White Mansion - A Rose for a New Blood
[This is what happens when you need money and choose the first thing you find on the news paper. In the middle of Kichijouji, next to Inokashira Park, a beautiful and gigantic white mansion made its grand opening. What its purpose was, nobody knew, but a bunch of lonely guys were waiting outside. A small sign outside of it read "Boy meets Girl". And so, Kazuya was waiting outside, wearing a formal suit, decorated by his red face.]
Kazuya: "P-Please, come in those looking for their other half! In this place of speed dating taken to the max!"
[How embarrassing. But it was clear now, some girl was now waiting inside of the great mansion.]
{Yui suddenly finds herself sitting on an elegant chair in front of a pure white table.}
Ehhhh! This isn't my first class.
{Gently placing her golden sword on the table in front of her. She begins to frantically search around.}
Balder.
Tsukiyumi.
Where are you guys!?
{She remains seated but does an occasional head flip as if attempting to catch sight of something.}
This better not be another prank guys.
In the distance, a man hauling a milk tank was approaching. His eyes glancing about the place,
but his expression calm. This wasn't the Tokyo he knew, it didn't have that feel to him. The large mansion all but confirmed his thoughts. He couldn't help but grin at the sign... and the guys next to it.
Aren't you a little old for this? You kids should be studying! Didn't you know you're supposed to spend your HIGH SCHOOL years frolicking about your misadventures?
Ansem appears from a portal of DARKNESS
Hello it is I, Ansem, Seeker of DARKNESS! I am interested in finding my other half. I guess that means you can call me, Ansem, Seeker of his other half....
That sounded much better in my head...thats filled with DARKNESS!
Filia walks into the grounds around the mansion, for some reason the man screaming about darkness gives her an entirely too Skullgirl vibe for being comfortable, regardless she keeps her hat on and walks around a bit. Wondering what exactly sort of place she's stumbled into now.
[Kazuya blinked a couple of times at the newly arrived men, he quickly tried to keep his cool and professional attitude, he really wanted to keep a job for once.]
Greetings! I can tell you are interested in the...activities. Dating I mean, if that's the case, then I ask you to follow me, your other half might be waiting on the other side of the door.
*Jiyu, in his Shujin uniform, stands in front of the mansion*
What the hell is this place?

Ooohh, pretty!
A eager looking girl, seemingly a high school, enters the premises, looking around like a tourist.
Uhhh, I just came to see the castle, I'm absolutely not interested in speed dating, okay!? Not at all!
The wanderer holds his head straight on toward Kazuya, but almost imperceptibly assesses the group gathering at the mansion.
Dating? I never thought myself the dating type... too busy working. Hey, kid...
The man sets down his canister, and glances sidelong at Kazuya.
This sounds a bit fishy, but it sounds entertaining to say the least. Count me in, but not too in... I might want to drop if it gets to a certain point, y'hearin' me?
Ansem follows Kazuya in
I am really hoping to meet my other half. In all my life of DARKNESS I never would have thought I would meet them. If it weren't for all this DARKNESS I would be smiling right now.

[Kazuya was absolutely amazed by the big number of people gathering, and for simplicity sake, he simply turned around, made a quick gesture for them to follow him as he moves inside the mansion.]
Those who want in just come this way...
Okay so...I need to tell all of you this, we are not R rated so don't expect anything +18. Second, all we have is...one girl for the moment, and I will be in the same room making sure nothing goes to crap.
[He lazily points at the shealt on his back, closer to a door on the second floor.]
Uh...you can ask me anything too, I'm just doing my job anyway.
[Kazuya steps through the door, into an ample white room with a single table with two chairs. A girl is sitting on the other side of it and remaining chair is empty.]
I guess you guys know how dating works...uh...loud, short haired guy who thought this was rated M for Mature, you can go first. I don't care much who goes after.
[Kazuya waves his hand at the girl he didn't really see until now with a tired smile before walking to the other side of the room, leaning against the wall.]
{Yui returns Kazuya's wave with a faint smile and pointedly gazes down at her lap to avoid eye contact.}
So does anyone know what is going on here?
{She whispers the question as she carefully sneaks her sword underneath the table.}
I was kind of um supposed to teach a bit today.
Yukiko follows the group inside, listening to Kaz's words.
18+...? Uhh, I've never been in the city much. Are there really places like that here?
She seemed more intrigued than anything, for some reason...
At any rate, it's nice to meet everyone! I'm Yukiko Amagi. I run an inn, I'm in high school, and uhh, I really like cooking... Even if I'm not that great at it... Um, anyway! I hope we all get along!
Filia shrugs as she walks along, wondering what in the hell she happens to be doing here... Oh well at least this might turn out amusing if she's lucky! Either way it's likely best to tell the one in charge she's not really here to take part before she's tossed into it or something.
"I'll go... I guess never? Not gonna lie Mr I'm more here cause I've just got nothing to do around this place then for speed dating or anything so uh yeah. Oh I guess it's nice to meet you... I'm Filia, so who are you? And for that matter what's the deal with just two people working here anyways?"
She smiles before raising an eyebrow, this place is pretty curious to say the least... And for some reason the guy doesn't really seem the type to run something like this either.
*he enters into the Mansion with his curiosity kicking in*

The man steps into the room, almost pleased with the simple design.
I guess we get to watch each other's attempts? It might be good for an easy chuckle, but don't work yourselves too hard. I can't treat broken hearts that well. I guess it's good this stuff's public, peer pressure might lead to some different actions.
The man eyes the sword, but says nothing. He couldn't guarantee what it'd be for, so it'd be better to just take things as they come.
Looks like everyone else is just as clueless as I am. Might as well make with the introductions, I'm Date, Date Akira. Nice to meet'cha!
{Remembering her manners Yui quickly attempts to stand up and bow.}
Wha-!
{Her foot catches on a piece of red carpet and she falls on his bum.}
Owwww
{Her eyes wince in pain as a slight blush appears on her cheeks.}
*he helps Yui up*
You alright?
*Jiyu puts his head down in disappointment*
*Sigh* Good grief.
[Kazuya raises an eyebrow at Yukiko for a moment before speaking up.]
Well...yeah, usually in the red areas of the city.
[He then clears his throat and blushes a bit at Filia's question. It was kind of embarrassing to tell this one story.]
I should just say it now. I'm Kazuya Yasuo, a simple employee and guy looking to make a living, and this place was looking for one...It's nice to meet you. This place just opened today and I haven't met the owner but...after a while, you just stop making questions.
[Kazuya laughs]
The owner could be Cupid himself, maybe just some guy or woman? Who knows. Just have fun.
Yukiko bowed lightly to Akira and Kazuya.
It is a pleasure to meet you, Date-san, Yasuo-san. Or, do I call you Akira-kun and Kazuya-kun? Is that how this works...? I'm afraid my work at the inn has left me a little confused in relaxed settings like this. My apologies.
Yukiko seemed to confuse herself amidst her eagerness.
Out of the corner of her eye, she notices the interaction between Hunter and Yui.
Wow, a connection already? Speed dating really is speedy!
She giggled, but seemed quite serious...

I'm a first year student at Zeus' Academy and I really don't know whats going on either.
{She then offers Hunter a gentle pat on the shoulder.}

*he hears Yukiko's giggling and looks*

*a noticeable bulge begins to writhe under his right armored, black leather gloves*
[Kazuya rubs the back of his head.]
If it's about this place, then I already explained.
But when it comes to this place, how and why...
[Kazuya shrugs.]
I have no idea, I just want the money. And guarding a "special" girl seemed like a good idea, I didn't know it was speed dating, though.
Date shrugs. He isn't entirely certain how often they'd meet, if they'd ever meet again.
Whatever's easier for you, I'm not too picky on how people call me. I'm just here to see some poor saps embarrass themselves, if I'm being completely honest. Maybe even strike out myself, who knows! If it's all in good fun, it's fine by me.
Date sets the canister down, and sits atop it. It's more comfortable than the floor at least.
Alright we've done our intros, let's get this show on the road!
"Just stop questioning? Honestly I know exactly what you mean Kazuya, let's just say I've seen some pretty weird stuff and leave it there for now. Either way I'm sure there's some fun to be had here!"
And with that the teenager smirks and leans back on a wall, geez this sure is one heck of a thing to see. She's not sure who looks more silly here, the guy, or that Yui girl. Falling down like that just seems so... Unreal. Looking away for a moment she turns towards Yukiko. She seems like an interesting one.
"So you run an inn you said right? That's a pretty interesting thing for a girl who can't be much older than I am. How'd ya end up doing work like that so young anyways?"
*he takes a seat while he look at his pocket watch*
... Hey Kaz, anything planned when I was away?

{She pensively looks at each of the people in the room.}
It's odd having so many people expect something from me.
But if you all insist then I don't mind using my ability.
{A soft wind begins to circle around her as she clasps both her hands}
{Her eyes close and she points directly at Date.}
You appear to be hiding an ancient sadness behind that kind and mature facade.
Is it possible that you have lost something important?
Doing it for the money eh? Just like everyone else in this damn world.

Yukiko's country ignorance seeped from her very aura, but she remained composed.
Oh, it's nice to meet you, Yui-san! Um... Zues Academy? That doesn't sound very Japanese.
Yukiko appeared to just be going with the flow. She wasn't sure what to do from here, but if she just followed along she'd pick it up, surely! It's just like cooking!
Yukiko perks up as Filia approaches her, her confusion being replaced with a smile.
It's unusual, isn't it? My family runs an inn where I live, so it's passed down from generation to generation. Once my mother retires, I'll be the manager. It's tough work, and there are times when it's a little much, but I like the people there. And if things get too much, I have friends to support me. If you're ever in Inaba, won't you stop in for tea? I can even reserve a room for you, my treat!
Date's expression hardens, but it maintains the happy-go-lucky aura.
Something important... yeah, you could say that. I've got my own worries now, there's no time for dwelling on the past! That's enough about me though, don't let me bring the mood down.
[Kazuya leaves his unfocused stance and looks at Hunter. He clearly wasn't paying attention before but he at least heard the question.]
Nothing really, not that I know of anyway.
It's been really quiet, so that's good...perfect even.
[Kazuya smiles at this. Surely, this new found peace in this world sure was nice.]
Reason as to why I now have a job, or try to have one.

*he take off his glove and itches the writhing mass under his skin*
To be fair. Yharnam is very very quite lately...
She grins at the other girls's offer, it's pretty unusual to see someone saying that... But she does seem honest about it so who knows, maybe one day they'll actually head to this place?
"Inaba huh? Well if I'm ever in town might just take you up on that, sounds like an interesting little place. Never really seen anything like that so it'd be a new experience for me!"
She pauses for a moment, considering if asking people here about this world would really be for the best... Well nothing ventured nothing gained right?
"On another note, uh what can you tell me about this place anyways Yukiko? I've been trying to figure out some details about the city and stuff but nobody's been able to answer so far. This city seems... Like things shift around or something? Not sure what to say, but it's a weird place right?"
If one happened to be paying attention she'd be fairly easy to overhear, not as though she's got reason to be secretive about these questions anyways.
{Yui's eyes open and the wind circling around her suddenly fades.}
{She unclasps her hands and attempts to wave off Date's concern}
You weren't really dampening the mood Date.
I find your former life as a combat medic and your current role to be pretty interesting.
{Her faint smile once again appears as she quickly turns to address Yukiko}
Well my academy is in a separate world just like that tv world of yours.
So the name isn't really that odd.

{She ponders on this.}
Date stands silent, his expression more serious now.
Looks like you've done your research, good... good... It saves me the monologue! But we didn't come here to air out the skeletons in our closets, I came here to watch some youngsters attempt to woo a lady! Let's go! Let's go!
Date quickly regains his pace, despite a lingering feeling of suspicion manifesting toward the girl.

*he looks at Filia which he raises a brow*

*he opens a notepad and writes down some points*
[Kazuya sure was not aware about this strange ability of hers, it certainly was new. His trail of thought quickly disappeared the moment Date speaked loudly. Kazuya covered his ears and pouts.]
Such a loud man...!
But he's right, someone should be acting as if this was an actual date already.
She looks over at Hunter with a curious look on her face, does this man know something about Parasites for some reason? And if so... Is it a general skill for sensing hosts? Or does he happen to know Samson.
"I am? I'm not sure why you'd say that though... I'm just a normal highschool girl you know, so uh what's this that's so interesting about me?"
*he finishes writing his notes*
Just taking some observations. I hate the Kos parasite sometimes... it is always a picky little blood drinker, plus it goes crazy when there is another one near by as well.

PK is drifting along the skies, flying on a skateboard made of 2 swords before he begins to drift around
Oh no! This must be what they call turbulence! This isn't good! Well! Might as well make the most of it! Geronimo!
PK then dives downwards onto the ground, fortunately, or unfortunately he skydives right through the roof of the mansion and lands near everybody
BOOM!
Oof! Whew! Maybe I ate a few too many pancakes with my pancakes!
PK then wanders around in a daze for a while before coming to his senses and waving at everyone
Oh! Hello there! Pancake Knight at your service! What's going on here?
*Jiyu looks at Pancake Knight*
God damnit, I've heard about this guy.
I'm not too sure about this place either... It's like, another dimension or something. I don't even know how I got here. I just hope my friends are okay...
Yukiko grimaces. She looks surprised amongst Yui mentioning the TV world.
Huh? You know about it...? Are you friends with Kirijo-san and the others? I guess if it's like that though, it makes sense... Anything can in that case.
Yukiko looks surprised by Date's loud comments, but seems oddly fired up!

...Even more surprising was the person crashing through the roof!

Date adjusts his seat, he tenses up, but remains seated.
Seems like an alright guy... He's dense I'll give him that. Kind of a familiar personality...
{Yui Instantly freezes up.}

{Her voice stammers as she nervously looks down once again.}
I-I thought this was just one of Zeus' strange tests!

{She abruptly points at Filia}
I'm sure Samsom would feel weird in this situation.

{Her finger then aims at Hunter}
Don't you already have terrible experiences with love!
{She finally lowers her outstretched hand and closes her eyes.}
Filia looks around the room and chuckles, hopefully she can just pass this off as normal... Dealing another Parasite host might not turn out badly, but she'd rather take that risk right now.
"Kos Parasites? I've never heard of anything like that but. Sounds pretty annoying to deal with. I can't envision having something else living in me... What's Kos though? My world has got some Parasites of it's own but uh I've never heard that term before."
[Kazuya is startled by PK's sudden appearance.]

PK, c'mon! This is going to be cut off of my salary, and this is my first day!
[Kazuya has an almost comical expression, it even seemed like he was acting anger in the most obvious way before looking at Hunter.]
I don't even think there is a kitchen...but you can look for one, who knows?
Date stands up and crosses his arms.
So it's not research, unless this girl's really good at acting... Yo!
Date holds his hand to his head, obviously disapprovingly.
It looks like you've got some knowledge you aren't afraid to use, but I'd at least try to make it a point to not spout everyone's history at the drop of a hat, ya gettin' me?

PK then turns to the damsel in distress and lights up like a liightbulb
Oh! Are you in danger Lady? Have no fear Pancake Knight is here! En Garde!
PK then draws his laser blade and sets it to pancake mode,
a yellow laser shoots out and he waves it in front of everyone before turning to Kaz
Salary? What do you mean? Aren't you trying to save this Lady from distress?
[Kazuya walks towards PK with a slightly annoyed expression.]
No damsel in distress, so please put that weapon away, this is a Speed Date, you basically sit down and talk to the cute girl over there and see if she likes you.
My job here is to make sure nothing goes to crap, but you just broke the ceiling.

[Kazuya places both hands on PK's shoulders.]
Turn that thing off, relax and have fun!

She grimaces as the girl shouts about Samson, so much for playing dumb here... What a pain in the ass. She turns to Yui and glares slightly, telling people about that little trick wasn't high on her to do list.
"Well then would you uh like to shout anymore people's secrets Yui? Maybe the guy in white with a weird mask who just showed up? Seriously was it really needed for you to bring up Samson?"
*he turns back to Filia and had a literal minuet of thinking of what to tell her about the living weapon*
The Kos parasite is a weapon gifted to the Great One named Kos. For it has one goals... To aid it's host.
*he wakens the parasitic creature and mangles his wrists to sprout out three, elongated, slimy and pale tendrils while he accidentally slaps himself to salute to Kaz*

*he starts searching for the kitchen*

Yukiko is having fun, in her own weird way as she plays the part of the "damsel".
PK looks very confused as he jumped to conclusions almost immediately, relaxing for a bit, putting away his beam saber and taking a seat
Oh I see! Now I understand! I shall await my turn at this Speed Date then! Panca-
PK then gets interrupted by Yukiko and immediately springs to action, reigniting his pancake saber and jumping up from his seat
I shall save you then! Pancake Knight will not falter to evil! Where is it?
{Yui's eyes widen and she instantly bows in apology to everyone.}

{She blushes as her hands fiddle a bit with the ends of her blazer}
It's a really bad habit I have.
There are just too many unique people here.
{She shamefully bows over and over.}

I guess I'll never understand Japan with their pancake knights wielding laser swords, and those parasites that everyone is talking about.

[He simply chuckled at PK's antics and then turned to face Yui.]
I don't know how hard it is for you to keep secrets, but...I trust you will be careful with this. We don't want our guests to feel uncomfortable.
{Yui sadly gazes at the floor and sighs.}

{She reaches down for her sword.}
It's better if I just leave.
{Picking it up she looks at everyone in the group.}
That way you guys can feel safe again.

Yukiko suddenly feels awkward. She glances curiously at Yui, wondering what she was about to say... Who was she, exactly?
*he returns to the group while pushing a cart of extravagant food*
Ladies and gentlemen! In honor of my friend Kaz present to you, Courtesan au Chocolat, Beef Wellington, orange Turkish Delights, and for the host Kazuya... savory Confit Byaldi. Enjoy the meal everyone.
*he takes a seat and takes a deep breath*

Date continues holding his arms crossed, but his face is sterner now.
Looks like you're being too hard on yourself. Why don't you listen to what your heart has to say? Not whatever's goin' on in that brain of yours. If you're gonna give up like this, of course people'd feel bad around you. I know from experience that nobody likes a quitter.
Date's stern glare softens into a warm smile.
Come on, you just let some words slip, nothin' to it. Not like you told any big secrets.
Oh, all this looks delicious!
Umm... It all looks pretty high in calories though... Am I able to eat any of this?
Fila frowns for a moment... Geez was she really that harsh to this poor girl, sure people finding out about him could get annoying... But there's no sense being around people who can't accept it anyways.
"Hey don't worry about it okay? Sure I wasn't going to just shout it from the rooftops... But maybe I should, if people don't want to deal with Samson then well I really shouldn't be around em to start with."
She smiles at Yui and taps the back of her hat for a moment, suddenly something bursts to life out of her hair and devours the hat whole before leaning over to look at Filia, wondering why exactly he's been woken up when nothing seems to be going on.
S: "Yo kid what's the big idea!? We about ta get in a brawl or something? These people don't really seem like the crowd we fight so I got nothing."
F: "No not that, I'm just not gonna hide you anymore... If I've got to do that to keep people from getting rid of me they're not worth hanging around anyways!"
The parasite forms shoulders and shrugs to himself, life changing moment or no he's more of a fighter than anything anyways.
S: "Well good on you kid! Glad ya ain't scared to show our true colors... But I'll keep napping when you don't need me anyways for the most part yeah? Not like I'm real big on conversation."
And with that... He pulls another hat from her jacket and onto her head before vanishing from sight yet again. Filia simply sighs to herself and mutters something about overly violent loons.
*his parasitic arms goes nuts and it made him get dragged to Filia*
AIE! Why!? Can a guy catch a break?! And yes Ms. Amagi, they are high in calories so best to not have seconds.
["What a complicated job", he thinks. To know nothing about someone who probably knew something about you was a really strange feeling. But regardless, it wasn't something that terrible.]
Even though I have to be around you, I want to know about you too...I know nothing of your world, but we will be seeing each other often, just like with everyone in this room.
[He sighs before giving her a smile.]
Besides, I'm the one that makes sure everyone is safe. So just have fun.

{She then sits with her mouth tightly closed}
[Kazuya blinks a couple of times before speaking up once more.]
H-Hey, Yui? It's kind of necessary that you speak, so...c-can you help us with that?
Yukiko gave Yui a sympathetic look. She's kind of like how she was, before Yu and the others saved her...
Don't worry, Yui-chan. I think you should speak your mind, even if what you say is a bit strange... If you run from yourself, you'll just hurt yourself and the people who care about you.
Filia nods along with Yukiko's words and smirks at Yui, wise words indeed Yukiko Amagi.
"Yeah what she said! Sure it could kinda be a pain sometimes... But honestly in the long run I think you might have helped me out here. So um thanks for that even if you didn't really know what you were doing, frankly it's kinda nice not to worry about what people are gonna think all the time!"
{Yui looks baffled at what Yukiko just said}

I thought I would be doing everyone a favor by not speaking.
{She nervously continue to mess with her blazer}
You know since my words only seem to cause misery.
{Her voice becomes merely a whisper}

"Hey come on, didn't I just say it's a good thing? You shouldn't be so frigging down on yourself ya know Yui, just cause some people didn't like it something doesn't mean ya just cause misery! And if anyone tells you that it does... Just beat em up cause nobody should have to hear that!"
And with that the girl raises a fist into the air excitedly, hopefully Yui will actually take it to heart this time!
*he gets up as the three extra limbs retract back into the wrists making it be covered the arms of a light turqoise mildew like mold*
Now then. Lovely words of encouragement ma'am.
[Kazuya smiled and he too was about to say something, but his COMP vibrated. He decided to check it since it seemed to be important. It was his contractor. The young man sighed, walked closer to Yui and took her hand.]
I know this is sudden, but we have to go for now. So just trust me and come with me.
[Kazuya waved at the group as he tried to lead her out, but not before summoning Cerberus, walking by their side.]
This place is closed for the day, or will be the moment you step out...
But if Yui decides to stay here, then Pascal will keep her company.
[He waves at them.]
I will be waiting outside.

*he looks to the cart of food*
Somewhere in the distance a girl who looks almost identical to Fillia stands hidden watching Fillia. She's surrounded by a strange light that seems to shine as if it were alive. The only thing filling her mind is a desire to be more like Fillia. It seems as if she's arguing with a copy of herself that is intangible and made from a strange energy similar to the light around her.
MF: One day...Fillia...
RF: Not gonna lie, that's a little creepy.
MF: I'm allowed to dream, aren't I?

A very unhappy Fukua steps out from where she was before glaring at Hunter.
MF: Well, what're ya gonna do, huh? Just go ahead and shoot! See what happens punk!
RF: Isn't that a bit forward of you? You don't even know him.
MF: Shutup! If this guy thinks he can get away with firing that thing then he can go ahead and try!

Apologies... I get paranoid due to my Kos parasite... the things talks to me and it is taxing to my mind.
Filia walks out of the building... For some reason she feels as though something is amiss, but hopefully it's not an issue right now, and with the though of someone stalking her in her mind. Filia and the demon in her hair dash out of the are, searching around for some new adventure to go on... Or maybe just another speed dating place, who knows with these two?

Fukua seems to have calmed down a bit as she looks at the ground for a moment before noticing Fillia leave.
MF: Oh, dammit! I gotta go!
Fukua runs off in the direction Fillia went but the intangible copy lingers for a moment.
RF: Goodbye, mister. Hope to see you again.
With that the copy fades into light before trailing back to Fukua. As for where Fukua went, well, one can imagine she's off to chase after Fillia.
