Emerson's Armory: Mystery of the Forge
*It's the dead of night. Barely any stores remain open, not even Caffeine Cafe. But one person, one brave soul treads the night as (almost) all others fall. Er, anyways, Armory. Basically, you can request a new, stronger weapon, enhance older ones, or get something custom made. I don't have too many limitations, I've made some busted stuff before, so be creative!*
Aincrad walks in tired and exhausted and assumes Em will be at the wheel. "Hey Em, glad to see thi-" he looks up and finally notices Anna. "Ello? Who are you?"
*The woman smiles at him, before putting her right finger to her chin.* Well, hello there, handsome! The name's Anna, a merchant running business through out the Outrealms! So, may I ask for your name as well? It's a bit rude to ask a lady's name without giving your own first, y'know. *She stares at him for a quick second, before a snickering smile returns to her face.*
*A person clad in a red mask reminiscent of a certain knight walks into the armory Ah! Emerson! How are you enjoying the new GYM do- oh hello there! I don't think we've met before! *The person then bows while reaching out for a hand shake at the same time I am Kalib Knight! Who might you be?
Aimcrad smirks and does a bow, his cap in his hand. "Aincrad Hazel, Gentlemen freak at your service. Always glad to meet a new face around these parts." Looking up he looks around whistling. "I must say its a nice selection you have this fine night, tell me, how does a sweet," at this he winks at her just barely looking towards her, "nice girl like you get into the weapon business? The skill that it takes to learn and recommend differing weapons, or the fun of helping someone find that special little weapon that fits all their needs?"
*Anna accepts Kalib Knight's handshake, although skeptical.* Er, Kalib, why are you dressing like that weird guy I see in GYM and acting like you don't know me. It's Anna, don't you remember me? When you went and fought that dragon god downstairs? *She clears her throat before turning back to Aincrad.* Hehe, I'll have you know my family's pretty broad when it comes to the term business. If it falls under the category, we can work it! Although, weaponry does happen to be a specialty of mine thanks to my old job. I happened to have picked up the skill for it, I suppose.
Eh? Oh that's right! Lady Anna! I remember now! I still have that spear! *Kalib Knight then pulls the trident off his back, spinning it around before putting it back in the holster, it seems to glimmer in the light as a bunch of circuitry and wires with tubes lay all over it, So! Where have you been? It's been a long time since I last saw you!
He grins and looks around. "Well then I think you'll like what I'm about to say. You see, I'm a skeptical shopper." He places his two main weapons down on the counter, his cane and Urumi. "While I still adore the cane, it's fragile and probably wouldn't be able to sustain itself. The Urumi though has lost its charm so I'm in the looks for a new weapon that offers versatility and being able to manuever around the battlefield like this does, but with something with a more elegant design. Any ideas?"
Saeko walks cautiously into the armory. She was on her way home to drop off her shoulder bag, but found a single place still open, a place she had not seen open before. As she walks inside, she sees a couple people gathered and talking. Deciding it would be rude to interrupt, she simply stands back, glancing around at the place and those hanging around.
>A familiar looking man stands by the doorway. His eyes never leaving the man in the mask. He'd just stand there silently for the moment.
Oh, I've been around. You know that mall the moved in recently? I own about 50% of it. I've just been off doing my jobs, that's all. *She turns back to Aincrad, and looks over the weapons laid before her, inspecting them a little.* Hmm... I'm not familiar with what these are, exactly. Er, that is to say I'm not familiar with what they can do. Could you fill me in on that? It should help in finding a suitable replacement or alteration. *Anna looks over to Saeko, smiling and nodding before returning her attention to her current customers. She, uh, didn't notice fake Kalib.*
*Kalib Knight turns around and notices the unfamiliar face, being the friendly person that he is, he does his bow and handshake as he speaks loudly Why hello there! You seem new here! I'm Kalib Knight! Nice to meet you lady! *Kalib Knight having the observation skills of a dog eating pancakes doesn't notice the familiar man
Ah! Well thats great Lady Anna! Sounds like you've had your hand full with work!
He grins and shows a few buttons hidden on the cane. "This one allows for use of elemental walls and gives me a speed boost, while looking graceful as all hell. This is my main weapon." He then picks up the Urumi and slides out a circular container from the bottle of the handle. "This whip sword is used to get around shields and most weapons, but lacks the style I want. That and it offers two elements thanks to some tweaking from Star, God knows what she's up to, one of which I had to scrap due to a long ass story. The other element being ice."
>The man grumbles and clears his throat. He'd rollhis eyes and cross his arms. Excuse me. If I may have a minute of your time, Kalib Knight, was it? >The man glares at the masked person.
Saeko looks a bit surprised and nervous, looking over her shoulders briefly, before giving a look that seems to suggest 'Are you referring to me?'. She scratches the back of her head and responds with a nod. "Nice to meet you as well. I suppose I am still new here, it has only been a few weeks since my arrival."
Ah! Yes! Kalib Knight at your service! How may I help you Kalib?
>The man would walk over and put an arm around Kalib Knight and proceed to move him away from the customers. We've business to speak of.
Very well! I shall now take my leave! Good bye everyone! *Kalib Knight then waves as he walks up to the door, kicking it in half and then bursting into tears, it seems that he can't resist breaking the door, but hates himself for it, he then leaves, who knows what will happen
Hmm... you said you wished for your cane to be sturdier, yes? It should be possible to simply replace the material used to make it and make it stronger. And, if I may ask, what exactly is the style you wish for regarding the whip-sword? I'm not one to assume senses of style, at least not this early on into a transaction. Oh, and we've actually got some of Star's equipment here. She was planning on running a second branch here but... I guess times got tough.
"That would be nice for the cane. I have yet to actually fight properly with it for fear of it breaking, and as for style I want something that isn't as... Brutish I guess. I love the weapon, but it's an antique for a reason. I need an updated version that allows the same sort of maneuverability without seeming to be a weapon used by ancient warriors. That and besides my Persona I don't have any real ranged weapons, so I would enjoy something that fits there as well. And think gentlemenly style. Victorian England or Gothic horror. That sort of thing."
Saeko moves over to the entrance, flabbergasted she just stares at the remains of the door. "T-The door! Why would you just..." She sighs heavily and closes her eye. "To think this day was almost peaceful."
Tch. Asshole blew me off. >The man would chase off after Kalib Knight.
Hmm... how about this. I'll reinforce the cane now, and I'll toss this little project over to Emerson to a little finalizing. Does that work? *In the meantime, Anna finally motions Saeko to some over to the counter.* Is there anything you needed, miss? I'm sorry it took so long to get to you.
He grins and bows once more. "Works beautifully my dear, I'll leave this here for you overnight, I'll come pick it up another time. Good night." With that he gets up and leaves.
Saeko turns to Anna and moves to the counter, eyes moving around a bit as she speaks. "It is fine. I was just curious, I am still a bit new to the Nexus, and have not seen this place before, though I seem to recall someone mentioning it. I apologize for taking up your time with my... aimless behavior."
Oh, don't worry about it. Everyone's like that. So anyways, this is an armory, as you can see. Is there anything you needed? Maybe a resupply of ammunition, some basic maintenance, anything?
"I see." Saeko scratches her chin. "I will keep that in mind if I ever have trouble with my revolver." Saeko nods and looks as though she's ready to leave but her eye lights up as she suddenly remembers something. "Oh! I suppose I still have this." She reaches inside her military jacket, pulling out a combat knife. "It is rather old, and has been in bad condition for quite a while. If possible, I could do with a replacement, though I do not have much in ways of payment."
Oh, I can easily find a replacement. A fair few people carry these as back-up, so we happen to stock up on them. *Anna walks into the back room, bringing out a very similar knife, simply cleaner and newer.* Do you think this will do?
Saeko looks the knife over, smiling. "Ah, yes that will do. I have never been much one for blades, but it is always smart to have one on hand." She giggles a bit, her hand reaching into one of her pockets. "Though I suppose that is something you have already heard, if you carry so many." Her hand pulls out of her pocket, holding her last three silver coins. "Oh... I no longer have enough to afford something like this, hm?"
*Anna laughs a little, before pushing the knife into her hands.* Take it. Consider it a welcoming gift! OOC: Homework's distracting me, augh.
Saeko's smile returns as she takes the knife at her insistence. "Thank you, that is rather kind of you, Miss." She says with a nod, as the writer laughs because they don't have to deal with homework anymore.
Saeko puts the knife away, and takes out her pocketwatch, glancing at it for only a moment before putting it back. "Mm, it is quite later, I must have lost track of time. I apologize but I must return home and rest. Thank you once again." Saeko nods at Anna once more, before turning to leave. Awkwardly stepping over the debris from the door, she waves her hand over her shoulder as she departs.
*he enters in with his Fighting Lion grenade launcher and Skybuners Oath scout rifle* Hello? Any gunsmith available?
