@Hazama or other BlazBlue fans
Should I get BlazBlue if I'm not a fighting game person? It's not that I don't like them, I just haven't found one that a like. I like Smash Bros, but I hated Killer Instinct. I've never played Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.
Tao recomends you to start with continuum shift extend 2. (Tao's not sure if that's the one... but the last and best edition of continuum shift)

It features the plot of the first game and has an noobmode where combos execute automatically. Tao's not good at fighting games either, but she likes this one
I only have a PS4 so if it's an old game then it'll be hard to get.
It's not an easy place to start now there's so many systems and characters in the game, but there's plenty of resources out there to improve. Very different game from SF, MK, and KF mostly because of airdashing and serious blockstring nonsense, it's more explosive than those games.

If you want an easy to learn airdasher that everyone can pick up quickly then you could try P4 Arena. You can probably pick it up very cheap now.
Just realised p4a never got a ps4 port whoops
It's a very good game, heavily reccomend
Ooc plus it's made by arc soft as well so they both feel close in playstyles
Ok, sounds like fun.
There's also Guilty Gear. Both Blaz and Gear are made by Arc so they're similar.
Guilty Gear looks fun but I've never played
Start with GG or P4A.BlazBlue is too difficult to start.
Thanks for the tip, I've been meaning to get GG.
Get BB and play with Tao!
I'll get both if it's not too expensive.
Thanks Ryuji.
Buy the ones before the latest release if you care about story at all.

I personally love the visual novel story and the English cast, and the newest game, Blazblue Centralfiction, has no English dub.

@Marsh
I'm gonna play the game in Jaoanese anyway and I'll just find the story some other way like YouTube.
In that case, take your pick of games.
Ok, the latest one is on PS4 so I'll just get that one.
That's the one with the most characters. I'll warn you, you're starting at the end of the story and it's not easy to pick up, but you'll definitely have a lot of fun with it.
And as a general tip, you'll see a guy that kind of looks like Dante from DMC. That's Ragna, he's the main character, and he's easier to learn than others.
Noted
If you want a decent waifu, pick Noel. Or maybe Rachel.

Blazblue waifu wars?
Tao's the best rawr! Everyone knows that!
Of course, Tao-chan. I'll be sure to pick you when I get better.
@Marsh Rachel as a waifu?!You're kidding me.
