Who are the Reddit thieves? They sound like a bunch of hacks.

Doesn't a site like reddit (running an upvote system for every thread etc) go against the thieves MO? Like, aren't they supposed to be fighting against the system, not just rolling along with the views that get naturally pushed to the top by the echo chamber and trying to game the system for karma? I find that pretty funny.
