(spoilers about akechi) So in a hypothetical PQ2...
Do you think Akechi would be included in the roster? I'd LIKE for him to be included, but i'm not totally sure he'd actually be playable.
They DID include Shinjiro, which lends credence to Akechi also being included, despite his fate. however, there's also the argument that he seems to often not be counted as a Phantom Thief, since he only agreed to temporarily work with them, and betrayed them as well. If he isn't REALLY a member of the phantom thieves the way the others are, then perhaps he would be left out.
So, do you think he'd be included in a Persona Q sequel, or not?

and bonus question: do you want a PQ2 in the first place?
Personally, i want Q2 more than any other spin-off. Though it's likely because Etrian Odyssey is one of my fav game series~

One of two things could happen in theory of course.

1. He is playable and they are taken from before Sae's Palace.

2. He is an antagonist turned ally after beating him again. This would be the Akechi that should've been dead. But my pet theory is that due to having Loki (a trickster god) as a Persona, he might've been able to fool Futaba's sensors. And remember, he has been in the same Palace as them before and they were never the wiser. Once again, just a theory, but I strongly believe he ain't dead.

And yes. I really want PQ2!

Anyway, I think Kilb's first statement sums up my thoughts. During the forced waiting period to send Sae's calling card, I can imagine them having a spin-off like PQ with Akechi happen.
