Welcome to the Velvet Room
Inside the Velvet Room Igor sits, simply waiting for a certain Persona User to walk though the door, quite curious how he hasn't arrived yet. But for some reason he's got a feeling tonight may well be interesting. And with that the doors of the Velvet Room open, appearing to all that think to look in various spots of the city. It does get rather boring after all.
A special yellow door opens in the sky and out falls Igor's trusty attendent, hitting the floor with a thud as PK gets up, bowing to Igor before yelling Pancake Knight! Reporting for duty!
Elizabeth takes a few steps towards the center of the room, holding her compendium as tight as always. "Oh my, of all the people to waltz on in and make some noise."
PK then turns to Elizabeth, bowing at her before taking a look at the book she holds, searching his own pockets before turning up empty Hello there! Pancake Knight at your service! Part time Attendant of the Velvet Room! How can I help you!
Elizabeth lightly hits PK on the head with her tome, before turning to Igor. "Master, did you really allow someone such as this access and... a part time job?"
Igor looks over the young man and shakes his head, he really needs to teach the boy that falling from the sky isn't a good idea. And how to read, and lots of other things. "Hello Pancake Knight, how goes it on this fine night? And ah, I see you're here as well Elizabeth, well. We I believe a new guest shall be visiting us soon, assuming that I've right anyways. As for PK, he's got some interesting talents yes. Besides, the boy's heart is in the right place." The old man smirks over at both, should be quite a thing to see if those two can get along.
The door to the velvet room slowly begins to open. Into the room stumbles an unsure young man with a nervous look about him. He's unsure if entering such a place was truly in his best interest but he figured he had nothing to lose and his mind had become clustered by his own memories he had been pushing back for so long. This seems a bit sketchy...maybe this wasn't the right place... Quintus suddenly looks slightly surprised to see a old man with a long nose sitting at a desk. He also notices the strangely dressed woman and masked knight. Whatever this place was he could already see it wasn't normal yet something about it reminded him of something. Something he had been trying to brush off as a simple dream for a while.
*PK gets hit on the head without any resistance, getting cards spinning around his head as he shakes off the dizziness, yelling back at Elizabeth Hey now! That's no way to treat a co-worker! *PK then turns to Igor and perks up Its going great so far! I've had tons of pancakes before I came here so I'm ready to go! Just tell me what to do! *PK then sees Quin and jumps up, what was the protocol again for a new guest? PK then stands up straight and bows, trying not to twitch too much and stay silent, letting Liz and Igor take the lead

Igor folds his hands over his face and glaces at Quin, so it begins. Now let's see where this Chosen of Philemon stands in his journey shall we? "Hello, and welcome to the Velvet Room. This place exists between dream and reality, between mind and matter. They are my assistants. Elizabeth, and the part timer." He gestures towards the other two and grins behind his hands, it's been quite some time hasn't it... And for some reason this guest's Persona is active, how unusual. "As for myself, I am Igor Master of this place, though not it's maker. At any rate, seems you've awakened to your gift by now correct? Yet... Inside you I sense something else, akin to a Shadow. Yet not of your own soul, so then. What exactly do you know this far? I'll not bore you with things you've heard already, Quintus Geminus."
A teenage boy with headphones and a black jacket on slowly enters the Velvet Room with his hands in his pockets while looking around "Did that door just transport me to another world or something?"
"He's not even wearing the right colors..." Elizabeth mutters under her breath, before standing up straight near Igor's chair. She does a small bow as Quintus enters and is greeted.
PK bursts out at Jiyu, exploding with gripping dialogue Yep! That's right! Welcome to the Velvet Room! I'm Pancake Knight! Over there is my master Igor and my co-worker Elizabeth! We fuse personas and give life advice! I also make pancakes! Here! Have some! PK then throws a bundle of pancakes at Jiyu, then hearing his name being called by Igor, nodding in response to the part timer comment
Igor glances to Jiyu and nods, that is one way to look at it. Hmm... He doesn't seem to be a guest of the place, so no need for the full bit. "That it did, I am Igor Master of the Velvet Room. Hmm, a Persona user correct? Yet, you seem to hold only the power of one inside yourself. Either way, welcome to this place, have you come with questions perhaps or by simple chance?"
Quintus seems to be shaken by the sound of his own name being spoken by the man but he knows that the answer he seeks are most likely hidden in this room. He would step forward once before trying to recall what he remembers of the masked mans words. A Persona is a being made from people's souls...They're the gods and demons we all harbor...At least, that's what I was told before. I didn't quite understand back then but I had a dream where a man in a mask spoke to me. That was before...well, before I think I died. There were always rumors in the city I lived in. Rumors of a vicious killer who would kidnap kids who went out after dark...I...didn't think it was real but...then a note was sent to everyone's homes... I...I'm not sure but I had the dream the following night...I think he was telling me not to go into the forest. Quintus looks hesitate to continue as a subtle fear seems to appear behind his eyes. He pauses for a moment to check to see if the man known as Igor has anymore to say.
Jiyu only catches three of the pancakes, letting the rest fall to the ground "Uhh thanks, I guess." Jiyu then turns his attention to Igor "I'm just passing by to just check out what this place is all about. Wait a minute, how do you know that I'm a persona user?"
"Ah, indeed that man you met was Philemon, he is the true creator of this place and you might say my employer... And would that happen to have been Sumaru City? If so I could say a bit about that, though an old guest of mine. Tatsuya Suou, would perhaps know more." He pauses for a moment, why would Philemon warn against such a thing hmm? There's no telling for sure, but it must have been needed. "As for that warning... I can't say with 100% accuracy, but his words always do hold a meaning, dear guest. At any rate, I shall help guide you and hone your power. No doubt you'll need that in the coming days, but... That darkness in your soul. Have you any idea what it might be?" The man raises an eyebrow, this feeling... It's quite concerning at best, perhaps something akin to The Crawling Chaos even?
He turns back towards Jiyu, heh. It's not often anyone asks him that question. "Simply put? I offer aid to certain Persona users. To be exact those with the skill to command more than one Persona, although. In this place I might just help anyone who comes in. Things are strange to say the least after all... But enough musing."
Quintus looks forward curiously at the mention of a darkness within him. "Could he mean the parasite?" He wondered. The parasite so far hadn't been causing him too much trouble. He thought that the man might be confused. I don't think there's any darkness within me. Uh...Aren't you supposed to help me understand persona a bit better or something?
"Hmm, sounds pretty interesting. By the way, you wouldn't mind if I stayed here for a while, wouldn't you?"
"Allow me to be blunt then since you'll not explain, that parasite might well be your undoing at some point. As for your power, I mostly deal in fusion of Personas in one's hands. But yes I could perhaps say a bit..." He pauses and gathers his thoughts... Before a deck of cards begins floating before them, the major Arcana being displayed to Quin. The Emperor specifically, stands out to the young man. "The power of Persona comes in many forms, figures of myth and lore as you've seen already I'm sure. Those figures however come in many Arcana, to someone with only one that information is useless... You however, possess the power of the wild card. The strength of more than one mask shall be yours in time. Although, unlike those of the Fool your skills can't command anything..." The Hierophant rushes towards his face now, however the affinity for it doesn't seem quite as strong as that of the last card. "Arcana such as that are something you can use to an extent, but not as well as those one might call "main", that's a basic gist anyways. So, anything you'd like to ask me?"
So much information is a bit much for Quin to take in at once but he tries to pay attention regardless. Personas, arcanas, and affinity? All of this was a lot more complicated then he believed it to be. Uh, how exactly do I go about getting other Personas anyway? I don't imagine they'll just fall out of the sky.
Jiyu just leans on the wall, listening in on the conversation
*he somehow enters in thinking it's the trinket shop in the Hamlet* Wait a minuet... this isn't the curios shop...
Igor unfolds his hands and flashes a grin at the young man, well... "That is something you'll have to discover on your own Quintus, however. I can assure you that finding yourself is the key to gaining that power..." He pauses for a moment, wondering how much to tell the man about it. Hmm, a hint is all he gets unless things become dire. "However, perhaps if you turned towards something else held in your soul. It might shed some light on the matter? But I digress. Now then, let us see what these cards may hold, shall we?" The cards spin around onto Igor's table, forming an orderly deck that he shuffles before pulling a card from it, namely one showing a door with a blue door with a skull on it, stairs leading up towards it as the holes where its eyes should be, seem to stare back at Quin. "Ah, the Death Arcana. Hmm, if I were to guess this stands for something in your past, some great change that happened, or will happen? Hmm, Death also signifies cycles, however. Death, and rebirth that sort of thing. Hmm... If I to wager, however, I'd say in your case? It means both past and upcoming, for some reason I suscept that great change is coming. And well, you've come here, gathered that parasite, and gained a Persona, quite a bit of change wouldn't you say? And yet, I'd warn against assuming it's done... Still, that's enough for now, can't give you everything after all." With that he'd smirk at Quin and wait patiently, wondering how this young man with a horrible fear of death will react to that card before him.
Quin stares down at the card. His fears grew as he tried to keep them contained. Death? He didn't understand how a card like this could foretell his fate. Though only a change was mentioned could this have to do with the strange memories swirling around in his head. The memories he couldn't believe himself. For so long he tried to push them deep down into his mind but he knew that, that was no longer an option. He was lost for what to do... I...This...this is just fortune telling though, right. It's not like pulling cards has any real meaning...Haha...I think I made a mistake in coming here...I...I guess I'll come back if what you say is true but...I don't need to change anymore...as long as I can protect myself I'm fine. I don't need some grand destiny to control me. With that Quintus would exit the room. He himself is unsure what to do but the man's words truly did effect him. He needed to look into the parasites more and learn the truth of this power he had so hastily accepted. This was his resolution for controlling his fate.
Endymion was a normal college student attending a second rate University in Texas. Though he's grade were average and his life plain he always tried his best. But something always held him back. Endy knew this was true but could never put his finger on it. He was on his way to the book store to purchase his textbooks for the semester but was lost. He took a left at an alley way and came across a door that was wide open. "What the...," he said as he inspected the door, "This door leads to no where!" Through the mist blue vail the voice of an old man could be heard but the words were muffled. Endy leaned closer but was under able to keep his balance as he tumbled through the Vail. When he opened his eyes Endy was shocked to find himself in what seemed like a jail cell. He immediately ran to the bars to see if there was anyone around. His eyes widen to the sight of an elderly man sitting at a desk speaking to others, "Hey old man let me out I swear I did nothing wrong!"
When the mist clears a little for Endy, a man with a pointy red mask, clad in white appears faintly, his mask seems to obscure his face as he speaks to Endy Hello! Welcome to the Velvet Room! This place exists between Dream and matter, mind and reality! My name is Pancake Knight! I shall be your guide! My master is busy with another guest! Now, how can I be of service?
Jiyu turns to Endy "Can you please quiet down? I'm trying to think about something."
*he sees the man on the table, his elongated nose brings shivers down Reynauld's spine, resparking the cold terrors that he suffered upon fighting the monstrous insectoids and vamperic noblemen and mistresses within the Crimson Court, yet Reynauld approaches him and his sentient heart beats in confusion, making the crusader light headed* Are you some fortune teller? Or a seller of trinkets and relics?
Endy looked at the gentleman clad in white and wearing a red mask, "......ok this has to be a prank I'm out of here." He turned around and looked back into his cell seeing the door was gone. "Ummm ok this isn't a prank holy crap I'm in jail. Hey umm Pancake knight what is going on please explain everything," he asked nervously
OOC: Is it alright if I play as Ann from the actual game?
OOC: This one’s sort of dead, it happens fairly often, but of course, we’d be glad to have actual P5 characters. I’d do one myself but I’m afraid I’ve only seen a Let’s Play, a bit worried about the standard being a bit high and all.
OOC: Ah, ok
