mona dew et
Starting off, we go to the Undead Asylum. Inside we find all the hollows, banging themselves against the walls and floors, wishing death. At the end of a hallway, we discover... You. You have been trapped in the Asylum, like the Hollows around you. You have an iron will. You will get out of this situation. While you are pondering upon an escape plan, a corpse falls in front of you. You look up to discover a man on the roof, clad in iron armor, looking down upon you. He threw the corpse through the hole in the roof you planned to escape through. He stands up and walks away. You proceed over to the corpse to find a key. Is this the key to your cell? Time to find out...
The key goes into the lock perfectly, you turn it as you hear a click. The door has been unlocked! You walk out to see all the people you have been enslaved with. They used to be people. Now they are all unrecognizable monsters that you thought only existed in children's tales to give you nightmares. You continue walking forward until you discover a coiled sword trapped in a heap of rubble. You walk up to this sword, you try pulling it out, to have a weapon, but it doesn't move at all. Then, you realize what you have to do, and what it is. It's a Bonfire. The Bonfire is what the Undead call home, as they have forgotten anywhere else to be home. You put your hand over the Bonfire, as if you were trying to warm your hand. Poof. The bonfire lights up, it's heat warms your body. You have a seat, wondering what to do next.
ENOUGH PLAY THE GAME
You realize after a few minutes of feeling warmth again, that you must continue. You see a large set of doors in your way. You manage to open them, slowly. You are in a big room, filled with pottery and dust. You walk forward and see an enormous creature jump from the roof, down into the room you are in. It is an extremely large creature, both in height and size. He must be the size of a medium sized house. It has wings, that at first, seem too weak to lift it's body. It's thighs are gargantuan, something you would enjoy if it wasn't for it's horrid scaly skin. It has a tail that looks like a mix between a dragon and a rat. It's teeth are razorsharp, it's eyes threatening. It's breathing quite rapidly, as you can see it's breath in the air, on this chilly day. In it's hands it holds a hammer, an extremely large hammer. This thing is not a dragon, nor is it a rat. It has to be a demon that is guarding this asylum for it's life. It has to be the Asylum Demon that you heard Hollows talk about before they went crazy. Without hesitating, it charges at you.
Please, keep going.
You panic, as this is the first combat you have done in forever. You stand there as the demon brings it's weapon up over it's head. It has no hesitation in it's eyes. You watch as the hammer goes down onto you. It crushes you. You hit the ground, disoriented. Your ears are ringing, you feel like throwing up, but you haven't eaten anything in years. You are caved into the ground. Your spine is broken, along with an arm, and your left leg, the bone is sticking out your leg, you reach for it, but cannot move that far without feeling immense pain. Your skull is in a million pieces inside your head, you wonder how you are not dead yet. Your internal organs are all ruptured and smashed, causing you to cough up blood. You put your hand over your face as you see the demon swing once more. It hits you, killing you. Your body stays in that hole for a second, before disappearing. You see darkness, nothingness. Only for a short while. You awaken, your heart racing. You look around. You are still in the Asylum, but you are by the Bonfire. "Shouldn't I be dead?" You wonder. But then it ticks in your head. You are Undead, Undead cannot die forever. They are stuck with the curse of undeath, until they go Hollow, or manage to find a cure. You stand up, clenching your rotten fists. You walk up to the two big doors, a wall of fog replacing them. You step into the room.
That’s some totally sick DS fan fiction. Are you writing it on the spot?
You step into the room and are instantly killed by some bullshit you literally could not have seen coming falling from the ceiling.
This is why you always roll upon entering a room
This time, the Asylum demon was already waiting for you. He does the same charging move, you remember your combat training from when you were a Knight. You roll, but it's extremely slow. You hit the ground hard. You get back up to realize that you had avoided it's attack. Deciding that dying here is not worth it, you look for an exit. You run towards the door on the other side of the room. You push it, but it doesn't work. You pull it, but it doesn't work. It's locked! You look to your left to see a small door open. The Asylum Demon is gaining on you. You run into the room quickly. The second you step through the door, iron bars shut, closing the door behind you. As you proceed down the stairs, you discover another Bonfire. You do the same as the other, you light it with your hand.
Yes, this is on the spot haha. Anyway.
Are you telling me that this games bullshit gets so bad you had to invent tactical entering action
Think of it like a SWAT team IRL. Usually they don’t have to be as careful as they are entering a building. But they still have complicated methods, just in case it’s needed. In fact, just go ahead and replace all movement with rolling, that usually works.
you really dont need to do that
But just in case. For that one time it is needed.
If I roll off a cliff and die at ANY point, you are being held solely responsible.
You look up to see yourself in a room filled with water. A single Hollow is laying in the pool, twitching every now and then. Trying to talk to it proves to be a useless effort, as he is mumbling one word. Demon. Demon. Demon. Demon. You proceed through the nearby doorway, as you look down the hallway, you see a Hollow holding a bow at the ready. You move to the side as the arrow goes back into the other room. It kills the mumbling Hollow. You see a doorway just a little bit ahead. You run into it as another arrow almost decapitates you. Inside the room, you find two corpses, their flesh rotting and flies surrounding them. On one of the corpses, you find a sword impaled into it's stomach. You give it a tug, and manage to pull it out. Maggots squirm in the hole. Looking towards the second corpse, you find a shield. A Knight's shield, resting next to it. It's just as light as you remember it. You realize that you need to get through the archer to escape this Asylum. The drips of water around you give you more courage to continue. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. You run out, shield in front of you.
Your bad advice will lead me to die constantly, eventually lead to me rage quitting DS forever, and then you will have to answer to the Large Father for scaring off another potential fan.
hibiki, it is VERY hard to do that in ds1 unless you fuck up bad
And I hope you stream, so I can watch your suffering. Though, if you want real advice I HAVE played the game.
I will fuck up bad and it's also all Gamma's fault.
also, if you roll everywher, thats a waste of stamina for an inevitable fight, and youre asking to die
Gamma told me to do it and since it's the first advice I heard it's probably trustworthy
It’s on the internet, it must be true.
so you listen to gamma on this and not the person that has played every game in the series to completion on multiple builds https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/327140393408004106/362646905018253318/pointdown.png
I'm playing it as we speak There's a message in front of a cliff saying there's something hidden in this direction People are so helpful
Hey, I’ll have you know I’ve completed every game except the third one and Scholar because Scholar of the First Sin was an enormous and transparent cash-grab in which they just hit the shuffle button on enemy placement.
The archer manages to fire another arrow, luckily, it hits your shield. Charging the archer seems to have scared him, as he runs away as you try to hit him with your sword, you miss. He runs down the hallway, left, and up some stairs. He could keep going, but decides to stay there. He pulls out a broken straight sword, and tries to attack you. You block it, and slay him. He falls over as you see a white orb go from it, to you. Souls. You remember how souls are what the Undead feed upon. Souls are what make them not go Hollow. They are the only thing that the Undead need. He gave you a small amount, less than 200 souls. You look up to find another fog wall. You put your shield up as you walk through. You walk through to find no one waiting for you, you see a part of the collapsed roof has covered up a cell door. You look through a small crack to see a leg in Iron armor. You think about scavenging, but you're too weak to lift the stones away from the door. You decide to contine going forward. At the end of the hallway, you find you are met with a decision: go up the stairs, or go down some other stairs. You go with your gut and go upstairs. Walking slowly, you hear someone kick something heavy, as you look up, it hits you, literally. Someone had kicked a ball down the stairs, knocking you off the stairs and breaking the wall behind you. You think critically for a second, and check the broken wall. Inside you see the corpse in Iron armor. Except, it's not a corpse. Yet.
SotFS changed a few things around, but yes it was a cashgrab, doesnt make it any less fun, and in some ways is better than 3. actually....its mostly better tbh i enjoy it. now for gods sake hibi at least do a bit of research so you dont think you died for a dumb reason when it was completely justified
You walk up to the body, to find it coughing. It's the man who freed you from your cell. He looks up at you, and chuckles. You look around the room and discover a hole in the roof, and the man is surrounded by rubble. After he talks to you for a little while, he tells you the legend his parents had told him. That one day, an Undead will be able to link the Fire and continue the Age of Fire. You stand in silence as he hands you a green flask, filled with a yellow liquid. He called it the Estus Flask. You take a drink, and you feel like that rock had not even hit you. You realize that it would heal your body of any injuries, since you are undead. The man looks at you one last time. He asks you to leave, saying he would feel ashamed if he were to hurt you after death. As you walk out the room, you hear a stab, scream, and then feel some souls enter your body. You decide to go visit the person you kicked the boulder down, and take care of him.
I've played enough of DS to know some deaths were not justified
He was an easy kill, he thought he had killed you with the boulder, but he was wrong. An easy sword to the neck was all it took to take care of the Hollow. He falls down, and behind him you discover a door. Walking through, you discover 4 hollows, two of which with bows and arrows. The other two wielding broken swords. It was easy to take care of them. As you look forward, you see another fog wall. Walking through it takes you back to the room with the Asylum Demon. Except, you are now right over it on a balcony. It looks up at you. Without thinking, you jump down, and impale it's head with your sword. Gallons of blood leak out as it squirms you off of it. You jump down and see that it isn't dead. This is going to be harder than I thought.
then play 2 or 3 because theyre good practice
At least y'all aren't playing the dlc for bloodborne! The last boss is a cheap ass and doesn't follow the rules. Have freaking fun.
Immediately, it takes it's hammer over it's head and swings, you roll out of the way. You swing your sword, hitting it's right leg as it screams. It starts flying into the air, you back up as it drops onto the ground, creating a shockwave. You put you shield behind your back as you grab your sword with both of your hands. You swing rapidly at the demon, slicing it's legs up back and forth as it lets out one loud yell. It falls on it's stomach. You get on it's back, and impale your sword through the back of it's head. You pull your sword out and get off. The Asylum Demon disappears. You gain a large amount of souls. Looking where it's corpse used to be, you find a key, the key to the door that was previously locked. Walking through, you find that you are at the edge of a cliff, you continue walking to find a bunch of tubba
Continuing, you find that you are at the end of the road. You stand there. All of the sudden you find an enormous crow. It grabs you with it's feet midair, it grabs you, and takes you away from the Asylum. You have no idea what is next. The End. What did you guys think?
fuggin awesome m8!
I've beaten all of the soulsborne games, excluding Demon Souls of course, because, who in their right mind would play Demon Souls?!
Hey!!! Overall Demon Souls was amazing. It had its problems, like the glitchy Man-Eaters, and anything involving a dragon. And the final boss of the swamp area, but the rest of it was really good.
Well, if you say that, then i may watch a walk through or potentially pick it up.
Demons Souls was fucking awesome! i like boletaria and the structre of Demons Souls because it feels cooler than DS
Probably best to see a play through first, as the first Souls game they were experimenting for sure. And they finally cut the online functions so no free practice anymore.
Do one of your descriptions for the Orphan of Kos. That would be awesome to see play out
Wait? Me? it's been forever since I have fought the Orphan of Kos.
