The jumping outlaw
"Fan-fucking-tastic."
Adam pats Rep on the shoulder then hits him on the back of his head.
"Go to your dorm, get rid of your armor and take five."
Adam pushes Rep as they go down some stairs into the inside of the Carving Knife.
"Nobody parties in their armor, Hunter."
True to his words, Hunters and Huntresses are arriving from their dorms, dressen in their casual clothing after having discarded their armor.
"After that, report to the Captain."
Saluting him, Adam jogs to the deeper levels to get the Nargacuga some meat before it kills them all out of hunger. It's also conveniently spiced up with a little concoction of the ship's smith, which will make the Monster fall asleep pretty damn quickly.
(edited by The_Carving_Knife)

The desert devil
The Kushala speaking immediately sparks chattering among the Hunters and the Researchers, with the Hunters revealing their weapons, of various designs and styles. Among them even is one with a Kushala Daora Greatsword and she proves to be one of the braver ones, walking forward to speak.
"You...You speak? How is that even possible?"
A lanky researchers sprints over quickly, readjusting his glasses and scribbling onto a note pad.
"It shouldn't be, by all research, their vocal cords are completely incapable of human speech, not to mention they haven't achieved the same level of intelligence!"
(edited by The_Carving_Knife)

The desert devil
The Researchers immediately flee towards the ships, hurriedly clmbing up offered ropes as their Hunter allies prepare for battle, 4 of them all in all. They are veterans, incredibly skilled and well armored. It won't be much of a fight.
"A Diablos,eh? Maybe we can capture this one too!"
"No thanks, Milo's cat jas already caused enough problems. Let's just get rid of it."
The Hunters advance towards the Diablos at a slow but steady pace. Meanwhile, the Nargacuga would find the net to not be made of any rope, but of metallic cord!
"Good thing they thought ahead. This should take care of it."
Failing to cut the net and being too late to dodge it, the Nargacuga is ensnared and thrown to the sands far below.
The ship moves slightly, getting over it and alowing a couple Hunters with large ropes to descend and start tying it up again.
The desert devil
To the Nargacuga's surprise, a large net is shot right at it by a woman, one of the twins. Her excellent accuracy with a bow translates quite well to this large, ballista-like weapon.
"Milo, if you insist on keeping this thing as a pet, i'd advise you to be more careful with what you do with it."
A muffled 'SORRY!' can be heard from inside the ship.
"It's fine, practically target practise."
(edited by The_Carving_Knife)

The desert devil
"We, uh..."
Eli looks back towards his companions, the Hunters waving their arms in panic, as if to tell him not to tell the truth. After some awkward moments where he looks around, he turns back to the Kushala.
"Our specific Company was sent out to capture Monsters and test them in various situations though...We were also directed to dissect any that proved too...Stubborn."
Eli breaks out into a slight, nervous laughter as he slowly steps back, the Hunters facepalming. Back on the ship, the sounds get louder, accompanied with the sounds of something resembling a big cat's along with the cries of a human.
"BAD KITTY! PUT HIM DOWN!"
