Yomi-no-Kuni: Land of Regrets Part 1
OOC: So, here's the deal for this thread. Anyone can technically enter within reason but there are restrictions as far as those reasons go.
To be short, either you'd have to have been in the last thread at any given point: https://phansite.net/forum/topic.php?topic=12349#post423708
Or your character would need a reason to jump into some random well in the middle of a crater where a park used to be. For the sake of this plot any one who joins is stuck in Yomi and cannot freely leave (This doesn't mean you can't use the character elsewhere). With that out of the way...Thread Starto!
OC:
The land is barren and dark. All around are dead trees and a light shadowy vapor hangs in the air all around. Buildings line the street in states of disrepair and a light moaning can be heard all around but nothing is seen. This place has been abandon for a long time but not forgotten. Anyone who was in the park will find themselves waking up in a similar park but the grass is dead and strange black plants have overtaken any structures within.
Back in the normal Nexus a well sits absently within a crater that once was a park. Within the well is a shadowy water that reeks of death.
Gamma slowly stirs and awakens in the park. He looks around to see who else might be nearby,
In the meantime, he sighs and holds the back of his head
I'm not entirely sure how, but this is probably Tatsuya's fault. Not sure which one, but one of them. A... Anyways, so this is what Chaos can really do? Fantastic, even further behind now.
Danksuya wakes up holding his head, that new power he used toke a lot out of him, after a little while he turns to Gamma and stares at him for a second, somewhat annoyed the blame was placed on him but ignores it eventually, getting up and looking around
Tatsuya pushes himself up off the ground, a light emitting from his hands that slowly patches up the obvious bloody wounds across the man's face. Various bits of his clothes torn off in the fight against Chaos, it's clear that fight did a number on even him. He glances over at the two others and sighs, Gamma is fine but... The kid doesn't need to be somewhere like this.
"Gah, feels like I've been run through a shredder or something. So then how ya two doing over there? Oh and nice to meet you kid, name's Tatsuya Suou. Yourself?"
Senri's expression shifts, her Persona vanishing from sight. It looked like the shadow was defeated, but... Did they drag everyone into the Dark World?
Was this Legend of Zuroda?
The landscape was desolate, destroyed, ruined... It was like an apocalypse. Senri found it honestly kind of beautiful... What could cause such destruction?
All of this... This world has been dead for a long time... We're not in our Tokyo anymore...
Danksuya looks towards Tatsuya and narrows his eyes, from all the adrenaline it was hard to really tell if it was himself, but sure enough, it was, although he looked a lot older, Danksuya then opens his mouth and speaks his words
Danksuya Suou.
Danksuya then eyes his other self's clothes, it was a lot different then his Seven Sisters uniform,
he was sure he didn't have anything in his closet that looked like that
as geno reawaken, he looks at the wasteland around him.
This...... Could this be Smithys doing?
*he walks up to the group as he whistles his pet Phoenix*
What is this place?
A slight breeze goes by before all the distant moaning seems to stop all at once. For a moment the world seems still as if anything that was here suddenly just stopped. A blurry image comes into focus down the street but it's hard to make out who or exactly what it is as a thick purplish haze fills the air. A faint voice can be heard on the wind.
"H....l...T...h...s...I...M...F...l...t..."
... "Danksuya Suou, okay. I'll call you Suya for short. Anyways uh looks like you just got Persona right kid? Even got any weapons or will I need to loan you something for that too."
Tatsuya attempts to get a bearing of the place, and briefly nods to acknowledge the new arrivals. The voice in the wind however is of concern to him, Tatsuya attempts to listen closer by putting a hand up to his ear and closing his eyes. Focusing in on what little he can make it.
Gamma catches sight of the distant figure and immediately begins to walk towards it
Well, what do you know. We're not alone here after all. Figured as much, never as quiet as may be preferred.
Gamma yawns and glances over to Tatsuya as he continues moving forwards
Good luck taking care of the kid. I'm sure you can handle it old man, just put one foot in front of the other one, it'll be fine.
*he sees Tatsuya as his pet Phoenix perched on his right shoulder*
Hey there. Like my new bird?
Danksuya nods at the nickname, he's been called worse before, Danksuya then raises his arm into the air and a blast of white light bursts from him, materializing into Vulcanus, sending a small burst of fire into the air before disappearing, confirming Tatsuya's question about the Persona, however when he mentions weapons Danksuya simply flicks a lighter and shrugs

Danksuya then hears the strange whispers and narrows his eyes, deciding to follow Gamma, even if he had insulted him, Gamma did save his life so he can't be that bad of a guy
Senri narrowed her eyes at the voice. Could this be some kind of hint...? Regardless, this had to be investigated. Senri boldly walked into the empty city alone, leaving the park goers behind.
[Joseph wakes up and looks around]
"W-Where am I? Is this a dream?"

Tatsuya takes off after Gamma, best not to leave the guy alone in what's likely to be a dangerous spot after all. If they're lucky it's no threat but... Best to follow anyways.
"Wait up, it'd be better if at least two of us go don't ya think man. And past issues aside after having worked with you some... Eh, I'd say we make an alright team if push comes to shove."

Gamma chuckles and looks at Tatsuya over his shoulder as he moves along
You use fire and light. I use ice and dark. We really don't fit together all that well Tatsu. In many cases, we'll end up getting in each other's way. I'd hardly call that good teamwork, even if we try, I somewhat doubt anything will come of it
"Are you just forgetting that I can do other things or trying to convince me to leave you alone Gamma? Sometimes it's hard to tell with you."
The man shakes his head at Gamma before turning to... Suya, he draws a copy of Excalibur from his coat and hands it to the boy. Giving him a quick look to ask if Suya knows how to use it in the least.
*he takes out a broad sword*
What's going on?
*he and his pet bird follows Tats*

As one group splits off to follow the shadowy figure it starts to slowly walk away. The figure seems to be chattering to itself for some strange reason as the wind starts to howl more and more.
Despite the wind blowing the purple haze just seems to grow thicker but sight of the dark figure never seems to fully be lost. More whispers can be heard as the win grows louder.
"This...all...game. This...my...ending..."
Danksuya grabs the sword and almost drops it when Tatsuya lets go, barely holding it in his hands, it's quite a surprise how heavy it is to him, he attempts a few swings in the air and gets the hang of it quickly, he then puts it away for the time being and thanks Tatsuya with a nod before turning to the Pilot, shrugging

Danksuya takes notice of the voices and tries to get closer to them, however, he does try to stick together with the group

Who's game has ended? Did you end this world? Was this your intention, or someone else's?
Senri speaks to the distant figure, trying to ensue some kind of response.
Gamma sighs and begins tossing a small shard of ice as he looks back at Tatsuya, its hard to tell from this angle, but he seems like he might be grinning
You know me, I've always been just fine alone, and I always will be. But to be fair, the most I've seen you do is "firey explosion number one" "explosion of light number one" and a few uses of Lucifer. See you're starting to take after me with the use of dark, its cool.
Gamma focuses back on the figure in front of him and shakes his head
Oh boy, talking about endings. Think its a bit early for that, seeing as there are obviously still people here. Show's not over if there are actor's present
[Joseph stands up and starts walking around]
"Hello? Is anyone around?"
*he walks up to Joseph*
You alright sir?
Tatsuya simply waits and listens, tensing up as he prepares to strike... For some reason he thinks this isn't going to turn out friendly.
The group that approaches the shadowy figure feels as though they've been walking a while as they completely begin separating from the group in the park. They vanish into the haze as they feel that they're finally getting close to the shadowy figure. The wind grows stronger and louder until they feel as if they're up high on a mountain even though they're walking through a street. The voice can be heard even more clearly this time.
"Would you believe me if I said...I never wanted...my own fault...a nightmare...accept it."
Your words are incoherent. Speak your heart honestly.
If something was your fault, you must accept it. Even if it hurts.
Senri did not back down and continued forward. Her expression tightens as she speaks her words. She should know all about consequences, she thought, as she adjusted the eye patch wrapped around her head. She was determined to find the source of this abnormality and reason with it if possible. Senri herself felt at peace in this world... Maybe whoever made this was not so different.
Gamma sighs and shakes his head, sounds like whining to him
Yeah yeah, terrible things happen, people do things they don't want, life sucks and then its all over, what else is new? That's simply how society works, no point in crying about it
Danksuya grasps at his coat and raises his arm in front of his face to protect him from the howling wind listening to the strange voice, shivering in the wind

Danksuya thinks to himself about what could the words mean, but they just seem like a jumbled mess to him
[Joseph turns to FM]
"Yes I'm fine, who are you?"
Tatsuya listens to it's words... Who knows, maybe this can be resolved without having to employ killing? Either way the man prepares to speak, sounding a bit sad... But still all too determined.
"I know exactly what you mean, and to an extent I'd believe it... But why did you keep going? If you truly didn't want this I have to ask you, what was the point of continuing this horror when all was said and done hmm? Could you simply not even think to stop? Or do you really believe it's all just a game... Either way, it's all seems suspect to me. If you wish to change then I'll give you a chance. Otherwise? I won't allow this cycle of violence to go on any longer."
Even in this howling wind he's dealt with worse, slight flames glow around Tatsu and he seems unaffected by the chill around the,

*he returns to Tatsuya*
The figure finally stops as the group only a small distance away from them. The wind goes silent as the figure seems to turn around and the haze thickens. It extends its hand forth as if expected someone to grab onto it. For some reason, it feels as if the group cannot continue walking forward. The voice from before speaks but this time almost as a vibration that shakes the ground itself.
"You accuse me of rejecting what I've done but I do not. I only regret such a decision that a foolish and young me had enacted. There is no redemption. I must accept the crimes I've committed as apart of me. Now step forth and take my hand. I will show you the sins I've committed towards you."
Though he asks the group as a whole to step forward it feels as though only one person can approach the figure at this time.
Gamma strides forward, determined, and quickly grabs Chaos's hand
Honestly, I don't mind you too much. I think that at another time, we might have been able to get along.
So sure, show me your worst. So I can knowingly forgive you.
[He follows FM]
"Where exactly are we going?"
Danksuya tries to move forward but he gets locked into place by an invisible force, listening to the figure
...
Danksuya then turns to Gamma and gives him a determined look, as if he's telling him not to be careful
Tatsuya stares on with a wince, hopefully this isn't just a trap... But if it's a trap, maybe they can still do something to help Gamma. Tatsuya draws the blade from the sheathe on his back and prepares for the worst.
*he catches up to Tatsuya as his pet fire bird perched on his backpack*
Hey sir. What did I miss when I was not paying attention?
The figure's eyes glow brightly as they flash into Gamma's. Suddenly a vivid image fills Gamma's mind. He sees himself walking along these same streets while slowly looking around.
This version of himself almost seems as paranoid as Tatsuya at this point. There is no joy left in his eyes as suddenly an ear piercing sound rings out. The sound can only be described as two shards of glass being scraped against each other. Gamma turns around just as a burst of flames bursts forth disrupting the image temporarily. All the remains are the charred remains of a human body with a bright light shining down on it. The light fades away before Shiranui seems to be summoned one last time. The Persona body slowly freezes over into a hard ice like state as Gamma's body begins fading and turning into a dark substance that fuses with the persona. The vision ends bringing Gamma back to reality as the figure releases his hand and disappears.
The air begins growing cold as the wind picks up again. The sound of ice crackling can be heard in the distance.
Gamma blinks for a moment, looking around the area for the figure. Only to find nothing there of course. Instead, he gets to hear the cracking of ice
Why is it always fire? I.. *sigh* It doesn't matter. That was a different time, a different place. We're both different people by now.
Gamma grins and looks in the direction of the cracking ice, before slowly beginning to walk towards it
And you're not going to get to run from me yet. Not after I just met you, saw you, for the first time. Who knows, maybe things would have been different, if you'd talked to the other me, or if....
Gamma looks down at his right hand, its really been a while, hasn't it?
Who knows where that other path came from, or where it led. All I know is where I am, and where we're going
Senri follows the sound of the cracking ice. The silence thus far was strange... But she walked forward. A Phantom Thief never hesitated. Morgana never hesitated. Thus, the Black Samurai wouldn't either.
Danksuya grasps at his coat again, looking around for the ice, taking note of Tatsuya drawing his weapon he draws his own sword with one hand and summons a ball of fire in the other, something big was coming
Tatusya pauses for a moment, honestly impressed with Gamma this time. In spite of not knowing what the man has seen... He's right.
"Gamma is right you know, what's done is done and no one can change the past, but anyone can change the future if they just make a choice to. Like I said, I will give you a second chance. Anybody deserves one after all. Just... I won't let you keep going down this road, so please don't force me."
Tatsuya smiles at the figure, perhaps it would be possible to solve this without violence?
The crackling grows louder as the eyes of a serpent peek out of the haze.
The haze begins lifting to reveal the frozen dark blue dragon from before. It spreads its wings to fly into the air before releasing an ear-piercing roar.
The earth shakes as it absorbs the haze into its own body tripling in size. It flies around in circles before facing the group with its wings extended and sending a raging blizzard down the street.
Gamma sighs and pulls out three cards, after looking over each of them carefully, he addresses the group
I would suggest finding shelter. This seems like something I'm supposed to face, if nothing else, it'll show Chaos that I'm better than the one from his world. I don't know how he's been mistreated, but there's not much I can do about it.
Gamma raises an arm to reduce the amount of blizzard that strikes his face.... Though he can't seem to summon Shiranui, he finds himself still capable of withstanding most ice
So, if you would find a way to get out of this fight, I have something to show the faker. Something I doubt the other me had.
Gamma raises one of the cards and focuses on it, beginning to chant
Dusk Sign.....
This again...? How fun.
Well then... Come, Mania!
Senri raised her fist in the air, the que to summon her Persona... But, Mania did not come. Senri seemed confused.
Eh? Mania... Mania isn't coming... What is this!?
Senri seemed to panic slightly, suddenly pulling out her katana.
Danksuya sees the giant serpent and prepares for a strike on the beast with a firey strike, however, he is blown completely off guard by the blizzard, getting thrown onto his feet with massive wounds over his body, as he gets up with heavy breathing
...
Danksuya then attempts to summon his persona with a blast of light, but to no avail, looking quite confused, however after a bit of trial and error he manages to summon up a small fireball, throwing it at the serpant
"Run away... I wouldn't call us friends or anything, but nevertheless you are my ally Gamma! And I'll never run away when my allies are in danger... But you don't appear to be in danger yet do you? So in this case I'll sit out for now, but if thing get dicey know this. I will be here to say told ya so!"
Tatsuya calls upon Lucifer's power, forming a tendril of darkness and trying to pull Sneri back as he runs away from the Blizzard. The man also tries to grab onto Danksuya and begins darting behind a nearby building, quietly watching from the corner of it to keep track of the battle at hand.
The fireball strikes at the great ice dragon causing its body to seemingly liquify before reforming and freezing back up.
As the others run away the beast turns it's focus to Gamma directly.
It begins flying around quickly to build momentum before whipping its rigid tail right at him in an attempt to wrap it around him.

Danksuya seems surprised at the sudden grabs and gets pulled back, giving Tatsuya a death stare, sure he trusted Gamma and Tatsuya but it didn't sit well with him

Danksuya then tries to deal with his own wounds, the weakness to ice and the fact that he's pretty weak, its a miracle he's still standing
Gamma is too busy focusing on the card to care much what the others are doing, The dragon's tail whips towards him as he finishes the chant
..... Gathering Flame.
The card almost seems to ignite with an eerie false-fire, much like the ones that form his persona, before it bursts completely. The card bursts into roughly two-dozen large false-flames, made of ice and curse energy. These flames form a minefield of sorts both on the ground and in the air around Gamma. He remains motionless as the spell finishes casting, leaving it up to how the dragon deals with it.
Senri is suddenly pulled back by Tatsuya's power, landing roughly on the ground behind her. She avoided danger, but felt frustrated with herself... Why wouldn't Mania appear!? If she can't use her powers, then... she's...
It's okay, Senri! We can still do this!
Senri looked to her side. A small neko stood, schimitar in hand. Atleast, in her perception.
If we can't use our Persona's, we just gotta use our own skills! You just gotta be patient, get close, and strike when the irons hot. Haven't I taught you anything?
The cognitive neko smiles and chuckles. Senri's expression changes to one of confidence as she smirks and nods her head.
Right... Just need to hit where it hurts... Keep my eyes open...
While the others take center stage, Senri quickly ran aside and broke into one of the ruined buildings. She climbed to the highest floor, busted the window with her katana, and exited to the rooftops. She parkoured along the damaged structures, trying to get closer to the dragon...

Seemingly in a mindless attempt to crush Gamma the dragon begins trying to fly up. It gets up a few feet trying to carry Gamma before running into one of the mines. It bursts into it knocking it away as it futilely tries to recover.
The dragon falls to the ground before shattering to pieces. The pieces begin melting into a liquid as they from together back into the dragon but this time on the ground with many legs and in a slimy state.
It rushes at Gamma as its fangs harden into rigid stalagmites. It jumps forward trying to bit down on him as it swallows a mine without noticing in the process.
"Don't worry about the wounds kid, Hyperion help him out!"
Rather then a burst and a Persona light covers Tatsu's hands, the healing washes over Suya as his wounds begin patching themselves up. It's likely to hurt if one isn't used to this... But better than fighting wounded, give him a moment and he should be okay.
Gamma is brought a little into the air by the dragon, before it bursts, leaving him to fall a short distance on his knees, now out of the trance, he gets back to his feet just in time to face down its next form. Gamma grabs the metal staff off of his back and wedges it between the creature's fangs,
in an attempt to prevent it from biting down
I hoped you'd be feisty, after all, you are me in a way. An alternate, unfortunate me, but me nonetheless. So then, lets do this, Gamma to Gamma, eh pal?
Senri stopped upon reaching a nearby rooftop, seeing the dragon lunge for Gamma. It didn't seem to notice her. When it lunged, she noticed the exposed neck.
There.
Senri jumped off the rooftop, aiming for the center of the back of the neck. If she sliced right where the weight balances itself in the neckbone, then maybe...
Danksuya gets healed by Hyperion as his tries to withstand through the pain, clenching his teeth and grunting as he leans against a wall, after a little while he returns to relative normality and nods at Tatsuya, thanking him before watching the battle intensely
The dragon continues to try to bite down to no avail. It's fangs pushing against either end of the staff as the ice begins cracking. Suddenly further down its body, the mine from earlier bursts causing its body to segment between it's lower and upper half.
Senri drops down and cuts straight through the beast causing its head to segment away from the rest of its body or what was left of it. Unable to hold itself up the dragon's head flops to the side of the ground as it loosens its grip on Gamma's staff.
*Groans and wakes up in.... whatever this maddening place is.*
Wow... and here I thought the literal end of time was a mess....
*she hears some commotion and tries to look about, looking for whatever said commotion was.*
Gamma takes his somewhat bent staff and steps back from the creature's head, looking over to Senri
I told you I had it Senri, no need to interrupt this...... Anyways, I should play it safe.
Gamma looks over in the direction Tatsuya ran with the others and waves them towards him
Hey Tatsu, this would be a great time for something flashy. Try getting rid of what's left for me, would ya? I figure freezing it might not be the best plan, and that's basically what I've got.
Danksuya hears the call for action and lights his sword ablaze with a flick of his hand, he then jumps over to the beast and slashes it with a flaming strike, while the fire itself is pretty weak, the strike itself is quite strong, even if his technique was off
Senri smiled as she lifted her katana over her shoulder. The smirk she had was very different from when Gamma first met her, and seemed almost familar somehow.
Please, now is not a time to have meaningless pride. Strength is in bonds, in hope, in cooperation and our combined egos to create a vortex of power. Allies are nice to have... And as it looked, that dragon looked like it was about to make you it's dinner.
Senri looks at the somehow still mobile body in disgust.
...I'm all for finding beauty in the grotesque, but this thing seems literally rotting...
Tatsuya nods at Gamma and a grin crosses the man's face. A pair of much smaller than usual suns growing in the man's hands as he runs out to get in range of the dragon.
"ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!"
Tatsuya darts forward one last bit, tossing both of the burning constructs of flame and light towards his foe at different angles. The man holding his hands out and bringing them together as they curve at one and other. Slamming into both sides of the dragon's remaining head at the same time as Tatsu eyes it warily.
"Stay ready everyone, I don't know if that'll do the job so be prepared for anything here."
As Danksuya strikes at the front the liquid of the creature begins to bubble and steam. Tatsuya's combined suns of light and fire then crashed into it on the other two sides causing the creature to scream out before bursting much like a pot that's been overboiled.
The remaining segments of the body begin melting down into the ground as they form into a light violet mist. The mist seems to linger in the air for a while before swirling around near the ground.
It shapes itself into a transparent ghost-like form that resembles Gamma. The specter seems to try to say thank you before dispersing into a light blue light.
With that, a strange power flows through Gamma. His will seemingly renewed as he can feel his Persona's strength return.
Heh.. sorry about that.
Danksuya swipes his blade in the air to clean all the remaining residue on it as he uses his other hand to fix up his tie, he then flashes in a ball of light as he gains a bit of power from the fight. Now that he's done with that he turns to the others and looks around again, trying to figure out where to go
Woah, that was that dragon from before.... and you guys!
Gamma sighs and actually seems to smile for the first time in a while
Thank you for the cleanup, who knows who long it might of taken for me to finish it myself. Still, it feels right, having fought it first.
Gamma stares at the spot where the dragon's head once was, before taking a low stance and shouting
Shiranui!!!
The familiar, long, spiraling dragon weaves through the air around its master, cold, empty eyes regarding those around him. In spite of this, its gaze doesn't seem harsh, rather, its more neutral,
perhaps even a little warmth can be felt
Was that... a Persona?
Senri looks at the summoned entity in realization. She finally seems to understand.
I tried using my Persona here... It didn't work... Was yours related to that dragon? It seems similar... If so...
Senri looked at Tatsuya and the others, and ultimately at her own hand. This was going to be interesting, to say the least...
The Haze begins to clear up revealing a stairway that leads down into the subways. The shadowy figure from before as it looks to the group with gleaming eyes.
There's almost something sad about the one it looks at everyone. It turns around before descending the stairs.
The Haze returns enshrouding the area once more. The only thing that can be seen clearly is the road and the stairs.
Tatsuya looks over to Senri, wondering just how in the hell she hasn't figured out the trick when... Well, odd name or not, The other him actually seems to have his talent for this shit. No real shock he'd get it down on the fly given that.
"Oi kid, you seemed to be having some trouble out there? I'll sum it up real fast since we're low on time as usual."
A glowing ball of light appears in the man's hand as he hold it out to Senri, quickly crushing it so as not to waste magic keeping the thing around.
"Focus on your Persona, the things you feel when you call it up the way magic flows as you use it's skills. All that shit, just think about it, and then try to capture that feeling to do it yourself. Now then, given the effects defeating that shadow had on you Gamma we can safely say killing them is the key to getting your Persona's true powers. Shiranui should come in hand against whatever the hell Suya and I have running around, long as you still got that nifty little heatshield you used before anyways."
He looks over to Haruko, wondering just what the girl who seemed unable or unwilling to help before will do. Hopefully she was just busy dealing with the people at the show.
"Now then, newbie you seemed to have an idea of what your doing around this stuff so I won't bore you, just know that like I said. You can call upon magic without summoning for now. Anyways, lessons on the supernatural with Tatsuya Suou are over kids. Let's keep going shall we?"
And with that Tatsu begins walking off for the stairs, stowing his blade once again for now his eyes dart around the place in search of anything off just as they always do in these places.
Gamma sighs and follows Tatsuya down the stairs, making a show of shrugging as they go
I should probably make good use of Shiranui now too. Only have a few cards, best not to waste them. Still, quite useful don't you think, just being able to spend it all in a burst like that no drawbacks. Pain to make though.
Magic.... huh. Got it. Sounds like shows on television, then again, so do Personas. *walks along, oddly unarmed it would seem. Maybe she's hiding something, who knows?*
Danksuya nods at Tatsuya and runs down the road with a burst of speed, walking up the stairs and awaiting his allies, thinking over what Tatsuya said as he practices his magic by summoning fire in his hands
Senri nodded to Tatsuya's explanation. She narrowed her eyes, seeming a little annoyed at being referred to as "kid", but held it in to the end.

Senri sighed and followed the group down the stairs. She focused as she walked, forming a Curse element ball in her hand. Seems he was right... The power seemed unnatural coming from her herself, but it felt empowering as well. She mentally prepared herself for what may come next as she followed.
"Persona's are just another form of magic in the end, used in an odd and personally based way sure. But at the end of the road our power isn't so different from a mage who just uses raw energy to reach the desired result."
Tatsu overhears the girl's muttering and sighs.
"Right sorry, uh I'm 38 and well I just kinda anyone who looks like a teen that unless I know their name."
He smiles at Senri and bows to her just a bit for a moment.
"I'm Tatsuya Suou, local demon hunter and far too old for this crap jackass. Yourself?"
As the group travels down the staircase the walls seem to form strange plant-like growths on them. They're pitch black in color and seem to be pulsating wildly.
The shadowy figure continues walking down the stairs always just out of reach of the group's pace.The haze growing thicker and thicker but the figure always remaining in perfect view.
"All of them ran...I lost control...so I accepted this place as apart of myself...A corrupted world must be born from a corrupted being, right? This place is my mirror...So there will be no more tears. Only regrets..."
OOC: If you can come up with an IC reason your character would jump into the well then anyone can join. The details are in the first post.
Danksuya touches the strange walls while he walks up the stairs, interested in what they could be made of as he listens to the voice

Entering the area, Stella only sees the crater that was once her favorite place to relax, Noticing the well, She looks inside, deciding that due to the strange way the water looked, and what she's learned of this place, The well must lead to the one who destroyed her favorite park, she jumps in without a word, she had just dealt with a very stressful day, and she WILL relieve that stress, whether from relaxing in her park, or crushing the one who destroyed it
Tatsuya walks to the source of the voice once more, knowing their luck it'll be the same freaking thing all over again.
The figure continues walking forward through the haze as the group reaches the bottom of the stairs. The subway tunnels are dark and eerie. The sound of breathing can be heard all around as the growths get worse and continue spreading over the walls. When Danksuya touches it, it feels unnatural as it breathes. Removing his hand from the growths he notices that the vine seemed to weekly try and hold onto him. The group seems as though they're getting close to the figure as they speak again.
"There's no doubt that it was my fault. I was the one who traveled to the core and I took that power for myself. I felt so...trapped in this place. I wanted a way out...And I really took the worst way out...It was a selfish act...one I can't take back..."
What are you talking about? You're here, we're here, this stuff is here.
Of course there's a way to take it back. You stand up, and you keep on fighting until all this terrible nasty stuff is gone!
Tatsuya sighs and walks closer to it. His words coming out... Hopeful a bit, but also tired.
"Listen, I get that you think nothing can be done but it can. Things don't have to stay the way they've been... I'd rather not have to kill you, sure I'll do it if you force my hand. But it's preferable to try and do something better. Even if you think nothing can make up for it, there's no sense saying you can't possibly change is there?"
Danksuya gets a little unnerved by the strange feeling and pulls away, when the vines latch onto him his hand bursts into flames, burning it into ash. Soon he reaches the bottom and prepares his sword, before seeing no danger and leaving it at his side, awaiting the others
Looks around, Searching for any clue as to where to go
The area around Stella seems to be a park of a similar design tot he one in the normal Nexus but the trees and grass have been dead for seemingly a long time. Strange black plant-like growths cover the benches and any other structure within the park and a deep purple haze covers most of the area.
A light moaning can be heard in the distances as the haze clears up t lead to an empty street. Along the sides of the streets lay buildings in states of disrepair. The roads themselves are cracked and dirty. At the end of the road is a stairway that leads into the subways.
Gripping her arm cannon, Stella sprints in the direction of the subway as fast as she can
The shadowy figure stops finally. It seems as though the group can reach them now as they turn around and the haze begins to grow thicker. The feeling is the same as last time as it holds out its hand before speaking.
"If that's how you all really feel then can you accept my sin? Come forth and I'll show you the crime I committed against you. Then, we will see if your hearts speak as true as your words..."
Stella reaches the subway stairs as talking can be heard from down below. Strange black plant like sprouts are beginning to grow on the stairs themselves as the pathway seems to be being encroached upon by these strange plants.
You're asking if we can accept you? What are you, some kind of Shadow?
I guarantee you that we can accept whatever's put in our way.

She continues to follow the voices, Jumping over any plants in her way, running off the walls if the path is blocked, using her booster to smoothly continue along the path as fast as she can
Tatsuya sighs and walks up to the figure, taking Chaos's hand as he prepares for whatever horrors he'll see... He's doubtlessly seen worse before.
Danksuya stands back and flicks a lighter from his pocket, before turning to Tatsuya and nodding, as if he was telling him to go first, what could go wrong?
The figure looks into Tatsuya's eyes as its eyes shine brighter than before. The light fills Tatsuya with a vivid scene. A dark tower looking over a cityscape full of millions upon millions of shadows. A weary and injured Tatsuya faces off against Chaos who's surrounded by the shadowy force he saw once before.
Chaos: "Always so difficult...It didn't have to be like this but you always just had to get in my way!"
As he utters his last sentence Chaos flings the dark force at Tatsuya aimed directly at his stomach. Tatsuya attempt to summon Apollo but only manages to summon him for a moment before the force breaks straight through the persona shattering it in an instance. It seems Tatsuya is too weak from exhaustion and constantly fighting to even summon his Persona anymore. The shadowy force hits him in the stomach knocking him to the ground as he's winded. Chaos walks up and looms over him holding the true form of the core infused blade.
Chaos: "To think you gave me so much trouble. How long have you been going with these constant fights and small amounts of food and water anyway? It's been like 2 years or something, right? Time sure does go by fast when you're having fun but I'd say this has been less than fun for me."
Chaos almost seems sad to see Tatsuya in such a sorry state now. Tatsuya on close inspection is thinner than usual and covered with bruises and scars. Chaos pulls out the sword and holds it over Tatsuya.
Chaos: "Don't worry, I'll end this quickly..."
Just at that moment Tatsuya's body lights ablaze as he uses up the last of the fuel in his lighter to ignite his power.
Chaos: "What? What are you doing?!? Don't you dare-"
Chaos is cut off as Tatsuya smirks before combusting in an explosion of flames that extends far into the distance. Using his very lifeforce to essentially screw over Chaos one last time.
After the firestorm, the only thing that remains is Tatsuya's body lying motionless with all his energy used up and Chaos walking away covered in burns. Apollo appears over Tatsuya's body before the two are meshed together in a flash of light that blinds the rest of the vision from Tatsuya's sight.
As Tatsuya snaps back into reality the figure vanishes and the sound of glass scraping against glass can be heard from above the group.
*Suddenly sees the figure vanish, after staring for an abnormally long time at Tatsuya.*
What the hell? Where did he--
*glass scraping*
Oh, that's a terrible sound.... probably not a good sound, either.
Danksuya stands idly, starring and awaiting for something to happen, his boredom is then answered by the sound of glass, drawing his sword immediately and looking around for danger
By this point the man's voice is almost a whisper, yet in spite of that flames dance in Tatsu's eyes.
"..... So that's what happened huh? I'll still give you another chance, but I swear to god if you so much as cross think about crossing is then I'll finish what I started in that park Chaos, in spite of fucking everything. I'll promise you this here and now, one way or another you won't be doing this anymore when I'm done... Like I said, I'd not rather kill you. So don't fucking force me. NOW BRING IT SHADOW!"
For once in his life Tatsuya calls upon... Water, something he seldom touches due to it's clashing with his usual skills, but here and now it seems the only good choice.

Probably hearing the glass ahead, Stella makes the final push to reach the source of the noises
The subway tunnel begins to grow hot and dry. The plants that line the walls and floor begin drying up into dust as they burn up and fall to the ground. Suddenly the sound of dripping can be heard from the ceiling of the tunnel growing more and more frequent. The dripping feels oddly hot as it burns whatever it touches slightly. It's also strangely heavy for water...
Stella finally reaches the group just in time to notice the dripping as well.
The sound of glass scraping against glass grows louder and louder as the tunnel grows hotter and dryer.
Oh great, whatever's happening seems pretty fire-aligned....
I hope I can generate some water down here, or all I'm going to be good for is cutting stuff.
Stella notices the group

Hearing the dripping, she aims her cannon up towards the ceiling, searching for the source
Danksuya loosens up his tie and tries to pull on his uniform, first snow and now fire? He was not ready for a day like this, as he starts to sweat he continues to look around, where was the enemy?
Tatsuya begins rushing back to the subway stairs, fucking stupid to do this in here so best to try and salvage things if possible. He shouts out for the rest to follow him as a Silver Revolver appears in his hands, icy shots flying wildly from the gun towards the ceiling as he runs. If he's right it might do something to slow his foe down for a while.
"FUCKING RUN DON'T HAVE TIME TO EXPLAIN JUST RUN FOR THE STAIRS!"

Hearing the man in red shout an order, Stella immediately obeys, Retreating while firing her cannon in the same spot his shots connected
The ice hits the ceiling and the dripping dies down for a few moments but soon after it increases in speed again. Eventually, the sound of pouring can be heard as the ceiling begins cracking to reveal a bright blinding light. As the light shines everything becomes much hotter and the air seems to dry out around it.
Suddenly a burning liquid begins building on the floor. The liquid resembles magma and is rising towards the group at an alarming rate. Tatsuya has a head start on it but it's already close to the rest of the group.
Tatsuya reaches the stairs only to find a wall of burnt vines blocking the path. The vines are hardened as they have been burnt to cinders. It'll take considerable effort to break through them.
Not the kind of liquid I was hoping for!!!
*Haruko jumps a bit off the ground and spins around, rushing up the stairs a few at a time, very likely plowing directly into the charred vines... and anyone who beat her to the top.*

*Danksuya jumps to action and runs for the stairs, almost dropping his sword in surprise, if he reaches the vines, he grunts and forms a sword made of fire on his arm, trying to cut through it with fire

Using her booster to give her more speed in her retreat, she sees the blockade and fires her cannon repeatedly as she approaches, If it doesn't break by the time she reaches it, she'll slam her cannon into the vines themselves
OVERHEAT: 13
Lucky for him Tatsu has just the thing, the man casually stepping out of Haruko's way with a sigh. he backs away a bit before quickly reaching into his coat and pulling out a couple blocks of C4. The man easily attaching his bricks, non moving targets aren't especially tough to hit. Tatsuya curses as Lucifer's image appears in his mind, tendrils of darkness shooting out from his back and pulling all 3 of them out of the way. Then he presses down a button setting the C4 off, one for each side of the vines. Assuming the attacks did the job he'd then continue rushing out and urge the rest to do so as well.
"NEXT TIME LET ME BLOW STUFF UP WITHOUT GETTING IN FIRING ZONE PLEASE! IT'S SAFER THAT WAY!"
None of the attacks used by the group seems to effectively break all the vines away until Tatsuya like the psychopath he is, blows it up with a brick of C4. The vines fall to the ground making small withering noises as they hit the ground. The path is now clear as the molten concrete flows ever closer to the group.
Even from a distance, they can feel the intense heat coming off of it. The sound of glass scraping against glass becomes louder as well.

Danksuya seems quite surprised that Tatsuya carries bundles of explosives wherever he goes and covers his ears as it explodes, still somewhat ringing in his head he pushes past the sounds and continues to run up the stairs

Senri had been struggling to use her Personas abilities to fight up to now, but was improving nicely. Her confidence was rapidly improving in this odd power fantasy, though she found it odd to relate to current happenings. She hoped in her heart that one day she could even be strong enough to make that dream come true...
Senri smiled awkwardly upon trying to kamikaze the situation again. The reckless Black Samurai didn't know restraint, and so laughed quietly as she swiftly retreats .

As the man is no longer standing in a tunnel with a foe that uses fucking lava the usual smirk on his face returns, Lucifer being replaced with Dagda as water forms around the man's hands. Once everyone is clear of the tunnel waves of liquid burst from his arms, aiming to fill as much of the place as possible with water in an attempt to slow his foe's progress. A glance at the shocked face of Danksuya causes him to shrug.
"Heh, guess you wouldn't know about what I do huh? Don't sweat over it Suya! Just know that I'm a guy you can rely on in these sorts of things and very little else... Uh, don't tell Maya I said that if you happen to meet her though."
He grins at the girl and shrugs.
"Eh, it's cool Senri, we got a huge shadow monster version of me around and our best weapon against it is likely me tossing around magic I rarely ever use! But hey at least we're not trapped in a subway tunnel that's slowly filling up with lava so things are getting better... Not to mention, pain in the ass or not? I can't deny that part of just lives for this shit. That being said, it'd be best if we all stay focused on the work at hand rather then getting too into it."
He watches the tunnel curiously and backs away at the same time, sure. It's sorta terrifying even now... But damm if you can find anything else quite so exciting. Still, best to at least show some sanity. The man's gun drifts up to the tunnel opening as her prepares to unload on whatever the hell they're dealing with this time.

IC: As Tatsuya points his gun at the tunnel's entrance suddenly, a bright light flashes through the area. The air becomes dry and hot as the ground itself begins to lose its shape. Burns marks begin appearing on nearby buildings as the area begins turning into the inside of an oven.
The form of an unclear figure floats through the sky towards the group. It's enshrouded in light and fire and can't be looked at directly without a burning sensation being felt in the eyes. The sound of glass scraping against glass grows louder as it approaches.
Gamma, who of course had been following along the entire time, rather than standing awkwardly nowhere when I slept early, steps away from the light, instead deciding to look over at Tatsuya
Well, fantastic, any bright ideas? No pun intended. As you may have noticed, fire and light's kinda my bane, coincidentally, its your thing. Looks like I'm pretty much out on this one

"Actually I think this one might be your thing! If it's anything like Apollo then it'll be weak to ice magic after all... Just try to stay behind me though, somehow I'm not sure you can stand up to that kinda heat."

The figure comes closer to the group. With each inch, the heat grows more and more intense as the light becomes brighter and brighter.
The water Tatsuya sends our slowly evaporates before it even reaches the figure. The ice bullet, however, hits its mark but only results in a light hissing noise before a slight amount of steam comes off the figure.
Closer and closer the figure gets as the ground itself feels as though it's starting to melt.
Stella's shots finally begin homing in on their target. They seem to hit their mark causing a slight flash of light within the figure but it's unknown if they had any real effect.
The figure continues to draw close as its light floods the area and causes a few stray dead trees to catch on fire. Any closer and severe negative effects are sure to take place.
Gamma looks around briefly, checking his cards... It would probably work... But no, lets try something else first
Alright then.... Gotta try something else, in that case. Anyone who can, most likely with water or ice, try adding on to this
Shiranui, Diamond Dust.
Gamma stops stepping back to extend one hand towards the figure, Shiranui bursts into life around him, and begins circling Gamma's arm, causing ice to slowly form into a single icicle in his hand. After giving anyone else the chance to add to this ice, Gamma would thrust his palm forward to launch it at the distant figure
Stella Boosts backwards, Trying to put as much distance between herself and the thing as possible

Danksuya who did not fall asleep jumps to action, luckily for him the enemy was finally in melee range, ignoring the pain that would come with getting closer he jumps and slashes with his blade
Aww man, water is useless? Seriously!? *backpedals quickly after watching that* Ugh, where's Igor being convenient when we actually need him!?
Tatsuya sighs and stows his gun, darting backwards as water gathers up in both of his hands. The streams bursting forth more quickly and longer then before as Tatsu strains with effort to add his magic into the attack. Once he's out of breath and water for now the man begins darting off towards a building.
"I REALLY HOPE THIS IDEA OF YOURS WORKS GAMMA! ANYWAYS I'LL GIVE YA WHAT I CAN FOR IT!"

Senri puts a hand forward, imitating what Mania would do and firing a Bufudyne to add to the groups assault
The water and ice forms around the icicle before freezing to increase its size. With that Gamma sends the icy spike towards the figure. The rest of the group begins backing away besides Danksuya who foolishly begins approaching the figure as well.
The ice clashes with the figures heat as it tries to push against it with its own light. Eventually, the icicle breaks through and a large amount of sizzling can be heard as the figures form becomes more clear. It appears to be circular in shape but something is off about its shape.
With the heat dying down Danksuya approaches without any interference before striking at the figure. The sword bounces off the figure with a loud chime. The chime continues to sound as a mass vibrations flow throughout the air. The light begins dying down as the figure's true form is shown. A massive glass sphere with a red tint. Within the sphere is a figure dressed in a dark red cloak. It has 3 eyes with no other features on its face and wears metal gloves with rigid spikes on the end. The being does not seem to be happy as it stares down Danksuya.
The figure slashes at the glass sphere on the side closest to Danksuya as a bright flash of light mixed with a fiery torrent lash out against him in a concentrated beam. The beam doesn't stop there as regardless of if it hits or not it continues to flow to spread out and strike against where the rest of the group is running to.

Upon catching sight of the scattershot of light, Gamma goes into a lower stance, and summons forth his persona
Shiranui, Ice Age. Everyone behind me.
Gamma's persona roars forth and quickly erects a small wall of ice in front of it, the firey beams strike the wall, and begin melting it, however, this far away Gamma is able to maintain the barrier against what little flak comes their way
Anyone should be able to hit it now, so unload your strongest attacks, and I can focus on providing cover
Tatsuya slams his blade into the path of the beam, flames bursting up to counter some of the attack. Sadly it's still stronger then Gram without Tatsu's magic, and a bit breaks through causing burn marks to appear on him.
"I've got an idea... I don't know if this is a good idea! But I'm sure as hell gonna try it regardless!"
"And with that a pair of black tendrils form on each of the man's wrists, something akin to hooks growing from their ends as one of them launches right towards the roof of a building. Tatsu quickly yanking himself upwards before shooting to another nearby his foe, from there the man leaps downwards onto the top of the sphere and quickly places a block of C4. Landing back on the ground near it with a roll as he taps the trigger. Hopefully the top is a weaker point? Regardless if raw force can do anything, this will tell them so."
Upon striking the sphere Danksuya recoils from the strike, holding his ears to block out the sound of the ringing, leaving him completely defenseless to the laser

Luckily for Danksuya he nulls the fire, the light deals less damage then it would to a normal person but due to being much weaker he gets torn apart by it, crouching on the floor from his wounds

Danksuya then decides that standing next to a bundle of C4 is not a smart play and retreats for the time being, hiding behind a nearby dead tree and holding his blade close to his chest, ready to block the next strike
*Skids to a halt upon seeing the spike hit the mark and reveal something!*
Oh hey, there's a target in that firey hell after all. You guys think that thing can hold for more than a few seconds!?
*She grabs a circular weapon from wherever Persona characters keep their weapons and reverses course, this time running closer to the figure, throwing the weapon at the glass ball.*

Stella runs up the ice wall, then charges her cannon to it's maximum before firing off a massive beam of energy at the sphere

Maximum Overheat Threshold reached, Entering Cooldown State
Afterwards, Stella stands completely still
Tatsuya skillfully places C4 atop the glass sphere before setting it off in a large explosive burst.The explosion causes the glass sphere to vibrate once more as the figure inside bursts into flames. The light once again extends outward filling the area with an intense heat. A slight cracking can be heard as well but it's faint.
The weapon makes impact with the glass sphere through the intense light and another vibration is set off. The light fades away revealing the figure once again. Now that the light is cleared small cracks can be seen where Tatsuya set off the explosive.
The energy beam flows outward towards the glass dome. It clashes with it causing the red tint to fade from the area of impact.
The being within slashes the sphere one more as the sound of glass scraping against glass echoes. This time it slashes in a circular pattern. A small ball of light and fire that takes on the appearance of a small sun forms out of the glass before flying at Haruko. It moves in a wave-like pattern as it flies forward
Stella is unable to move, Still needing to cool-down

Senri, noticing the sphere didn't have its attention on her, decided this was a good chance for a sneak attack. Senri charged up a Bufudyne in her hand, swiftly moving behind, and under the creature. She slides under it and releases her Bufudyne towards its center. With any luck, she wasn't noticed and it wouldn't be able to tell where the spell came from.
*Takes a hit from a literal sun! And since the OOC doesn't feel like actually vaporizing a character, she just needs a heal. Like yesterday. Like one more hit and she's toast... literally. Heh, heh, fire jokes.*

Gamma sighs and watches the poor, overheated stella from atop his ice wall
Need to cool down eh? Well, I think I can help with that, though it could hurt a little. Still, better than nothing, right? Shiranui, Ice Age.
The ice along the wall expands and lightly spreads over part of Stella, enough so as to help achieve cooldown state more quickly, but not thick enough to hurt much or be difficult to shake off once she was back to normal
Tatsuya grins as he hears the cracking sound, chinks in the armor mean something to exploit and he's got just the idea with which to do so.
"GAMMA GET SOME ICE UP TO! I HEARD IT CRACKING AFTER MY BOMBS WENT OFF SO IF WE WEAKEN IF MORE WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH!"
And with that shout, an orb of water quickly forms in the man's hands before rushing upwards and aiming to slam right into the cracks from above. Tatsu's intent clearly being to give Gamma more fuel for an attempt at freezing them.
Danksuya sees that the orb isn't going for him and decides to run for it, jumping atop of the sphere and sticking his sword straight into its cracks, then using it as levarage to bust it open, either his sword breaks or the sphere opens up, hopefully the sphere opens up
...!
The ice spreads across the bottom of the sphere causing steam to rise as the red tint fades from the sphere. The being inside begins shivering slightly as multiple locations on the sphere have lost their red tint now.
Tatsuya throws water onto the top of the sphere covering it with water. However, the water begins boiling and steaming right away. It won't last long on the spheres heated surface.
Danksuya jumps onto the heated glass sphere's burning surface to try and strike the sphere repeatedly. The cracks open a little but the sword begins suffering damage as well from the hard exterior.
Freeze it? Got it. Don't have the time to waste getting over there, so
Shiranui, Eigaon
tendrils of shadow pop out of Gamma's sleeve into his waiting grasp. He takes hold of these tendrils and swings it towards the sphere in a vertical arc, aiming for the tips to latch onto it. If this succeeds
And now for the freezing, Shiranui, Ice Age
Gamma's persona roars into life and begins rapidly circling the end of the tendril. The darkness begins to faintly glow blue as the wave of chill spreads down its length, soon reaching the end of the tendrils and beginning to spread ice wherever that may be
With the favorable outcome, Senri rolls out from under the enemy before she gets crushed and raises her katana.
Commencing operation: Beat the shit out of it.
With it being noticeably vulnerable, Senri, still behind the enemy, swings her katana quickly. If the first attack connected, more were to follow.

Fully cooled, Stella nods to Gamma in thanks, then changes her Cannon into a Vulcan Gatlin, Locking her position as she fire's hundreds of bullets rapidly at the sphere

Hmph, I'm not getting close again after that....
*She was in fact clutching an arm from that hit, so that explains why.*
Let's give this a try now that we've got extra ice out there!
*extends a palm and swings it to face toward where the ice spike had hit, and the darkness was grabbing hold, a jet of water shooting from her hand toward that spot with.... fire-hose force.*
Danksuya sees the opening and smiles, sticking his sword straight through it and then pushing on it with his foot on the handle, hopefully brute forcing the crack open for the ice to seep into
Tatsuya sends Gamma a thumbs up, before quickly leaping upwards. The tendrils once more being fired off allowing Tatsu to quickly send himself flying off a building, before leaping about 20 feet downwards straight at the frozen cracks in the sphere. A blinding glow emits from the man as well, a hammer of something akin to light forming from Hyperion's power, as Tatsuya tumbles downwards before landing a massive blow with it on top of his target. Tatsu himself simply lands on the ground with a smirk, before backing away a bit to observe the damage.
The dark tendril successfully latches onto the sphere as the ice spreads across it. The top of the glass sphere becomes covered with a thick sheet of ice that sinks into the cracks of the sphere.
Senri begins striking at the glass now that it's lost its tint of red. The glass structure seems much weaker than before as the strikes begin to form cracks in the sphere.
The rapid bullets hit the front of the sphere where the beam caused the tint to fade away earlier.
Individually, the bullets wouldn't be enough to cause damage but together they begin striking the glass to from cracks in its form.
The intense stream of water splashes against the sphere causing the surface to dramatically cool but not being enough to cause cracks to form.
Danksuya sticks the blade into the cracks as hard as he can. The sword itself begins to crack as well but he opens the cracks wider for the ice to spread.
Tatsuya uses the darkness to swing up before coming down with Hyperion's power and striking down upon the glass. After all the tension that's been put on the sphere this final strike causes it to shatter to pieces. The figure within is finally fully exposed as it looks around slowly at the group. Its metal fingers twitch as it drops to the ground.
It's back arches downward briefly as a heavy breathing can be heard. It then looks up with bloodshot eyes focusing on Tatsuya first. It rushes forth at an alarming speed before crouching downwards in a sliding motion to strike at Tatsuya's legs with its metal claws.
Lock.
Stella quickly changes her Vulcannon into a sniper, then locks onto and shoots a mark on the man as he slides

Danksuya jumps away from the figure for a second and takes a notice of his bent weapon, shrugging before preparing another strike on the figure, running for its backside and using its bent shape to deal a wicked slice on its back
Senri looked at the cracks that formed in the sphere.
Morgana always said to strike where the enemy is most vulnerable.
Senri focused on the nearest crack, held her Katana pinky-first tightly, and rushed in, aiming to jam her blade directly into the vulnerable weak spot.

Tatsuya attempts to drop down and block, only succeeding in the first part thank's to it's speed.
The claws slamming into his arms and leaving a few bleeding wounds upon them as Tatsu winces.
Nothing he can't fix, but no time now. Instead the man quickly moves back up sending a kick aimed at it's skull before his Revolver appears once more. The icy rounds flying from his gun again right towards the thing's head. From there he darts off to the left side to hopefully get far enough this won't happen again... And switches to Apollo, just in case it still has fire.
Alright, now we're getting somewhere!
*moves her arms down and just goes right ahead and sprays water in the monster's face.... then he moves and she tries to keep hitting him. She's not good at leading targets so don't expect to hit him much... mostly get the battlefield all wet.*
The bullet hits the figure on their side. It doesn't seem to react to much to the hit though.
Danksuya slashes at the figures backside with the bent blade. Its skin is much tougher than it looks though as the slash doesn't seem to do remarkable damage.
Senri continues attacking the broken pieces of the glass sphere the figure has already broken out of. She effectively breaks the glass sphere into tinier pieces.
Tatsuya knocks the figure up as it staggers backward with a blank look in its eyes. The ice bullet strikes directly between its eyes as its kneck abnormally contorts backwards. Its body twitches as it slowly bends it back into position with s steaming whole in the middle of its face.
Haruko runs at the being while spraying water at it to try and blind it but the monster fixated on Tatsuya doesn't even blink at the effort. The monster simply blocks Haruko's first strike with its claws before trying to push her away.
Seeing a different nuisance it turns to Haruko and slashes its claws together to light them ablaze.
It charges Haruko with its torso extended before attempting to slash directly at her neck with its burning claws.
Good.
Stella pulls out her Black Blade and rushes the man, Boosting at him and taking a large slash, as her blade connects, the "Mark" embedded in his skin unleashes a large energy burst inside of him

Danksuya seeing his strike is ineffective jumps back a bit, calling upon his power to generate a ball of rage, before sending it directly towards the figure, hopefully making it enraged and exposing itself to counter attacks
Tatsuya once again calls up Hyperion, this time a bright light flashes from him right into the foe's eyes. Attempting to render it's eyes useless for a moment. After that little trick the man quickly darts over, making a try to grab onto it's arms and lock them behind it's back with the claws pointed towards his foe. Hopefully if he can render it helpless they'll be able to finish the job quickly.
"Now would be a good time to strike, assuming I've done thing right."

*Uh oh, more fire coming in! Haruko acts fast and grabs another chakram, two in fact, putting them out in front of her to try and catch the claws!*
A heal would be nice like NOW!
Stells slashes at the monster. While the slash doesn't do much to harm it the mark within it bursts in an explosion causing it to ease up on Haruko a little...
...before Danksuya enraged it causing it to strike fiercely and rapidly at Haruko as its breathing grows heavier. The Chakrams barely can hold back the beast's anger as it strikes at them with rageful claws.
It's rage, however, takes its attention away from Tatsuya himself. The light flashes into its eyes causing it to fall back and cover them. Having multiple eyes isn't always a good thing. Tatsuya manages to grab onto its arms and restrain it but as the beast recovers, it tries to pull away from Tatsuya making it harder for him to hold it down.
Tatsuya switches Personas once more, black tendrils shoot from his back and lashing onto the thing's chest as it struggles. Tatsu himself continuing to hold the beast steady... It's fairly clear from the effort he's putting in however, that this won't go on much longer.
"HIT IT NOW WHILE I'VE STILL GOT THE DAMM THING!"
Understood.... Repeat.....
Coming back around from her last attack, Stella swings again taking another slash at the man, the mark again letting out a burst when her blade makes contact as she runs past

Senri, seeing the opportunity, follows up on Tatsuya's tactics by running forward and slashing downwards, trying to, quite literally, disarm the boss.
Hitting it very hard!
*She's already in close range, so just swings the two chakrams horizontally at the shadow-glass-monster-fire-chaos-thing! Before backing way the heck up before Tatsu's grip can break.*
Danksuya nods and prepares his blade, moving to the front of the figure, aiming it straight at its neck as he plunges it with one stroke of his arm, afterwords he tries to push the blade out, decapitating the figure if possible
Tatsuya continues to hold the beast down with dark tendrils. The beast squirms and fight back but Tatsuya can somehow just barely keep it restrained.
Stell swings once more at the beast causing a large wound on its chest as the mark bursts once more.
Senri rushes toward the monster afterward with a downward slash. The wound runs all the way down its body.
Haruko Slashes it much, in the same way, causing three more scratches to appear next to Senri's mark.
Finally, Danksuya rushes in aiming for its head. At first, the blade doesn't pierce its skin much but the beast being unable to block or dodge as Danksuya slowly pushes on the blade causes it to start to sink in deeper and deeper. Finally, all at once, the blade pierces its kneck fully with a crack. Danksuya pulls back on the blade as the monster stops moving. The body of it slowly begins to fade away into a collection of red ash as Tatsuya's grip goes straight through it.
The ashes swirl in the air before forming into a spirit-like image od Tatsuya. The other Tatsuya looks at Tatsuya before smiling. He turns away before waving and walking off. As he walks away he turns back into a pile of ash before they disperse into nothing.
With that Tatsuya feels a strange yet familiar feeling as the image of a golden butterfly crosses his mind. Power rushes through his body as his will is rejuvenated. It's almost as if he's awakening to the power of Persona once again.
OOC: With that, I think I should conclude part 1 of this so...
IC: The world begins to grow dark as loud moaning can be heard along with gleaming eyes being seen in the distance. It seems night has descended within this place. Perhaps now is the time to seek shelter before the hordes of shadow begin roaming the streets?

Danksuya then flicks his crooked blade into the air to whip off any residue as a light encompasses him, a burst of adrenaline gives him a rush as he grows stronger, he then turns to the rest of the party and nods, ready to move on, he then notices how dark it is and motions for everyone to take cover in a nearby building, holing up in there for now

Stella walks to Haruko's side and keeps an eye out for anything that would target her
"Okay team, time to head out and find somewhere we can hole up right night eh? I'd rather not be out wandering around at night... Oh and I guess I should heal us or something right Hyperion!?"
With that the sound of glass shatter rings out through the area, and giant humanoid made from light appears behind Tatsuya. A bright wave of healing magic flowing off it to close up the wounds of the group, bones setting themselves back in place. As he moves over the building his other self pointed out to them.
"Anyways, I don't think things will get easier... But with my power back to normal if nothing else we're better off now!"
Flames dance in Tatsuya's eyes, a wild look in them as he glances around one final time in the light of Hyperion before dismissing the Persona and walking into the building.
"Anyways, if you've got any questions for me now's the time to ask before I'm done for the night... Well, someone should keep watch, so uh guess I'll take care of that too unless people want to split it. Either way though, we've got time for me to share what I can."

Stella nods as she walks to stand outside the door, having decided for herself that as someone who doesn't sleep, standing watch was her job

Tatsu looks over the girl, pretty strange one... Wonder what kinda shadow she'll have? Either way, if she says she's got it he guesses he'll offer some faith in her for now.
She nods once again before starting a short patrol outside the door, keeping close, but wandering enough to get a better view
Danksuya thinks for a second and decides to approach Tatsuya with a question, pointing at himself before pointing to Tatsu, as if asking why is there 2 of him in the same world. He then motions again but stops midway through, perhaps he should slow his roll and ask one question at a time
Tatsuya chuckles and begins gesturing back. The motions he's making seeming to tell Danksu that it's due to something called "The Nexus. Tatsu himself isn't totally sure of how it works, but a flick of his lighter somehow says that he's sure it drags worlds and people from them into one place. Thus two of the same person isn't so shocking here.
Senri feels surprisingly refreshed as the wave of healing washes over her.

Senri looked down painfully for some reason, but her expression remained professional.
Danksuya then puts his hand on his chin to mule over this new information before pulling out his own lighter, flicking it 18 times to represent his age, then turning to Tatsuya and asking how old he is, surely he couldn't be that old right?
Tatsuya quickly snaps the thing 38 times, smirking at Danksu as he realizes just how much this version of him needs to learn before he'll be able to keep up. Before looking over to Senri with a shrug.
"I'm not that good of a leader Senri, say what you will about the man's politics but... I'm just a guy who's fought lots of monsters ya know? If I had to lead a real army in war... Well, it's a bit outside my scope frankly."
The man grins at her and absently twirls his lighter back into his coat.
"Still, it's nice to see someone has faith in my skills. Funny enough that's the first time I've even bothered to try leading something for a while. So perhaps I'll get better with time doing it again? Either way, might be best for you to get some rest, Miss Silent seems to be sure sleep is pointless to her so we humans shouldn't waste our effort."
Danksuya takes a step back in shock, man there was quite a gap between himself and well, himself, he then thinks about the next question, conjuring a small fireball in his hand before letting it dissipate and then pointing towards a puddle outside, then Senri, expressing very clearly to Tatsuya how did he have so much magic compared to everyone else, to anyone else Danksuya looks like a mad man, pointing randomly
A glowing ball of flames grows in his hands, reaching about the size of a football... And doing so casually with a smirk on his face. A gesture and quick summoning of Apollo telling Danksu that his other self has been in this game... Since he was Danksu's age in fact. Apollo turns to Vulcanus showing that once upon a time they weren't so different. Just 20 years of hunting monsters has left Tatsuya old, worn out, and all too prepared for whatever may come.
Danksuya nods in affirmation, looks like he was in for a tough couple of years, perhaps it was good thing he met with himself in an alternate universe. Other than that he leans against a wall with his crooked sword by his side, giving eveyone in the room a look before closing his eyes and trying to get some rest, it had been a rough day for Danksuya
Tatsu himself nods as well, quickly dismissing the Persona and finding somewhere decent to lay down and rest himself... Thoughts of what's to come later on flowing through his mind, too bad he doesn't know these people will enough to come up with plans for their shadows. Tch, gotta figure it out on the fly in this case...
