Numbers
Work as one and type in every positive integer in succession. I will start. 1.
F*ck's an integer?
F*ck's an integer? Google it. I will continue the next few to help you get the idea. 2,3,4,5,6,7,8.
Your topic ideas.... need some work, man.
An integer is a whole number. Anyways, chill with the topics man. You don't need to make a bunch of topics in order to be "experienced" with Phansite. In fact, posting too many may end that experience early.
Yeah. And not topics like these. No one will want to play a 'game' of typing out numbers. Just start out by replying to topics that interest you and go from there. Maybe try the PMs too.
On the contrary, games like these can be fun. But they need a little more... spice.
That's what I mean. As is, it's not a game, just a literal "number your posts".

No. It's not. It's just "Post a number after someone else posted a number". Look up the actual Phorum Games, like the Last Post Thread. wait no that's a bad example
Nah it's definitely a game, but we here at the Phantom Forum happen to be too... cynical for that. Plus I will say I think it could've been presented better. And we've had like, two of these before.
A game is not something a computer program could do. Or even coding. Maybe a starting point for an interesting concept, but not as is.
Try to replicate the various games irl. This just involves counting.
A game is not something a computer program could do. Or even coding. Maybe a starting point for an interesting concept, but not as is. So Chess, Go, Checkers and every video game which uses a CPU is not a game. Okay...
A game is not something a computer program could do. Or even coding. Maybe a starting point for an interesting concept, but not as is. Excuse me? Are you telling me that video games are not games?
That's a bad example. Games do not play themselves. They are designed for player input. Mishima could literally code the forums to number our posts; and that's the whole 'game'.

But it's still technically a game. It's barely a game but at the very least it counts as one. Anyways, let's get off this topic, please. Er, the topic of conversation that is. This isn't going to go anywhere.

It's not going anywhere, just like the idea itself. And that is the most inane thing I've ever read, Android.
That's a bad example. Games do not play themselves. They are designed for player input. Mishima could literally code the forums to number our posts; and that's the whole 'game'. To the contrary, there are a wide variety of idle-focused games on the internet which fit under the game category, but you could argue they're not really games. More to the point, lets look at a fairly common example in speedrunning. There is a significantly large speedrunning group, known as Games Done Quick, which stream speedruns of games for charity purposes One of the main attractions is what they call the Tazbot, a computer program designed to play a game perfectly, so as to attain the fastest playthrough with no chance of human error. Tazbot has been programmed to play a wide variety of games, but just because a computer program can do it, does not mean they aren't games, does it? Now, lets look at another example. One common feature in RTS games is for a spectate option in which you can watch AI of various levels face each other to help you learn the basics of the game. Although the game CAN be played by a program, and there is a feature in which that is exactly what happens programmed within, but that does not make it no longer a game. It stops being a game when someone takes it and makes an issue come up, at which point no one is having fun.

You're comparing a game where you literally just number your posts to video games, people. Seriously. Whoosh. There goes my original point.
I genuinely think Togo is kind of a dick at time, but I'm with 'em.

Taz, as in the Tazmania Devil? Yes, I'm a dick to people who make pointless thread like yours.

So yes, when you say its not a game because one could program a computer to do it, of course people will make direct counterpoints to that. If you wish to lead an argument in a different direction, please state it more clearly
