Gonna organize all the news I've found from people who are playing the build at events.
-A and B are normals, mashing makes auto combos
-C is a universal mixup tool, 5C is an overhead, 2C is a sweep
-D switches you with your ally, calling them for an assist is bound to a separate button
-A+D is a reversal, meaning everyone has a DP
-B+C is grab
-Everyone has only forward and backward quarter circle inputs (236 and 214 in Numpad Notation.)
-Everyone also has either j.236 or j.214. not both
-You can use A/B to give the specials new properties. Example: Ragna does 214A for a slash straight downward, 214B for a slash down at a 45 degree angle
-C can be used to meter burn specials
-236236/214214+BC is for supers, MvC style
-You can hold assist to make your partner stay on the field and keep attacking
-The character select screen is split into categories, BB, P4A, UNIST, and RWBY as well as an etc. tab :eyes:
-We were told not to hold any roster expectations from the screen, apparently this isn't even an alpha build and everything is basically placeholder
-There will be more BB reps than reps from other series
-We were told to expect lots of fanservice
tl;dr: The game seems very simple, and any roster scares you may have had can rest easy for now. We might get some character reveals next week.
