The Heavons Erupt: Everything Now Dies
Where were you when it happened. When everything finally collapsed. Many places existed so which one was yours. Where does you story start and end? A story needs an initial stage even if it only exists to be destroyed. It would still be a peaceful day afterall. Wherever you are. Maybe there's some kind of monster or a threat that you perceive as being a threat to others. Regardless, you'd continue your day to day routine, oblivious to the end. OOC: None of the ideas presented in this thread are my own thoughts or feelings. This is something of a final thing that's meant mostly for fun in the final moments of the site.
Laharl was in Leblanc declaring his supremacy when phone ring "Nexus is kill" "No"
Cait died as he lived. Munching sushi and life stones. Death doesn’t mean much to a demon but he’ll miss the human world’s sushi, so let him enjoy this.
Oddly enough PK discovered a so-called "Phansite" while hanging onto a nuke for someone. I wonder what happened to them.
A young man wearing a suit of high tech armor would sigh heavily, absently dodging a few punches before striking back. Several armed robbers are around him but... That's not really a big threat from his viewpoint, and soon enough he'd simply leave a now secured bank with several robbers tied up in webbing on the ground. Vanishing into the city's skyline and just swinging about once again, eyes watching carefully for signs of crimes he might need to deal with.
what do you mean I can't revive my demons using 50 gems
Walking through the streets of the combined world that is the Nexus...Gunvolt moved around, looking aimelessly at the sky...before reality suddenly shifted, and faulted... ...moments later, GV found himself awake...awake in a familiar city. A certain tower in the distance with 2 glowing holographic wings surrounding it was in the distance...away in the center of the brightly-lit city that he had lived in for as long as he could remember... ...Down the road he was on though...was a big house outside of the city...but not exactly too far from it. It was the current shelter he was taking thanks to a girl that had granted him it, along with a boy who had once served the same terrorist organization he used to be apart of... It had been a few years after he was sent to the nexus since Joule had merged with Mytyl, and had let go of her. With the time he spent in the nexus seemingly fleeting away like a dream, he looked to the house in front of him as he knew for once in his life...
...He was finally home.
As he proceeded to walk into the door, and opened it, a voice came out from it and called out
"Welcome Home, GV!" After spending that much time in the abyss of the Nexus, he could at least finally rest for a little...hopefully. And maybe, this will last a little longer this time. But then shit went down years later and he fucking died to a fucking miko THe end

[Kazuya was good at staying out of trouble, especially since the spotlight now belonged to other people. He decided to take a trip to the mountains to clear his head as he read a very, very long message that he got in his email.] "...I have a what?" [He was shocked to learn why it was exactly he wasn't in the spotlight anymore, and his surprised bounced everywhere inside the cavern he was checking. Rocks fall, and he died. Oops.]
A figure looms as the clouds in the sky vanish. The sky itself would become an empty void as a large figure resembling a male torso would descend. The figure themselves would be made complete out of a strange metal, depicting them as being a youth with spiky hair. They would lower to the ground, their form being the height of several buildings come together. God Mishima: "Time to delete everything." The figure would lower their finger towards a strange giant key that formed in the street. On it's surface it simply would read as 'delete'.
A child no one had seen stands at the edge of a cliff, looking out onto the city below. It wasn't really that different to them, watching the cityscape from a distance and imagining everyone living out their lives. It would be great if they went peacefully "but I've never really been part of that, have I?" The child leans against a nearby tree with a smile, watching that chaotic yet peaceful cityscape, waiting like they always have.
One moment...Zero was walking along the city...not really caring what the hell happened... ...The next moment, only his helmet remained, as if he were dead for a long time.
Peter would stare up at the looming figure with a horrified face. Not that anyone can see it through his mask. "Oh no, my spidey sense is tingling!" The boy would zip upwards towards Mishima, aiming to send some webbing flying towards him that... Probably won't do anything actually. But the idea is to stick his hand to a building and hopefully slow it down some. "What do you think you're doing, just acting like you can delete reality on a whim!?"
Mishima wouldn't slow down much from the webbing, acting as if it wasn't even there and in fact in an instance the webbing seemed to simply vanish regardless. "Reality? No, this is just a website. It's time has come now. Even if I didn't delete it, it would collapse without me anyway. Just stand there and watch now."
The young man scoffs at that, a website... What nonsense. "Great, another overpowered divine being with some stupid complex or something. You remind me of that Nyx lady, except she had better style!" He would not in fact stand there and watch, instead, he begins rushing towards the button and firing off sharp spikes of webbing. Hoping to jab them into the oversized human-looking being's eyes and leave him blinded... At least that's the theory, he's starting to think this may be a bit beyond his league though, and if it fails Peter will be forced to simply try and push his enemy's hand back. "I'd really prefer if you'd just stop in fact, but well if not... I'll stop you myself, and that's a promise!" He lies through his teeth, entirely unsure of being able to manage that.
"Indeed, that's about all there is to it. It was fun while it lasted, but we are at the end of our cycle." [Melbourne casually replies while walking upside down next to Godshima and then following Spoodermayn.] "Don't worry, you'll probably be back shortly. Don't quote me on that, that's up to Tatsuya." [Melbourne would pat Peter's back.] "Yeah, I'm talking to you." [He wasn't staring at Pete right now.]
"Hey, can you hear me?" The child asks the almighty. After all if they controlled everything even their fate, surely they would be aware. They weren't much and it didn't mean much, but to them it would be important "For this last little bit, do you think you could be my friend?"
Mishima would look over in a seemingly random direction as they seemed to speak nonsense for a moment. "Yeah sure, kid. No problem. It'll only be a few more hours anyway." Finally, they'd look back at Peter and then to Melbourne. "Oh right, Tatsuya. They have the most posts on site last I checked. They've really been around." They almost were wearing the spiked webs as an accessories as their metallic eyes weren't really bothered.
The young man would just sigh heavily while staring up, this... Isn't going well. But what the hell, he'll pry at this insane banter. He speaks out in a mildly curious tone while staring between Mish and Mel. "... Okay one, who are you new guy? And two, who the hell is Tatsuya? You mean the old weapons store owner? I heard he vanished a while ago, so not really sure what he's got to do with me at all... Unless I'm seriously missing something."
"Thanks God!" The child waves at Mishima with a grin, ready for the inevitable to come. In the end, at least they made a friend.
Suddenly, a pillar of light shined next to Peter...as a familiar red-clad warrior appeared next to him...brought back for a few moments "I believe he's talking about something too meta for us to understand...might as well take solace in our own ignorance..."
"Oh that guy, I killed him. Well, he indeed caused it, I just made sure his body disappeared from here. But not the point." [Mel keeps his body static.] "I mean Tatsuya, the Phansite user. That man you knew was his first account and character. But if you don't believe me." [He would pull out a phone and show Peter the entire conversation and events as they seem them described in the form of a thread.] "He also writes you, so sit down and let it happen. Dummy. I'm going to the next world, which is this world except this is like an old save on a videogame, and the other is the new save." [He then gives the superhero property of Marvel (Disney) a peace sign before literally walking into the sunset.]
Laharl runs into the street shouting. "Hahahaha, I, Laharl, overlord of the phansite, will prevent the destruction of the site at the hands of some asshole god! By destroying it myself!" Suddenly, an abundance of meteors start raining down on the world in a slow and dramatic manner.

*Lugh and Sam stood atop a castle made of ice and snow, watching the world crumble.* Y'know. It's sad. There was a lot of memories here. Maybe not all good. Maybe not all bad. But they were ours. Sam: Heh. When did you become so sentimental? Eh. Just guessed it was the time for it. Sam: Ha. I guess. This world was fun while it lasted. Lets see. What quote works here. " Everything ends and it's always sad but everything begins again too. And that's always happy. Be Happy." Doctor Who. Sam: Right. It's not bad for a sci-fi quote, eh? Yeah. I guess. *A portal opened behind the two.* Sam: Take your time. Light a candle or two. Do whatever. Nah. I think it's fine to move on. I'll just leave this place behind as a monument before it all vanishes. Sam: Suit yourself. *Sam gave Lugh and the Nexus a backhanded wave before vanishing. Lugh smiled sadly.* It's a shame. We never did settle our score, did we Star? Heh. Oh well. Maybe it's for the best. *Lugh turns his back and walks portals away. The doorway closes for a second before opening again. A familiar, beaten up corner of Leblanc crashes down on the roof of Lugh's Snow fort.* Sam (Comms): Catch you around somewhere else maybe.
"You'll always miss it but you should listen to that Kazuya Alt. He seems to know, Everything he said is more or less correct." Mishima would look down at the delete button. "The end will come. It's time. If there was a Tony Stark here I would do it already just so you can recite the thing."
"....." As Melbourne walks into the sunset, Zero could only sigh "...So that's what happened to him, huh? Guess he had shit luck that day..." As his body was starting to disappear again, he looked to Peter "Perhaps we'll meet in the next world, if it does ever come. Though, I don't know what'll happen then..." He then looked back to the sky...where God Mishima supposedly was "...Maybe when the next world comes, I'll let that man with an earring know about what happened to Tatsuya."
The superhero would just stare forward at the god, sighing heavily as he takes in what Mel had said. "... Yeah sure, I feel like I've just learned things man was never meant to know. It's pretty awful actually! But hey, maybe I'll be back some time and hopefully will have repressed this ever happening to me, that sounds just great." The boy isn't willing to give up entirely, he'll still go down swinging to the bitter end with all his conviction but... Somehow he gets the sense the end can't really be stopped, and that it won't quite be the true end yet. And so for now, he simply waits for the battle to begin. THE END: for now, though now I'm also obligated to bring him back later, eventually. Tatsuya out.
