Phantasmagoria of Wilting Life
[Previously in the haunted tree mansion: Our brave team of explorers almost managed to turn the lights back on. One of them also managed to get through the gate leading to the top of the tower. There, she saw the corpse of an unidentified, unidentifiable and undead creature. It was hanging from a noose in the middle of the tower. That creature was the source of the mist causing insanity and cancelling magic. How will our brave heroes face this obstacle?!] [first of all, a disclaimer. I'm not on my own computer so expect some struggles zith the keyboard on my end. I'll do my best to not make too many mistakes but if you see any, please dn't mind it too much. Second of all, since it's been a while, please re;ind ;e of the stuff you had as well as who knows what. Thridly, any newcomers are free to join. Anyone may join at any time. The maximum player count is six. If you haven't done any previous itterations of this series of threads, tell me and I'll give you a quick leqd in to what you need to know.] The party awakens once more in front of the tree. Corpses lay strewn about, some of them even looking familiar. However, they're too disfigured to put a name on them.
Hmm... Here again, huh? Well, I guess last time was an eye opening experience, so let's go again.
*Himeno gathers up her things: a couple of fuses, a frame with a map, some wire, and... canned pineapple. Why does she even have that last one? She shrugs and stands up, looking around at everyone present.* Alright, two things you should know for this "run": one, I should be able to get power back to the house soon after we enter. Two, the... thing causing this is at the top of the tower at the second floor.
*Kotori arrives with Map in hand, prepared to enter*
I see, well I might know where the generator is. And by might I mean I have no clue but I know where it isn't.
I know where the fuse box is. That should bring the power back. Anyway, I'll take care of that. I'll leave the rest of this run up to you. *Himeno checks her map, then opens the door. Time to head to that room again...*

The team enters the tree. Having seen this mny times over, they instinctively head to the entrance hall of the house, a square room with four doors, a bunch of boxes, tool kits and a moveable ladder. What will you do ? [ you can start loosing sanity from here on]
*Kotori heads up the ladder to the second floor* S:17

From out of nowhere a... Rather non threatening ghost appears "Wooooo there everyone how's it hanging? I sure hope you guys haven't seen any super spooky ghosts around here..." The ghost shivers somehow... At it's mention of ghosts "Well anyways nice to meet you people, I'm Bob, the most certainly living groundskeeper!"
*Himeno takes the south door as planned. The study will be her destination...* SAN: 17
[sorry for the delay, grand father started one of his hour long talks where he just talks without ever listening to me. Update will come soon. Also, @Spooky-Ghost please, don't disrupt this thread]
Kotori climbs the ladder to the second floor. There, tzo corridors zith tzo doors each await her, as well as a long spiralling staircase with a make-shift barrier and a padlock holding it tightly closed. The corridors extend southward and west ward. [ also, didn't you have a ring ? it's a key item so please confirm if you have it ] Migrant closely follows Himeno. An unsetteling cold surrounds them both. Himeno heads into the study. There is a large bureau zith lots of paper work. Various containers align the shelves on the side. They all contain odd creatures preserved in green gelatinous liquids. The floor is covered with a bright red carpet. What will you do?
[So Sorry for disrupting you with a bit of humor... Ah well we can't all be super serious like you right Liam? At any rate sure sorry for being a bother oh great GM. There was a time when we used to use the dumb jokes in our plots but we're more sophisticated now, anyways Spooky-Ghost out see ya]
*Kotori enters the workshop to the west, remembering the ring on her finger, and looking around* S:16
[ well it's just that the aim of this plot is to be serious and actually dark. If you know anything about me, you'd know I normally start my plots with a bit of meme. I try to keep it out of here for a reason. you're free to join if you use something else though.]

*Mig heads westward into the hallway. This being where all hell broke loose last time... and takes a moment to survey the doors nearby. It may not be smartest, but if there's another door besides the one Kotori took, Mig wants to take that one.* SAN: 17
*Himeno lifts up the carpet, and, upon most likely finding the hatch, she opens it to descend into the next room*
Kotori enters the father's work room. Wooden tables clattered with woodworking tools fill the room. One of the tables is especially clattered. On the western wall, saw blades are aligned and other tools hang on the eastern wall. Blue prints and designs are hanging on the northern wall. Mig stays in the hallway. As Kotori opens the door, he catches a glance of what the father's work room is like. In front of him, stands another door. The cold atmosphere intensifies as she ponders which way she should take.
[ rip himeno] Himeno lifts the carpet and finds as she expected it a hatch leading to the power room. She heads in and finds the machinery she remembers. in a corner of the room lies the fuse box.
*Takes a deep breath in the cold, this being just like before.... so without further ado she opens the other door and steps through it....* SAN: 16
That was almost too easy... *She shrugs and opens the fuse box to put her new fuses inside*
*Nana looks around on the tables, looking through the clutter* S:15

Mig breathes in. Mustering up all his courage, she opens the door to the parents' room. She is greeted with the soft smell of a rose sented perfume. The bed in front of her is still prim and proper. To the side, a large frame with a picture of a family, a man a woman and their daughter, hangs. They all seem so happy on it but the freezing cold that reigns inside and the absence of noise acts as a cruel reminder of the mansion's corrupted state. Next to the bed are small tables with drawers, and on the other side of the room is a large dresser. Himeno puts the fuse back in the box. As she places the last fuse in however, a sudden freezing sensation washes over her. Unable to move, unable to breathe, her brain short circuits. The electricity managed to make its way from the fuse box to her own body. She managed to avoid any lethal damage, but the shock leaves her unable to act the next turn. Kotori ru;;ages through the clutter on the desk. Between the metal wire, wood of various sizes and shapes, a large amount of tools and even some fuses, there're many things she could take. While looking around, the lights suddenly turn on in her room. Though it may be uneven, it helps seeing a bit better. Using it to search some more, she finds a blueprint of a devie looking like a piano linked to a door through various wires and contraptions that would run underground. There's also some scribbles resembling what would be a song sheet for a piano. 4 of the 10 notes are however unreadable because of a large coffee stain.

*Takes the sheet and exits the room, heading towards the piano room* S:14 Turns till Destination: 2?
*Himeno tries to move, but it's like she's completely disconnected from her body. Like those binding attacks, except more severe. It takes a few moments for her to close the box and stand up. It hadn't even been ten minutes, and something was already trying to kill her.* SAN: 14
[ I saw the previous threads, but I was too lazy to read them. To my knowledge, it's like one of those text-based adventure games, right? ]
*Hmms and goes looking through the drawers, and the dresser, trying to find some sort of clue as to WHY this room looks so prim and proper.....* This is out of place, there must be some reason why.... SAN: 15
[ pretty much, it's also a horror thing. You loose sanity each turn making your character crazier and crazier, as well as more prone to being haunted by one of the entities residing in the mansion. https://phansite.net/forum/topic.php?topic=10557 you can read the rules here. just one difference is that you get more then one turn being insane. it's three instead of one, and at three, the darkening will push you to suicide. As for the plot you need to know, the elder of a nearby village sent out a general petition asking any adventurer worth their salt to get rid of the mist that permeates their village. It cancels out magic and gives immense headaches to the villagers. Not much is known about it for. Those who put an end to the mist will get a handsome reward. You manage to track down the source of the mist to a tree, atop which lies a large mansion. Around the tree, corpses are strewn about and a door knob can be seen protruding from the bark of the tree. you can start from there]

[ K. I get it.] *Flonne walks up to the tree and looks at it for a second.* Oh, mister ghost! Won't you please stop haunting this village?
Kotori switly exits the room. The hallways are now lit by some dim, yellowish lighting. It's not much, but it makes things a bit easier to navigate. Feeling a bit reashured, she hurries on to the piano room and makes it there much faster then she thought she would. Inside the white room, the piano stands silent. After a while, Himeno finally manages to stand back up. A soft purring from the engines signals her that the power is back on! Looking through the dresser, he finds out that it's actually quite lqrge. a couple of dresses and blazers hang there Shelves on the side also contain clothes, but there's still enough space inside to hide something large. He then moves on to the tables next to bed. Ontop of one of them is a small ring. Though covered in dried brownish blood, it still gives off a certain air of elegance. In the drawer he finds a diary. But as he places his hand on it, a warm liquid suddenly runs from his shoulder along his arm and drips on the floor via his hand. The heat of his blood running down his body feels unsetteling and unexpected given the sheer cold of the room. As the blade gets pulled out of his shoulder, a gravelly female voice breaks the silence of the room "L E A V E T H I S P L A C E" The bed stands between him and the door and the looming presence still stands behind him, the cold she emits giving away that she's about a meter away from him. Flonne is answered by an opressing silence.
*Listens, if the Ghost is playing the piano, she tries to match the song she's playing to the notes on the sheet, if not, she sits on the bench and begins playing the part she can see, trying to remember if its the same as the song she heard in her last life* S:13
*Himeno shakes her hand to get rid of the tingly feeling, then climbs up the ladder. If she remembered correctly, there's a switch in that main room...*
Oh god.... oh god....! *immediately runs for the bed, tries grabbing the ring, and tries bolting out the door and into the hallway* The ghost's after me again!!! SAN: 14
Eh, okay! *Flonne enters the mansion and does a search of the area* SAN: 17
The room still being silent, Kotori walks up to the piano and begins playing. She immediately realizes the first couple of notes that miss are the same as the ones the ghost girl used to miss when you heard her playing. You end up pressing a couple of random keyes to fill in the gap, but nothing happens. You could try and keep on playing, or try and look for a full version of the song somewhere else in the house. Himeno heads back to the vestibule. She flips the switch, and suddenly, the lights turn on on the first floor. A soft ''vmmmmm'' can be heard next to the cellar room. it sounds like an automatic door opening. As Mig scurries over the bed, she suddenly feels the cold touch of the entity on her leg. Turning her head, she now clearly sees the horror that stands behind her. It's barely human. Nothing in her body is symetrical anymore, her left leg is bent backwards, her right arm is sown to her body with a missing forearm, and her face is a wobbly mess of flesh and giblets. The horror, and the pain make her loose a sanity point. She shouts: '' G I V E I T B A C K!!!'' What could be eyes squint together, further distorting her broken face. She extends her arm towards yours while still holding a blood covered kitchen knife in the other. Flonne opens the door and enters the large tree. On her left, a staircase circles around all the way to the top and leads to a hatch in the ceiling. On her right, a metalic door with a small control panel next to it.
*Nana exits the Piano room and heads southeast to the study* S: 12
The cellar... that's to the east, right? *She checks her map and heads in that direction* SAN: 12
*Mig clutches the ring even tighter knowing how much this.... monster wants it. She's trying to tug, fight, claw, whatever her way toward the door to the hallway. At one point even sliding the ring onto her left hand in order to keep it safe....* HELP! SOMEBODY! SAN: 12
Oooh! A control panel! *Flonne walks up to the control panel and begins pressing randoms buttons* BEEP. BEEP. Mission control here. report in, Space Dudes!

Kotori heads into the study, but noticing the flipped carpet and open hatch, she can't help but feel somone else already came in. On the bureau lie various accounting documents and various creatures are preserved on the shelves surrounding her. Himeno heads into the halway leading to the cellar and immediately spots something new. A metalic cabin stands vacant next to the cellar, but as soon as she notices it, it closes and the ''vmmmmmm'' noise is heard again. Where the elevator stood, is now a wooden wall again. As Flonne mindlessly presses the buttons, a 'Vmmmmm'' noise suddenly fills the room. The metalic door opens, revealing an elevator cabin. The room grows colder as mig claws her way towards the door. When she finally manages to kick herself free from the monstrous woman, the cold in the room already reached subzero temperatures. Bolting out of the room, Mig now stands in the hallway, the woman making her way around the bed.
An elevator? So that's a way out of here... *Himeno keeps that in mind and heads back, taking the ladder up to the second floor* SAN: 11
*Nana looks around on the shelves and bureau* S:11
Oooooh! An elevator! *Flonne runs into the elevator and presses all the buttons, carelessly.* Take me away mister elevator!
*The chill causes Mig to shivver as she makes a quick decision, bolting toward the door that Kotori had been in before. The... workshop, was it? With the jars?* Kotori! Kotori!! Help! SAN: 11
OOC: Whoops, wrong alt.
Himeno climbs the ladder to the second floor just in time to see... Migrant still being chased by the woman bolts towards the father's work room. However, he trips over a mallet that was laying around and falls to the ground, The woman stands in the doorway and shouts again. '' G I V E I T B A C K'' Kotori looks around the shelves. Many of the creatures here seem foreign to her. There are also a couple of stuffed animals, looking almost life like. If you didn't know better, you would almost expect them to jump on you as soon as you truned around... She then heads to the desk and begins looking around the clutter. She then finds a note written in a slightly messy handwriting. " She's trying to learn that song on her piano now. It's heartwarming, really. But I need to make sure she doesn't get access to my lab. I think I should change the code one of these days. But what song to use? Well I can worry about that after I made this last delivery." Nothing else grabs her attention. Laha- Flonne enters the elevator and, after a while it stops on the first floor where the doors open to a corridor.
*Himeno mutters something under her breath as she watches the scene in front of her. The woman is too far away for her to stab, but maybe... She follows the two and throws the can of pineapple at what is probably a ghost mist lady or whatever* Hey! SAN: 10
*Mig is in a bad spot here. On the ground, way out blocked... She backs up toward the wall, still on the floor.... * Oh God... Someone.... Hurry..... SAN: 10
Hey! *Flonne runs through the corridor, not paying attention to her surroundings. She just runs until she either bumps into something or someone* SAN: 14
*Nana goes down the hatch* S:10

Himeno having seen her compananion being chased by that distorted monstrosity, she chucks her canned pineapple at it. But in a flash, the woman's left arm bends backwards, a sinister ''crrrrk'' making itself heard from her shoulder. She catches the fruitcan before it hits her head, crushing it in her hands as though it were a simple sheet of paper. She turns around: ''L E A V E T H I S P L A C E'' Her mouth barely opening, most of the sounds come directly from one of the cuts in her throat. Mig, backs off towards the table, in the monster's distraction he manages to catch a glimps of the room. Wooden tables clattered with woodworking tools fill the room. One of the tables is especially clattered. On the western wall, saw blades are aligned and other tools hang on the eastern wall. Blue prints and designs are hanging on the northern wall. The monster is still distracted by Himeno. Kotori heads to the power room. The machines emit a loud purring noise indication all is still working as it should. The fuse box in the corner also emits an electrical ''vvvvvvvvv'' noise. Meanwhile, Flonne merily runs to the left [ btw, don't forget your sanity'] She arrives to the northern side of the mansion. There are two doors here. one north and one south. The south doors leads into that square room which lies encircled by the hallway she's currently in. the hallway also continues further.
*Flonne hastily goes through the north door* Hey everybody! Flonne's here! SAN: 13
Sorry, can't exactly do that. *Himeno draws one of her knives and slowly backs up. All she has to do is keep this monstrosity distracted. She glances around the room for any escape routes she can take, but her options are limited...* SAN: 9
*Mig sees an opening as well and gets up, grabbing a saw and running at the monstrosity with it! Determined to chop its dang fool head off!* SAN: Ring regens one sanity so still 10.
Welp...... useless..... *Looks at the map and decides to head back to the daughters room upstairs, meanwhile, the sound of the generator refuses to leaveher ears* *turns till destination 2?* S:9
[ i'll speed up the pace a nit. I have to wake up early tomorrow so I'll make you loose more sanity in a couple of turns. I'll clearly point it out zhen it happens] Flonne enters the north door and enters the kitchen, shouting cheerfully. In the north west corner stands a large fridge with various notes attached to it with magnets. A large worktable stands in the middle of the room. rotting fruits and vegetables cover it along with some unidentifiable meat eaten by mads and flies. on the eastern side is the stove as well as cooking plates and some drawers. In front of the stove is a woman with an apron. She's kneeling in front of it, as though watching meat cook... inside the turned off oven. Upon hearing flonne shout however, she turns her head towards her... Or whatever it is you would call that mangled mass of flesh peering with fish-like eyes at Flonne. She stands up, but her crooked leg fails her and she falls to the ground with a loud ''thump'' Himeno faces the monstrosity. Her eyes dart around summing up all the possible escape routes. She could flee into the parents room. she remembers there's a wardrobe there she could possibly hide in. She could also try unlocking the gate again. Or alternatively she could head down instead. Then there's the other halway which she hasn't really explored much. The monster turns around to face mig again Mig, having picked up a saw swings wildly at the mother's neck. The jagged teeth sink into her flesh as a growling screech resonates around the house. The whole tree shivers and shakes as lighting suddenly grows dim. The air is freezing and the malice seething around the second floor is almost tangible. Himeno and Migrant both loose a sanity point. Kotori walks out of the power room and heads towards the lobby and prepares to climb the ladder when a bone-chilling screetch stops her in her tracks. Flonne also hears the screetch as though it came from the *thing* that fell behind the work table.
*Himeno's body tenses up. She should run, but... she can't just leave Mig defenseless* If I die, I'm blaming her... *She musters at her courage and stabs at the... thing* SAN: 8 ooc: food time
Phew.... phew.... I think I got it. But.... why is it so cold....? *Mig shivvers, trying to see what's going on around her, or to see the person who helped save her. Better hope she wasn't ready to attack or something...* SAN: 8
Oh my goodness! Are you okay? *Flonne hurries over to the woman and tries to help her up* SAN: 12
.......... Don't mind.... you've died twice...... keep going..... *Kotori continues, the buzzing getting louder* S:8
Himeno runs up to the creature and pushes stabs it in the neck with all her strength. the head, already damaged by the saw and previous injuries slowly flops off its neck, though still hanging by a couple of blood vessels. Seeing this, mig and himeno both relax, as they now notice each other. But this place isn't ruled by logic. It thrives on hatred and malice. Despair and death. The monstrosity staggers forward and grabs mig's neck, choking her and her sanity, . mig loses another sanity as she stares at the beady, upside-down ''eyes'' that peer straight into hers. The cold burns mig's neck. Thankfully, her assailant seems to be weakened. Himeno is oblivious to this as the body stands in the way of things and at the distance she's at, she just barely fails to see the neck. Flonne runs towards the mother, trying to help her up. But as she does so, the woman firmly grips her shoulder. In her skimpy dress, the cold immediately seeps into her body, giving her some severe frost bite on the shoulder [-1 sanity]. The thing lifts its head to face Flonne as it mutters: '' L E A V E T H I S P L A C E'' Kotori climbs up the ladder, in a daze and obssessed by that buzzing noise, she completely fails to notice the comotion at the end of the hallway and singlemindedly enters the daughter's room. The first thing that hits her is the sound of soft girly weeping coming from the corner of the room. in that same corner, a bed with a human form underneath the sheets, guarded by a pale girl sitting in a fetal position. She seems to be the source of the weeping. There's a little table with various sheets of paper in the south west corner and next to the window is a small book.
[ due to tiredness, I'll put you all in stasis and continue this tomorrow. sorry guys, but I can't wake up late for my trip back home ^^' you can post your answer to this. the update will be tomorrow]
Eh? *Flonne continues to speak to the mother* Why? What's wrong? Whatever it is, i'm sure I can help! It'd be wrong to just leave you here like this.
What? It's still moving? *Of course. It's kind of hard to kill the dead. If only she could turn it to ash... An idea comes forth from her panicked mind, and she puts away her knife, trading it for a different one. Apparently, it had a chance of igniting foes. That was what the package said. She silently thanks Iwai and swings the Igniter...* SAN: 7
I've done this before already. Don't look at the girl. *Kotori examines the table with the sheets* What's wrong little girl? *Kotori speaks to her without looking, starting to feel itching in her brain*
Power of light... BUMP THIS THREAD BACK TO LIFE !!!!! [ still waiting on mig to post]
*Mig stares wide-eyed as she's suddenly choked by this still not dead monster..... barely able to make a sound as the bone-chilling cold hits her.* SAN: 6
As flonne carelessly ignores the frost bite eating at her shoulders, she questions the monster. However, it doesn't reply simply groaning and moaning as though in pain. It raises its other hand and grabs Flonne's forehead and applies pressure on it. [ turns before Flonne's skull is crushed: 4] As Mig helplessly suffocates at the hands of the mother, Himeno rushes in, knife in hand and courage welling in her heart. Sparks enshroud the blade as it makes contact with the putrid skin of the mother. The blaze it set off propagates extremely fast but her grip doesn't falter. Mig is still suffocating and will now soon be set ablaze as well. As kotori digs around the sheets, she asks a question to the little girl. She answers: "Lately daddy's been really weird... He doesn't like it when people come in... But I think it makes things more amusing... But every time people come, he makes me play his games instead of mine... And the visitors always end up leaving... It's so sad!" As Kotori digs through the sheets of paper, she finds one that looks like a sheet for a piano song. There's even a bunch of hearts drawn all around it. The first few notes match what you found earlier.
Oh yeah? *Kotori takes the sheet music, and starts walking towards the door out into the hall* Guess I'll have to have a talk with daddy then. *Kotori starts getting irritated by the itching that spreads down her veins* S:6
Oh? A massage? How thoughtful! But, I don't think that's really necessary. *Flonne looks around the room* Well... Since you don't seem to want my help I think i'll just explore around the place some more. *Flonne tries to walk away from the woman's hand and exit the room* SAN: 9
*Okay, NOW real panic sets in as Mig kicks and shoves and even tries to bite at the hand holding her. ANYTHING to get out of its grip. She'd already turned to dust.... she had no desire to try burning alive while being held in an icy grip.* H.....H..... *Remembering the saw, she raises it up and does the gruesome task of trying to saw the hand off the monster!* SAN: 5
*Okay, so that didn't work either. Back to the other knife it is. She dashes around the mother and...* Wait a second... *The saw. Of course. Himeno attempts to snatch the tool away from Mig and, if she succeeds, use it to slice at the monstrosity's arms* SAN: 6
Before Kotori leaves, the girl shouts. "Wait, I need your help!" Mig begins sawing at the thing's head as its fist tighten around her neck. However, before she even reaches the bones, Kotori runs in and tries to grab the blade, however the heat from the living corpse is too much to bear and she staggers back. Mig's throat now bears light burn marks. She looses one sanity point. Flonne gets up, trying to put on a facade of bravado as she attempts to leave, but the grip tightens, sending an intense wave of pain from her skull to her brain. A soft voices whispers directly into her auditory system: "I'll send you whence you came" The voice is indescribable as it bears no worldly equivalent. As those words resound in Flonne's mind, the various cooking tools in the room begin shaking
Sure. What do you need? *Stands with the door open, lightly scratching at the itch that has reached down her neck* S:5
*Himeno curses under her breath and steps back. Her flames just made everything worse. Everything...* N-no, I can still fix this! *Her eyes drift down to the mallet on the floor. Mig had tripped over that not too long ago. With a roar, she picks it up and swings at the mother's arms* SAN: 5
Oh? I'm going back to Celestia? Why? Did something happen there? SAN: 8
*Mig is... dropped? She clutches at her throat as if unsure if that was real. She gasps for air before looking around, clearly still damaged from what happened, holding onto the saw still as she just runs toward the nearest thing and saws at it. Be it mother or Himeno....* SAN: 3
Himeno manages to past the mother, grabs the mallet and forcefully hammers down on its arms. A loud " KRRAAAK" is heard as the arms suddenly cave in from a lack of supporting structure. It screams in pain and shuffles back trying to hold onto the wall for support... But with arms in that shape, she only manages to fall down. The otherworldly screams she screeched out are deafening. Mig, still in shock, immediately seizes this opportunity to attack her "assailant". However, having simply jumped at the first thing she saw, she slams her saw in Himeno's face, gouging out Himeno's left eye. Kotori, still facing towards the tower listens to the daughter: " Umm.... I'm getting kind of tired... But Daddy doesn't let Mommy and me sleep anymore... But I think that if I had mister Bittles, I'd feel much safer and I'd sleep easilier!" Flonne's question remains unanswered as the mother presses a second hand on her head. The pressure is making Flonne's skull crack more and more making her loose a sanity point.
I'll find Mister Bittles for you then. *scratch scratch* S:4

*Himeno, having no time to react, can only scream as the blade cuts into her face. She stumbles back, covering the stream of blood with one of her hands. Even in her pain-fueled haze, she still has enough sense to try to escape, and rushes blindly towards the ladder leading downstairs* SAN: 4
*Poor Mig is already losing herself, though.... badly burned from the cold, sanity beyond just waning at this point, she stumbles after the screaming figure, saw still in hand. Trying to get close and swing at her again!* SAN: 2
The girl replies: "Thanks lady.. You're nice" the girl goes back to silently sobbing in her corner Kotori meanwhile spots two figures running towards the ladder, one of them chasing the other with a saw. With a sudden scream of agony, the mother releases Flonne. The mother looks up, towards the ceiling as it begins muttering unintelligible words. She completely lost interest in Flonne. As Himeno escapes and Mig pursues, they both crush the agonizing mother in their frantic escape. She lets out another shout of pain as she slowly melts into thick and dense mist. In her scramble, Himeno looses her footing and falls down the hole leading to the first floor. As she tries to break her fall she grabs one of the rungs of the ladder but with her speed, she ends up dislocating her right arm. Mig, close behind her jumps down the same hole, and ends up landing immediately on Himeno. The power is too much for that arm to bear, and both fall to the ground, the arm still hanging on for dear life on the ladder...
*Mig jumps down the hole and lands on Himeno! She doesn't even notice the resulting arm.... trouble. Though Himeno probably does from under Mig. Only knowing that she'd crashed into the monster, Mig just saws downard at what she landed upon....* D.....i......e..... SAN: 1
*The fall itself isn't that horrible. Sure, her arm feels like it's on fire, but at least she's still on the ladder* *However, she barely registers hitting the ground as Mig's sudden arrival separates her arm from her body. Pain is all she can feel, although she "thankfully" passes out from the pain and shock a moment later* SAN: 3... not that it matters
Oh... *Flonne sounds disheartened.* Okay then! *She skips merrily out of the room* SAN: 5
*Kotori closes the door in a panic and continues to scratch harder* Fuck! S:3

Mig swings his saw wildly at Himeno as he feels twisted feelings not his own take over his heart. His desire to wreak destruction and grief over the world intensifies as the darkness fills his eyes. He swings more and more, faster and and with more intensity until Himeno's head is like a book: a bunch of thin slices barely hanging to her jaw. Suddenly, Flonne barges into the harrowing gore that Mig made of the lobby. The horror makes her loose a sanity point as she slowly takes in what is happening. She now stands face to face with a crazy psychopath with only his will to kill left. Meanwhile. Kotori closes the door and scratches at her throat. Blood and pus begins to pearl around her throat and her nails are filled with dead skin.
*Satisfied that the "monster" is dead, Mig... or what's left of Mig anyway... stands up and brushes herself off. Noticing Flonne, she grins a wicked sort of grin and immediately runs at the girl with purpose. Making three quick sawing hits once arriving. One for her eyes, one for her leg, and the last one for her neck!* SAN: 0
Haaa..... haaa..... I'm not dumb..... I'm not going out there and dieing...... *Scratch Scratch* S:2
*Flonne notices Migrant and appears delighted to see her.* Migrant-cha~! *She then notices her try to attack* W-wait! You're not Migrant-chan! You're her evil twin sister! *Flonne quickly glances to the right for an object to defend herself with, reaching frantically as she tries to back away from Migrant*

Kotori waits around in the corridor. The blood begins to pour out of the wounds on her neck. As Mig notices flonne, she slowly walks over to her, raising her saw with a devilish grin. She then runs towards flonne without listening to anything the latter says. Flonne scrambles to catch a toolkit to defend herself but mig rapidly slashes it out of her hands. Screws, bolts, screwdrivers and even an open box cutter spill out of it. However, Mig pays it no mind... Until she carelessly falls over the screws, impaling her throat on a bunch of long nails. She still has a little bit of life in her, as her spasms indicate. Flonne can only stare at the sudden death, mouth agape.
*Mig, through sheer power of insanity, is able to claw toward Flonne.... wobbling to stand up as she uses the last of her life to lunge at her with the saw. Not caring where she hits, just trying to kill the angel before dying herself!* SAN: -1 Turns Until Death: Last Turn
*Kotori's mind is filled with nothing but the itching, her arms going limp from anemia as what remains of her throat bleeds onto her Armor* S:Ded
W-wait! I, uh, yeah, uh, um, bye now! *Flonne stumbles backward and tries to pick up a screwdriver to block the saw with.* SAN:2
Kotori scratches herself until she reaches her arteries, scratching those open like a madman. Blood spurts out covering the hall in a dark red coating. Flonne grabs the screwdriver in a desperate attempt to defend herself from Mig, but the difference in strength proves too great for flonne. The screwdriver gets hit out of her hand as the saw blade cuts itself halfway into her throat. Mig's lungs getting obstructed by blood falls over onto Flonne. She stays unconscious until death by suffocation ensues.
Well, guess i'll just die now... *Flonne breathes slowly as she slowly bleeds out.* SAN:1

[ spoke too soon x) I hope you still enjoyed this. ] As Flonne's breaths become more and more irregular, she can feel her angelic life slowly escaping her mind's grasp. Soon, she and all the others trapped in the mansion feel their mind floating back into the ether. Before long, they realize where they are: in front of the old tree leading up to the mansion. Their memories of the previous events still lingering in their minds, their hands still firmly grasping the items they collected over the course of their last adventure. *Himeno gasps and puts a hand over her left eye. It's still there. No pain, no blood. Sure, she'd died three times before, but those hadn't happened when she was sane. Holding onto sanity meant more vividly remembering the "dream." She forces herself to calm down and looks at the map again, after giving Mig a wary look* ooc: Sleep tight, Liam.
