The Return
(A laptop takes center stage of what appears to be a long abandoned room. Bright lights shine down upon it from an indiscernible location providing a ethereal feel. While smooth velvet curtains flapping to hidden ghostly applause happen to cover all the walls. The atmosphere is practically dripping with suspense as if awaiting a second act.)
(On the laptop is a familiar text box filled in with some pretty fancy cursive. The prompt itself appears to be a bit on the fantastical side. )
Do you wish to enter a land of infinite possibilities?
>Yes
>No
[Kazuya walked forward and into the room, without exactly knowing why he did it and how he got here.]
Still, I guess I will have to find out the hard way.
[Nodding with determination, Kazuya presses the key.]
>Yes
(Inside an unusual blue haired girl awaits lazing around on a pretty sweet bean bad cushion. The girl is currently locked in an intense battle on her phone as her legs carelessly make arcs in the air. As she does this a tiny black snake with ruby eyes rests on her head and simply peers over to gaze at the phone. )
Gamma was simply walking by when he saw another, familiar figure enter. Kazuya's been searching for a job, perhaps this is related? No matter, he has nothing better to do, so he follows.
Looking around, the room seems somewhat familiar, like he's been there a few times. No matter,
he follows Kaz inside, just as before, he walks over to the screen and hits
>Yes
As Dr. Kinasu enters the room, he is greeted with the laptop. Seeing it makes his eyes light up.
Whoa! This must be ancient technology or something!
He then reads the text on screen.
Infinite possibilities? Hmmm.... Interesting.....
He pushes yes, out of curiosity.

[Kazuya stands there, simply wondering what he should say in a situation like this. It was fairly simple and didn't requiere much thought, but he still felt a bit restless, especially with that snake still around. Shrugging his worries away, he speaks up]
It's been a while, hasn't it, Ene?
[Kazuya tries to keep his smile, walking forward towards her.]
Once inside, Gamma decides to give Kaz his space, instead turning and bowing to the newcomer
Well, I haven't seen you around before, pleasure to meet you.... Uh... Anyways, my name's Gamma, care to tell me yours
Gamma holds one hand out to Dr. Kinasu, as though hoping for a handshake
Looking around at the scenery, he soon realizes gamma holding out his hand to him.
Oh. Hi there! Names Dr. Kinasu, but you can just call me Kina if you want.
With that, he shakes gammas hand Eith joy and a nerd, yet cute, smile on his face.
*Dropping her phone in surprise, Ene ignores the metallic clatter of it instead running over to Kazuya and giving him a bear hug. A wide smile forms on her face as she shakes him a bit with the hug.*
Yeah it has been way too long friend!
*The snake watches the warm welcome from the cushion*
I missed seeing all you guys! It got so boring only having Snake-Chan to talk with and all the planning that had to take place ...
*She let's go of Kazuya only to throw her hands against her face and groan*
It was so ugggghhhh. Figuring stuff out. It was beginning to feel like forever and a half!
Gamma sighs and lets go of Kinasu's hand, its nice to see he's friendly at least, better than many of those other guys.
Well then Kinasu, look forward to seeing you around sometime.
Gamma yawns as he turns back to Ene, he awkwardly glances at the snake.... But decides to focus on Ene instead
Honestly, I've missed you too. And that goes for both of you. Its nice having someone sane around. Still, even I've made a few friends in the meantime. Has it really just been the two of you?
[Kazuya chuckles at her usual childlike behavior and exaggerated actions. Indeed he was glad to see her, and so he simply placed his hand on her head.]
It really is nice to see you!
But...what is this about a plan?
Gamma sighs and closes his eyes for a moment, making an exaggerated shrugging motion
Honestly, we're going to see soon enough. Do you really have to ask a lady's secrets? Its quite rude you know. *chuckle* Besides, aren't you going out with that "Boss" chick already?
*Ene looks down for a moment with a narrowed gaze and upon being petted by Kazuya she manages to meet Gamma's focus with her usual doe eyes.*
Well yeah the two of us decided to take a vacation together after the sheer number of things that occurred.
*She casually places both her arms behind her head and let's out a laugh.*
Things got kind of stressful so we just bailed. Naughty I know but these months have been a bit helpful for the two of us.
*Her eyes take on a mirthful look*
As for what I have planned just wait and see~

[Kazuya narrows his eyes as he slowly turns to Gamma with an almost horrified expression.]
Are you kidding? I've fought demons and worse with nothing but a sword, but Boss honestly scares me.
Usually, the cute ones are the most dangerous, besides she made me blind until today.
Almost if on cue, Arkade walked up to the group.
Hello! So you all said yes too, am I right?
*Ene suddenly gasps and looks at Kaz with a smirk.*
So you went and got a lady friend?
Ooooh what is she like?
Will she visit too?
What is her name?
*She begins to interrogate Kazuya on the "boss" of his*
Gamma sighs and shakes his head
Trust me, I know to fear the cute ones. First Lucifer... Then Homura.... Can we just have a normal child for once? Like, someone who's mostly just cute? Is that really too much to ask for?
Gamma takes out a small chunk of ice and begins tossing it back and forth between his hands,
casually glancing over to Ene
Anyways, I take it you're just about ready to show then? If its like your previous acts, you were likely hoping for actors. In which case.
Gamma makes a dramatic, flourishing bow towards his two hosts
Consider me a part of the stage.
Eh, me too. I can't resist a good act, and this seems like one of those acts.
[Kazuya tries to dismiss Ene's questions by ignoring her, still looking at Gamma.
Who would've guessed the pink haired teenager who dressed like a stage player would talk like this?
R-Regardless, whatever it is, I'm ready for it.
Eeeh an act!?
*Ene tilts her head in confusion as she peers over at the snake for a possible answer. The snake does nothing and just continues to stare at all the gathered people.*
Whatever gave you people that idea ...?
I was just planning to you know just create worlds again.
But if it's a show you want ...
*She suddenly breaks out into a pose complete with a winning grin and her eyes glinting red momentarily.*
Then quite the show it will be my friends!
And what will this show be about?
Gamma blinks a few times, eyes open wide, he laughs nervously, glancing back at the snake, then over to Arkade
My apologies, last few times we met were something like a show, so I merely assumed. 'Tis nothing important of course. Though... World building again... Afraid I don't really have much of an idea of that.
Gamma sighs and briefly looks around the empty room
I think I've had enough of home for a little bit. Perhaps you have an idea Arkade?
.....so what is this place?
He continues to look around, being confused.
Never been here before.
Maybe we should just look around this room. We might be missing something.
Arkade immediately goes to look around the room, looking for something noteworthy.
*Messing with one of her pig tails she nervously begins to laugh.*
Well you see ...
*She mumbles out.*
I didn't quite plan that far yet ...
Umm haha sorry~
*Her laughter becomes a bit boisterous as the snake slaps it's own face with it's tail.*
Sooo anyone got any ideas to start us off?
[Kazuya looked at her red eyes and his mind wandered into the past for a bit, especially with the snake just observing.
I thought you decided to stop the ship forever, what made you change your mind?
More importantly, will it be anything dangerous...?
I don't want the younger ones to get hurt.
Well, maybe a mountain? They usually have some dramatic atmosphere.
Ooh! If you want a cool atmosphere, put a lab somewhere!
Gamma claps his hands together, quite loudly as though trying to drown out Kazuya's concerns
Alright, mountain it is. Thank you for giving us something to start with. Just stand back, all you newcomers, and be ready to be amazed at what my good friend Ene can do. Alrighty then?
Sounds awesome!
He sits down with starry eyes, exited to see what will happen.
(Upon searching about the room Arkade finds a dismal pile of discarded snacks, plenty of video games, and some merchandise from various shows. Not quite the interesting sight to see until he stumbles upon a tattered old notebook bound with what appears to be pink ribbon.)
*Ene thinks for a moment and frowns.*
I don't really know what convinced me to do this all again ...
I guess I got kind of bored here. I also kind of missed everyone so this is sort of my excuse for seeing you people again.
*She puts her smile back on and looks toward Dr. Kinasu.*
Well this used to be my place of business until some stuff happened. Now it's my home until I can find someplace better and more interesting.
*She then snaps her fingers*
Time for some fun adventures! Brace yourselves!
Huh, neat. Also whatdoyoumeanbybraceyourselveeeeeeeeees!!!!!!

He pushes a button. Where he got it: Even I, the narrorato,
don't know. A helmet appears on his head.
This is gonna be so cool!
[Kazuya sinply covered his ears at Arkade's loud voice.]
Noisy, so noisy.
[He had two sword with him, and his COMP was functioning still. "Good to knoe I keep these with me even if just in case" he thought. Despite being glad to know Ene was fine, it was the snake that made him the most worried.]
What's wrong Snake-chan, did the cat bite your tongue or something?
(The walls of the main room suddenly fall flat and melt away revealing layers upon layers of snow all around. A mighty chill appears accompanying the snow and seeping into the bones of every single person there. White particles of snow blow about in gusts with the assistance of the icy wind and grey clouds cover the once light blue ceiling of the world. The ground is ultimately replaced by feet of snow hiding any possible slopes or cracks that may exist. While the top of the mountain composed of grey rock blocks the sun casting a long dark shadow over everyone as it remains there imposing. The book from earlier is now gone and possibly buried beneath the white simplicity of snow.)

Gamma sighs and watches the two newcomers panic for a moment
Honestly, its not that big of a deal. Usually a pretty smooth transition actually. Nothing to worry about.
Gamma continues tossing his small shard of ice, casually glancing at Kaz out the corner of his eye
Has the snake ever actually talked to you? You know, they're usually silent. Use sign language or whatever. I think you might be overreacting a bit
Wow. I don't have any words. Wait, I do. That was awesome.
As he says this, a look of glee appears in his eyes.
*Unfazed by the cold Ene walks over to the snake and carefully places him on top of her head. The Snake instantly curls up in his new position managing to glare at Kazuya as he does so.*
Well how do you like it people?
*She wraps her arms across her chest and smugly gazes at the world she created.*
Pretty sweet isn't it!
At this point, his eyes have gone full on anime starry eyes.
SO COOL!
His....skin? Turns from grey to a light red, probably indicating a thing.
That was amazing miss..... Ummm..... Who are you again?
Arkade decides to put his hand to the ground, feeling the snow.
It's all real. Wow. And I never thought I would see something this special in my lifetime.
Gamma walks around the mountaintop, kicking away at piles of snow in his boredom
Eh, seems a little weird to me. A strange mix of something happening with the weather, and nothing happening. Like, can't really enjoy the pleasant mountain scenery with the winds and clouds, but there's not much here beyond white to do.
Gamma grins and puts both hands behind his head, finally turning back to Ene
Overall, I'd give it a five out of ten, not bad, but I know you can do better.
So cold, should've brought a bigger jacket...!
[Is the only comment Kazuya can make about the sudden change. He considers bringing out Pascal to help with his fire, but he was also very weak to cold, even more so than himself.
Act all you want, it's okay.
[Kazuya glares back at the snake with a very primal rage inside of his eyes as he ignores Gamma's comment. His expression goes back to the usual carefree smile he has and looks at his surroundings with more detail]
I actually forgot how impressive this can get...
She can do better?!? Wow, and this is just a five. Heheheheh...HAHAHAHAHA!
Arkade begins to burst out in joyful laughter, head turned to the sky.
*She bows taking in all of the compliments with a hint of a blush on her cheeks.*
Just call me Ene the miracle worker everyone or maybe Takane the world creator.
Whichever sounds better to you! I really can't decide between the two.
*She gazes up at the peak of the mountain with a pleased expression.*
I almost forgot how nice it felt to show stuff to people.
*She them whispers.*
Almost makes me wish people could be better~
OK, Ene it is! Nice to meet you!
Once more, he gives a cute, nerdy smile.
*Ene raises an eyebrow at Gamma's comment and a smirk begins to form on her face.*
Oh is that a challenge Gamma?
I could certainly do more but someone told me to keep it safe~
*She yawns*

Gamma chuckles and looks over towards the mountain's peak
Please, we all know that Kazuya's the boring one. Whatever it is, well, I have yet to meet someone actually normal here. So, I doubt these newcomers will struggle too much. And as you know, I'm practically invincible
Gamma glances back to Arkade and shrugs, before walking towards the peak, kicking up snow in his wake
Well, I suppose a simple hike would work. I'm at my best in the cold, so it really shouldn't be too hard to traverse.
Well, off we go!
Arkade begins to walk off in one direction before turning around.
Wait...we don't know where to go first. Right.
Ene it is then my friends.
*She swings a bit on the heels of her feet as the snake appears indifferent to everything around it*
So I guess we scale the mountain then hope you all can stand the cold~
*Falling behind she covertly sneaks in a finger snap as the snake grins in it's indifferent stupor.*
I got that too!
He pulls up a strange keyboard, and types in a bunch of 0s and 1s. Suddenly, a holographic map Of The mountain appears and the optimal path appears highlited.
Huh...well I guess we go that way!
Arkade then begins to walk off towards the optimal path.
Gamma sighs and looks over to Kinasu, convenient little map there, but not something entirely unexpected
Alright, lets have it then. Your sciency route-correctness, and my grit and homefield advantage, say we race? In that case, lets go.
Gamma finally takes off towards the peak, of course, he's unable to run on such a steep slope,
but still manages to progress significantly more quickly than before
Hey,wait up! He types some more things into his keyboard, then his sneakers turn into rocket boots as he speeds after arkade. He also realizes that gamma challenged him, and he wasn't gonna take that. He would win that, so he goes slightly faster.

Well, if you all take your own paths, then I should take my own too!
Arkade then begins to take a path seperate from the Doctor and Gamma.
[Kazuya, in complete silence decides that for the sake of his health, he would put his hands inside his pockets. He also decides to stay behind for a bit, deciding to walk behind Ene, still glaring at the Snake, but prepared to act in case abyone confronts him.]
I'll just take my time I guess.
*Ene shrugs and slowly makes her way up from behind not quite caring about the scenery.*
So any reason why you didn't just rush ahead?
*She passively asks to Kazuya*
(The race is on as everyone separates with the sole intention of reaching the peak. Gamma with his home field advantage manages to decently scale the slope of the mountain until he reaches a cavern that emanates a strange yet familiar sound. He find himself attracted to the noise since it reminds him of something he holds near and dear. Dr Kinasu manages a great deal of distance as well but the heat of his rocket boots destabilize the snow triggering a mini avalanche headed towards him. While Arkade following the rear creates his own path and carefully moves forward until he sees what appears to be an injured man laying against the slope.)
Okay...that's interesting.
Arkade begins to cautiously approach the injured person, ready to run at a moment's notice.
*whispering* Oh shoot! Avalanche!
He attempts to dodge the rocks, trying to speed ahead while using less fire, only using small flames while running decently quickly.
Gamma walks into the cave hearing the sound of.... Laughter? Its.... No, we've been through this
I... I've... I thought....
Gamma takes a deep breath to collect his thoughts, before he continues moving forwards
This is an Ene thing, it'll be fine. I mean, what's the worst that could happen, a fight breaks out? Besides, the hotel actually worked out great. I mean, never got confirmation on that one, but who else would do something like that?
[Kazuya smiles at her and thinks for a moment.]
Well...I just enjoy your company, friend, and besides, it's been a very long time since we last saw each other.
[He chuckled with embarrassment.]
(As Arkade nears the injured man he is able to hear a low moan of agony. Upon closer inspection it appears that the man is in a half lucid state of pain with his leg twisted at an odd angle. Equipped in the finest climbing equipment the man certainly appeared ready to handle the mountain but a hanging chord above hints at his apparent fall. Odd thing is the man appears to be half dead with taut, graying skin and bones poking out against his shriveled up frame.)
(Dr Kinasu manages to dodge the initial rockfall but even the slight swathes of flame from his boots slowly melt away at the foundations of the snow. The snow above him begins to tremble as if providing a a last warning before utter collapse.)
(Continuing forward Gamma soon arrives at a bonfire surrounded by young women of his age. The many young ladies have pointed ears and unusually light clothing given the environment yet they seem to not have a care in the world. The majority of them dance around the flames to the tune of what lured Gamma in and even now the music seems to meld with it's surroundings. A few of the young women notice Gamma but simply smile at him and beckoning him over to the dance.)
It has been way too long since I last saw you ...
But why are you really here Kazuya?
*Ene continues to push forward without looking back as she says this. While the snake remains still and silent on the top of her head.*
Shit, I don't know how to handle this. I guess I can do what I can, maybe see if he can make it up with me.
Gamma sighs and nervously walks towards the bonfire, rather than joining in, he remains at the edge of the area, leaning against a nearby wall and sighing
Honestly, I'm not likely to be here long. Just.... Heard and came in to see. No need to worry, you're good to continue on or whatever. I've never been much of one for crowds.
He begins to think to himself "If I keep going, I might get swept away by the snow...." And begins to type on his keyboard again. The rocket boots turn into something similar to roller skates, but combined with cars. Once more, he speeds ahead, hoping that it might not cause anymore avalanche warnings, or worse-an actual avalanche.
[Kazuya keeps quiet for a moment. He still was unsure of her current "relationship" with the snake, but he knew what the thing wanted, did, and how it achieved those things. Yes, he was still around because he wanted to save Ene after failling long ago, even consting Jackman's life, and almost Kalib's.]
Why I really am here, Ene?
[This wasn't just doing the right thing anymore, he knew this was also for the sake of payback, revenge. Kazuya was not a fool, as much as he disguised himself as one. But for this time, in order to save Ene and make his partners' efforts not be in vain, he had to hide the truth.]
I...simply wanted to see you, Ene.
Right now, I don't know what will happen in the near future.
(The injured man continues to moan in his barely aware state unable to even notice Arkade. A patch of red grows apparent beneath his twisted leg and only increases as time flows on.)
(As the music crescendos into a fanciful tune generating even more familiar memories a few of the ladies dance their way towards Gamma. Not heeding his words they continue to push in close to him while offering a hand or two. Some even get close enough that their strands of thin hair touch Gamma and appear to capture some warmth from him. Tiny glass wings can be seen on the back of a few of the females glinting in the light of the fire. )
( Dr Kinasu successfully avoids the avalanche possibility and makes his way forward up the mountain. Passing the other two he makes it to a crossroads first and finds what appears to be two caverns in front of him. Behind the two caverns are a mountain of white that seem to capture sunlight and the top of the mountain can't be seen due to the clouds.)
Arkade rips some fabric off of his sleeve and ties it around the man's bleeding leg.
Okay, that should slow or stop the bleeding. I should look around, maybe I can find some sticks to use for a splint.
The boy begins to search the area around the man, and search the man to see what supplies he has.
That must be the peak! I must be getting close!
He decides to go to the left, dashing ahead.
The future is certainly a big mystery to us all.
*Ene stops as she says this and faces Kaz with tears in her eyes. She hastily attempts to wipe them away but a few sniffles manage to escape in the process.*
I-I can't tell you how nice it feels to hear that you just came to visit me ...
It's been so long since anyone really did that. And I felt kind of lonely. And bored.
*She once again turns to gaze at the mountain and continues up a set of stone stairs that just appeared.*
I got tired you know of all this we don't trust you business.
So I just decided to run even if it hurt more.
*She continues upward until she reaches the top. She then halts in wait for Kazuya.*
Gamma sighs and summons forth his persona, the dragon's image being used, not to actually do anything, but merely in hopes of getting some space
You know, its rather rude to just remain silent, don't you think? Maybe you could try talking, or asking someone? That might work an awful lot better if you're looking for dance partners. Language was invented for a reason
[Kazuya is taken aback by her reaction. It was...sadness, he could perfectly understand how she felt, and even a setiment of guilty made his own chest feel heavy, but despite having missed Ene, he still needed to do whatever it took to make sure she would be fine.]
Well...you are here now, and I am, and also everyone. You also brought back your shop and I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun from now on, I promise!
[He just let his feelings do the talk, even if he knew it could make things worse eventually. With this in mind, he quickly followed Ene to the top. From there, he takes a look at the scenery with a smile before turning to her.]
This ability of yours really is amazing, I...actually heard of VR in my world, but nothing quite like this...I feel so out of place at times.
(Arkade barely finds anything in his search around the area leaving him with nothing but cold hands. Luckily, his search through the man's belongings yield better results with a basic first aid kit being secured and an unusual black box that has written on it "For emergency only". A this point the man's moans appear to be growing weaker and weaker.)
(Dashing ahead Dr Kinasu is thrown into the dark upon entering the cavern. It is usually warm inside the cavern and the terrible odor of stale meat comes from everywhere. A few stray branches can be found yet everything else is trapped in this strange gooey substance. The once peaceful quiet of the mountain has also been replaced with a rumbling that shakes the very area itself.)
(The ladies look to each other for a mere moment before finally opening their mouths revealing multiple sets of sharp fangs. Unfazed at the image of the dragon they lunge toward Gamma having grown tired at the show of patience. The bonfire behind them roars to life at their reveal and their glass wings infused with fire grow bigger. The glass wings become more jagged as well as if the ladies are preparing to use them as knives.)
Okay, let's see if this first aid kit can help. If it can't...
He glances toward the black box.
Well, I'll cross that bridge if it comes to it.
Gamma chuckles and steps back, however, as he's against the wall already, there's not much of a place to go, resulting in him mostly just standing there awkwardly
Gee, looks like you ladies can't get enough of me, can you? Haven't you heard of personal space?
Shiranui, Ice Age.
Gamma's persona circles him once more and roars, raising a stalagmite-sized spike of ice to meet each of the creatures as they lunge towards its owner. It forms a sort of barrier of spears around him while Gamma remains against the wall, looking around for a possible break for him to push through
*Ene brilliantly smiles at Kazuya's compliment and gazes out at the frozen mountainside*
Yeah this world of mine certainly is amazing isn't it. Sometimes I even stun myself when I make stuff like this.
*She awkwardly rubs her head after saying this.*
Don't tell anyone though!
This lady needs to keep her secrets.
*Turning to face Kazuya with a wide smile she sticks out her hand.*
Let's shake on our awesome friendship and future friend ...
I mean Kazuya!
W-what the!?
He attempts to type in some more stuff on his keyboard.
A light appears on his helmet, allowing him to see the goo.
What is this stuff?
He gently pokes at it.
(Inside the first aid kit Arkade is able to find the materials needed for a makeshift splint and some pain medication.)
(Many of the ladies get impaled against the opposite cavern wall by Shiranui but they still manage to squirm about without showing any pain. As a lady gets impaled another seems to take her place having melted the spike of ice previously piercing her. As time goes one some of the ladies even grow wise and begin to melt the spikes as they come using their own fire breath. Yet this process takes time so there is a gap left open as each new wave of ladies gets pierced only to be replaced by the next. The gap grows noticeably shorter and shorter as the replacement process is quickened but so far it still exists.)
(Dr Kinasu is able to quickly find out that the goo is actually snot.)
Okay, he should be able to be fine with this stuff. I'll just apply it and go.
After putting on the splint and making sure he was not going to die, Arkade goes off again.
They're all probably there already...But who knows?
[Kazuya shakes her hand immediately and gives her a warm smile.]
Of course, I wouldn't just tell anyone something like this, just know that it's truly special.
But I will keep my mouth shut...Takane.
[Kazuya's smile widen more as he says her namefor once. Even though "Ene" sounded cooler, she did call him by his name.]
Ewww....snot...... Wait.... That means someone else is here.......
He looks around, hoping to not find anything weird. He also holds a raygun in defence.
Gamma sees his chance and runs for the gap, summoning his persona once more as he approaches the middle of the ladies
Sorry to cut my visit so short ladies, but its time for me to move on. Next time, try not to kill your partners, that would be a good start if you're lonely
Shiranui, Deathbound.
A wave of force emanates outwards from Gamma, primarily to push the ladies back and give him more space, after all, once he's out of the cave he's as good as free
(The rumbling of the cavern momentarily becomes more intense as a strong wind blows in attempting to pull Dr Kinasu in deeper. Yet instead the opposite effect occurs once the wind reverses and instead Dr Kinasu finds himself about to be blown out of the cavern. As he struggles some of the items within the cavern mainly the snot begin to blow out through the area in which he is standing.)
(Leaving the injured man behind and heading forward Arkade eventually ends up in the same divergent path that Dr Kinasu found himself at. However, instead of two caverns Arkade finds a huge scaly body blocking his path as the clouds momentarily split to reveal an equally fearsome head. The silted eyes of the beast momentarily shut as it appears to be in the midst of a sneeze.)
(The wave of force successfully manages to do it's job in pushing the ladies back in their pursuit of Gamma. They are left lying on the ground and hissing as they attempt to recover from the sudden strike. Yet a final determined lady blocks the path ahead of Gamma with knife like wings fully out and both hands lit up with bright blue flames.)
A dragon. Ah well, might as well try something!
While he was speaking, he began to unsheath a blade.
Have I mentioned I hate fire, because I really, really don't like fire. Shiranui, get her out of the way.
Gamma pauses in his run to snap his fingers as Shiranui forms around him yet again
MaEigaon.
Four tendrils of darkness emerge from the nearby wall, aiming to wrap around the lady's arms and legs and then retract, in order to pin her against the cavern wall and give Gamma the space to run out into freedom. Yaaaay.
As he's practically pushed out by the snot and winfmd, he attempts to shake it off.
Gross.... That's gonna be in my nightmares......
He decides to take the right cavern this time, so he doesn't get covered in snot again, hopefully.

*Ene suddenly grips Kazuya's hand with an odd bout of strength as her smile takes on a more sinister tone. Her eyes become a vibrant red as the once passive snake on her head rises upward and glares down with malice.*

*Using her other hand she suddenly pushes back on Kazuya while letting go of the hand shake. The snow beneath Kazuya's feet add to the slippery effect making the loss of balance even easier. The snake takes the opportunity to spit in Kazuya's eyes as a way to either finish the job or present his full hatred. *

[Knowing that trying to hold on would be pointlesd with the snow, he unshealts his swords as quickly as he can and thrusts them into the ground, barely escaping falling into a terrible abyss, even if by a few inches. ]

(The dragon having recovered from it's sneeze looks down upon a snot covered Dr Kinasu and Arkade. With golden eyes it curiously examines them and lowers itself on all fours as if waiting for a possible strike. When it was on two legs the path continuing up to the summit could be seen.)
(The lady unable to move has no choice but to watch as Gamma finally makes it out of the cavern. Free at last Gamma is able to once again continue on the path and in the distance he spots a giant white body slowly moving about.)
Gamma sighs and continues on the path, he waves to the distant white figure, hoping to get its attention
Hey!! Would you mind giving me a lift? I've kinda got to prove something to this nerd, and I think you would be perfect. You probably know this mountain pretty well, right? I've got a friend near the top too, so, it would be pretty great if you could help me get up there. Who knows, I might be able to make it worthwhile for you.

He attempts to shoot at the dragon with the raygun.
Okay, let me think for a bit. I might be able to find a way around it!
While stating this, he prepares to defend against an incoming blow with the sword.
*Ene and the snake stick out their tongues in unison with both pairs of red eyes glaring directly at Kazuya. The snake once again shifts into it's comfortable lowered position as blue sparks messily ignite from Ene's open palms.*
Have you ever considered that maybe i'm doing this of my own free will!

*Ene's smile is gone at this point having been replaced by an increasingly bitter frown.*

(Noticing Gamma's wave the white figure releases a mighty gust with a flap of its wings and takes off toward his location. As it nears the snow around Gamma picks up with the wind movement and he is able to notice the immensity of the creature. With two sets of wings and an equally large set of end feathers the creature easily blots out the sun and moves about in a circular pattern above Gamma. Waiting to see what the interesting human that is him could do next.)
(Stung a bit by the raygun with a visible burn mark appearing on it's scales the dragon grows furious at the two humans before it. It's eyes narrows as it swings it's tail toward the two in an attempt to smash them against the mountainside.)
Then how much everyone sacrificed didn't mean anything...?
Back then you were suffering and I couldn't just sit and let it happen, none of us could.
[Kazuya shealts his blades and quickly noves forward.]
As after all we saw, we know the effects of that pest very well. We saw what you truly were feeling, so I refuse to believe that simply accepting that thing was your absolute free will.
[Kazuya places both of his hands on Ene's shoulders and grips them tightly.]

Arkade ducks below the tail swing, then runs toward the dragon while sheathing his sword.

Gamma continues waving at the bird-like creature, having clearly gotten its attention
Do you need it to be a bit easier? I never noticed you could fly so... Bear with me a moment.
Gamma looks around for a good, easy ledge to stand on. He looks back over the cave he was just in and decides to go around a little and climb on top of it before waving to the bird
Hey, I know you can hear me, probably something weird going on. I've made it a little easier for you to pick me up, just be careful. I'm hoping to go to the top of the mountain. Can you do that for me? It would be a huge help. If you can speak, then that would be great. I've learned not to underestimate anything in that regard
*Her eyes momentarily flicker to their usual light blue tone.*

*They then take on the red hue as the snake slowly wraps itself around her neck in a comforting gesture.*

*She grabs at Kazuya's arms with her own hands and electrifies them in a pained display.*

(The large bird swoops down toward Gamma's position and carefully attempts to perch itself on the ground for ease of mounting. Focusing it's red eyes on Gamma it opens it's beak to speak and out of it's beak pours the ever familiar voice of Snake-chan.)

(The connection ultimately dissolves leaving a rather large bird looking down at Gamma.)
(Arkade manages to reach the dragon and it is caught off guard toward his next move.)
[The pain is terrible, her electricity never gets any easier to take, but he couldn't just stop, bot now that he is sure she is in there.]

[The pain made it hard to stand up, he really wanted to drop and let go already. But time was not on his side, or so he felt. And even then, he couldn't just give up without something unfinished.]

Arkade takes a running start and attempts to slide under the dragon and get to the passageway.
Gamma sighs and shakes his head before trying to climb onto the bird, now that its in a relatively easy to mount spot
I knew I shouldn't have left that idiot alone. Look, you don't have to like the guy, just don't get violent. Though, I kinda thought Kaz was above that stuff. I guess I'll see for myself when I get there.
If he's on the bird by now, Gamma would give it a light kick in the side to help get it going

*Tears brim on the edge of her eyes as her expression scrunches into one of agony. Inner turmoil reigns within her and it is made obvious with the shaking of her hands and the growing weakness of her stance.*

*She suddenly let's go of Kazuya and clutches at the bridge of her nose.*

*As Ene falters the snake shows it's determination by spitting at Kazuya.*
(Slightly miffed at the kick given by Gamma the bird ensures that he has the bumpiest ride possible through the clouds. Hitting every strong wind imaginable the bird soon makes it above Kazuya and Ene circling around them in an attempt to safely land.)
(Arkada's tactic works and he makes it onto the weathered path leading to the top of the mountain. Yet he is not out of the woods yet since the dragon attempts to clumsily pursue Arkada in order to regain it's pride.)
Okay, time to RUN!
Arkade then begins to run as fast as possible, hoping to get to a point where the dragon can't pursue him.

[Kazuya falls to the ground as soon as Ene lets him go, completely unable to move, and with some terrible burn marks on his arms. Kazuya looked up, although barely, and simply smirked at the snake with a face that screamed "You're getting your way", only to gaze at Ene and smile sincerely.]
I-I swear...next time I don't think I will survive, but still...
Takane...I won't leave you alone.
[He stays in silence for a moment and chuckles.]
Besides, it's not like I can...move anyway...!
Rather than waiting for the bird to land, after watching the back end of their talk, Gamma jumps off, rolling into the snow some ways away from the others, before slowly getting to his feet

Gamma sighs and walks closer to Kaz, Ene, and the serpent, shaking his head along the way
Well, glad to see no one's dead at least. That's always a relief. Still, Kaz, you have got to get better at talking to women. Kinda glad I didn't take your advice all those months ago. Demons are one thing, and apparently girls are quire another.
It might be risky, but I have an idea!
Pulling a risky move, he re-activates his rocket boots. He then starts to fly around with them, m attempting to melt the snow around and behind the dragon in an attempt to cause an avalanche.
*Succumbing to the mental agony Ene falls to her knees and blankly stares at the ground with little recognition. She barely manages to mutter out.*
Takane is dead ...
*Before falling into a mess of incoherent speech and ramblings.*
*The world rapidly dissolves as she falls victim to her own fragmented thought and all that's left of it is a blue room and the people that first entered.*
The hell?
(The snowy mountain fully dissapears and suddenly Arkade finds he is no longer being chased by a dragon and the bird that carried Gamma is now gone. Instead the fantastical setting is replaced by a small blue room with nothing particularly filling it. )
With the mountain being replaced with a room, Dr. Kinasu bumps his head on the ceiling Of The room.
Ow! What the..... What happened?

Gamma takes a deep breath and, after looking around the mostly empty room again, looks over at Kazuya

[Being able to move his arms now, Kazuya summons his Cerberus to help him stand up.]

[With some help, he gets closer to her and places a hand on her shoulder. "Takane is dead" stuck with him the most, but perhaps it was better to leave it like that for now.]
Ene...
[Still looking at her, he decides to reply to Gamma.]
For one...the snake tried to push me off the cliff.

*Ene's continues to ramble on not knowing much of the world around her while the snake angrily bites at the Kazuya's hand on her shoulder.*

(Opening the journal Arkade finds all sorts of notes detailing the nature of the blacks snakes and the original creator of them.)
(Dr Kinasu doesn't find much of anything from his scan save for a bottle of soda lying right night of a pair of scissors.)
Soda and scissors? Huh.
He picks them up and tries to find something suspicious about it.
Okay, could someone read this? I can't really understand it.
[Kazuya flinches and pulled his hand back, glaring at the snake.]
This is all your fault and you know it damn well.
[Kazuya sighs, and now being able to move more easily, he takes a few steps back from Ene, petting Pascal.]
Back then, this snake took advantage of Ene's weakness after she lost her pride, with the sole intent of controlling he body. A lot happened in the span of a week or three.
We experienced Ene's memories as Takane, her life, her death...everything.
We learned about the strange eye powers, and of this sorld, the Heat Haze...we battled through many traps and enemies we couldn't exactly beat by normal means, Kalib, Em, Shinji, Jackman and I.
In the end, we managed to save Ene, but we failed to finish this vermin off...
[Kazuya's body shakes for a moment as he covers his face with one hand.]
Worst of all, we lost Jackman and almost Kalib...and this damn pest already has her under his fangs!
However, I few minutes age I confirmed she is still in there, clouded by his control.
And so...I will save her no matter what.
Hold on arkade, lemme see!
He heads over and attempts to read the journal.
Hmmmm....
[Kazuya turns to Arkade and extends his hand.]
I could give it a try, I have some sort of past experience.

*The snake glares at everyone and comes to a desicion.*

(The group now find themselves back in the real world with nothing but a journal to show for today's adventure. Albeit a journal with deeper lore on the snakes.
