Agreed, if I understood how the Metaverse worked, I would probably forcibly change my own heart, but not reveal my crimes, that is if I did anything that was WORTH the Phantom Thieves caring about me for XD. If I didnt understand the Metaverse, I'd probably be a bit confused, Paranoid even, and lock myself away IRL for a little while.

If I got a calling card nothing because by that point it's too late.
But if you know youre a target of the phantom thieves you can lock off your treasure by getting someone to send you a fake calling card, as long as you can't tell it's fake the treasure will materialize for 1 day and then the calling card will no longer work.

Well that would work wonders, but if you didnt know about how calling cards work with tge change of heart, there'd be no way to carry out a devious plan like that.

What if Akechi sent Shido a fake calling card to effectively immunize him against a future card?

Honestly, that would be such a good ending for a bad ending, like damn everything you try to do just utterly fails because of what Akechi did. Too bad once he caught on he went after you and it didn't turn out to be the best thing for him.

I'd just resign myself to the change of heart - unless my shadow is overpowered as hell, it's gonna happen one way or the other, and even that's not a guarantee.
