Java the Hutt: Phantom Beanace
As the saying goes, another day another dollar. A young, Lavender-haired man stands outside the doorway to his miniscule cafe along the streets of Shibuya. The cafe would be almost unnoticable if it weren't for the... Unusual sign, which depicts a large, slug-like creature drinking a cup of their signature coffee. The young man fiddles with his keys for a moment before finding the correct one to open the store. He walks into the small, well-laminated place. Its floors and walls are white, with its furniture designed to give a smooth, futuristic feel. The man walks behind the counter and changes a sign from "closed" to "open"
And so it begins
walks in.
Greetings.
Gamma waves to Addalme and leans against a nearby wall, catching and tossing a small shard of ice in his hand
So, been a little while. I trust you're still doing fine. Anything I can get you while you're here?
goes to the countes and sits in one of the seats
Yeah, it's been a while, put me a black coffee.
Alright, one house blend, black, coming up
Gamma heads behind the counter and in short order finds the familiar bag of beans. Its fairly standard, so it only takes a moment. With that, he soon begins to brew the coffee in the machine.
For the moment he turns to Addalme
So, anything interesting happen since we last met? I've been out of things for a little while so I figure it'd be nice to catch up
thinks for a moment he looks away for a second, after a few seconds he looks to Gamma
I've been busy, traveling, trainning, exploring, thinks like that, I don't have nothing interesting to tell. But I have to say... I've been thinking about my time here in the nexus, I've changed a lot...

Rise pushes open the door to the cafe and steps inside. She places her hands on her hips and looks around.
What an aesthetic! Excuse me, mister cute hairstyle, this place serves coffee right?
Turns to Rise
Me? Anyways, yes, this place serves coffee.
Gamma sighs and looks back to Addalme, he keeps a friendly smile, but otherwise simply shrugs
Afraid I'm not much of a judge of that. Don't seem to have changed much to me, but I've barely even m....
At that moment, Rise comes in the door. The storekeeper is caught by surprise and quickly adjusts his hay
C... Cute....? A... Anyways, yes, we do serve coffee here. In fact I have some just about ready for mister Addalme here.
In short time, the cofee machine dings to indicate it is done, and Gamma pours Addalme a cup of the house blend, quickly sliding it over to the other, careful not to spill a drop
Anyways, yep. We sell teas, coffee, and some pastries to go with them. Nothing fancy, just muffins and... Cre.. Cross... Whatever those french moon-shaped things are called.
Perfect! And obviously I meant the man with the pink hair, sorry if you got confused mister.
Rise sits down only one seat away from Addalme and pats the counter in front of her.
One coffee please! A lot of sugar if you don't mind.
turns to Rise
It's alright, I don't care about it.
drinks the coffee
Hmmm, it's good.

Gamma pauses awkwardly for a moment, before moving back to pour a second cup
It’s... Uh... Lavender. Its Lavender actually....... No, that’s not really any better.
Gamma passes Risette the cup and takes out a small plate with four Sugar cubes
A.. Anyways, add as much as you want. Comes with it of course.
Gamma casually waves back to Addalme
Glad to hear it. I’ve gotten a decent bit of practice now, between working my own place and covering LeBlanc occasionally

Jiyu enters the cafe with his headphones on and his hands in his pockets
"At least this cafe looks better than that one in Yongen."
He sits at a table with his hands folded
Lavender huh? Whatever you say-... eh. Sorry what's your name again?
Rise dropped three of the four cubes into her coffee and began stirring. She crossed her legs and kept her eyes on Bgammax even while he was talking to Addalme.
drinks and finish his coffee and turns to Gamma
It is good, I think you can do it better, but you just need time for that, keep going and you will do a nice coffee.
[After last night's events, Kazuya needed some peace and tranquility. From what he remembered, Gamma's work was much more calm and chill than the usual LeBlanc.]
Could be a nice change of pace...I wonder, was he arround for the test last night...?
[It's not important, and so, Kazuya heads in with a big smile.]
Hello there, what a nice day, isn't it?
Gamma waves over to Jiyu and nods as the man walks in. Soon Gamma turns back over to his other customers, namely Risette
OH yes, we haven't met before. Please, call me Gamma, that's what I usually ask people to, though some have taken a liking to "Pinky".
Gamma shrugs and briefly glances back to Addalme
Well, I did get a few tips from the couple who used to own this place, but that's no substitute for experience.
Finally, Gamma leans back against the back wall and looks over to Kazuya, tossing and catching a small shard of ice with his right hand
Definitely, been a little while since I've been able to open this place. Glad for it really. Feels like a nice change of pace

Addalme opens the door and leaves, he waited a few seconds and the Alatreon landed in front of him, he jump to his back and they left

Rise, once she finished stirring her coffee, would finally raise it to her lips and sip from it winking at Gamma slyly. She didn't pay any attention to the newly arrived since they hadn't addressed her yet.
Jiyu takes off his head phones and turns to Gamma
"Hey lavender hair, can you get me a Pepsi please?"
[Kazuya nods as he walks towards the counter and sits down]
It really does feel like it with so much going on now, to think just a while ago was so quiet...
Oh man, the Nexus is something else
[Kazuya laughs for a moment.]
Could you give me a Mokaccino like last time, please?
Gamma breaths a quick sigh and nods to Rise, a brief smile flashing across his face
Nice to meet you too Rise. I do hope to be seeing you around a bit more often. Try not to let some of the rowdier people bother you too much.
Gamma walks towards a cooler in the back and looks into it for a brief moment before turning to Jiyu
Afraid all I have is Coke and Amrita, which would you prefer?
Gamma nods to Kazuya, though he doesn't move from his spot by the cooler
I can do that for ya, any preference on blend, or is the standard house good enough?
"Coke will be fine."
Standard is fine, thank you
[Kazuya reaches out for a nearby spoon, and playes with it as he waits.]
Hey, Gamma?
[It might be best to simply ask, it was important after all.]
Were you around for Azami's test last night?

Oh don't you worry your pretty head Gamma, I'll be around more often now that I'm in town.
Rise grins before closing her eyes and sipping from her drink once again. Once she had done so she set it down and looked atKazuya from the from the corner of her eye.
After hearing Jiyu's reply, Gamma pulls a single can of Coke out of the cooler and sets it in front of him
Alright then, here you are. Sorry if you prefer them warm, not much I can do in that regards.
Gamma nods back to Kazuya, and pours a small cup of milk, putting it on heat while he continues the conversation
I take it you're referring to the weird forest? Never saw Azami myself, just chased down and caught a porcupine. Almost got it quietly too, luring it with some ice, but it panicked last-moment and ended up giving me quite a pricking. I take it you did something similar?
Soon, the milk begins to steam and Gamma decides that its been on long enough
If I remember correctly you like it with very little coffee, primarilly milk, cream, and sugar, yes?
Gamma smiles and waves at Rise, he glances between her and Kazuya and decides not to push any further
*the Yharnamite enters into the cafe walking as if he is a member of the British Ministry of Silly Walks*

Yes, and in fact I met Marry and Azami...I ended up in one of the tests and I think I may have picked her interest, at least...I hope so.
[With the same spoon, he mimics Gamma's usual ice shard throwing as he turns to Rise.]
Excuse me miss, is something wrong?
I thought you were looking at me, but I might've been just me.

Jiyu takes a sip of it
Heheh, your eyes are sharp mister. Sorry for being rude but I was just so curious, you know? And come to find out you're a fellow lover of all things sweet too? Would you mind if I asked you for your name?
Rise now turns around entirely in her chair so that her body is facing Kazuya's direction. She made sure to put her drink down first and put her hands in her lap.
[Kazuya quickly left the spoon on the counter and completely turned to her with a raised eyebrow.]
Curious...? I didn't think I would stand out all that much.
Anyway...my name is Kazuya Yasuo, it's nice to meet you!
[Kazuya smiles at her and offers her a handshake. But this was a very bizarre feeling though, he felt as if he had seen her before somewhere, but couldn't quite place remember where, or when.]

*he takes a seat and starts eating something from his bag*
Hoi Kazuya. How is it?
Gamma shakes his head as Hunter walks in the door
Afraid we don't have one here. Bit of a small spot, rather they spend the time with each other than on TV and all that
With that taken care of, Gamma adds several drops of coffee to the milk, enough to give it a kick, but the bitterness should be masked. Finally, he adds some cream as well, foams the glass, and adds a light drizzling of chocolate syrup before passing it to Kaz, alongside three sugar cubes
Glad I could remember that much. Heard that remembering preferences is an important part of this business after all.
Gamma steps back against the wall for a moment, gazing up at the ceiling
Never heard of this Marry before. I assume she's the little girl from the first time? Can't help but feel a bit sorry for them. But well, people will be people.
Finally, Gamma silently nods to Jiyu, returning to his usual spot and tossing a shard of ice back and forth while he waits
Rise takes Kazuya's hand with both of hers, shaking it excitedly and smiling brightly.
It's Rise, Rise Kujikawa, and I'm glad to meet you Kazuya! It's not that you're a stand-out kind of guy or anything but it sounds like you were discussing some kind of gossip with Gamma. Something about a lab... or something?
Upon hearing about this "Marry," Rise can't help but a be little questioning.
So who's this Marry you guys are talking about? Trying to get a girlfriend Kazuya~?
Homura wanders into the doors with a curious look on her face, it's been a while since she's come out to anywhere... Odd, not since Eris. Hiding with Madoka was fun, but she really should get back in the game. That thought in mind the girl walks through the doors with a grin on her face, quickly sitting down by the counter... And sees Gamma there.
"Gamma!? You work at a cafe? I would never have thought of you as the type, you struck me as some kinda monster hunter who acts like he doesn't wanna fight or something. Still, that's pretty neat!"
Homura grins at her friend before looking around the room, she turns over to Rise and Kazuya with a wave. For some reason, the girl seems familiar, but she can't tell why.
"And um hello, I'm Homura Akemi and it's nice to meet you two! When did this place open anyways? I've never seen it before, but it doesn't really seem like an opening day. Did I just miss things?"
Yeah it was the white haired girl, she was so scared when I found her...
[If he had been drinking something, he would've definitely spat it out after Rise's sudden question. His cheeks were as red as fire and quickly looks to another way.]
Marry was just a girl I met okay, it's not like I'm desperate or need love at all, jesus, what k-kind of question is that?
[It was then when he notices Homura's appearance, and his color this time fades to white for a moment, but he quickly shakes his head and is only able to wave at her.]
A-Anyway...Marry is just a little girl who I met yesterday at some forest.
Okay then but hey, t.v. isn't invented in Yharnam.
*the food that he is eating is a giant leg of a cleric beast that he ripped off during his hunting routes*

Gamma looks up at Homura's arrival, he takes a deep breath to calm himself, no reason to freak out or anything. He quickly shakes his head, hoping to clear the thought out of his mind, before returning the smile
I own the place actually. Bought it from an older couple a while back. Would be nice to have a cool job like Tatsuya's.... But well, considering some of the things that can happen.... Probably for the best.
Gamma shifts in place, looking between Rise and Kaz, mostly Risette, would rather not freak out the new customer if possible
A... Anyways, Homura, yeah, its been open for a little while. Just not as consistently as I should. Keep getting busy with... Uh... well, you know the kind of stuff.
Haha, getting all flustered huh? Whateeeever you say Kazuya.
Rise grins again. She would've turned around in her seat and faced forward towards the counter but then Homura Akemi came in, prompting her to stay how she was.
So many new, friendly faces! Hi there Homura, I'm Rise Kujikawa and it's nice to meet you too. Only thing worth mentioning that you might have missed is poor, lovestruck Kazuya over here, hehe~!
*he laughes to what Rise said but gagged of a leg chunk that he was chewing*

Homura stares at Kaz, her eyes looking totally deadpan behind her glasses... Geez, what a weird thing to hear from someone she's just met. Hopefully, he's not trying to... Nope, way he looks way too old, as she starts speaking, however, the girl's cheery smile returns.
"I see, um well I hope things work out for you Mr! I'm not sure how things have gone for you, but uh yeah good to hear things are alright for you. Anyways, I don't guess you happen to have seen another me around recently? Older, has demon wings, is ungodly powerful? She's pretty scary so uh I'd be glad to hear if she hasn't been around."
The girl glances around as she speaks the last bit. In spite of that, she forces herself to smile and turns over towards Gamma and then Rise.
"Well Gamma, I think it's nice running a cafe! I can hunt monsters too but geez, I wouldn't wish that kinda job on anyone. You know what it's like out there after all. Um anyways moving on, do you have hot cocoa? And Rise-chan huh? Well, hopefully, we can be friends! And I'm sure Kazuya-san isn't that lovestruck... Well, I'll believe him saying it anyways."
The girl giggles at Rise's words, the older girl seems kinda fun. So maybe tonight will be decent?
*he coughs out the bloody chunk and turns to Gamma*
So. Anything planned for this Thanksgiving?

L-Lovestruck she says...!
[Kazuya simply covers his face with both hands. However, after hearing the rather specific description this Homura gave to him, his colors disappears once more, but this was not the moment or place.]
And...no...I've never met anyone like that, ever.
[Kazuya sighs and gives himself a quck slap to the face, as if trying to wake up. After this, his expression is calm and carefree once more. After this small distraction, his mind finally catched up, and turned to Rise.]
Wait...are you perhaps an idol?
Jiyu was watching the others do their things the whole time
"..." *Sigh*
He puts his headphones back on and just blankly stares at the table
Gamma immediately springs into action, searching the shelves for the appropriate supplies, and in a moment he adds the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and just a hint of vanilla extract to the mixer, and blends them together. Talking all the while
Of course we have some hot chocolate, its pretty standard fare after all. It'll be finished in a moment
After the mixing is done, Gamma puts the chocolate on to heat for a few moments.... His eyes seem to darken when the Hunter speaks up
Kinda surprised you'd know about something like that... But, well... I don't exactly have much family over here. Pretty much on my own. So... Just going to be a normal day for me.... Nothing to talk about.
Gamma clears his throat, happy to change the subject, and looks back to Homura for a moment
Well, not risking disaster is a nice perk, but still. Pretty much everyone else does something amazing, and I've always been stuck with low-end jobs. Its nothing to brag about, that's for sure
You think so Homura-chan? I dunno, those blushing cheeks are a certain sign if you know what I mean.
Rise was smiling brightly up until Kazuya had to mention the possibility of her being an idol. She had been reaching for her coffee when she suddenly froze.
I-idol!? You must uh... just be mistaking me for someone else, haha! Ah... Please, I'm just Rise okay?
*The brown hair girl aka Pat walks in, looking pretty bruised up*
*Pat slowly sat down on a chair*
The girl takes her drink and sips at it happily, tastes pretty good actually. And geez it's kinda weird to call this stuff people do amazing. Sure some good comes from it, but amazing?
"I would call it that Gamma... Listen, that kinda stuff might be amazing from some viewpoint, but I don't think so. I'm not... Well, I can fight when you force me, you've seen that. But violence is horrible, honestly? People with jobs like that, I can tell you that I at least wish I could work myself out of the job, Gamma. Most would say the same I imagine."
The girl frowns as he calls it dead end, sure it's not a way to get rich. But she wouldn't say this is all that bad.
"As for not being anything to brag about... Well, I think that making people happy is something to be proud of don't you? Sure, it might not be the coolest thing ever. But I'd rather do something like this then be fighting for my life all the time."
She blushes for a moment and rubs the back of her head, kinda funny how she's trying to give life advice to someone who's older than her.
"But maybe that's just me? I mean, I'm pretty young, haven't seen everything or even close to it. But, I like to think I can offer some wisdom sometimes..."
At that she uses the other girl as an excuse to change the subject, wondering why she reacts so strongly to his question. But eh, best not to pry into these things.
"Well, I'm sure you'd be a great idol Rise-chan! But of course, you aren't one. Hah, who could imagine someone like that coming in here? We've just weirdos like Persona users and Magical girls after all!"
She grins and blatantly attempts to shift the topic, confusion is better than discomfort right? Although, knowing this place it might not confuse Rise at all.
Naw... I bet someone is going to host a party where everyone is invited. And her and idol...
*he looks to Rise*

[Of course, how could he forget? At this point, even he was aware of the ordeals the Wild Cards had faced up until this point. This was quite possibly that Rise Kujikawa, the idol that was part of Yu's team, her reaction was just a confirmation. But he wasn't that cruel, he could understand her position. And so, Kazuya smiled at her with both eyes closed and, placing his left elbow on the counter, leaning his head against his hand, he smiled at her.]
Of course, my bad Rise.
I think I confused you with another one of those famous idols, you have that kind of air to you, sorry!
[Kazuya simpy chuckled.]
Unfortunately, Gamma is a bit too busy to notice Pat, instead, he simply sighs and shakes his head, turning back to Homura
I'm not trying to make light of your.... Situation... Its just... Well.... Sometimes I think it'd be nice to have something to....
Oh boy, now she's done it. Gamma quickly gets up off the wall and scrambles to the front of the counter
Y... Don't just say that sort of thing, I'd rather not freak anyone out if avoidable. I could use any customers I get.... Plus whenever magic gets involved that usually requires a lot of explaining and... *sigh*
Gamma watches Rise carefully to see her reaction. Hopefully he can just pretend nothing happened and everything turns out fine, but well, you never know with this place.
Rise had been listening intently to Homura's monologue of sorts. Although it wasn't directed at her she still felt the impact of the message the young lady had intended to get across. Couple that with the dismissal of suspicion surrounding her status as an idol, even if they did probably figure it out, Rise began smiling her widest since taking her first step into the cafe.
I'm glad that's all cleared up then. A-and please, you all flatter me! I mean, anyone can be an idol if they try hard enough, you know? In fact, you already have the looks Homura so maybe you should give it a shot, heheh.
By now Rise would have finished her coffee.
*he gets up and stretches*
Now then. I wonder if there is a lamp in the giant blocky castle? Good night.
*he walks out before giving Gamma fifty bucks for a donation*
Gamma breathes a sigh of relief, nothing too complicated then. He waves to Hunter as the man leaves, and casually slides the money under the counter.
Well, glad that's all sorted out then. Anyone need anything else while we're here?
Gamma goes back to his spot against the back wall, nonchalant as always. He begins tossing and catching his shard of ice and waiting for others to speak up
Course, I don't mind it if you just talk, but hey, may as well make sure everyone's satisfied.
Can I have some hot chocolate? *Pat softly said as she begins to patch herself up with some bandages*

Homura blushes at Rise's words and turns away from the older girl, geez her? That sounds more like Mami-senpai.
"I don't really think I'd be cut out for it, let's just say that I'm uh... Busy? Yeah, I've got this... Part time job! Yup, and uh between that and school I just don't have any time for other stuff. Besides, fame isn't really my style. But um thanks for the compliment Rise-chan!"
After that she'd turn back to Gamma, her face attempting to look as cute and innocent as possible. Which for her, is pretty darn cute really.
"Aww, geez I'm sorry. But come on Gamma-kun. We both know you'll never avoid a little crazy around this place! Just take it in stride is what I always say, after all. Things might be crazy, but I bet people will still come anyways! And oh right, how much do I owe you?"
Gamma gets off the back wall and looks back over to Pat
Of course you can, though, do be careful. You look like you're in rough shape miss..... I don't think we've met before. Please, call me Gamma. That's what I usually ask anyways.
Gamma heads over to the mixer in order to make up another cup of hot chocolate, this one for Pat, meanwhile he looks back to Homura.... He breaks eye contact quickly, not going to fall into that one
Yeah, usually the case. Just the other day I got a man running late to his friend's wedding. Kind of amazing the sort of stories you here, even from these random people....
As for payment, well, you don't have to worry about that.
In a few short moments, Gamma heats up the hot chocolate mixture and pours a cup of it out to set in front of Pat

*Pat finishing bandaging herself up, she put her empty quiver and bow on the floor, near the chair she is on*

Oh Homura-senpai you're so modest, just another cute aspect about you! Although that modesty may not be too good for the idol business so maybe you should just stick to your day job. Speaking of which, you should tell me about it sometime, I'm actually kind of interested in it.
It's hard to believe that Rise would actually be interested so maybe she's just being nice, although she does seem to genuinely care. She looks over to Gamma now.
Hey, Gamma-senpai, what's your policy on refills?
She picked up her cup and started swaying it from side to side, winking at the lavender-haired man again.
*a man in silver steel plate and a sword strapped on his hip walks in*
Wonderful, hard to find a tarven in the Hamlet.
Homura looks at the girl stunned... Senpai? That's a little odd all things considered.
"Well, I uh guess I could say something sometime if you really want. It's not the most interesting job though, just little stuff here and there. And why senpai? I mean, it's flattering. But I'm probably younger than you... Well, I'm 14. I'd like to think I don't seem like it however."
Nothing interesting, sure Homura. Hah, there's a good reason she acts older than she really is after all. One can only fight for her life so many times before acting like a kid just feels... Wrong. She sighs slightly and takes another drink, no sense worrying about it too much. That in mind she'd turn back to Gamma, hoping to move away from this fun topic.
"Anyways, what have you been up to Gamma? It's been a little while since we spoke and I'm curious. Anything beyond running this place? And oh, if you need help with anything please let me know. I'm always happy to lend a hand after all!"
*Pat took out her journal and begins to write some stuff down and mark some missions/quests she had finished*
Upon hearing Rise's question, he immediately looks towards the back, finding a single piece of paper to refer to. Looks like it doesn't come up much. He turns back to the idol, just in time to catch her wink... Focus. Gamma takes a deep breath before replying
Apparently refills are half the original's price. You asked for a cup of coffee, lots of sugar, well, coffee usually goes for 400 yen, which makes a refill 200. Sorry for the wait, I'm still rather new to this.
Overhearing the Crusader, Gamma waves to the newcomer and shouts back to him
If I remember correctly, taverns mostly serve alcohol and stuff, more of a full restaurant. All I really have is coffee and snacks. That sort of thing. Still, feel welcome with whatever you need. Just be sure to ask.
Finally, Gamma goes back to his spot against the wall, he seems to consider something for a moment, then walks over to Homura so he can talk more quietly. Would rather not be overheard
Honestly, wish I could sometimes. But well, as you know, no phone and all makes it rather hard for me to contact you. *chuckle* Unless I'm supposed to use smoke signals. Not like I know how to make fire anyways.... Anyways, I ended up in this forest a little ways back, had a rather unfortunate encounter with a porcupine and all....

"I actually have one now Gamma, it's not much but I figured I should at least get ahold of something that makes calls ya know? If you've got any paper I can just write down my number."
Her eyes go a bit dark at the mention of a forest, such places tend to gather Witches, among other things.
"And a forest huh? You didn't see anything weird did you? Perhaps..."
At this point she's outright whispering for a moment.
"Witches, they're known to gather in the odd forest after all. Not to mention the Nexus is pretty weird in more ways than one. So, anything I need to be concerned about in there? Might look myself sometime if I get a chance."
Gamma briefly leans away from Homura to wave over to the Crusader

Gamma leans back over the counter and begins slowly writing his number down, using this as cover to continue the whispered conversation
I wouldn't worry about witches there. Seems to be something else going on entirely. Rather, well, I've sort of been reaching out to this serpent, he's kind of paranoid so... Well, lets just say I'm having to go through quite the series of hoops.....
Gamma briefly glances around, no one else who's really in on it seems to be around, so he feels better continuing
I'm mostly worried because well, not everyone agrees with me on that front. I'm worried Kazuya might do something dangerous and... Well, I don't feel confident about fighting him that's for sure. Been doing this sort of thing a lot longer than I have, probably don't stand a chance. *chuckle* Go figure, even with all sorts of monsters around, people are still some of the scariest things.
While awaiting her response from Gamma, Rise had a quick look around the cafe. She'd notice the clock on the wall and, upon doing so, jumped up from her seat.
O-oh no I completely lost track of time! Sorry but I've gotta head out, it was lovely talking to all of you!
Rise hightails it out the door, having forgotten to pay... Although after a short delay she must've remembered as she pokes her head through the door once more, her cheeks red with embarrassment.
Oh uh, right I need to pay for myself don't I? I hope this is enough.
Rise just drops the required amount of yen to cover her drink on the floor before finally skedaddling for good.
*Pat fix the position of her glasses to make sure they dont fall off at the wrong time*

Founded this in the Hamlet infront of the manor. I question of what is this.
Gamma laughs a little and leans away from his conversation to wave over to Rise... That girl, hopefully nothing happens to her. Gamma briefly sighs and tries to keep track of the money she dropped
Odds are I'm losing some of that, but still, rather refreshing to see people like her around. Far too often its just nonsense or.... Well, I guess I supply a fair bit of gloom, don't I? *sigh* Oh well, life goes on.
Gamma accepts the card and looks at the Crusader briefly
I'll be sure to check this out in a bit, but my apologies, would you mind waiting for a moment, I was having a bit of a conversation. Perhaps the injured girl over there would be of more interest
Gamma nods towards Pat before returning to his previous conversation
Homura sighs and shakes her head, for some reason she's not too worried about the snake.
"Gamma, don't get in fights you know you can't win. I'm sure it's a very nice snake, but what kinda hoops are we talking about? Listen, if you're getting into something dangerous cause of this thing maybe don't."
The girl pauses at that, worries aside maybe leaving it be isn't the best way... Gah, this sounds like one giant mess to Homura. Either way, she's not about to let anything happen to him. For good or for ill he is a friend after all.
"I... Okay to be honest? I just don't want you getting killed over something like this, Kazuya's not completely unreasonable right? So if it comes to it just don't fight him... I guess, I dunno. Whole thing sounds kinda messed up, think there's a way to fix it peacefully? Anyways, you should probably deal with other people right? I'll be around so uh take care of that."
The girls offers an attempt at a reassuring smile, probably better not to let on how concerning this actually is.

Gamma sighs and leans back, if only things were so simple. Regardless, his options aren't exactly plentiful
I've tried making peace so many times, Kaz isn't having any of it. I won't pretend that he's entirely wrong, but I simply believe he's seeing the whole situation the wrong way... Well.. I can't really imagine him not going for the poor thing.
Gamma leans in a little closer now, though perhaps this isn't the best of times to continue
So... Well... It can't really be right to just let this sort of thing happen, right? *sigh* I never should have brought it up. My apologies. Just, remember to call me if you need anything.
With that, Gamma stands back up, leaving his phone number behind for Homura and returning to his usual place along the wall

Jiyu takes off his headphones and looks at Gamma again
"Hey, uhh Gamma was it? How much was that Coke anyway?"
Gamma looks back to Crusader, one eyebrow raised.... The girl... Probably Homura, since he was just speaking to her, not sure what the house means though

Jiyu walks over to the counter and places 250 yen on it
"I'll be taking my leave, see ya guys."
And with that, he leaves the cafe

Gamma pauses for a moment to think back on his talk with Kazuya. Probably the Marry he was going on about then
Let me guess, she was a little girl, much like Azami... Whatever they are. Of course their abilities are scary, people've been scared of them for a while. A little sad really.
Gamma waves to Jiyu as he walks away, gratefully accepting the payment. Not doing so bad for such a small business
Homura glances at the man in armor, not quite sure why he'd be scared of her. She offers him a smile without moving from her seat.
"And why do you say that Mr? I'm just Homura Akemi a normal middle school girl. So um what could this thing you mean be?"
With that, having collected her thoughts she'd return to her fun talk with Gamma. Walking over towards him to speak a bit less loudly.
"I'll be blunt, even if it's not quite the right thing to do... I don't think you should mess with Kazuya, it's pretty selfish of me. But, I don't want to let my friends get hurt..."
With that she'd wander off towards her seat, wondering just what the hell she's gonna do about this mess.
Yes, and again, I feel sorry for that young lass that Kazuya is taking care of... reminds me of like my old friend.
*he shows Gamma a scroll that radiates light*
