*The clocktower sits in the abandoned streets of Shibuya. It slowly counts down towards the upward position at a rate that is hard to determine. It's already 1/4 of the way there. The Clockwork God can be seen standing on the top of the tower as if waiting for something.*
"I am Chronos, master of time and fate. The reebirth I speak of shall put a divine who strayed from fate back onto their proper path. It is all part of my path to remove this error in timespace."
*The Clockwork God looks into the distance as if looking out for more people.*
A divine? Is it related to... this? *She gestures to the general area* I've heard talk of a "Nexus," but all I know is that I'm not exactly home anymore.
"It's quite simple really. This world is an abomination. An error that must be corrected for time to resume it's proper flow. It is my duty to erase it."
So you're here to erase the world? Sorry, but I can't let you do that. It would be a pain to have it gone after I went to the trouble of saving it. Now... *A few small flames crackle around her hand* Is there any way I can convince you otherwise, or must I turn you to ash?
"I simply follow my proper rule within the world. I am time itself and therefor I must remove any error that cross my path. It is the only way to maintain balance."
So basically, clock hits zero, "Izanami" dies, and this world is erased. No sense in wasting time talking. *She snaps her fingers, creating a small flame* Unless you want a fight, back down.
"Such simply minded mortals, do you not understand what I am? To fight me is to fight against time itself. As long as you are restricted by the rules of time you cannot win. Besides, this is all for the greater good. If you have an ailment do you not try to cure it?"
Listen, I don't care if you're a god or anything like that. All I know is that you need to be stopped. You're quite annoying... especially since you've started a wave of time puns.
"I would humor you all but I simply do not have the time to play games with you all. Perhaps another time, but on my own turf. We'll have a much better time there. So see you all some other time."
*The Clockwork God vanishes in a stream of temporal distortions.*
