That wasn't the toy. Activating: Proto Longinus. *The top of the staff opens and releases gas tht seals Personas. The real Sam is knocked into the floor by the large orb and the hologram disappears*

*Sam blocks the panic rounds with his metal arm before activating his claw and leaping at Rom*

*Sam smirks, holding onto Rom's spear like a vice and sending a current of electricity through his metal arm and Rom's spear*

NNNNGHH! C-Clev...er... *Rom starts looking visibly tired as he gets shocked, but he barely stands his ground and smirks menacingly. His lance lights up and shoots a big orb of arc energy as he strikes upwards to the ceiling, where Sam will get pelted by the swirling ice fragments*

*Sam gets blasted off the lance by the energy. His claw starts smoking as he shakes it in pain. He still manages to raise his other hand, creating a lightning shield to defend against the ice* Not bad at all.

So... *pant* How long does the sealing gas last? *Rom shoots the smoking claw 5 more times while putting more tempered light around himself*

Like I'd reveal that *Sam drops his shield, shooting the bullets with wrist bow bolts. His claw self repairs itself*

Hmm..... since he can use that magic while the gas is in effect, it must not block Mana flow......

Fair enough... *While Sam shoots the bullets, the light that coated Rom is triggered, boosting him towards Sam, and striking him 3 times*

*Sam manages to dodge two of the blows, before getting hit backwatds into his staff. He seems dazed.*

C'mon... Just a bit more... *Rom is getting more tired as he sweeps Sam off his feet as he swings his lance one more time, unleashing Arc Light at his staff*

Gotcha *Sam jumps over Rom as he tries to sweep him, grabbing Rom's spear, before activating a cage of electricity from his staff. He pulls the spear part way through the wall, sending an electric current through it towards Rom*

I was going to pull a Deus Ex Machina, but... *Takes his hands away from his face, showing his mask* ...that would be a dick move. So, I concede. Good game, man! *Rom grins at Sam while reaching out his hand for a handshake*

Good. *Sam snaps his fingers, deactivating his cane's electric cage and Persona sealing gas. He then summons his drone, Marietta, to heal Rom and gives Rom his handshake.* You fight well, man. Just gotta learn to think a little more outside the box at times.

Right! *Nana becomes serious as heat Eminates from her body, then sends a burst of flames out of her hands towards Gamma, sending her in the opposite direction*

*The fire melts a little of the ice spreading on the floor, the spread stops as Gamma takes a small device out of his pocket, he pauses for a moment, then puts it back, instead he brings out two, fairly small metal rods and blocks some of the flames, they glow red hot and cause him to drop them, but Gamma is mostly unharmed* Only fair that I hold something back as well.... Shiranui, Maeigaon. *Gamma snaps his fingers as Shiranui roars, four Tendrils of darkness come out of the ground in the direction Nanaka is flying in, attempting to latch on and restrict her movement*

Eh!? *Nana encases herself in a field of light to ward off the darkness, summoning her sword as she lands and focusing on her surroundings* If I remember..... Gammy likes to stop his opponents with ice and darkness.... so I gotta be careful.....

*The tendrils stick to the field initially, before seeming to absorb it and disappating* Think of it as fighting a glacier. Slow, methodical, unrelenting, and of course, very, very cool. Restrict your options until there's nowhere left to go, and nothing to do but freeze over. Speaking of which, Shiranui, lets work on the ice again. Ice Age. *Gamma's persona roars into life and another sheet of ice radiates from Gamma, it rapidly covers the area previously frozen, and moves at a decent pace beyond that.*

So then. It's a battle against time..... I can't waste it by playing defensive then! *Nana's light aura quickly bursts into flames as she rockets herself into the air, flames burning from her feet to propel herself, as she lands in the center of the floor at high speed, a massive wave of flames bursting out from the point of impact in all directions*

OOC: eh, maybe replace the second one with fire, not too many synonyms to use. IC: *The ice in Nana's immediate area melts, as does much covering the rest of the arena, Gamma quickly creates a wall to block the flames off from him, which in turn melts in seconds* You and Tatsuya..... I forget how troublesome fire can be.... Have to try something more direct. Shiranui, Diamond Dust. *Gamma's persona roars as 6 spears of ice form in the air around him. They arc outwards towards the arena walls before converging on Nana's location. If dodged, the spears would collide, causing them to shatter into dozens of dagger-sized shards of ice*

That's not hard! *She stomps, and ducks down, a box of concrete forming to completely cover her and protect from the spears*

*Though the spears don't pierce very far, they stick into the concrete and begin to freeze it over, a slight chill can soon be felt inside the box* Alright, suit yourself. I'll freeze over anything that I have to. Shiranui, Ice Age. *yadda yadda, sheet of ice, I think we all know how this is described by now. Point being the aim this time is to overtake and freeze the box, in addition to covering the ground around it in ice*

*The ground shakes as heavy vibrations, like the feeling of earth moving, come from the box, cracks appearing in the ground, heading in the 4 cardinal directons outwards towards the wall, one heading directly in Gamma's direction*

*Gamma is forced to stop the spreading ice in order to step to the side, to avoid being directly over the crack. With the shaking ground and self-made slippery footing, Gamma ends up falling, the box is almost completely covered now, and the inside feels cold* Alright.... And now, like most objects, it becomes far more brittle at low temperatures. Shiranui. *as Gamma struggles to his feet, his persona roars and sends out a wave of force at the box, trying to shatter the weakened concrete*

*The concrete shatters, revealing a hole in the ground as the cracks meet the walls, the one the furthest from Gamma creates a hole at the base of the wall, then the cracks begin moving in a circular motion counter clockwise, to create a giant circle of cracks on the floor, meanwhile, Nana jets out of the hole by the wall and shoots fire into the hole, causing the cracks to burst into flames* Two people can play field control!

*Gamma, having hardly stood up, is surprised at the sudden jets of flame, he instinctively raises his arms to guard the worst of it, as much of his ice melts. Gamma's sleeves end up catching on fire, forcing him to dive into and melt one of his remaining icy platforms* You know, Klib's totally gonna freak when he sees this.... So much for not damaging the Gym. Regardless, Shiranui, Eigaon. *Gamma gets back to his feet as tendrils of darkness shoot out of his sleeves. He grabs onto them as a whip and lashes out towards Nanaka, they dive through the last of the flames, and glow a slight red, before returning to their normal pitch-black state*

*Wanders back on in* Wow.... Nana AND Gamma fighting? .... Now I wanna fight again...

Meh, I'll fix it easily after I win! *She punches the wall behind her, and a box of concrete once again surrounds her, this time originating from the wall* *Meanwhile, the cracks begin to return to the center hole in a spiraling pattern, Fire still bursting from the floor*

I mean, I am in a to-- *Distracted by Migrant's appearance, Gamma is very nearly struck by a pillar of fire, this time he quickly forms ice in order to minimize the damage* Ok..... Getting a bit warm in here...... Shiranui............ I actually have no ideas.... Maybe... Dormina. *Gamma's persona bursts into form again, before diving into the cracks. It is seemingly unharmed as it travels underground towards the box. If it reaches Nanaka, it would simply feel a slight chill and a wave of exhaustion*

So fire does beat Gamma after all, figures. Though honestly I'd love to learn a thing about applying magic from Nana...

*Emu walks into the gym and takes a seat on a bench against the wall.* Haven't been here in a while. I tried to give Genm Hyper Muteki back but he left without it... I guess I'll hang onto it for now, never know when I might need it in a weird place like this.

*Unfortunately, the cracks on the floor don't connect with the box on the wall, however, the fire dies down as the cracks finally meet at the center hole, and the wind slowly begins to pick up in a counterclockwise direction, causing a slight breeze to circle the area* *As that happens, Nanaka touches the box and it bursts into tiny pieces, and the shrapnel flies in Gamma's direction like a hail of bullets* Almost there...... *she seems slightly winded*

*Emu looks at Migrant with his hand behind his head.* Your not wrong, but I think I'm a pretty good doctor already. At least, I hope I am. I know I'm not quite as good as Hiiro or Taiga when it comes to medical work, but no one's better at curing Game Virus than me!

Alright, there she is... Shiranui, Diamond Dust. *With the reduced moisture due to Nana's earlier flames, Gamma is only able to form 4 spears of ice to launch at Nanaka. Rather than curve out at first, they fly straight towards her*

*Emu smiles and laughs nervously.* It's nothing important. Not like they're easy to find anyway. Sometimes they leave a place as soon as they show up and they can be a little...eccentric, as well. Right now, I'm just trying to learn as much about this world as I can. I have to keep an eye out in case something bad happens. People might be in danger and I want to be there to help them if that happens.
