusting, smelly, bodies in front of him is strengthened when one of them actually hits him with a pipe. Grrrrrrrrr. He growls jumping from side to side to confuse his enemy. After an addition tense moment he launched himself at the nearest one with teeth barred. He jams his snout into the neck of the rotting body trying to tear out some flesh with his gleaming fangs.
Ooc: so as much as I can understand, fushi, kazou malloryn are near the principal office currectly? If that's so, should I join there?
Hikari shrugs at the ongoing conversation. She... Isn't totally sure what to think at the moment, her occult knowledge is merely vague for the most part after all. "Heck if I know, I can be helpful if I gotta fight but that's about it. I was kinda thinking checking out A-2 next though, unless anyone has a better idea in mind?" Frankly even if they did she'd still set off for that classroom, not really seeing any harm in heading for it given how simple things have been this far.
OOC: Yes, and again, I'm leaving it up to you.

[The voice giggles once again before making a simple statement.] "HEE HEE HEE!! This place is boring!! I don't want to talk here!! I think I know something or maybe I don't, I'm not sure!! HEE HEE HEE!! I live where the sky is clear, the moon...shines!! I am one with the Earth, just like you are!! It was the last place he did anything at all!! Before kicking the chair below!!" [The spirit completely disappears from the room without anything else to add. With that said, then is the 2-A classroom; right beyond the door into the classroom they hear the on and off bickering students while simultaneously being told to shut up by their teacher. There is light coming from under the door and the noises are in perpetual loop.]

[The "zombie" type would find itself unable to react as Fushi attacks, defeating it in a single move. In its final moments, the Zombie would be able to view the moon above and remain calm, allowing itself to lay on the ground and turn to dust. Nothing remains of it, not even the stench. However, the iron pipe lays abandoned, wet too. A quick inspection would reveal that it was wet, and the faintest odor of sewage covers it. Meanwhile...] "It is a nice object. Meaningful. I am satisfied with it." [The being orders Malloryn to keep their belonging as it moves its long, skeletal arm towards the door and flips a switch. Now that the room was illuminated, the money they were looking for is revealed all over the floor. There is no sign of the previous being ever being there.] "The door knocked the bills down. You may take them and go back home. It is late." [Something pats Malloryn's head before going away forever. The door has been opened too.]
[Kazuo would sit on the first few steps of the stairs leading to the second floor and would cross his arms.] "Sana, you are making next to no sense with all the insults sprinkled in between." [Another kind of inner voice speaks to him at that moment, however. He keeps his arms crossed but decides to keep a smile, just glaring to a specific point right in front of himself, as if he was glaring directly at the girl.] "There nothing you have that I couldn't get from another girl. Sen is someone I enjoy being near her... s-she's fun to talk to. Asami may be a child but she's always nice and saved my life. I could talk with Novella about literature like it was nothing. Hikari may be a great sparring partner. Emi-sensei is responsible, and I can count on her to help with our occult investigations. Kokoro is strong, r-really, really strong." [Kazuo falters a bit at the end, again the same impulse. He clears his throat to ignore the blush creeping up.] "...And she gave me a great power to use. You though? There's nothing you can give me, nothing I can use. The most useful you've ever been was as a ragdoll and bait to weakling enemies! If you need insults and your powers to have my attention while also stalking me everywhere I go, if you really want me to even accept your presence then you might as well JUST KNEEL BEFORE ME AND SUBMIT!!" [Kazuo closes his eyes after all this.] "Like the bitch you are."
Ooc: alright, I'll try, tell me if there's any error or mistakes Ic: As the boy enters the hall, the people's voices-- the crowds, became empty, there's no voice outside, and no one's here, that made him confused but somewhat scared, he wonders how there were people just now and when he enters there are no one here. "Hello? anyone's here?" he shouted, but suddenly he heard someone as if they were talking, he decided to follow that voice, he walk to the second floor stairs, there he saw someone as if they are talking to themselves. "excuse me sir! Are you there alone? " Thorne asked and shouts the guy who was talking to himself on the stairs.

{Though Kazuo couldn't see it, the way Sana comes back for no reason obviously makes it clear she did an eyeroll before she started to speak again. The way she grips onto a plastic bag full of food resonates within his mind by pure accident.} "Ew, I only heard that cliche quote at the end. Who are you even talking to? You must look so weird. That stupid door opened so I might as well make this quick, AGAIN." {The girl makes sure to leave in herself and only herself, which includes her little giggle fit from the amazing reaction she's getting. Since there's no reason to stop for unneeded interruptions, she decides to make one herself. Sana starts to sip some tea as annoyingly as possible, sighing out in relief when she finishes her drink.} "Get a snickers bar so you can get all that sorted out. You said it yourself. All those girls yet you can't choose a single one because all you want to do is measure your tiny dick. You might as well choose someone before you die sad and alone. Unless of course that's your objective. It's not like I'd ever want to stop you from achieving your depressing dreams if that's the case. Oh, and go to sleep so you can come up with something better than a "no u uno reverse card ha ha served". Dumbass."
"O-oh...erm, thank you very much, sir!" {The girl bows her head, blushing to herself as she gets to be able to take back her necklace. Putting it on gave her a warming feeling. In fact, the only reason she didn't object to the headpat she had gotten out of nowhere was because Malloryn got to think about her brother as she put it on.} "Duly noted. I shall take my leave once I retrieve it." {Malloryn hums to herself as she picks up the cash off the ground like a peasant. When she got her last stack of cash inside her purse, she looked out at the gate, giving her occult club leader a VERY worried expression when he sees him insulting thin air. The girl clears her throat before walking up to him.} "...Kazuo, are you okay? Were you praying?...I think that's common in Japanese culture, right?"
(edited by Mals_Covet)
"japanese culture?? " he wonders about what this lady meant about that. "excuse me, miss, do you know this guy, does he always do this thing like when he talks to himself?" thorne approached to this lady, who would seem that she is worried about him, as if Thorne is also confused of what is going on, but he wants to help him, and see what is going on around this place.
Fushi is left confused by the sudden loss of his enemy. He sniffs the floor and walks around in a circle but does not find the same disgusting smell. Well he does find it on the abandones iron pipe. Yet, he isn't too keen on picking it up. His mouth tastes horrible now and he knows it would taste worse with the pipe. So he lets go of his current form and in a flurry of white tendrils he reforms into the body of young girl with long black hair tied into a loose ponytail. He now wears a light, plain-colored dress with white banadges wrapped around his arms and legs. He tests his fingers by wiggling them before picking up the pipe with both his hands. It's cold. Fushi pointedly states. Then his dulled sight searches in the dark for any other movement and he sees Marollyn walk out of the office. He follows after her.
Sumeragi hopped back up onto her feet, bowing and tossing a couple yen coins onto the table. "You've been quite helpful, friend! I don't know if you see value in yen, but hopefully that's a good enough offering for you, whenever you decide to come back! Thank you for your help!" She turned to the two students, slamming her fist into her hand with a wide smirk of revelation. "Well, they were cryptic but it sounds like we were looking for that tree the whole time! The spirit we're looking for hung himself there, so I suppose it makes sense he'd be there, right? That or this one is leading us there... Let's head to classroom 2A first though!" With a quick nod-nod, she beckons her students over towards the door, quickly inspecting it for any damages she might've caused by ramming into it before holding the door open for the two high schoolers.
Hikari would nod to her teacher, that guess seems to make sense anyway. And she sees nothing wrong with heading towards A-2 before going back to the tree. "Yeah that sounds about right, and I guess we'll see what's behind door two now. Seems a little louder in there than one might expect at this hour..." The young woman walks straight the door, eyes darting around the classroom in search of these bickering students she could hear from outside. Unless it was merely an illusion of sounds, they should be in here, right? Not that just sound would really surprise her at the moment. Either way, the Solar is ready to act if needed while heading past A-2's doors.
Walking in the classroom behind Hikari, Apollo goes straight to the whiteboard while ignoring everything else and writes "Ask me who Joe is" in chalk. He then turns to Hikari and grins. "This is classic American seal. The spirit will be stunned, utterly baffled once they experience how quite unbreakable it is."

[The moment the door to the classroom is open, they see every single seat being occupied by limp corpses of what seemed to be students. They were all still wearing their uniform, all of them the design from the previous century; on the front, a singular lanky statue, as static as the students, facing them now while pointing at the blackboard. Soon enough, their noses pick up on the horrid stench the classroom is filled with.] "Pay attention. Class is in session." [The statue speaks, now watching the group. Moments pass with nothing more being said or being done. However, they very next moment they all blink, they find themselves surrounded by the students, having seemingly teleported from their seats and around them, preventing them from escaping but also limiting their movements.] "Children are cruel. Pay attention. Answer the question. What is this room? What's my purpose" [The corpses talk to one another in a hushed tone, all of them faceless and even trying to hide their mouth's movements as they gossip. Not even the dark can hide their rotten, decaying flesh.]

[After Malloryn leaves the office, the door closes once again, although slowly and silently, without much else to show or ask for. The corridor of the first floor remains silent and empty, were it not for the group of four (plus one) present.] "HEE HEE HEE you were fun to watch!! HEE HEE HEE!! I have one last surprise!!" [The childish voice coming from all around them came back as the moonlight that was previously illuminating the corridor slowly disappears, leaving them in complete darkness. If they could look at the windows again, they may find the entire yard now was nothing but a giant forest.]
"SANA I WILL PUNCH YOU ON THE FACE!!" [Kazuo yells out loud before realizing he was also saying all this in front of a person he didn't know and then Malloryn, and a small gi- That's Fushi. So Fushi is a shapeshifter. Not just a wolf person.] "Ah." [He shakes his head before addressing both Malloryn and Thorne.] "I'm fine, don't worry just... there was a stalking ghost near, and it was annoying me. Nothing important." ["If you can somehow hear my thoughts, I want you to know, you slut, I'm ignoring you." He thinks as the corridor is absorbed by total darkness. Not really knowing where he was standing anymore, he stays close to the wall to his right and follows it back to the main corridor, where the windows looking out to the now obscured yard are.] "Does uh... anyone have a flashlight or something...? This is weirding me out."
"Bro, your thoughts are in Portugese. There's no way I can hear that. And seriously? On, the face?...Does grammar work differently here? What were they teaching you?..." {Malloryn suddenly speaks up, flashing a disappointed look with her blue eyes. However, the teal glint left as soon as it came, leaving the girl in the middle of an awkward state. She tries to reminisce on what he had said, ultimately failing and guessing what his reply was.} "Ah, ghosts. So there are some in this establishment! I thought that I was just talking to the principal a few moments ago. Maybe I still was...anyways, Kazuo–I'm pretty sure that's his name–is the occult club leader." {She states to Thorne whom she never met and is weirded out by his presence, before taking her phone out again, taking a picture of the dark with her flash on. Afterwards, she taps on the screen to turn on the flashlight function, putting the camera up to the corridor.} "Hmmm...if we were in France I'd just call a helicoptor and fly away by myself. But this seems very new and too fun to pass up."
Walking in the classroom behind Hikari, Apollo goes straight to the whiteboard while ignoring everything else and writes "Ask me who Joe is" in chalk. He then turns to Hikari and grins. "This is classic American seal. The spirit will be stunned, utterly baffled once they experience how quite unbreakable it is." ooc: to clarify, he writes it in english
"what was that voice just now...?" thorne is weirded out by that precense of that voice, but this voice really made him curious about that last surprise, it could be scary, but as thorne looked upon those two, he thought about maybe something scary is going on this place, all Thorne took is an inhale and an exhale to get rid of his thoughts and never become scared, this would become just like he'll become at the way, and he wants to be helpful to others. "I see now" after hearing this girl's explaition, he looked at the guy who got angry now just now, and after calming down and saying that the 'ghost stalking him' he got curious about the ghost he was talking just now, reminded him of that little girl who got possessed by many ghosts, not only that, he got reminded of the people he saw outside.... "ghost stalking you, that kind of reminded me of those people who existed outside and then the place becoming empty once you enter this place----- whoa!!!" thorne gets shocked by that mysterious flash of light that this girl just tried he got scared but curious because of it. "w-what was that light magic you just implored?? And it was from your video game handheld of yours??" seeing this, it really seemed to look like the same video game handheld but different from this girl's hand.

Apollo would sigh, tilting his head out of boredom as he looks down on the statue. "This is a classroom, and I suppose that makes you the teacher, who's purpose is to teach. Not so much you could do for me." He then unenthusiasticly walks to the nearest corpse, placing his hand on its forehead. "After all, my purpose doesn't end at knowing. I don't know one could bare to leave these things to their own devices even after learning of their true nature." His hand then releases a potent darkness, seeping into the corpse's head and infecting every molecule in it, rendering it a dark-hued paperweight as opposed to whatever it was before. Any prior function to anything the darkness spreads would be lost. "I've had my fill. And, if it's all the same to you guys, i'm gonna report back to Kazuo." With a more cold attitude, he then makes his way back to the classroom's entrance, lightly shoving any corpse that was in his way.
(edited by Sunna)
Fushi is just as surprised as the new guy in the group. The light produced by the device in the other stranger's hands seems to have been created out of nowhere. He can't comprehend how that just happens. Forgetting that he is a human now, he whimpers and whines with fright. Evil. He calls it once he finds his words. He bangs down the metal pipe of his against the floor to drive the evil thing away from him.
Ooc: so that means he is still in his wolf form??
OOC: No he is a human girl now. He just got used to being a wolf momentarily so he has to acclimate back to humanness.
Seeing all the decaying corpses of what were obviously students flicked a switch in Miss Sumeragi's head, her classic, characteristic grin fading completely, only staring at the scene with a totally flat, straight face. For her standards, this would be the most solemn expression she'd ever made in view of a student, and her voice sounded even more unusual, speaking rather monotone but with a very subtle, deep growl in her throat. "What... is this...?" After the corpses teleported, she seemed to get even more agitated, watching the rotting bodies talk and move about as if they were at all lively. "If this is some sort of twisted joke I'll make sure laughing is the last thing you'll be doing." Despite her movement being fairly encumbered due to the surrounding array of bodies, she didn't seem to care at all, only getting more visibly angry the longer she stared at the dead students.
Ooc: so that means she is a human girl then. Ic: as Thorne was surprised to see a human girl against another after taking that video game handheld down, he opened his tome after taking the Blue crystal away then the tome was flying in the front of him flipping pages on its own, he pushed the girl who held that video game handheld behind her, protecting her from that other girl who destroyed that video game handheld thing. "you ok?" as Thorne shakes his head the girl behind him asking this to ensure if she was OK, he turned his head back to his tome finding a page for a spell he needed, he touches the page of that tome where the word was 'Ветвь дерева' with his left hands and raised his hand on that girl who destroyed that video game handheld, as many tree branches tights both of that girls hand, and her hands, the tree branches were like icy shaped tree branches, they were cold, as the girl was holding the metal pipe, Thorne had no choice but to raise his other hand, making an ice throwing into the metal pipe, which it got away from the girl's hand. "what are you doing and why?" he asks the the girl who was tied up by icy tree branches, he was mad as if the girl's was almost dead if he couldn't act sooner, but the girl in the front of him is also a human, this weird place, those people, and the ghosts, he then thought that maybe this girl is possessed by the ghosts too.

{Before getting her hand pummeled in with a metal pipe, the girl drops her phone, looking down as the stranger she just spoke to a tiny bit pushed himself behind her. Now that there's magic flying around and a broken phone on the floor, Malloryn isn't stressed out by her life being in danger, rather that because her phone is broken.} "Erm...It-it's not a...I don't have the mental capacity to bother questioning any of this...But I'm fine, don't worry, heh heh..." {Except her blue eyes start to turn a shade lighter as she takes on a more worried expression. A second voice echoes behind her that is way more worried compared to the tired girl from before. Since they're strangers, the girl decides to take a safer approach, running away to the most trusted person they could find.} "...no, you're not! K-Kazzie, take this innocent girl's body away from this circus act!!!" {Which was probably the most confused boy of them all, accidentally tackling them in the dark as an horrible attempt at a hug in hopes for better odds of safety.}
= Hikari - Apollo - Emi =
"Teacher, one that teaches. In class." [The figure replies immediately as Apollo speaks. This is immediately followed by the voice.] "HEE HEE HEE!! So that's what this was all about!! I don't look here often because nothing happens!!" [That said, and given the quick answer, it would all replay as it did back in the Library, that is, it would all return to nothing. Before this however, whatever it was that Apollo tried to do, it would do nothing at all. This is because there are no molecules to be affected, even if the bodies may feel perfectly physical and present.] "HEE HEE HEE!! HEE HEE HEE!! It's really fun, funny!! Your face is so funny, miss!! HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE!!" [In the same blink of an eye that it took them to be surrounded, the entire group of corpses and figure would go away. The horrible stench would disappear as well. On top of this happening, they would find that the floor under them would be darker, as the top of trees now look like a sea of leaves all over the yard, clearly visible from the windows to the outside.]
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn - Thorne =
[The light they have (or had, even I'm confused, whatever, yall have phones) would reveal very clearly the trees outside, and how the yard had become a complete forest that barely allows the light of the moon to pass. The door to the outside is now fully open, and it is inviting anyone to go through. There no more changes.]
[Kazuo tries to reach into his pocket until he is tackled by Malloryn, or rather, Sana. She hits him on his back, and he falls to the floor, almost hitting his head, had it not been for his own arms. The other unlucky part is that the girl fell on top of his back, which made him wince in pain at the impact.] "...I wished it were so easy to ignore you. You hate me and then you try to hug me...!?" [He stays on the floor, facedown as he reaches for his own phone and uses its light to figure out what to do, illuminating down the corridor.] "...we may just have to go check the trees again. I feel like this is almost over. I want it to be. I don't want to be near this woman for a while." [He takes a deep breath and presses his forehead against the floor.]
"Ah!" Apollo pauses and turns back towards sensei, closing his eyes as they begin to tear up lightly as he snorts. "You're afraid, aren't you? I didn't think you would be cause this kind of stuff is inconsequential to me, Emi-chan." He then stands in front of her and creates a broadsword in his right hand. "Hold onto that fear, there's only so much you can feel til it all becomes meaningless to you. But don't worry because I, Apollo, defender of women, will ensure no harm comes to you." He then looks around his new surroundings, scanning for anything that could pose a threat. "Illusionary. Our foe must be of the sinister nature to be create such a deceptive scene. It probably lied about its own origin, as well. It would explain how knowledge of it came to pass if its been tricking its past victims in a similar matter." He nods, further assessing the situation and looking for anything that may prove effective in staving off an unholy assailant.
As Thorne's left arm started to shake, he noticed that the icy tree branches will be weakened by any moment, he even hasn't mastered the skill of handling a very long icy magic on his hand, for now, thorne would use a second strategy, either he'll use his mirage forest to freeze that girl, which it is a futile, thorne doesn't want the girl in the front of him to die while being possessed by the ghosts, he thought of the second one, to summon granat, the beast who gave Thorne this tome, thorne thought maybe granat have an idea of what's going on, and to stop the girl who is tied up by the icy tree branches too, the second idea may work, but first he has to ensure the two's safety and reccomend them to escape this place first. "you two, my spells will start to be weakened, escape while you can...!" thorne didn't have time to turn his head to those two behind him, because he is focused on the front of the girl, thorne flipped his tome to the first page and touched it with his right hand, six icy butterflies appeared flying around him, all he has to do is to buy time until those 6 icy butterflies start to break until granat appears. "ah... Sorry if this isn't the time for introduction, but I'm Thorne, you are kazuo and........." while busy in the front of him, he never get those two's names, he actually heared the name 'kazuo' from that blue eyes girl when she called him while he was on stairs, but when he thinks about it now, maybe he was going too far by just knowing their names, he has to focus on the girl who attacked them first "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't ask too much, just escape you two...!"

OOC: Excuse me, but who is attacking us? If you don't mind me asking
(edited by Kazuo_Takahara)
Ooc: fushi in which started to break maloryn's phone with the metal and this is where Thorne thought that fushi is attacking? Or did I misunderstood something?
OOC: The light scared Fushi and they merely hit the floor, they aren't attacking anyone or anything at all
"Fear...? No, I'm not afraid. That was... s-something else. I don't want to get into it. The moment has passed." Letting out an incredibly deep sigh as any and all fury that was plaguing her mind disappeared, quickly readopting her jovial neutral demeanor, her face regaining its bright glow of enthusiasm once more. "But I won't turn down the opportunity to let one of my students take the charge if he's feeling bold enough! After all, how can one truly live their youth without being adventurous! Lead the way, oh glorious Apollo-kun~!" She couldn't help but stare out the window with curiosity the more the leaves grew restless outside, tilting her head with an almost childish inquisitiveness. "That spirit lied about its origin? Then maybe... that was the spirit we were looking for? It seems so... immature though! I wouldn't believe that's the spirit of a high schooler. Whatever the case, it may be more malevolent than we thought. We need to solve this immediately, or else that illusion might actually mean something." Even at the mere thought of the visceral illusion, she couldn't help gritting her teeth in raw frustration.
OOC: It means I read something wrong lol, sorry about that Thorne. "No, I'm lighting up my mood before this atmosphere, you dolt." {Pain was always fun to watch when you aren't in it. Except the person that was enjoying it would fade away once again, leaving an even more confused girl in their wake.} "E-erm, uh, K-Kazuo, why are we making physical contact?" {Malloryn sprung up from the ground, letting go of Kazuo and backing away a few inches. She shuffled through her purse trying to look for her phone but all she can do in the meantime was stumble on her words.} "Oh no, did some spiritual force push us? I sorely apologize, uhm, I'll pay for any hospital bills you might need...Should I call the ambulance? Ugh, where's my phone again..."
Fushi is still intimidated by all the flashing devices but something else catches his attention. The interaction between Kazuo and the only girl of the group. He watches with confusion not quite understanding the purpose of all the touching. He doesn't want to be left out though so he also touched Kazuo. By walking in front of him and touching his nose. This does nothing. Fushi is disappointed in the lack of a result. He holds Kazuo's nose for a few more seconds to see if something happens.
Hikari just shrugs and follows after Apollo, it sure is a thing he's saying. But whatever, no time or motive to really argue with him at the moment. Instead she focuses on getting ready as the magical baseball bat made of something which looks gold and rune-covered appears in her hands again. "Illusion huh... Well, I guess we'll see what happens from here wont' we? Anyway sure Apollo go ahead and lead. I'll be ready if I'm needed." And that's all she says for the moment, merely following along while clearly lost in thought as they walk.
= Hikari - Apollo - Emi =
[Descending to the first floor would make it necessary to bring out any light they had. Due to the yard full of trees, no light shines through the windows, turning the entirety of the first-floor pitch black. They are able to see the light the other group is generating, however.]
= Everyone =
[The door leading to the outside remains open, the new forest awaits in complete darkness and in silence. You sense a strong power from beyond this door.]
"What do you mean your mood...!?" [Deep breaths yet again as Malloryn gains some distance. He would wave his hand around, visible due to the light of his own phone.] "It's nothing, don't worry about, it wasn't your..." [Then Fushi happened.] "...fault." [Kazuo would softly take Fushi's hand and direct it somewhere else, anywhere else, as he quietly stood up again and focused on the corridor, and then the door leading outside.] "Fushi, you don't need to copy everything people do, that could get you in trouble, big trouble. I'm just telling you right now." [Clearing his throat and telling himself Sana was going to pay dearly for all this, he walks down the corridor and towards the door leading to the backyard.] "Be careful, guys. You too new guy, err... Thorne, was it?"
Apollo nods, not able to grasp the meaning of his companion's responses. Rather than look into it, he merely walks up to the nearest window and opens it up any way he can. "Right, going through the hallways may prove more of a risk now, so i'll just create some earth stairs for you guys to climb down or something." He then dramatically backflips out the window, landing just a few feet away from the school. He then proceeds to create large stone stairs before looking inside the school for Kazuo, who he would wave to if he found.
"eh...?" as Thorne was confused with what's going on, he closed his tome to melt all the icy tree and the butterflies away, he relaxed his left arm and then embraced his tome again, he adjust his academic cap again and nervously. "wait... So then this girl wasn't possessed by ghosts or anything...? " he asked that, confused of what's going earlier, first he almost assumed that this girl was attacking the other after she hit down the video game handheld, he had to stop her that she may be possessed by ghosts, but then he got more than nervous and shaken the way that he may misunderstood anything from the start, and he wasn't helping at first. "I-I-I'M SORRY, I thought you were attacking her at first, I misunderstood everything...!" he bows a little at first, but then he bows a lot, he misunderstood everything at first. "at this way... I'll just... Become a stepping stone to adam if I keep up like this...." he whispered this to himself and becomes sad after this, he sighs again and disapointed at himself like this... He thought he really can't do anything at all...
"Yeah, with this pitch darkness I'd be more prone to hurting myself than any ghost atta- Did you say earth stairs...?" Seeing the stone stairs utterly perplexed her. She knew her students were quite powerful now, that was a given, but there seemed to be no end to the tricks they're pulling out of their sleeves! "Looks like everything's coming together! But whatever happens, you can always fall behind me! I may not be able to glow like you, but I'm sure I can take a beating!" Offering Hikari and Apollo a quick thumbs up, she slowly and steadily descends down the earthen staircase, clutching her over-sized bag like she were ready to tear it open at any moment.
{The girl lets go of her purse, breathing out a sigh of relief as she zips her purse back up. Though her phone is gone, that matter can be solved by buying a new one. For now, just exit the school that turned into a forest so you can make that transaction.} "...huh. Well, whatever you say, Kazuo!" {From Malloryn's perspective, it was still a bit weird Kazuo let her off that easily just by acting concerned. Nevertheless, there's always more room for that to happen by engaging first, as any person willing to progress forwards should. Because of this, Malloryn decides to open the door first, no hesitation as she turns back towards everyone else present.} "What for? Doors are great surprises."
Fushi nods his head without quite getting the meaning behind his scolding. He only realizes that he is being chastised and he doesn't like it. I'm sorry? He says. Unsure if those are the words that are supposed to fix things. He then follows the group to the door and observes what Malloryn does. He doesn't feel as comfortable with these people anymore so without much prompting he walks out the door first.

[Hopefully, the ones in the second floor do realize that the only windows they have lead right into the forest, and heading into it at a random point may or may not be a good idea. Regardless, those who descend will find themselves deep in the shadows that the tall trees cast below. In the forest, they would find themselves unable to see anything, not even their own nose. They feel the wind softly blowing in strange directions, and the sound of rustling leaves would not stop, like whispering masses, all watching what they will do, and the creaking of the trees are not unlike the laughter of the previous presence.]
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn - Thorne =
[The moment Fushi goes past the door and into the forest, he would find himself unable to see his way back, even if he only had but a single foot the other way. Suddenly, he was just missing in the middle of nowhere, unable to track anything, not even by scent. However, he can feel both Emi and Apollo somewhere nearby, as well as anyone that steps into the forest. From the perspective of the others, Fushi was gone the moment they did as much as blink. The door remains open, the darkness is inviting them. At the same time, the branches of the trees scratch the windows.]
(edited by Melbourne)
"...Am I just being stupid or did Fushi just disappear?" [No matter where he focused his light on, the weird being had just gone missing. Somewhat worried, given the circumstances, he looks at Malloryn and then at Thorne.] "Uh... if you guys can fight, I would suggest you get ready and stay close. I don't feel like this will be very fun." [A void vortex would appear right above Kazuo as he extends his hand. From within it, a short blade is released, which he grabs before slowly moving forward and into the forest.] "Sana, either help Malloryn or stay put. Don't just take her body for no reason. Thorne, I don't know you enough or what your deal is but keep your eyes open. Expect... I don't know, monsters that look like trees that also eat humans." [He jokes but at this point, that might as well be the case. After this, he should've fully gone past the door.]
Apollo could clearly see where he was heading, but wasn't rational enough to determine whether or not it was a good idea. Instead, he simply decides how to proceed upon landing. Realizing an adequate amount of light may be necessary, he steps forward into the center of a few trees and does a spin slash, a sharp trail of air propelling forth at the trees around him and cutting through them as if they were struck by an real axe enough times to fall. He would push these trees away with a barrage of sediment, allowing the moonlight to shine directly on him. His eyes would shine white and his skin would reflect that moonlight just as brightly. He would then wait for Hikari to descend before stepping further into the forest. "Hey, ghooooost, just come out and fight me already. Your tricks are boring as shit. Honestly, what are you even trying to do? Scare us? You're not really good at anything, you know?" The young man then yawns, trying once more to locate the ghost's presence.
He shakes his head and punched both of his cheecks for thinking such a thing, as he still is strong and starts to think away those useless thoughts, he whispered "I'm okay" to himself, as he left a serious eyes in himself, making these thoughts go away. As he steps to the forest, he is amazed by the fact this building has some forest, he remembers there were so many buildings close to each other a while ago, but looking at those trees and leaves, is it even real, what in the world are we in? "fushi? The girl?" after listening to what kazuo said, he looked around again, and between those two, he can't seem to find her, all he thought that this is all weird, but he can't give in too, the situation is really dire. After the vortex appeared, he opened his tome again after kazuo released his blade, charging some ice aura with his left hand as his tome releasing an aura too "alright, I'll charge ahead after I release the spell, when I say 'now' try to get away!" he said that before kazuo goes into combat to the vortex as he released his left hand after targeting the vortex, the ground looked as if it almost as it started to freeze, and become more icy, between the vortex and kazuo because they are close by, the range is small so kazuo can get away from the "Get away, NOW!" thorne shouts at kazuo as much loud as he could so kazuo can get away from the range as soon as possible so the vortex can get only hit by the spikes of ice. Ooc: since the ice spikes will appear, it is up to you to describe the ice spikes appearing on the ground, since the only thing I will tell you to do, also please spefepic any damaged parts that the vortex will have.
"Huh...!?" [Suddenly Thorne was attacking him for no apparent reason. Instead of actually getting through the door, he would step out of the way and get behind Thorne. Kazuo was extremely confused, but then he looked at his own new sword and then at Thorne and the place he attacked...] "W-Wait, Thorne! That vortex was something I created! It's part of my abilities! Chill!" [If Thorne were to look now, then it would be clear that not only was the vortex gone, but he had attacked the air itself with his spikes. Kazuo would then place a hand on poor Thorne's shoulder.] "...Look, pay close attention to what I'm doing." [Kazuo would take a deep breath and would then extend his left hand. A void vortex would appear above it and release a blade of the same length as the first one he had pulled. After this is done, the vortex disappears.] "See? I'm the one using them. Think of them as... wormholes that lets me access my stuff." [Indeed, both his 1st and 3rd Imaginary Numbers allowed him to materialize objects, but he wasn't exactly pulling them from somewhere, but rather, he was creating them on the spot. Kazuo believes his explanation should be enough.] "Let's just... get through the door, okay? Follow my lead here."
"There goes that name again. Kazuo, is there some other club member you didn't tell any of us about? Hmmm...maybe they came before you set up the posters? What a diligent classmate!" {The girl says, concocting her own theories as to why the club leader keeps mentioning another person that isn't currently present. Or at least wasn't, until the one that was mentioned decided to show up again.} "Tsk tsk tsk, wow you have so little faith in the people that are a part of your club. Well, even if this girl's powerless, you have intelligent friends like Thorne who can shoot their own powers at everything that so much as looks a small percentile dangerous. Besides, knowing you, we all might just be overreacting and excessively preparing for an extremely small little storm." {Sana says through Malloryn, taking out a bottle of perfume out of nowhere and spraying it on her in a refined manner, almost as if she was impersonating the girl she took over. With a little grin and a snicker, Malloryn gets her senses back, being confused but ready to proceed forward not being aware of the perfume in the air around her.} "...what happened again?...er, yes. Let's move on."
"wait, that was yours?" thorne felt discouraged, he closed his book, he felt ashamed to himself again, all he thought is how stupid he is right now, like, what was he doing, was he actually helping from the beginning? He felt as if he is useless again... "then... Just tell me when there's an enemy, but... We just have to be careful, okay?" he closed his tome again, he felt so pathetic at himself again, but he took a deep breath to try one last time to help everyone at least, but he still haven't gotten himself better after the he fought fushi, and this now... You could tell that he'll lost faith of himself and can't protect himself... Of course he is always with his brother, when his brother is around, he can be fond of himself... But he isn't now... No what am I thinking, I'm here just to be useful to others so I can't be any stepping stone to my brother, this is what he is thinking right now... He has to at least to do one useful things for the others.... That does remind him "um... I'm sorry... Again, I may be not useful, but one more time! I may be a stepping stone to you but just when there's something just... Let me help you..." he said that to kazuo and mall... He is unsure of how will they react... First fushi is missing... And also kazou has some sort of abilities... Wait could it be that kazou a hero from another world or something? "um... Kazuo... May I have a question... Are you a hero who is chained in a game called compass? If you are confused by it please ignore it" he asked that, given the abilities he has... Maybe he is a 'hero character' like Thorne and his brother too. Ooc: I'm done, I'll ask ooc before I would even act what I would do I'm just not doing any good job after coming back, and I'm sorry if I'm horrible at it.
Warily stepping down the stairs, she tightly clutches her conspicuous bag, her eyes darting around, waiting for their target spirit to make a move. This would immediately prove challenging given she couldn't even see her own students anymore, her voice starting to become more distressed because of this. "Apollo-kun? Hikari-chan? Where are you? Don't move far! I can't even see a foot in front of me, and the last thing I want is for you to get hurt from being separated." Cursing under her breath, she chose to remain still but alert, ready to counter any oncoming offense.
The divine relic shaped like a baseball bat would appear in Hikari's hands again, as she goes still and focuses on... Well she can't see anything. But she's hoping she can hear things or maybe smell them if needed. Fighting without eye sight sounds tricky if worst comes to worst, but not impossible to manage. Maybe. "I'm... Over here! Hopefully everyone can even hear what I'm saying, but I shouldn't be too far. I think!" Frankly she wouldn't be shocked if the thing is making it impossible to hear each other too. But for now there's little to do besides staying alert and wary as best she can.
Fushi warily raises his pipe and swivels his head frequently. He silently walks through the woods without much direction. Hoping that he bumps against someone along the way.

[Apollo would be successful in making the field clearer, allowing the moonlight to shine down on him and the other two; the logs hit the ground but they make no sound. In this moment, the three of them can see clearly they are but a few feet away from one another.] "HEE HEE HEE!! This is a game!! And you don't get to break the rules!! HEE HEE HEE!! But it's still funny how you try to act like a...!! TEE... BEE... person!!" [The trees around them move violently and hit one another; the way they bend is unnatural, looking more like fingers.] "Don't try too hard!! HEE HEE HEE!!" [And just like that, the entire area was dark again. All the trees were back, but the air had gotten heavier. Something slithers past Apollo's legs. A branch breaks behind Hikari, soon followed by the sound of footsteps; the one approaching from behind was trying to keep quiet but couldn't even hide their mumbling: "Be...ful...kill...one...die". Finally, a slimy "something" quickly coils around Emi's left leg, making its way up, pressing tightly. She can feel its tip being pointy and bendy...and tapping on her leg as it keep moving up.]
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn - Thorne =
[Fushi catches Apollo, Hikari and Emi standing under the moonlight for a moment before trees suddenly surround them, once again being hidden by the night. Soon after Thorne, Malloryn and Kazuo would walk in, they would also find their way back completely gone while also being unable to see much, were it not for the light of Kazuo's phone. They can hear the distant voices that may or may not belong to the others, but also feel the ground shake. It's the sound of heavy footsteps approaching, making the trees do a horrible sound, as it seemed like whatever was getting near was also breaking the logs. As it becomes heavier, birds caw, the light of the group revealing tree branches slowly approaching them from above, ready to restrain them.]
[Kazuo would keep his phone's light focused above, looking at the branches slowly advance, looking to do who knows what.] "U-Uh... to answer your question Thorne, I have no idea what you're talking about. I-I think I'm just some guy, born somewhere, at a certain point." [Kazuo would try to look around but it wasn't like that would help now. He was getting nervous at the entire situation.] "Geez, what the hell is up with me right now...? It's not like it isn't anything I couldn't deal with on my own...!" [Trying to back away, he would trip on his own feet and fall to the ground, the phone falling too and its light pointing up, now barely illuminating the nearby area for the trio.] "Maybe cut down the trees...? I have no idea if that would help..."
The Solar flips around in a burst of speed, her weapon shining with divine power as it flies with expert grace towards the source of the sound. Aimed low enough that it would with any luck slam into the source of the sound's chest with incredible power behind the blow, there's an impossible skill in the way her bat moves as well. Faster and more accurate than any human should be able to reach in general, besides that and the aura of deadly power around her weapon though, there's nothing too strange about it. Just skill taken to absurd reaches. "Come on then, if you wanna kill me I'm gonna make you work for it as much as I can... Wouldn't be much of a game if nobody else was playing, right?" She casually voices with a slightly curious tone, still not even entirely sure of the 'rules'. Let alone how to end the game.
Ooc: does that mean we're surrounded by the tree branches?
(edited by Thorne-yuriev)
OOC: Surrounded and they keep approaching the group, yes
"I see, sorry about asking that" after he asked kazuo, thorne reached to a conclusion that he isn't, but since this is the first time he is in a weird world, and alone without his brother or anyone he knows at that world, thorne holds his breath, trying to forget all the nonsense he thought about himself first, because the first priority is to make sure everyone is safe first. After the earthquake and those voices from far away, the sounds of the heavy footsteps, he begins to be cautious and embracing his tome strictly but trying to think if there was an innocent person or a foe; he doesn't want to make the same mistake for the third time. "woah!" thorne quickly took off by surprise, he opened his tome but he rememberd that he can't make a big barrier over for now he also doesn't want to make any mistake so he thought  he'll try to ask everyone to gather around him first. "kazuo, and Miss!" he shouted and turned his face to the blue-eyed girl whoose name isn't known to him, "gather around me quick, I'll make a berrier!" He got close to mall and kazuo to make an icy berrier by raising his left hand around those two who are close to him, but it felt like it is a small triangled cottage made of glass, it is a bit chilly, and it is reflecting on outside, as of it is all surrounded by the tree branches,as if those tree branches trying strongly to break this berrier, this is as big as he can use, he then brought out something that looks like a card, he threw it at the air making the card bigger, a green card with a blond boy holding some cat merch on his hand picture flashes and disappeared, it made some sword and some shoe icon appear on both Thorne and kazuo around, it is like a ghost which they both cannot touch it, thorne went near mall, thorne didn't actually expect that kazuo can have those too, so he'll trust the rest upon kazuo then. "kazuo, this thing increases speed and strength, the berrier can't hold any longer since it's big, can I trust you with cutting those as fast as you can?, I'll make a small berrier for the miss to be protected while we cut them!" he made that proposal to kazuo, thorne this time looked serious like always, wanting to be dependable too, but trusts kazuo on cutting them, too.
"Cut down...protect...barrier?..." {The girl goes ahead and tries to figure out what everybody is saying amidst all the tree branches that decide to advance towards them. Though when she figures out, she stomps her foot on the ground as her voice takes on an annoyed tone.} "Ugh, are you all really that serious about my safety? They're just tree branches." {Malloryn sighs out, raising one arm and snaps her fingers. All around the barrier, a rain of circular buzzsaws fall onto the tree branches, seeming to latch onto the ground once they fall. Then, every saw moved forward, traveling around the vicinity to find wherever the actual trees are in hopes that only stumps would be left in their wake.} "Here I was thinking I could cruise right through this without expending any effort. The world truly is so cruel letting me think the principal's office would be all I'd have to do tonight. Fine, I guess I'll destroy nature with you two..."
"Looks like the show's just begun. Alright, guys, i've got a plan. It's rather simple. Just try to stay where you are!" With that being said, Apollo starts running up the bark of the nearest tree until he reaches a branch, grabbing it with his right hand and pulling himself up on top of it. He then jumps from branch to branch until he reaches the top, creating a large dark tendril from the highest reaching branch to lift himself high above the entire forest. He then smirks, crouching down and gently mocking the spirit. "You've really got bad taste in games. I'm bored out of my mind right now."
Sensing something crawling up her leg, the pale haired woman struck a stiff, menacing scowl, ruthlessly stomping on its base and reaching down to tug at the tip, using her unusual strength to tear the pointy limb off, or at least try. "Oh, disgusting!! What the hell is this thing!? Spirit, if you value this prehensile... thing, I'd strongly advise surrendering." Despite the risk in going straight for a potentially sharp-tipped limb, she was fairly laissez faire about trying to sever the thing with just brute force.

[Hikari is quick to attacking, her own powers illuminating the area momentarily, long enough to realize that Emi not only had her entire leg coiled by branches making their way up her body, but also that they were completely surrounded by many of those, quickly closing in and looking to restrict their movement. The grass the branches slither through becomes wet, and those above keep dropping. Finally, she can also see the person she just attacked. It was Kazuo. The impact was hard enough to completely shatter his chest, making a loud cracking, gurgling noise. The young man immediately falls to the ground, twitching and coughing blood before plummeting to the ground. His eyes remain open, in shock, until his body gives out.] "HEE HEE HEE!! There are many people playing!! You want to win so much you would hurt your friends!? HEE HEE HEE!!" [Apollo would be successful in getting out of the forest and standing high above it. Moonlight would at least shine down on him and also the rest of the forest. From his position, he realizes he can no longr tell if there's anyone still below, almost like they didn't exist to begin with. From above, he can see small gaps in each of the corners of the yard with a singular tree standing above, making a total of 4; north-east, northwest, south-west and south-east. Emi would also be able to tell that which was moving up her leg was as singular tree branch, and it being broken with a single stomp, the top would do nothing. However, it felt soft to the touch, despite the looks of it. Soon after doing this, she would easily realize even more were approaching, from behind her and below.] Anyone standing above the trees cannot talk to, hear, or see anyone still inside the forest. The same goes for those in the forest in regards to those above it.
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn - Thorne =
[Not much has changed for them, the branches they have seen due to Hikari's momentary light are seemingly avoiding him, almost afraid. Even if they make contact, the branches twitch and then quickly return to their source. For Fushi, it should be obvious now, that the branches are not coming from the trees at all, they are connected to a singular source somewhere else.] "HEE HEE HEE!! You guys have interesting powers, like superpowers!! You are like superheroes in Tee Bee!!" [Thorne's ice barrier is successful in keeping the approaching branches away from the group, keeping them safe for the time being as he continues to buff the group, which is then quickly followed by Malloryn summoning the circular buzzsaws’ all around, easily cutting the branches that were near them but also those incoming. One thing was clear, they were not coming from the trees around them, but from somewhere else; the east, although nothing more is clear about this.] "AWWW!! That's not fair!! HEE HEE HEE!! You got me!!" [The voice exclaims with joy. Malloryn's movement did far more than just keep them safe for the moment.]
[Kazuo would quickly grab his phone and use the light to look everywhere else while being covered by Thorne's barrier. Then his next power came, and he was confused at first. It was all so videogame-y, but he wasn't going to complain. It was only a matter of time before something like this came up.] "I got you, but I don't think I'll need to do much right now..." [He says as the buzzsaw cut through all the branches.] "It should come in handy soon anyways, thank you Thorne!" [Kazuo looks around, but proves to be useless. He closes his eyes and instead tries to feel the area. Strangely enough, he is able to pick something up. He only tried it out of a weird idea he had but then...] "I can... feel something. It's weird but, I know whatever is causing this is near-by. That much is obvious but... it's like it resonates with me." [He tries to concentrate further, slowly being able to map out the surrounding area, merely by taking in the demonic power.] "This place reeks of demon. If you give me some time, I can take you to whoever is doing this... scratch that, I can feel an exit too, and the others...! I know their general area...! I don't get it but I'm getting somewhere." [The only person he couldn't feel was Apollo, he just knew he was there for a moment and then was gone.] "What should I focus on though...? Should we meet the others first, go deal with the demon or... I don't feel like escaping but I can take you guys there if anything..."
Tilting her head in brief confusion as she looks at the soft branch, she tosses it aside, not questioning the matter considering the apparent threat coming towards her group. "Shit! Hikari-chan! Stay behind me if you can!" She lifted her massive bag and gripped the base, raising it above her head as she took a defensive stance briefly before letting loose a powerful, heavy horizontal swing, trying to use the weight of whatever was in the massive bag along with her own force to destroy as many of the branches as she could. "C'mon, keep 'em coming! This is easier than the batting cages, step it up!!"
"alright, let's go---" as soon as the barrier was about to be melted which is soon followed up by malloryn summoning her chainsaw and breaking up all the tree branches, including his barrier, which it made his left hand palalyzed a short after, then recovering up in a bunch of seconds, thorne felt relived for breaking up all the chainsaw, at a moment, the icons also appeared to malloryn for a short while after the icons for all three flashing away, then the card flashes in in the front of Thorne, the card is a bit darker with the seconds counting on it, '9.78 sec. left', he grabs the card and put it away for now, at first kazuo had the worth to have the buffs, and now the miss, thinking about that, thorne reached to two conclusion either these two are actually heroes of their own world, or there's something that made them have those which is he is unsure of why is that since the miss was able to receive the buff recently. Right now, all he can do is help them and support them and forget the fact he is useless without his brother. After hearing what kazuo had to say about the precense of others, 'demons', thorne gets what he said and now when he thinks about it, what were the sounds that they heard just now? "those sounds that we heard just now... Did it make those precense of the demon appear?" he tried to guess about that, the voice of someone's foorsteps, and that ghost voice, or he should say the demon's voice for now, then the tree branches that was out of nowhere, and this forest that is not part of this building he saw, it is all connected to one thing, the demon of this world that kazuo is facing as he was thinking about it. "for now, I'll try to find fushi somewhere with this... Errr... Which one was it...?" he opened his tome again as he was speaking he flips the pages to find the word 'искатель', "ah! There it is!", as he founds the word in the 65th page, he touches it as soon as 20 icy butterflies speared torwads Thorne, suddenly a small feather-y wings of ice grows on his back, in which Thorne did notice it, but ignores it because his ultimate ability would come soon if he uses his spells too much, finally he brought and used a blue UR card in which it has Thorne himself sitting of a garden with many flowers and some of them are icy flowers and an icy butterfly on his hand picture (ooc: it is hard to describe cards here lol) flashes away, and gave a sparkle on all of the butterflies, the icy butterflies went on their own ways to randomly find fushi, once fushi or anyone touches one of these butterflies, he would be telepoted to where Thorne's precense is and healed if he had a rough battle as the card described to, as whether fushi will touch it or not, it is up to fushi herself, then the butterflies went away speerated as one of them will find fush eveantully, or any human being at least. "um... About these... This may help us find fushi herself" he explains what this do and what did he do "for now... Let's go ahead, it is up to fushi herself to touch one of the butterflies" after what he, he started to think if there are anyone else besides the demons, or any human beiggs in this place. "um, kazuo, miss, are there anyone else of this building beside you three?" he said that as he only met kazuo, malloryn in which he doesn't know her name yet, and fushi.
(edited by Thorne-yuriev)
OOC: Just a small update in regards to the butterflies and where they go. [The butterflies would scatter around the area and go in random directions. Indeed, one of them finds its way to Fushi, but one more finds its way towards Hikari and Emi, who are nearby. The rest of the butterflies instead end up at random points all over the forest.]
Food! Fushi Immediately captures the ice butterfly in his nimble hands and shoves it into his mouth. He tastes frost on his tongue as he instantaneously teleports to where Throne is. Upon arrival he spits the butterfly out since it tastes pretty disgusting. Worst food. He tries to wipe his tongue with his arm to get the taste of butterfly out.
{Malloryn smirks to herself as she singlehandedly took out the tree branches. Though it wasn't that big of a deal either way, it was still nice to see your own powers in full action. What made it more satisfying was the voice that chose to talk out loud, which makes her roll her eyes at the sound.} "Ah, there were others with us? Kazuo, were you with those people before all of us met?" {Of course being part of the occult club, she herself tries to still keep up an act, automatically assuming but not mentioning that these other people are a part of the occult club. Either way, she can vent out her frustrations with a dainty voice and a smile as Kazuo tries to suggest what they all should do.} "Well, cutting those branches were slightly satisfying, so I don't feel like leaving anymore. This fun little adventure has become just a little bit annoying. It'd be nice to track down whoever's causing this nonsense and stomp them into the dirt like the peasant they are...no offense though."
Apollo would hold his hand up to the sky and create four moons the size of basketballs and blast them into the air, each one arching in a path that lands in each gap. One noticable effect is that they reflected the moonlight and shone equally as bright. They were also tied directly to Apollo's power, serving as satelites to enhance his senses and spread the moonlight. He then drops down through the leaves of the trees, landing on his feet and not bothering to check his surroundings before sighing and dropping his head to the side. "That should help things a bit. A shame I couldn't see more up there."
Hikari curses loudly, that's bad. Real bad. She can't do much for now if that's the real Kazuo though, and instead focuses upon seeing what's really there regardless of what the enemy wants. The light coming from her blazes with the colors of a rising dawn, and goes stronger as her partly divine nature focuses upon trying to get past any illusions that may exist. No sure shot it'll work though, and with that said she would indeed try to get behind Emi with the magical bat in hand. Hoping to avoid striking anyone else she doesn't actually intend to... "That's not true! If I'da known who it was, I wouldn't have done that dammit! And yeah Sensei, I'll try and cover you..."
= Apollo =
[However, Apollo is unable to get back down. Walking on top of the trees, its leaves and even the air in between feels more like proper floor. The 4 gaps in each corner of the forest remain open, and his moons remain in place. Finally, the whole atmosphere around him feels different, like he just existed a cramped classroom and went straight to the outside. The voice and the demonic presence would become faint, but stronger near the corners.]
= Hikari - Emi =
"HEE HEE HEE!! You killed your friend~! You killed your friend~!" [An ice butterfly floats near Hikari and Emi; they know it does not belong to the demon or "this world" so to say. It belonged to another human trapped like them, though, they didn't know what it would do if they made contact. Regardless, Hikari's power illuminates the area and "Kazuo's" corpse disappears alongside the shadows. The trees twitch for a moment, like they almost disappeared, but not much else happened. However, through this, she realized the branches are not coming from the trees, from somewhere to their south-east, very much near them too. At the same time, Emi has an easy time destroying the branches as they are just that, branches, unable to move any closer. After that singular attack, the very same begin to retreat towards the south-east. Somehow, the branches became terrified.]
= Fushi - Kazuo - Malloryn - Thorne =
[Fushi does indeed make it back to the group thanks to Thorne's icy butterfly. Furthermore, Kazuo is able to pinpoint the location of the demon, this one being to their south-east, not too far either. At the same time, he notices both Emi and Hikari are in the area.] "HEE HEE HEE!! You can't fi~nd me!!" [The trees vibrate as the voice laughs at them. Soon after, the branches are back and this time they are approaching quickly, looking to impale them with their pointy ends or strike them from all over the place, more numerous and quicker. Although, they don’t seem too strong.]
"Alright, I got them now. We need to head south-east from he-" [He is startled by Fushi appearing thanks to Thorne's power. Kazuo has to take a deep breath as he directs his own light towards the place they must go.] "I'll lead the way, let's go get this over with!" [He didn't want to rusk using any of his Chimera here, because space is far too limited. Instead, he closes his eyes and drops the blade he had before, and holds his phone on his left hand.] "Imaginary 6.0 - Purgatorio!" [A heavy manacle without a chain appears on his right wrist, and then his hand is covered by a metallic glove with claws for fingers, which, although are sharp and look more like knives, he can bend like they were normal fingers. Finally, a long blade pointing up would appear, going from his wrist and all the way from his arm to the shoulder; a reverse arm blade, looking like a katana in shape, but heavy enough to need two hands to even move it a bit from the looks of it. Regardless. Kazuo is not affected, moving his arm like nothing.] "I love this, it's the only thing I have for this kind of situation!" [The moment he activates this power, the rest of the group can feel that his "Sleeping Glove" had a similar feel to the one the demon had while speaking and using the branches. Regardless, Kazuo guides the group, cutting through the branches directly in front of him with his claws and reverse blade.]
After fushi appears, thorne seemed to be relieved that he found fushi, and the card flashed back the same thing but it had '19.77 sec left'. "she takes it as if this butterfly is a food?" eager enough to know if this world takes butterflies as their food or anything, he picked up his icy butterfly that fushi spilled, soon enough he felt the icy butterfly telling him in a silent voice that there are 2 people... Being in a danger, thorne is shocked actually... that there 2 people who are also cutting the tree branches that they are attacking them in South-East, he took that as if they are in danger before they destroyed the tree branches. "there are 2 people in south-east----!" but as the tree branches appear, he used the green card as it flashes again, the same sword and shoe icon appear to fushi too, in his tome, he touched Шипы which it was at the same page as искатель, he summoned each 7 spikes to cutting those tree branches, after breaking he summons 7 spikes again fast to cut those the tree branches, again, and again, then fast and strong. With each spikes he summoned, the icy wings starts to grow, and changed shape to a butterfly-like wings, as for that, thorne started to feel more cold, when he breaths, some fogs stars to breath around his mouth just like how you breath with a cold winter, but he resists the cold because he used to stay in many cold places He just hopes to finish this as soon as possible because the two's life may be in danger too.
(edited by Thorne-yuriev)
"I beg to differ, disembodied voice." {She snaps her fingers once to get Fushi's attention, thinking it a bit sad that they ate the butterfly. The girl gestures to Fushi with a grin, letting them know there's more fun up ahead.} "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get to them." {Behind Thorne and Kazuo, she runs and follows behind, letting them do most of the work clearing a path for the two. At the same time, her snap from before made swinging guillotines appear out of thin air, hopefully guaranteeing that the branches from the sides won't be a problem as they'd be cut by one motion of the swinging blades that follow her.}
Seeing the branches back off, she couldn’t help but become curious, taking a step forward to see if their terror persists. She quickly shifts her attention to the butterfly, reaching out towards it but not directly touching it. “A... butterfly? Here of all places? This must be a sign of something! I think this is our solution Hikari-chan!” She reached out to touch the butterfly now, hoping something would happen that would clear the trees and disperse the shade that loomed over them.
Having no other option, Apollo heads towards the southwest gap and jumps down into it like he tried earlier. He then scans the surrounding area, the burden of darkness aliviated from the natural satelites' presence.
= Hikari - Emi =
[Emi touches the butterfly, and before she knows it, she's displaced from where she is... for about a few feet, as she catches the light of a phone and then a group young students rushing through.]
= Everyone =
[As the general group approaches the source of the branches and fend them all off, the number of those constantly increases, becoming faster and more violent in their movements, even managing to go through the trees around them. However, before they can overwhelm them, they stop as they reach the corner where a singular tree is separated from the rest, illuminated by the moon above, clear as day to see too that it was the place where they all gathered in the first place.] "HEE HEE HEE!! NOW THE FUN CAN BEGIN!! HEE HEE HEE!! NOW THAT YOU...!!" [The tree grows in size as the rest of the forest quickly has its very roots be pulled towards the bizarre and massive plant, making it gain size quickly and become humanoid. It would stand above them and look down, surpassing in height the very school they attend to. As it seems to prepare to attack, the hits the ground far away from all the people, and then...] "...found me!! That was really fun!! HEE HEE HEE!!" [In a single second, the entire yard is completely back to normal. Not only was it all back in their rightful place, but any sign of tiredness they felt in any way was gone too, as if they had never done anything at all; in fact, it didn't even feel like they ever left the yard to begin with. Magical dust remains on the grass they stand on, and the singular tree they are facing is the one Kazuo was sitting next to when it all began. It would shake for a moment before a floating green orb escapes the trunk.] ???: "Hee hee~! That was really fun, you guys! I learned some things I didn't even know too!" [The small green orb would carelessly float around them and would then gain a humanoid shape, with a really flat green body, somewhat elongated which made it look like a paper cut-out. Its head featured three red spirals drawn and its torso would similarly have two more.] Kodomo: "I'm Jirae Kodama!! But you can call me Kodomo!! I've been living in this tree for a few months, but never get to do anything during the day, and then there's no one at night when I can do things~!! I'm so glad you guys stayed here, I was really bored!!" [Kodomo makes a quick flip while floating, giggling to itself with its child-like voice. The air around them becomes much lighter.]
As Thorne didn't understand what's going on, thorne thought that kodomo which was the tree that attacked them, he understood those what he meant by that, and the way he talked, he could relate it to granet when he is an alone wolf sealed away by the academy he is in, and just wanting to go away walking around freely, the same thing with kodomo in which he would never do anything or walk or anything, so it was understandable for Thorne a little, he took an exhale with the cold steam coming out of his mouth, his icy butterfly wings are still there and he still feels cold but he is used to it always. "you really remind me of someone--" thorne chuckled peacefully for a little, gasping now because he only realized now that what kodomo have done to the two who felt their precense before. "um... What about the two you attacked to before us just now, you... Didn't hurt them, right?" thorne is nervous so much to the point he doesn't realize that someone of these two is near him.
"Told you so, Kazzie. This was amazing to watch, so I'll let the situation speak for itself. Not even worth insults, you know? But no really, nice job on looking stupid once again, I shall take my leave for realsies this time." {Sana's voice says in Kazuo's head in an incredibly mocking way, treating him like a child that thinks to have won something only for everyone to be incredibly sad and awkward about not telling him until the last second. An incredibly specific and insulting way for Kazuo's iq points to look like they're in the negatives, which is just what Sana was waiting for.} "Y-you mean that...this was all just the work of some green orb?..." {The girl seems to be on the verge of exploding, but the emotion of what she'd explod of was unreadable. However, when Malloryn's face goes back to "normal", she reverts back to a slightly airheaded tone, speaking with curiosity as she examines the demon next to Kazuo.} "That's so intriguing! Amazing even! Oh, if this is what I've encountered just now in Japan, I cannot wait to increase my knowledge further of your culture, Kazuo! Your homeland is very interesting!"
The young Solar would stare over at Kodomo curiously, this is... A thing, it's going on for sure. But she can't say she's too shocked by it, seems like some kinda weird spirit who... Just wanted to have fun, hopefully? "Hehe..." Hikari pauses for a moment, trying to get a better look at the thing. If nobody's actually hurt then its all fine from her viewpoint, big if there though. "So you weren't actually even trying to hurt anybody huh? Jeez, had me worried for a bit there. Everybody okay?" At least of those here, finding out if they were harmed shouldn't be hard right? Assuming it seems fine though she'd just chuckle a bit and smile at the demon slightly. "Well, that was a bit worrying there sometimes. But I guess as long as you really weren't gonna hurt anyone, it was kinda fun too." The baseball bat covered in divine power hasn't gone away yet though, she isn't so careless as to actually assume it's totally harmless.
As the spirit grew in size she was prepared to fight, taking a deep breath and sighing, hesitating to even open her massive shinai bag out of fear for what would inevitably happen afterwards. She took a single step forward, ready to burst into combat... until the spirit became a green orb and every single thing that was displaced returned to normal. She couldn't help but blink at how spontaneously quaint everything had become after all that had happened. "Jirae Kodama? You're a kodama! To think that's what we'd been dealing with this entire time! Hah! I almost feel stupid for even getting worked up in the first place. I dunno why a spirit living in a tree didn't clue me in earlier. The pale haired woman plops herself down and starts laughing uncontrollably, leaning back and kicking her legs about in a child-like manner. "You must've worked hard to build all this up for us! I'm impressed, quite impressed. Well, assuming you didn't catch us saying it earlier, we're the occult club! And now that we know you exist, maybe you can visit us during the day so you aren't so bored. How's that sound?" She briefly extended a hand outward before realizing the spirit probably can't shake it, instead switching to a thumbs up and a friendly grin.
Thorne noticed that the two's here too, so he had nothing to do anymore, and he is relieved, as he thought what he should do next, since he lost his brother for a while and it'll take long to find the 5 portal keys scattered in this world to try to go to another world, he thought about exploring this world for a little bit longer, since he felt that this might be the same world as his friend is in or it is a world where that boy, kazuo is actually the hero of this world or not, just to make sure... But what he had to make interest the most is how is this place is actually built like, it is just like a normal building stuck around other buildings on outside but has a big empty space in inside, if he had to compare it to the blue academy, it was a building surrounded with a snow, yet so big, and it is just like that. "um... Kodomo... Did you also make this building big despite being surrounded by other buildings?" his eyes shines so brightly, he was fired up to look around this place, to the point he forgot it was cold, as his wings melt away and he closes his tome to embrace it too.
"A... A Kodama did all this....? That doesn't sound right..." [Kazuo was extremely confused at the current state of affairs as the others themselves react. At Hikari's question, Kazuo nods. He only got hit by Malloryn as Sana, and even then, that wasn't much. Jirae Kodama speaks again.] Kodomo: "These were all pranks, praaaaanks! I heard you all talk about a kid committing suicide and staying late, hee hee hee! I wanted to have some fun with hide n' seek!!" [It makes a quick flip in the air and giggles to itself, pressing its arms against where its mouth may or may not be.] Kodomo: "No Thorne guy! This is a school, schooooool! It's a big place where kids study at but!" [Jirae Kodama thinks.] Kodomo: "Hmmm... I don't understand much else..." [As if Emi's voice had failed to reach its small head at first, it floats around happily at the suggestion.] Kodomo: "All this was really easy! Back home I couldn't really do any of that but ever since I woke up in this school it's been easy to play!! Hee hee hee!! I want to be around you guys more now! All of you of this... occult club thingie! I even thought you guys were demons!" [Jirae Kodama would then float closer to Kazuo's face, show moves its head back in surprise as the small demon suddenly takes an interest in him and his right hand. Kazuo would quickly deactivate his Sleeping Glove, worried he may end up hurting the small being. Once he does this, any other demonic energy the group felt would be gone, leaving nothing but Kodama's.] Kodomo: "It was you! You felt like a strong demon before! What is your race! Hee hee hee! Are you using magic to change your appearance? They talk about that a lot back home!" [Kazuo shakes his head, confused.] "Me? No, I'm a human...? It must've been my powers." [The young man rubs the back of his head after being accused. Jirae Kodama takes distance again after this and sticks to the tree he lived in.] Kodomo: "Aaaaah~! You're right, Mister! I don't feel it anymore!" [Kazuo would quickly check his own phone; it was past 11 pm already.]
"school...? But if you said where people learn things then this is an academy in which it is called 'school'?" thorne turned his curious face down still being interested about anything in this, this 'school' maybe also taught people how to use some supernatural powers maybe? He is still thinking about this whateverr picks his interest to. "do they also teach them some abilities like kazuo and the miss, I wonder... What kind of cultural impacts does this academy teach too...?" still curious, thorne talked to himself about this, yeah, he has to stay here to see how students and academy like is in this school, he decided to look for a shelter to sleep for the time being. Hearing all the conversation all the conversation between kodomo and kazuo, it lifted his interest to this subject, maybe kazuo is really the hero of this world, he decided not to tell him about why is he in this world for the time being to make sure that he really sees things that Thorne and his brother does too... As kodoma disappears and kazuo looking at his video game handheld he decided to look what is he looking at, he also saw the time that the screen was showing as 11 o'clock or he should say 11 pm. "it is that late already?" thorne still small as he is, he was able to look at the video game handheld screen, he didn't notice the timeflow already when he arrived. "well, at least nothing bad happened today! " thorne felt relieved, as he smiled warmly too, trying to cheer up to everyone too.
Apollo tenses up, taking a stern tone at the demon as he lectures it. "Kodomo, is it? Well, you have some nerve-" The idea of a demon ally then struck him, causing him to switch to a more welcoming attitude. "Well, if that's the case, then... Alright, i'll accept you as an ally. However, first you must provide me with some information, if you can. You see, there's a notable demon by the name of Tyrant Astaroth who leads a rather prominent faction. What can you tell me about him?" His demeanor would now resemble the one he took when first meeting Kazuo. In his hasty endeavors he had not by now noticed the time.
{The girl listens to it's name intently. Though she might have a feeling where it actually came from, that's not what a foreigner would probably think about as of now. It'd be nice to know for sure but the info cannot come from her.} "Oh, Kodomo?...That's great!...No offense but, Kazuo, what are those again?" {Malloryn would take out some notes to jot down whatever he said, putting them in her purse before replying to the Kodomo that seems to be intent on joining them whenever they have meetings again. She smiles with an almost aloof tone present in her airy voice.} "Either way, the occult club welcomes you with open arms! The more the merrier, after all. Gee, I never would have thought there'd be communications with demons in Japan! What an interesting place..."
[Kazuo sighs after Thorne speaks. It was true, it was great nothing bad actually happened to them. But first, he needed to help the poor guy.] "Not exactly. Schools here are more centered around teaching young kids becoming adults about... uhm... economy, history, science, math, all that stuff. So that one day they may join the larger society as politicians, merchants, medics, and all sorts of stuff. It's never really about battle, let alone the abilities we have. They are... something of a secret, for the most part." [He rubs the back of his head as he explains that last part. It's true that his own life was now all weird and full of the supernatural, but the world at large wasn't exactly aware of it all. That said, Malloryn also needed some help.] "That goes to demons too. It's actually... pretty uncommon for them to show up at all, especially so clearly, and even more rare is for them to have such power when they aren't known for it. For example, this Kodama, of the Jirae race... they are best known as mischievous spirits of the forest without much power on their own... so for this one to be able to cast such powerful illusions is..." [He didn't know what just happened, but he could ask later. Kodomo the Kodama would then pay attention to Apollo. It would giggle as he doesn't doubt about revealing information.] Kodomo: "Hee hee hee! Everyone knows Tyrant Astaroth! He is a really powerful Duke of the Demon World, an ally of Lord Lucifer! Hee hee hee! Nobody likes messing with him!" [It didn't seem like he had anything to add, and so Kazuo approached it again.] "Kodomo, were you summoned by a human into the school?" [The demon would float around as he thinks hard about this, coming up with nothing at all.] Kodomo: "There was no ritual circles anywhere when I realized where I was~! I was playing with my friends one day and then next thing I knew I was in this school! I was really scared so I hid inside this tree until everyone left, and next thing was me meeting you all!" [Kazuo takes a few steps back against to think this last piece of information.] "Without a ritual it's impossible for a demon to merely escape the Abyss, so how is he here...?"
Apollo grins, content with the information. "Ah, in that case, welcome to the team, Kodomo." He then glances at Kazuo with a glint of intrigue yet little concern. "Must mean that the barrier surrounding Tokyo is weakening, if I were to make a guess. Actually, the bounty I accepted may have something to do with it. Kazuo-chan, what do you say we hang out at the mall tommorrow after school and discuss it in greater detail, like normal teens do?" He looks out to the night sky, pondering it.
"Barrier? Ritual? I'm not sure what you're talking about, but if you need any help with it, I'm in! I'm your supervisor after all!" She glanced at her watch and let out a loud sigh. All the exhaustion was kicking in now that there was no immediate danger, and it was not kind to the poor woman. "UGH. I'd be in bed by this time usually. Let's not make a habit of this. If I have to stay up this late so regularly my hair's gonna whiten even more!" Her gaze followed Apollo's, staring up into the night sky pensively. What would I have done if this did lead to a fight? And what does it mean that Kodomo's here? Her thoughts were racing, trying to make sense of everything she'd heard in the last few minutes. "I could just open up the club room if you two need to talk! It'd probably be better in the long run to avoid talking about that stuff in public anyways. Who knows what kind of attention you'd garner from talking about devil circles and demon summoning in public!"
{The girl writes what Kazuo said in her notes, making sure to annotate them as well for more effect. Even if it may seem pointless in the long run, it’s much better to be safe then sorry.} “Powerful or not, it was still pretty fun. I even got a tad bit carried away myself...with only myself, not with what I had done.” {Malloryn glances away as she mentions the last part, giving only a smirk off to the side, almost wanting to laugh. She puts away her notes before peeking up at the mention of the club room opening up again.} “That being said, what is this abyss you speak of? If we have the time, I’d love to know more about this in the future. It’s very interesting that Japan dabbles into these things quite often.”
Apollo crosses his arms at Emi, closing his eyes as he muses over the suggestion. "I wouldn't worry about that, there are quite a few establishments dedicated to this sort of thing, so I know places where we won't have to risk unwanted attention." He loosens up, stretching his arms behind his back. "Besides, more demons may appear in the school overtime, and whatever's responsible might be working against us. But, really, the main reason why I suggested the mall was because I wanted some help with shopping, maybe some other time." He then sighs before glaring at Mal, slightly annoyed. "Please, don't take this lightly. It may be an interest to you, but to say we just dabble in it is misguided. For me, this isn't even a choice. If you wish to continue on this path, you'll find it most efficient to just devote yourself entirely to it."
"So you all do this in secret then... That's kind of interesting" he understood kazuo explation about this school, and anything related to it, it is like a normal academy but Thorne never got not interested in what those additional subjects like maths. As he heard the conversation, he still doesn't get what did they mean mostly, but what did he understand so far is that demons are trying to make a fight in this world or attack at innocent people too, especially if it is at this school then. Now that he mentioned it... "why do they target this school then?" thorne asked that, "is there any history behind those demons attacking this place then?" he was still confused, despite what kazuo said as if this is a normal school and their abilities hidden in public then there has to be a public hidden reason of why this school is their target.
[He would shrug at Thorne's question.] "No idea, maybe they picked this place at random. Kodomo did say he just appeared here..." [Kazuo would shake his head at Apollo's idea.] "No can do tomorrow or for the rest of the week. After school I'm going to help my mom with a few pieces of furniture she bought, and she sucks at... anything that isn't extremely fancy and expensive food or drinks. Also keep it at Kazuo, I'm not Kazuo-chan." [Kazuo huffs with both eyes closed as he crosses both arms.] "I have no idea what you mean with barrier, Apollo. Demons from the Abyss are only stopped by a lack of rituals and gates into our world; if anything, they are mostly drawn here due to the sheer concentration of power and people all over. Who knows, maybe Kodomo was just some weird case..." [Jirae Kodama had been dancing as the group speaks, going into the tree and then out for the fun of it.] "Uhm... Malloryn, to put it simply... the Abyss is this dimension where all types of demons and spirits exist, it's connected to time and space, but is not bound by their rules. What this means is that it transcends both space and time, and it's very possible for a past version of say...Kodomo to exist alongside it present self and its future self and other versions of itself to exist without an issue." [Kodomo nods happily before yawning.] Kodomo: "Yes! Hee hee hee! He got it! Are you sure you aren't a demon?" [Kazuo shakes his head, about to say more about the Abyss until his cellphone lights up with call; his ringtone being a somewhat somber guitar song. He answers and quickly puts it against his ear.] "Hey mom. I'm near the school still, with some friends. No no, it was because of a project but we finished already... Wait... are you serious...!? I mean it is your bar but... Huh? You sure? Well, if it's not an issue... I'll see you in a bit." [He would end the call and return his phone to his pocket before looking at everyone else.] "The bar is not opening tonight because my mom wants to watch a movie marathon on the TV, and she was in the area so... she's coming to pick me up in like five." [He would rub the back of his head, embarrassed by this. He would clear his throat and nod.] "I'll go wait in front of the school for now. We're done here anyways so... we can talk tomorrow between classes if we get the time. Hopefully, nothing went wrong tonight..." [Kodomo hides inside the tree as he speaks. It lights up with a faint green aura as he does. Kazuo starts walking towards the entrance.] Kodomo: "Hee hee~! Everything is back in place I'm sure! Except...! No, it's all back, I'm almost absolutely sure! Ah! Demon guy, bye bye...~!" [Kazuo waves without looking back.] "It's not Demon guy, it's Kazuo." [As Kodomo seemingly falls asleep, Kazuo stands outside of the school, under the street lights, waiting for his mother.]
Apollo waves Kazuo off, waiting until he's fully out of sight to snicker. "Man, that Kazuo guy sure is cold. Guess I just keep at it and maybe he'll open up eventually. Oh well, see you guys later." He then starts walking away from the school, waving his right hand once behind him before putting it down.
{The girl writes down the last bit of information before putting away the notepad and lightly laughing to herself, as well as another more high pitched giggle echoing from behind hers. Though she didn't know much about the boy, for some reason she didn't expect him to casually talk about his mother now of all times.} "That's alright, Kazuo. I can't wait to meet up again, there was so much more I wished to say. I wonder why I didn't...anyhow, farewell!" {Malloryn waves Kazuo goodbye, and a purple aura seemed to emanate from the girl faintly before it fades away, leaving as soon as it came. Having no way of immediate transportation and an embarrassing feeling wash over her from asking for the help of others, the girl sighs as she decides to just walk back to her home like a poor person.}
What a crazy day this has been, she'd wave at the other two as they leave and just sigh slightly. Rubbing the back of her head a bit as her weapon now finally vanishes to... Elsewhere, she'd stand alongside Kazuo for a moment before heading out. "Well, that was a madhouse huh? Glad to see that I didn't actually shatter your chest though, guess that little demon cooked up some illusion of it... If things like this are common, I guess its another thing I'll have to plan against." The young woman just shrugs a bit and goes quiet, Kazuo should be gone soon enough. And then she'll simply go back to what passes for home with her, joy. All told, madhouse or not this was frankly a better use of her time than staying around, and that's enough to make the Solar offer an honest grin on her face.
"bye you all!" thorne waves at kazuo, the miss, and the other one, also the other girl, after they all went away, he turned to look at the rest in which they haven't left. "you all... Are going too, right?" thorne asks to the people who doesn't know (emi, and fushi) unsure if he has to ask this. "I'm planning to stay here a bit longer to observe the school a bit longer, around what did kodomo say and that guy who seems religious said about the demons, they may target this school, is it against the this place's regulations for someone as 'weird' as me to wander at this place?" since thorne is thoughtful to maybe stay here at the night, asking them, he had another reason to stay here to maybe find a portal key around this school too, but he had to be wary of himself if he can't stay here, he should definitely find a shelter to stay by himself. Ooc: is fushi still following herself up?
(edited by Thorne-yuriev)
OOC: Fushi's writer is out on vacations so don't wait around too much [After a few minutes waiting in which everyone else left, Kazuo is left to think on his own. It didn't make sense for a Jirae Kodama to be this strong, and for him to be here at all was suspicious enough as it was. There was at least no doubt that Kodomo had been summoned into their world somehow.] "...Would it have to be a human who did it...? Was some kind of gate opened somewhere...?" [Kodomo must be sustaining itself on something somewhere, and unless it's getting a large supply of Magnetite, it should be impossible for him to remain in their world without it taking a toll on its own life. But if he had a large enough supply to be here for months, then it would be able to have such power... if so, then...] "Agh! This doesn't make any sense...! I just know something is off here...!" [He couldn't come up with anything right away, not on his own. He would still need to ask Kodomo about it later on, and maybe he would need to properly check around and investigate and that would take a lot of effort.] "But with the Occult Club... I... can ask for their help with this." [As he thinks out loud, a car stops right in front of him, the front door opening.] ???: "It's already late, Kazu-chan. You're going to catch something, and I won't be taking care of you." Kazuo: "Why are you so cold about it, Yuriko? You know you care about me." [Once Kazuo gets inside and closes the door, the woman with the same sharp eyes as him hits his arm.] Yuriko: "Mom, call me mom. Better yet, you should call me mother." Kazuo: "...I'll think about it." Yuriko: "My~ And you call me cold, the nerve." [As the car moves once again, this time with Kichijouji as its destination, both remain in silence as Kazuo keeps his eyes at the moon above, not yet full. His mother is the first to break the silence.] Yuriko: "You know... when you told me you had friends over the phone, I couldn't believe it. How long has it been that way?" Kazuo: "..." Yuriko: "Are they really your friends? Or was that just an excuse to hide that you have a girlfriend somewhere? You can do whatever you want, but make sure to use protec-" Kazuo: "Mom!" Yuriko: "Fufufu~ Now you're all flustered!" Kazuo: "Yes! They... they are my friends." [The woman smiles sincerely as Kazuo again focuses his gaze at the night sky.] Kazuo: "...They are nice."
- DAY END -
Apollo thinks the above post has a sembalance of cringe, but thinks nothing of it. Rather, he elects to arrive at the school earlier than anyone else, hanging out at the front and playing video games. "Ah yes, enslaved progression."
OOC: oh shit fam I forgot this existed, what did I miss lol
OOC: Entire arc, don't worry about it
OOC: aight, I’ll find a way to sneak in
