Was SPOILER a good villain?
I think shido was a great villain , very representative of alot that is wrong with society and the obvious meaning of the game behind why the people were electing him . But what does everyone else think? Was he maybe too much in the background of the game ? Or was the story just too convenient for him to make a good villain. (sure yaldabaoth is our main behind the scenes antagonist but most of the game is about shido and his web of corruption)
I really liked how he was connected to the characters without it being over convenient and i just hated him, in a good way, he pissed me off and that fight was amazing
I love his fight and my goodness his music ....rivers in a desert wasn't it ? Best them in the game .....aww man I was disappointed with yaldabaoths theme.

He was definitely we'll made to be hated , he pretty much had no redeemable qualities and was the tho of person to crush people underfoot to seize control.

I just know I've heard some people think he was too built up like he wasn't that big of a deal. But I think he was ....using the metaverse on a political scale across the world he would have made quite the villain and far more villainous and dangerous than say adachi ever was.
I actually still like Adachi as a VILLAN more, i I is he wasn't as much of a bad guy or as hateable, however i think he was much more personal as a friend who has had a knife in your back the whole time. Though his fight was a bit underwhelming in the long run. Ps he is my favourite character
I agree, I was a pretty cool villain. I mean, who else has 5 forms?
And your bgm, did you prepare that specially sir
That wasn't what I meant by comparing the two though , I love adachi, his motives , his character , and etc. I was just saying that shido was more of a danger is all , adachi was just a serial killer at the end of the day killing people and not really a worldwide threat. But right from the start even without yaldabaoth , shido would have been a worldwide threat . But yeah adachi is just a really well built character and his social link just sweetens it because you learn of his more ...judgemental and raw nature. It hints and points that he has this maladaptive personality which is what leads him to killing in the first place . His was easily the best social link in the game cause of it too.

I kinda wish akechi was similar in that it would give out some of his deeply held emotion (along with being optional and changing minor dialogue at the end like adachi would have been nice )
And yeah .....wasn't it like 6 phases over 5 forms ? Or something like that, was crazy lol.

Even the last boss didn't get that treatment
Oh yeah i agree, also i think Shido should have been the end boss not *long name*
He was definitely alot more "endboss" like . And frankly yaldabaoth was fine and all ....but I think the story could have ended at shido and I would have been happy. But hey the rest is just the icing on the cake yeah?

I think if they had been switched round like if you defeat yaldabingabongo, then in a last attempt Shido tries to beat you, i woulda liked it more
Honestly I was expecting the shido stuff not to end so easily , I was expectingly his underlings to try and make a puppet president of him. Leaving the team wondering what happened while they control shido to push the agenda he had started even after a change of heart.
And hey , at least yaldaboath is easy to remember . Persona 2 had nyarlothotep, it's impossible to remember and say lol.
Well the game did have to end somewhere so i get why it happend how it did, but if it were real life that would probably be what happens
Indeed , I was just expecting it somehow. But I can't complain because I really enjoy the story. I like persona 4 but I like the larger scale of 5 and the more serious tone.

So in my opinion I prefer 5 because of that.
