well I grew up with power rangers over super sentai so I did see the references but I never watched alot of sentai to get them...

That's pretty fair, I suppose most people in the western audience would just write it off as Power Rangers. I obviously grew up with Power Rangers too, but when I got older I found out about the source material and never looked back.

Never really got into it as a kid. But I mean, it's mechs and fighting...who doesn't love one or both of those things!?

well yeah, who wouldn't? btw @PhantomRider did you play FF13 before your awakening? because you seem to take alot of your parallels from a certain blond "Hero" from that game... I mean your special power's a motorcycle, you're a fistfighter...

Also mentioning Tokusatsu homages, a lot of people say that Makoto's suit is very Kamen Rider-esque and while I can see it, the first two things I thought of personally were Mad Max and Fist of the North Star.

@Magatsu-Picaro, W-w-well I actually really enjoy Final Fantasy XIII, I know that one gets a lot of hate from the fan-base and it's not cool to like it, but...I won't lie, Snow definitely helped inspire my rebellious spirit a little, but even more so Raoh from Fist of the North Star and Mad Max were even bigger inspirations for me hence the "Post Apocalyptic Raider" nickname. I know girls aren't supposed to be into these kinds of things, b-but I just love them so much and even if society thinks it's weird, I can't change who I am.

I enjoy the game as well maybe when PM's come up can I possibly confidant you and we can bond over stuff like that...
