Question of the Day Discussion
If you could trigger a change of heart, would you? If yes, who? And why?

Personally, I'd change my dad's heart. He's getting scary to even be around. He gets overly upset at every little mistake me and my brother do, and throws a fit when something doesn't go his way. He screams at us, and I'm afraid one day it might escalate further. It's gotten to the point where I can't even say anything back to him. He treats my disagreement like a personal insult.
I'm not sure if I'd be able to convince myself to change anyone's heart, but I can certainly see why you'd do it.

I'm with marsh, I don't think I personally know anyone who I would consider bad enough to deserve having their heart changed.
That said I think if I were in your situation I probably would want to do it too.
Changing hearts is not something one should do: Are you capable of manipulating others, just for your oun good? Shielding yourself on the tought that is for a good reason; that is nothing more than a delusion.
Changing other's heart is not something one should do but one himself. Instead of changing others, why dont you change yourself? Maybe because its easier to just lie on the tought that is probably easy to just change others instead of doing the work, which is not easy, to change oneself.
It is not an attack, but an opinion that may come in handy.
I don't see any problems with a change of heart, if they have a palace that means that their view on the world is distorted, and we know as a fact that mental shutdown is very hard to cause on accident
That's a fair point but a lot of people who have their heart's changed aren't distorted enough to have their own palace. At that point you're kinda just manipulating people to fit what you think is right.
I think the power is something to use in moderation. In my case, I think I'd mostly be doing it for my little brother.
I'm not gonna run around on my own agenda, though. Humans are complex creatures and differing opinions and outlooks on life is what makes life interesting! In any case, I think I'd only be able to do it once, anyways. I think I'm a little too cowardly to do it constantly.
