Let's discuss dating sims!

Just wanted to know your guys opinions and favs. I actually only played one in my life, which was Asagao Academy and I loved it, but I mostly look at dating sims and I am like, meh. I mostly am not interested to play them. Asagao Academy was good to me because Humor, gaming references and Youtubers I really like, to see them in this form and follow their stories was cute. (Also a total fcked up route so yeah) So I wondered what you guys think about dating sims. Do you think they are normally boring, like me, or do you like them a lot?

There's currently someone out there making a dating sim about Persona. But off topic, I myself like Dating Sim games like Huniepop and Purino Party.

I haven't really been any dating sims that interested me,but there are some occasion gems that stick out, and I end up really liking them. For Example: The previously mentioned Asagao Academy (PBG is best boy), and the recently released Dream Daddy, made by Game Grumps.

@Rom_Dolos PBG was also my fav route, he is best boy. XD Oh yeah I watch the let's play of Dan and Phil of that. But I never would play it myself. Maybe i only will watch other play dating sims but never play myself. @favotitist_Bishop Didn't knew Huniepop counted, I mostly only watch obsidian wasps joke videos about it.

I happen to enjoy dating sims that have good storytelling and relatable characters. Unique game mechanics are a plus as well if they do not hinder the first two aspects I listed. My favorite Dating Sim games - Mystic Messenger - Hatoful Boyfriend - Amnesia - Code:Realize -Nameless: The one you must recall As for my favorite dating sim company that would have to be a Korean one known as Cheritz. I feel that this company creates the most human characters and the best plots.

I don't play dating sims, but I do wanna get Hatoful Boyfriend someday. The playthroughs I've seen are good. Also, I wanna date a birb. Let us date the birbs.
