The chatter of the crowd drowns Bona's voice out, but he can see a few signs up. "NexCon, the Nexus's local video game convention!" "Sponsored by Haven Research Institute" There's also a pamphlet with info on most of the booths. A few big names pop out, and there's even a whole place dedicated to the Sega Saturn.

*waves to rom* I wonder what this "NexCon" Is....

A video game convention? Huh. Cool. I guess I'll check it out. *enters*

*Approaches Bona* A game convention? Sponsored by H.R.I.? I wonder if Amy's here...

*Follows Bona*

The inside of the building sprawls out into a large room, with booths set up everywhere. There's one selling Pokemon figures, and another with a console for visitors to test out a recently-released game. A small group of cosplayers is posing in front of some kind of magical girl poster for pictures.

*Jumps from nearby stand onto Rom's head*

*Among the crowd, Blanc stands in her regular human attire, attempting to hide herself as a goddess. She carries a few things with her, namely a notepad and pencil.* I'll have to take note of the reaction to our newest system... Maybe suggest some improvements... Oh, and see responses to our games on the show floor. *Blanc begins to head towards whatever area of the convention is Nintendo related.*

*Picks Pika up* Where do you wanna go first, guys? *Eyes the recently released game*

I'm more interested in Persona 5:Dancing Star Night. *Pulls out earbuds and jukebox*

Blanc finds herself near the center of the room, where a Nintendo Switch is displayed. There's quite a bit of excited chatter about the new Shin Megoomi Tensay game. A few people are gathered around someone playing a 3DS demo.

*le gasp* Pokemon figures! *goes to that stand, hoping to find a Mudkip figurr*

Pokemon? Sure! *Rom goes to the stand, and finds a Riolu figure*

*Goes over to pokemon stand* As boring as usual, *Picks up a pikachu figure*

*Blanc writes down any specific praises and complaints she hears, before moving closer to the 3DS demo in order to do the same.* Hmm, I'm curious what they decided on for the display game... *Blanc eyes the Pokemon stand from a distance, probably wanting to check it out.*

The person selling said figures is a bit shocked by the living, breathing pikachu sitting on his table. He seems to be holding back his excitement as he tells them the prices- about 15 to 25 dollars, depending on the figure, its size, etc.

*Alaina curiously gazes around* Oh wow I never thought I would actually be able to afford a con. Guess being stuck in a different place does have its perks. *She walks over to the pokemon area and looks through some t shirts* Hmm I wonder if they have anything in my size.

Hey nerd, how much for this Pikachu figure? *Pulls out a briefcase and whiskey, then drinks said whiskey*

*buys a big Mudkip figure*

The person playing the demo is testing out the SMT: Mysterious Quest reboot. Even in such a simple demo, he plays like someone who has used its mechanics for hours upon hours.

*Rom picks up a medium Zoroark figure, in addition to the big Riolu figure he got* How much for those?

"Let's see... that'll be about 22 dollars..." He smiles apologetically at the Pikachu as he hands the Mudkip figure to Bona. "Sorry, not used to Yen conversions yet." The Pokemon t-shirts have various designs, mostly poke balls or Pikachu and the starter pokemon from various regions.

"The Zoroark and Riolu? I'd say for those two combined, it's about 34 dollars."

Alright, sounds good... *Rom reaches into his bag, where he pulls out a couple of bills and some coins, adding up to 34$

*Alalina picks up a litten t-shirt with an excited glimmer in her eyes* Wow this shirt is so adorable. I bet this kitty's final evolution looks just as cool! *She shyly raises her hand and tries to wave down the man* How much for a cute shirt like this?

The man takes the money, and gets a bag for Rom's two figures.

Yes! *puts it in his bag*

He looks over at Alaina and smiles. "That one's about 19 dollars, miss."

Alright! *Rom grabs the bag with the figures inside and looks around some more. It seems like he may nerd out soon.* Next time this happens, I should submit something of my own... So... what next?

*Tosses whole briefcase at the person, bot bothering to count as the case contains 1,000,000 dollars, then takes the pikachu figure* Looks good enough... Where are we heading next?

*Alaina prays to every god she knows and nervously checks her wallet* Please let there be cash please please please. *She releases a sigh of relief upon spotting a $20 bill* *With a mature smirk she coolly hands the man the cash* Thank you so much for the help kind sir.

Looking around, the group can see quite a few other booths, as well as some game demos. According to a paper pinned up nearby, there's also a panel for "Haven Research Institute" going on soon.

"No prob- oof!" The man is nearly knocked over as he catches the briefcase. He sets it down and takes the 20 dollars, putting the shirt into a bag for her.

Heh, glad to see we've got some serious fans here to enjoy what we've got so far... *Blanc finishes writing down her hearings from the crowd around the 3DS, looking up at the Pokemon store every so often. After finishing, she sighs, before walking over to it.* Well, I don't get to come to these too often as a regular person... might as well get Rom and Ram something while I'm here. *She finds small figures for both Plusle and Minun, and heads to the counter.* Excuse me, but how much for these two?

Oh, a Haven Research Institute Panel? Maybe I can see Coda soon... Before it starts, I'll go check out the SMT Demo... *Rom does exactly that*

The man looks up at the new customer. "Those two combined are 27 dollars, miss."

The person who was just playing steps aside for Rom to test it out. Already, the player character has a full party of demons, about level 30 for the purpose of the demo.

*Alaina happily receives the bag and sits against a wall* So this is the true joy of going to the con. I should do something like this more often after midterms of course. *She rests her head against the concrete and takes in the con life*

*follows rom*

*Blanc reaches into a pocket in her coat, and pulls out a small white wallet. She manages to make out exact change, and hands it to the clerk.* Thank you, sir. Please continue to provide support for us. *She walks away, stowing the figures in her coat pocket along with her wallet.*

*Follows Rom to the SMT thing*

Ooooooh! *Rom moves around, exploring the area, level grinding and testing out the demons* This is cool! I'll be able to break even more fourth walls with this!

As the others wander around, they're fully able to take in the sights. There's some yelling that vaguely sounds like "PLAY SEGA SATURN," but it's probably nothing. The group of cosplayers by the poster have moved on, visiting another group. The fourth wall cracks a little, but thankfully doesn't shatter.

*Plugs computer into demo and starts adding in custom monsters and levels. Such as a level in the shape of a swastika, a Rom army, and Pikachus as the currency*

*Modifies the swastika logo into Joker's Mask* Heh...

*Changes battle theme to ear raped version of the soviet anthem*

The crowd gathered around the 3DS laughs a little. This is certainly against the rules, but it's too amusing to stop just yet.

*Suddenly inverts all the colors and puts Rom into the game as the main protagonist*

Let me add a little something as well! *Rom takes out his own computer, and changes the demo boss's model to a brick wall labeled: "#4"* You'll see what happens when you beat him...

The crowd is going wild at this point. Some of the bystanders are starting to stare.

*Changes colors back and turns all the party members into Bona, Pika, Rom, and An Apache Helicopter*

Heheheh! *Dastardly pulls a sheet off of a huge machine* Today is the day! Nothing can go wrong at all with my new Pixelizer! Once I flip this switch the switch my Pixelizer will shoot out a beam towards the convention in which it will then teleport them into this game! *Dastardly gestures to an old modified CRTV that has a game console and cartridge in it* Once the beam hits them, they will be transported into this game in which I have full control over! With them in it I will then delete the save there by deleting them allowing me to take the lead and win the Wacky Races! Yes nothing can go wrong! Heheheheh! *Dastardly flips the switch on the Pixelizer shooting a beam towrds the convention, but the beam hits a mirror sending the beam back towards Dastardly* Oh phooey! *The beam hits Dastardly and an 8-bit version of him appears on the TV with a text box appearing saying, "I'll get you next time you hear me! I will win the Wacky Races!"*

*Turns to the Dastardly's...event* Uuuhhh... Okay.

*Deletes the save file Dastardly is in and tosses away the CRTV* That was fun Rom, but what to do now?

I have no idea, Pika... How 'bout we go back to the cave? I'll be back here soon for that panel, but I have nothing to do in the meanwhile...
