This started as a simple request, but I decided to give everyone an opportunity to make their own spell cards ! <br> <br> First of all, &quot;what's a spell card, Meiling-Sensei?&quot; you may ask! Well, let me explain ! When we, inhabitants of Gensokyo, use a spell card, we actually enter a sort of trance that boosts our physical and mental capacities to use skills that we can't normally use. <br> These spell cards can also imbue power to objects. A good example of this is Sakuya's pocket watch which allows her to manipulate time. Her time control powers are amplified and can be made more specific with the use of spell cards. <br> But then, how do we make them? It's actually not that hard ! There are three essential parts: a name, an effect, and the manifestation itself. Where I'm from, we don't actually fight in the proper sense of the word. We duel each other with what we call &quot;danmaku&quot; these are bullets that together form patterns. The winner of the duel is the one whose danmaku is superior in power and beauty. <br> But of course, we don't fight using danmaku here so our spell cards become closer to what you see when we use them here. Actual skills and attacks. This means the manifestation isn't as important here. The name, is used to bring forth that trance. It has to somehow awaken the latent potential that lies dormant in each of us ! Some youkai use names that allude to their past, or their legends. Some use names that correspond to their danmaku, others reference things they like. <br>
