Technos Palace: Virus Activation

*The same giant metallic sphere lies in the distance. Out of nowhere, strange fragments of code begin to line the outer coding of the sphere's outer shell. A few civilians try and approach this robo-castle, but they begin hacking uncontrollably. Suddenly, they turn into a violent rage and attack anyone who gets near them, before eventually succumbing, and collapsing on the ground, as if having a mental shutdown.*

Advent_Cirno

Hunh?! * As she flew about, Cirno spotted the odd sphere wreaking havoc.* What's this?! It looks like people are in trouble! I've got to help them! * Cirno flies as fast as she can towards the survivors and attempts to rescue them by bringing them away from the orb*

*Her attempts are futile. Because even as they are brought away from the orb, the civilians still continue to collapse and die.*

*Gamma once again follows the readings on his device to locate the orb, upon noticing the effects it has on the other humans who approach the sphere, he walks towards it slowly and cautiously, to measure the effects it might have on him*

*Gamma's head begins to ache slightly, as his metaverse outfit begins to flare to life. However, the area still seems to be a reality.*

Damn! It's not use! I need to do something about that floaty thing! * she then notices gamma slowly approaching* HEYYYYY!!! * she flies over to him* You!!! Don't get so close! It'll make your brains go pop!

*Gamma stops upon hearing Cirno's shout, his clothes mostly replaced with a long black coat like a conductor's, and a white mask on the right side of his face* With all due respect, I very much doubt you can solo whatever's in the dome.... Though your nature as a fairy likely makes you immune to the effects of..... Whatever this is. I should be able to fight through it. Besides, I need some more information.

*Minato approaches the palace* *Sigh* Another one?

*Suddenly, a vent opens up in the middle of the shell, in which spherical drones begin pouring out of the palace. These drones appear at specific intervals, and if timed right, one may easily sneak through them.*

Oh, you already know about me! That makes things easy then. Well if you think you can be of use, then I'll gladly take your help! But uh... Do you even know what this thing is ?

*The code surrounding the castle begins to form solid ledges, of sorts. Akin to the sides of mountains, they appear possible to climb.*

*Gamma nods* This is the second time we've met, first was in a training fight as you might remember. As for the thing, all I know is it's combat drones mentioned wanting to assimilate the Nexus, and they can adapt any magic sent their way into a more powerful weaponized form. Now then, down to business. *Gamma circles around the dome so he can approach it from outside of the drones' Line of Sight. Once there, he slowly approaches it again, seeing how bad his headache may get*

* following gamma* Magic huh? Meaning physical attacks would be their weakness?

Minato_Yuki

*Minato's SWAT team metaverse outfit appears on him, then he follows Gamma*

Outside of the dome they used wires to attach themselves to the ground as a power source. That was their weakness, but if we get inside that may not apply.

*The drones appear to have stopped pouring out of the vent for now*

I'll just smash their feet off with my Watermelon Blade then ! But what are we still doing outside, let's enter! We can probably sneak in while the robots aren't coming out!

That's a plan. *Gamma takes a deep breath and, with his Metaverse-enhanced speed and agility, begins leaping up ledges towards the vent, entering if no drones are still in the ares by the time he gets there*

*In the vent, Gamma notices a corridor, of sorts. It's much wider than expected, although a massive wall of deactivated spherical drones make it cramped. Gamma can notice a straight forward path, clouded in darkness. Past the corridor, is a large room, Seemingly empty.*

* looks at gamma's little acrobatics and gives him a slightly obnoxious smile as she flies past him* Heh

*Minato somehow catches up with Gamma* So, what's the plan edgelord?

This is where the real stealth part begins. *Gamma pauses for a moment before deciding to proceed without light. He approached the room, squeezing between the deactivated drones, and pauses just before entry to inspect the room from out of sight*

* Cirno meanwhile sticks to the air, flying silently above the team, hands on her sword. *

*The room seems to be covered in silver metal. Blue code tends to outline the walls and ceiling. Besides that, it's too dark to see anything else*

*Gamma pauses again before looking over to his teammates* My Persona, Shiranui, can provide a faint light. This would make us easier to see, but also illuminates the area better. I'd rather not dictate this, so I'll ask if you think it's a good idea to bring out.

* Cirno goes back into the hall, and freezes various parts of the wall such an angle that light refracts onto them and into the room* heheh! This should do the trick! I think...

*The room is now lit, so people can better see that it's empty.*

( :v damn interior decorators, I'LL SUE!!!) Huh... it's empty. Well let's get moving then.

Alright, that works much better actually. I'll keep that in mind. *Gamma keeps near the room's wall, just in case, as he moves further in*

*He follows Gamma again*

/SECURITY BREACHED /PLAN SUCCESSFUL /ACTIVATING PROGRAM "advantage.EXE" *Suddenly, floating 1's and 0's appear in the air. Out of nowhere, three mechanoids phase into the area. /.div memory Shiranui /.div skills /.Ma-metal-eigaon *Suddenly, 10 tendrils of metal appear out of nowhere. 2 tendrils target Cirno, one striking above her in the air and one straight for her. 2 target Minato, one from the left and one from the right. And 6 go straight for Gamma, forming electricity around them and attacking from all sides*

( oh jolly. Straight to impalement) Wh-! * getting smashed in the head by the first metal tentacle Cirno is spiked towards the ground where she crashes before slowly getting up, thus avoiding the second tendril* Owowow.... * she pats her own head* Thank god us fairies are hard heads! Are you guys ok?! * she shouts turning around to look at her friends*

Be careful! The more you do the more they'll learn. Hold your big stuff for the source. Shiranui, Maeigaon *Gamma's Persona roars to live and summons 6 tendrils of its own. They attempt to wrap around the metal ones aimed for him and force them to the ground, well off their intended course*

/.div wired shiranui /.div skills /.div metalbound *Suddenly, a huge vibration is created. spine-crushing, in fact. This vibration bounces off the walls and reaches a fetal intensity. The air is absolutely destroyed, and your ears scream in pain. Your words are snuffed out by the noise*

( thanks) *Putting her hands to her ears in a desperate attempt to lessen the pain, she quickly starts generating a thick shell of ice around her to protect her-self from it*

*Oh, right, they have wires connecting to their backs. I'd say about a hundred of them.*

*Gamma clutches his head as he falls to the ground in pain. He shouts, though none of the others can hear him* Shiranui.... Diamond Dust *The noise harms Gamma's focus, resulting in only 6 daggers of ice being formed. The daggers split, with three being sent at two of the mechanoids, the daggers curve around them in an attempt to cut off their wires*

* from inside her ice cocoon, she spots Gamma's ice flying past her. Using her ice manipulation, she makes them much larger, thicker and sharper*

*The daggers dig into the 2 mechanoids, causing a tear in their plating. Wires and electricity cut.* /2 UNITS HAVE DAMAGED SYSTEMS /ESTIMATED SURVIVAL TIME /5 MINUTES

*with the mechanoids relenting for a moment, Gamma stands back up and shouts to Cirno* Now's your chance, cut off the remaining wires and they'll be much weaker.

Got it!!! * breaking off her cocoon she unsheathes her winner sword and watermelon blade* Hayaaaah!!!!! * she delivers a flurry of slashes with both blades, wielding them as with ease*

/CHANCE OF SUCCESS SEEMS GRIM /.div skills /.div desperation strike *Suddenly, the shoot wires from their fingers, attempting to wrap around and strangle everyone. In a burst of energy, they radiate and combust, creating a strange gas which begins to fill the room.*

*Gamma takes one glance at the gas and sighs* Obviously we're going to need a bigger group. We're going to have to return later. Shiranui. Diamond Dust Variation: Frozen Slasher. *A long blade of ice forms on Gamma's wrist, he uses it to slash away at the nearby wires and attempt to carve a way out of the room, back towards the entrance*
