Open the Game
You wake up in a dark room. You can't seem to make heads or tails as to how you got there, but that's the least of your worries. After a quick pat down, you'd find all your gear to be absent, save for five tokens in whatever passes for a pocket.
"Oh my. You've finally woken up."
A distorted voice booms around the dark room.
"It has been some time. I was worried they were too rough with you lot. Well then, let's begin shall we?"
The voice dies down as the lights erupt around the room. Around you is a typical warehouse, howevere it is lined from front to back with multiple arcade cabinets. Most notably would be the only pair of lit up cabinets at the back of the room. The leftmost cabinet is adorned with several images of battling machines and has a title that reads, "Gekitotsu Robots". Whereas the rightmost cabinet has several samurai locked in intense combat, and a title that reads, "Giri Giri Chambara".
"Go on."
The voice beckons.
"Open the Game."
Hiiro gets up while holding onto his head, looking around in his pockets but finding none of his gashats or gamer driver, turning to the voice
Who are you. Explain yourself.
Hiiro then looks around the room and notices the 2 games, Emu used one and Kiriya used the other, how strange, taking one of the tokens he walks up to Giri Giri Chambara and inserts it, speaking to no one but himself
Proceeding with the samurai excision
OOC: Is this to be combat oriented or something else?
OOC: Mostly combat.
Emu would wake up after Hiiro with a confused expression as he looks around. Without even bothering to check for his gear he would begin staring at all the game cabinets with the expression of an excited child.
"Woah! I've never seen so many game cabinets in one room before! Which one should I play first...Uh, do any of these work even? I'm so excited!"
Emu would wander over to the familiarly named cabinet "Gekitotsu Robots" and try to press the buttons to see if he could start the game.
Hiiro then notices Emu wake up, turning to him to speak
Ah, Emu, your awake. Do you have any idea how we got here? To be frank I don't like this. But it looks like we have to play these games to get out.
OOC: Is this a Kamen Rider only thing?
OOC: Absolutely not. Merely inspired.
Kotori wakes up with a bad headache
Wha? Where am I?
Seeing the arcade and the people, she opts to kick the Giri Giri arcade machine
What the heck is this thing?
Emu would finally notice Hiiro who for some reason he hadn't acknowledged before.
"Hiiro? What are you doing in the arcade? I just assumed I woke up in one without realizing it. Wouldn't be the first time and if it was late enough I wouldn't have remembered this room well. Especially if I was busy practicing.
I guess, this is a pretty strange room though. Wait, what do you mean we have to play the games to get out? Does this have something to do with the game virus?"
*Hiiro turns to the girl that just kicked the machine with a look of disdain, didn't she know what a game was?
What are you doing? This is a video game. You use it to cure people of sickness.
*Hiiro then turned to Emu and shrugs
I have no idea if this is related to the game virus, but it is quite obvious we must play them. As for your arcade habits you should be careful to not ruin your eye sight.

Does it fix medical issues you were born with?
Upon the insertion of Hiiro's token the screen comes to life with a main menu. However, that wasn't the only thing that came to life as a whirring can be heard from the cabinet. Although, a casual scrub like Hiiro might mistake this for typical cabinet behaviour.
"Who am I? That's a surprise, dear doctor."
Emu would notice that the buttons wouldn't yield a response, however, should he try to insert a token...
"Please do not kick my equipment. Or I assure you that you'll have a bad time."
The voice threatens the now conscious girl.
Emu would hesitate at the cabinet for a moment before taking a token and putting it into the machine. A brief red glow would take over his eyes before vanishing as his once care-free demeanor is replaced with one of confidence.
"If we have to beat these games to continue then you have nothing to worry about. I am the genius gamer M after all. I'll clear this with no continues!"

Do you mean pancreas and video game? They aren't hard words.
No, I don't think they cure medical issues that you are born with. Only the bugster virus, and even so these machines seem hardly capable of performing an operation
Hiiro then raises an eyebrow at the strange whirring, muttering to himself
My gashat never did that...
Hiiro then tries to find the voice that spoke, looking around in the room
A surprise? Genm? Parad? Who is it. I have operations to do. Your taking up my valuable time.
Oh, Sorry weird talking box.
And I mean Panacea, y'know, Comes in a small bottle?
Cures all diseases, Hella expensive?
Doesn't cure medical issues.....

I don't understand most of this, and I'm assuming you do, so I'll just follow your lead.
Taiga wakes up with an annoyed groan... And oh wonderful, some random girl, and two of his allies, all his shit is gone, and he's got a killer headache too. Talk about a bad freaking day already.
"Oi, you lot know what in the hell is going on around here? I'm not in the mood to screw around and I've got work to deal with, so hopefully you guys have a clue how we're getting outta here."
Uhh...... No. No Idea what's happening.
These Vidyo games are talking tho.
... Do you mean penicillin? You don't seem to have a grasp on medical devices and medicine.
Hiiro then turns to Taiga and looks towards his direction and shrugs, no idea on what's going on
I am as confused as you Taiga. The only clue is to play these games. So that's what we shall do. It should be easy with the 4 of us.
"Even if I gave you my name...would you believe me?"
The voice taunts Hiiro as Emu's cabinet also comes to life. Full with the main menu screen and a whirring sound.
"Here, you may call me Doctor Pac-Man."
The voice laughs as Hiiro's screen continues to flash with the "START GAME" button.
"Oh. He's up. Great..."
Pack man?
What'd you get that name for? Holding things?
"Someone protect the small one. I may actually hurt her."
Why would I not believe you?
Hiiro then hears Dr.Pacman and his face contorts with distress, how?
Didn't they defeat him in the special that was totally canon? The writer obviously watched that one!
Dr.Pac Man? How? Nngh... No matter. I am the best doctor in the world. Your petty games stand no chance.
Hiiro then fumbles around with the controls until he gets pass the start game screen, hopefully he knows what he is doing
"Doctor Pac-Man? Why does that name almost sound familiar? Well, doesn't matter. No matter what game you're trying to put on I'll clear it no matter what!"
Emu would click the start button as he begins to tune everything else out. It seems he's beginning to fully concentrate on whatever game may come up on the screen.
"Now, let's see about this game, Doctor Pac-man!"
"Doctor Pac-Man!? Son of a bitch, why in the fuck are you around hmm? Or perhaps it's just a name.. Either way, consider yourself a Bugster if you're behind this kidnapping."
Taiga looks around at the arcade cabinets, searching for something he'd actually be good at playing since it seems as though these games are likely the only choice for now.
"And no kid, the name is because of an old video game series, the player controls a creature called Pac-Man and devours yellow pellets to proceed to the next level, one of the classics of gaming... No clue why he named himself after it."
Oh........
Ok. It's a technology thing then....
Kotori peeks over Aid's shoulder at the screen
The distorted voice laughs as the men press the start buttons.
"Enough about me. Let's play, shall we? It'd be boring otherwise."
Suddenly the screens turn off as the whirring gets louder.
A small device appears from the top of each arcade cabinet. They look like small radar dishes, however the antennae begin to glow with a white light.
"Oh! Do be careful. If you die in the game, you die in real life. Ta-ta!"
The voice's warning is the last thing they all hear before the left radar shoots Emu and Kotori, and the right shoots Taiga and Hiiro. Their bodies begin to disappear as if the beam was unraveling their very being. Then blackness.
Emu and Kotori awaken once more, however they now appeared to be in a futuristic scrap yard. The most notable part of their environment is a simple boxing ring.
Hiiro and Taiga awaken in a small forest opening. A pond ripples softly to the left of them and a large tree decorated with charms stands proudly to the right.
Uuu.... My stomach doesn't agree with warping......
Kotori clutches her stomach as she leans against some scrap
Taiga looks around the area carefully, his instincts telling him that this place will be a pain in the ass for some reason... Well, at least Hiiro should be helpful if they can find anything like a dammed sword.
"So I guess we're work with each other eh Hiiro? Well, I'm willing to help if you are. No sense doing stupid crap and getting in each other's way after all."
With that said, he'd begin examining the rippling pond, no telling what could be such a thing in a game like this after all.
Emu would get up as he holds his head. He would begin looking around before adressing Kototri.
"Looks like we really were dragged into the game. No need to worry though, this isn't too unusual for me! Time to get this game started then, right? Henshin!"
Emu would grab for his game driver and prepare to put it on...if it was there. He finally realizes that he has none of his usual gear.
"N-nani?!? Where's my game driver? How am I supposed to transform without that...Uh, it doesn't matter, I still won't lose so don't worry! I'm sure there's something I could use around here."
Emu would look around the scrapyard for anything to help him. He wasn't sure what he needed but he'd try to collect anything useful.
Die in the game? We do that all the time. This is n- what!
*Hiiro then gets zapped with the radar, shaking and falling to the ground, his eyes getting heavy
W-what is the?!? Dr.Pac Man! You'll pa...
*Hiiro then drops to the floor and disappears completely, re awakening at the forest clearing and looking around, noticing Taiga, nodding with his suggestion and walking towards the tree
Let us proceed then Taiga. Perhaps there is something in the tree?

After settling her stomach, Kotori checks out the ring, hoisting herself up into it
What's this? Some kind of battle arena?
Kotori may have actually found a saving grace for Emu. The scrap she was leaning against begins to shudder as if something were underneath it.
"REBOOTING SYSTEMS AT LEVEL 50!"
The voice comes from a rusty pink robot as it rises from the scrap. Its left arm equipped with what looked to be a crane hook and its right arm would have a regular, albeit robotic, hand and a pile driver equipped to its forearm. It turns to Emu and throws him a controller, it then faces Kotori and gives her a rusty sword and buckler.
"GATTON APPROACHES. ALERT! ALERT!"

Taiga would notice that there are several well rounded stones around the pond, hey, a weapon is a weapon. Upon reaching the base of the tree, Hiiro would notice a small kendo sword wrapped in charms and talismans. However as they look around they can feel eyes on them from deeper into the forest.
Kotori takes the sword, and attaches the Buckler to her arm
Shield....
Never used one before....

Emu grabs onto the controller and examines it for a moment. He holds it in his hands like he was born to hold it as his gamer instincts take hold.
"Now, let's see. Usually the controller controls the character on the screen. I guess in this case that character would be you though, right Mr. Robot? Well, have no fear! With me at the controls there's no way we can lose!"
Emu would begin testing a few of the buttons to see if his theory actually held true.
Taiga quickly gathers the stones from the ground and stuffs them into his lab coat pockets, anything is better than nothing even if it won't do great... Can still blind someone with a good toss.
"Looks like we've got our weapons for now, eh Hiiro? Well... I don't know about you, but I'm feeling something off in that damm forest."
He'd call out to his fellow, and begin regrouping with the other Rider, no sense getting split up if they can avoid it after all. From there, he'd look around the place and aim to figure out exactly where those dammed eyes are.
*Hiiro picks up the sword and notices the lack of sharpness, of course he could cut anything, but it would be easier with an edge
It's no scapel, but it'll do.
*Hiiro then turns to Taiga and yells out to him, the "weapons" aren't exactly what he was used to but he will make do
Indeed. But what's wrong with the forest?
*Hiiro then notices the strange eyes, backing up into the center of the ring and keeping his sword at the ready
Who's there? Show yourself.

Also, The hecks a Gatton?
Emu would find that he did indeed control the robot. And Kotori? Well... she has a hat now. So that's a thing.
Emu now has full control over ExBot!
Suddenly a large red machine drops out of the sky and into the ring. The robot points to the pair as it speaks.
"I am Gatton! Levels boosted to 70!"
He beckons for the pair to enter the ring.

A familiar figure begins to walk out of the forest as he claps his hands.
"Welcome to my domain. I am Kaiden of the one hundreth standing. Prepare to meet your end."
The figure would then proceed to draw his two blades and enter a stance with one blade in front of his face and another in front of his chest. A whistle could be heard as a leaf lands in the pond, causing the ripples to start once more.
Emu would then begin to try and remember everything he knew about fighting games. This was a bit different considering the circumstances but he had won many large fighting game tournaments before thus his title as genius gamer M. Emu would also nod over at Kotori.
"Alright, this can't be too hard! I definitely won't lose! Let's clear this with super co-op play!"
He would attempt to have ExBot enter the ring hoping that the controls for the robot were the same as perhaps a 3D fighter of some kind. Perhaps one that featured many masked heroes/villains who fought against each other.
Taiga glances over at the ripples for a moment, but he doesn't have time to work on that when they've got a foe right before them, best stay focused on the enemy.
"One hundreth standing huh? Sounds like a total mook to me, how about you Hiiro?"
The man focuses on their foe's head, a rock in his hand quickly sailing right for the dammed thing's right eye as Taiga rushes forward, aiming to move towards the thing's right side and follow up his rock with a kick to the thing's leg. Blades or no, he can't just stand back.
That thing... It reminds me of a bugster. Well then, no matter. You'll fall like the rest.
Hiiro then graps the sword, holding it in front of him as he takes a deep breath, going completely silent until the leaf hits the pond and he springs into action, running towards the figure and doing a sweep with the wooden blade in attempt to knock it down onto the floor
Metal.....
Kotori infuses her shield with Lightning and rushes at the robot, ramming it with her shield and sending the lightning through the machine
ExBot enters the ring with ease. The controls were very fluid. Kotori charges at the robot with her shield coursing with electricity and it hits home as Gatton cartoonishly hops around.
Gatton: 95% / ExBot: 100% / Kotori: 100%
Health bars appear above the ring as Gatton stops jumping around.
"Overcharging is not good for electronic devices. Please refrain! Please refrain!"
Gatton then lifts his left arm and fires five small energy blasts at Kotori before rushing, as fast as a sluggish machine can, at Exbot. He cocks back his Gatton Smasher as he goes in for a haymaker.

Kaiden sees to the rock and slices it up with ease, however this gives Taiga and Hiiro ample time to knock him down from both sides. His legs have a large red mark on the front and a single mark on the back of his right leg.
"I am Kaiden of the one hundreth standing, not the one hundreth sitting! Take this!"
He hops up to his knees and deftly spins around in an attempt to slash at their legs himself.
Emu smiles confidently as he begins rapidly inputting commands for ExBot to follow. He has the robot crouch and move to the right of Gatton with a roll before having them unleash a sweeping kick to try and knock Gatton off balance.
"Alright, now let's show them our combo technique!"

Taiga lifts one leg up quickly, the other one taking the blow head on as the man winces, from there he'd take a moment to shake it off before drawing another rock. This time aiming to simply their target down and slam the thing into its skull.
"I'd prefer you to be Kaiden of the one hundredth dying frankly, makes our lives a lot easier ya know?"
Hiiro attempts to back pedal but takes a few hits to the legs, frowning in a bit of pain as he analyzes what to do next
Doesn't matter to me who you are. Because I'm the best doctor, simple as that.
As Taiga aims for the head, Hiiro lunges and attempts to stab at the torso, hopefully knocking it over or at least off balance
OOC: Late, I gotta sleep
ExBot evades the haymaker and makes quick work of Gatton as he falls to the ground.
Gatton: 85% / ExBot: 100%
"I've fallen! Initiating payback protocol!"
Gatton quickly lunges for ExBot's left leg using his Gatton Smasher. He attempts to bind his leg in the claw and swing him across the ring before standing once more.

Kaiden prepares to parry the incoming stab but is caught off guard by the sudden impact in the back of his head. The stab would hit its mark and send Kaiden tumbling backwards before he hops to his feet.
"Well aren't you clever. Kaiden of the one hundreth dying? How do you think that makes me feel! That was very rude! Hmph!"
Kaiden makes his contempt clear before rushing the pair down and slashing at their chests while he runs past.
Taiga smirks at their foe and rolls to the side, the blades flying past him as the man performs his usual combat roll. From there he'd quickly toss the rock in his hands for whatever part of the head he can aim at.
"Do you think I care how you feel Bugster? You'll just come back at some point anyways, so I'm just not concerned with your life or you feelings... I'll complete the mission, that's it in the end."
Hiiro notices the oncoming strike and attempts to roll under it, however the strike still catches him on the arm and leaves a nasty gash, but with him behind the figure he runs and delivers a rising up slash to the enemy
Don't underestimate doctors.
(And with that I head to bed! Sorry!)
EXBot would be tossed across the ring to the other side before quickly attempting to regain his ground with a bit of frantic button mashing on Emu's part.
"Grbas are always hard to counter in these games from such close ranges...Well no time for doubting myself! It's time to launch a counter attack of our own!"
Emu would input button commands to try and have ExBot go for a simple punch towards Gatton's chest with their right hand before attempting to activate the pile driver to once again apply a large amount of force to the chest region if the first strike was to connect.
ExBot begins his counterattack but his fist is met by Gatton's Gatton Smasher in a quick block maneuver.
"Ha. Ha. Ha. You cannot best me! I am the ultimate fighting rob-"
And then the pile driver activates with the same flourish of a typical finisher. The large metal rod is slammed into the Gatton Smasher and destroys it and most of Gatton's right arm.
"ERROR! ERROR! LEVEL DIFFERENCE POWER MISMATCH! INITIATE PANIC PROTOCOLS!"
Gatton: 50% / ExBot: 80%
Using his remaining arm, Gatton would launch multiple energy blasts at ExBot. All of them at chest height above the ground and no bigger then a foot in diameter.

The rising strike and assault of stones causes more marks to appear on Kaiden. Each one of the marks then begins to pulse softly.
"Bugster? I am not a Bugster! I am Kaiden of the one hundreth standing! I will be your doom!"
Kaiden would then rush Taiga and slash his blades in the form of an X. However, his movements and actions are significantly more sluggish, probably due to head trauma.
Taiga suddenly grabs his fellowman's blade... Where in the fuck did Hiiro go anyways? But oh well, at least he gets another weapon now.
"You are a video game boss come to life as far as I can tell, that's a prefect sum up of Bugsters, so yeah you're just another glitch for me to destroy."
With that the man raises his own newly gotten weapon, slamming his blade into the path of both swords and being sent back a few feet for his troubles, Taiga reels from the impact for a moment before quickly stepping in and sending a kick flying at Kaiden's left knee.
"Projectiles? Uh, wait, do I have anything for that?"
Emu would attempt to have ExBot block the first couple before eventually trying to dodge out of the way and to Gatton's left. He'd command ExBot to perform a grab of his own as he takes the crane hook like arm and attempt to use it to pull at Gatton's left arm trying to drive him into the ground before trying to drag him across the ring's surface and throwing him to the other side of the ring.
The first few projectiles do a good chunk of damage, but the simple side step was enough to deal with the rest. The hook would indeed catch Gatton's left arm and he'd be dragged around the ring like it was nothing.
Gatton: 20% / ExBot: 65%
"HOW!? HOW!? HOW!? DOES NOT COMPUTE!"
Gatton gets to his feet in a terrible daze. He wobbles around as he slowly approaches ExBot. He begins to smoke as where his right arm once was sparks with electricity. He's on his last legs and doesn't know it yet.

Kaiden's swords are lost in the struggle and the kick indeed drops him to the ground. He looks down at the ground without any words. After a few moments, he looks up at Taiga, his body is shaking.
"Video game? Glitch? Bugster? I'm none of those things! I'm Kaiden of the one hundreth standing! A samurai so fierce that I'm both revered and feared for my strength. I am real..."
His arms go limps as he bows his head once more.
"Right?"
The man mutters something to himself before attempting to slam his wooden blade into Kaiden's right hand one, the goal being to slam the thing into the air and then quickly grab hold of it himself.
"Can't say anything about that, but this whole thing lines up to another experience of mine... And going by that, you're just some lines of code programmed to attack me for being here!"
Assuming his plan had worked, the man would have tossed the wooden sword behind him. Then quickly aimed to slam his new and improved weapon into Kaiden's skull with an overhead slash.
"Sorry, but as I said before I don't lose! I am the genius Gamer M! You better remember my name because it's GAME OVER for you! Let's finish this ExBot!"
With that Emu would begin inputting a complicated series of buttons to trigger a finisher. ExBot's body would begin to glow with a multitude of colors as it jumps up into the air. It would begin to soar through the air at a ferocious speed before it would aim a precise kick at the Gatton's head. Upon impact an explosion would fire off.
[ExBot Critical Finish!]
The kick meets its mark and the explosion goes off magnificently. All that remains after the dust settles is the head of Gatton.
Gatton: 0% / ExBot: 65%
GAME CLEAR!
The words appear in the sky as Emu and Kotori begin to turn back into blue light.
"Thank you Emu Hojo! Your assistance was appreciated!"
ExBot turns to them and waves as they return back to the warehouse.

"Code? I don't understand anything you're saying. So just-"
Before he could make his request for a quick death, it was already delivered unto him by Taiga. Kaiden would then erupt into shards of red light and then nothing.
GAME CLEAR!
The words appear above Taiga and Hiiro as they become light once again and return to the warehouse.

"Bravo! Bravo! Good show everyone! I'm impressed! Perhaps my gifts were a bit too lenient. I'll keep that in mind."
The voice is the first thing to greet them as they come to.
Taiga snorts at the voice, gifts? Is that what he's calling this crap? Tch, give em a real Gashat and then we'll see what's "lenient".
"How bout ya give Emu and I our Drives and Gashats back eh? Then we'll see about those gifts a yours, bet it'd be a lot of fun playing against Bang Bang Galaxy and Hyper Muteki."
Emu would look around to try and find the voice's origins before responding to it.
"Gifts? Weren't those just part of the game? A game without the means to beat it sounds pretty clunky to me. Though I suppose the conditions don't matter. No matter the game I'll beat it all the same."
He would raise his fist into the air as if to say that he accepts whatever challenged this "Doctor Pac-Man puts forth.
"No can do Taiga. Bit to dangerous for my goals at the moment. In due time, I assure you."
The voice would then laugh softly at Emu's words.
"Oh of course they were beatable. I just gave you some buffs to help your playing experience. Last captive I had said Baiksou Bike was the Dark Souls of racing games. Can you imagine that? And you plan to best my gauntlet do you? Perhaps I should bring in some of my newer games. Perhaps then you'd change your tune."
The voice tries to sound intimidating, but he's offering Emu the chance to play new games. So the threat probably falls on deaf ears.
Taiga smirks at the man's words, tch. How cowardly of him to hide like that... And new games huh?
"New stuff eh? I'm not the gamer Emu is but... I agree entirely! We'll clearly anything you toss at us, with no continues!"
Emu's attention seems to perk up at the mention of new games. That child-like glee seems to return to his eyes.
"New games? Sure, I'd be willing to give those a try! What kind of games are they? Are they challenging? I mean, uh, escaping should come first...right, Taiga?"
Emu would attempt to control himself as he remembers that they're being held captive in this place.
The man nods at Emu, getting out is the goal but... Somehow he doesn't think that they'll be leaving without clearing this crap, his gut just has that annoying feeling.
"Got that right Emu, but I've got this feeling that we'll need to take care of what he's throwing at us before we can get out, call it a guess, but anything less would seem unlikely to me."
As he turns away from Emu, the man would put his hands in his pockets and casually glare at seemingly nothing, whoever is doing this... They sound like an utter eyesore.
"Can't have you escaping just yet I'm afraid. But worry not, you clear my games and I'll set you free."
A snap is heard as the lights shut off. Moments later they hear another snap and the lights come back on revealing two new cabinets, "Ski Free" and "Space Invaders".
"These are the next wave you'll be dealing with. But no need to rush. You can feel free to rest now and save your progress if you'd like."
"Hmmm, saving our games might be useful. Even if I didn't have to fight myself that last battle took a lot of mental power. I might need to rest for now but I'm already calling the skiing game, Taiga. Shooting is your specialty anyway, right?"
Emu would begin walking around the room and investigating the actual contents of the warehouse apart from the arcade cabinets themselves.
During the moments of darkness there also came a rest station. A makeshift bunk bed layout using an empty storage area. Oddly enough, the rest area was adorned with a plush mole in a hard hat, he looks kind of mad.
OOC: Just wrapping this up for now. But no, it won't be closed. I'll probably return to this tomorrow? I can't say for sure. But I'll keep in mind you're interested, I know what your hours are roughly.

Parad wakes up in the dark room, mildly confused as to why he was sleeping.
"No driver? No matter, I see games, and I have tokens. Time for the REAL genius gamer M to get to work."
Parad walks up to the two games, brandishing a token. Almost in an entranced state, his lips curl into a childish grin.
Kotori stands up, confused

Last I remember.... I was fighting a giant metal thing?
She quickly checks herself for the sword and buckler from before

After having slept for quite a while, Sayaka eventually wakes up, still in her school uniform. She doesn't look like she could be much older than thirteen. and begins rubbing her eyes
Can't I have just five more minut.....
She soon opens her eyes to realize this is in fact not her room, and is instead an extremely dark room with arcade games. She immediately searches herself, and in addition to the tokens, is relieved to find a small silver ring with a blue, crescent-shaped jewel inlaid
Wait... What's going on here? Well.... If anything too bad happens I'll probably be fine... But....
The young girl looks up to the darkness for a moment, holding tight to her ring before she looks back to Parad.... Not sure who he is, but maybe he can help
You stuck here too? Not sure how I got here, but I do kinda need to get out. Think it has something to do with the games?

Hiiro snaps out of his daze and takes stock of his companions, taking note of Parad, Kotori and the new girl, at least he knew that Parad would be useful
Well then. Onto the next game correct? Who shall join me?
Parad distractedly acknowledges his current companions.
"Well, duh. How they got their hands on these originals, I'll have to find out some other time. Hmm, I prefer action games to sport games..."
Parad begins to examine the Space Invader cabinet.
"More strategy than action though... This is so cool! You think this is supposed to be co-op!? You! Get over here!"
Parad motions for Sayaka to accompany him.
Sayaka seems surprised for a bit, but soon runs up to join Parad at the cabinet
I haven't really played this sort of thing much, but if you think it'll help...
The young girl strikes a pose, the ring on her left hand pointed up into the darkness

Sayaka flashes Parad a smile and digs through her pockets for a token, she'd get it out, ready to put it into the machine

The word attracts Kotori to the Space Invader cabinet
Like fighting and stuff?
Parad makes an impatient noise.
"Tch. No of course it's not fighting, it's Space Invaders. You'll be better off for skiing."
Parad puts his token into the Space Invaders, motioning for Sayaka to do the same. He taps his foot impatiently.
"Just try and copy what I do, I'm PRETTY good at games."
A distorted voice comes to life as the group rises from their slumber.
"I was wondering when that drug would wear off. Was almost worried you had all slipped into a coma, that'd be boring though."
The cabinets are still lit up brilliantly, however the screens remain dark.
"Well once you all get acquainted, please feel free to sit back, relax, and enjoy the games. They are the only means of Salvation after all."
The voice would then fade into silence.
Sayaka blushes a little as she salutes Parad

Following Parad's lead, Sayaka rushes to insert her token into the machine. She misses it the first two times in her haste, but after finally succeeding she stands by the controls, keeping one eye on Parad
Dr.Pac-Man... You shall be defeated. I won't let you get away with this.
Hiiro seeing the crowd Parad has gained opts for the skiing game, looking into his pockets to find one of the 4 tokens left and slotting it in, bringing his hands up in front of his face as he clears his mind

Kotori moves to the Skiing game
The heck is this thing?
Hiiro mutters to the girl as he keeps his eyes closed, trying to concentrate
Skiing, you ride down a snowy mountain I believe. I've never done it. But it will not stop me.
As the players insert their tokens, the screens light up in a bright flash and display the start menu. Ski Free has a small man skiing behind the text and Space Invaders has a group of jellyfish-like creatures scrolling down behind the text.
Emu would soon awaken late as he enters the main room of the warehouse. He would look around to see all the others he hadn't noticed before.
"Eh? Where did all these people come from? Did I sleep in or something?"
Parad immediately, almost instinctively, presses the start button.
"You see those things, they're the bad guys. It's our job to shoot 'em. Simple, yeah. Just make sure they don't get past us, ok? You're our cleanup crew."
Sayaka nods understandingly and hits her own start button as well
Will do, at least it looks pretty simple, I should be able to help you out. Because that's what I do.
Just in case Sayaka reads over the controls a few more times.... Yeah, good thing Parad seems to know what he's doing

Hiiro then lowers his arms and presses the start button, taking a deep breath and bracing for impact

As the players hit their start buttons, the screens go dark and the whirring gets louder as a small radar dish pops out of each cabinet.
"A reminder. If you die in the game, you will die in real life. No redos, no continues, and no resrarts. Well then, good luck!"
The dishes light up with a blinding light before shooting a beam at the players and unravelling their very being. Ski Free would target Hiiro, Emu and Kotori. While Space Invaders targets Parad, Sayaka, and Taiga. The world would begin to warp and twist as their vision grows dark. And then nothing.

The Ski Free group would awaken on a bed of fresh snow.
Looking around would reveal a few fir trees and a single log cabin, and perhaps most importantly, a steep slope right before them.

A faint roar can be heard from below the group. The source would be a mystery for the time being.

The Space Invaders group would wake up in what appeared to be a desert. Nothing but sand and cacti for as far as the eye could see. A quick search around them would reveal a few asaault rifles, some grenades, and most notably a turret with what appeared to be a rail gun.
Looking to the sky would reveal a disturbing scene, stars would begin blinking and then just, disappear. The blanket of stars seemed to be getting smaller and smaller in the night sky.
Parad immediately bolts to the turret, surveying it with particular detail.
"Some VR games it seems. Awesome! It looks pretty real, someone get the gun! I call dibs on the turret!"
Parad would then plop himself down in the gunner seat.
(Slithers in looking like a snake centipede hybrid) ayyyy
Emu would get up and look around would a excited curiosity.
"Look at all this snow! This must be the inside of the skiing game, right? Well, first things first! Let's look around for anything we could use to clear this game. There must be something. That cabin looks pretty suspicious already."
Emu would walk up to the cabin before attempting to enter it while keep and eye out in the area around it. Last time he found a remotely controlled robot to help him out so maybe he would find something similarly useful to aid with beating this game.
Hiiro gets up in the snow after he gets zapped, trying to ignore the freezing cold as he looks around, noticing the sound he opts to instead head into the cabin, first things first, a surgeon needs his tools
Let us investigate the cabin. There must be something inside.
Sayaka watches Parad, apparently her guide for the moment, she scrambles to attention and runs over to one of the rifles
The instructions really didn't prepare me for something like this. I've never even seen...
When she picks up the rifle she accidentally pulls the trigger, firing off a short burst into the ground, the recoil from which knocks her off balance and back onto the ground
Ahhh.......
Sayaka slowly works to her feet, holding a gun that's apparently a bit too big for her. Careful to avoid the trigger now, she looks back over to Parad
I'm ready now.
A monster!
Kotori races down the mountain, enchanting herself with wind to go down faster

Parad sighs, mildly frustrated.
"Just get on one knee, and lean it into your shoulder, that should stop the recoil for the most part. Be happy I've played some Simulations before."
Sayaka nods, clearly lost at this turn of events and follows Parad's instructions to the letter, getting down on one knee, awkwardly holding the gun so the but of it leans into her shoulder, and scanning the horizon
I bet I look just like one of those action heroes huh? Alright, this looks like a good spot then.... Unless we need to be moving.... Not really sure how this thing works.
The doctors enter the cabin and find it to be relatively cozy. The fireplace is lit and an old man sits quietly in a rocking chair. He turns and faces the pair with glossy eyes and a wide smile. His white beard stroked by frail hands.
"It's been some time since someone climbed the mountain. I take it you're here to traverse the back of the mountain? A riveting time it is, but terribly dangerous at the same time."
Kotori begins speeding down the mountain as a split path appears before her. To the left, a clear opening. To the right, a thick forest.
....graaagh....

The stars continue to disappear in the sky as the group gets their bearings.
"WIB WIB WOOP WOOP!"
From directly above the group, a massive jellyfish-like creature appears above the group and begins descending rapidly. The long tendrils flailing as it approaches, however at the time it is some 100 meters above them.

"Oh? You're awake too? About time. Go on, pick a game. I'll let you aid them if you should choose to."
Haruko would be able to see the screens display the events of Kotori and the Space Invaders group.
He would show a bit of surprise at the old man's presence in general but he figured that all good games have npcs so this wasn't too out of the ordinary. Emu smiles at the old man in his usual bright way.
"Yes, that's right! We were hoping that perhaps you could help us in some way. Perhaps you have some extra equipment or some helpful advice. Either would be of use if you wouldn't mind!"
Pick a game? You serious? Psh, weirdest arcade I've ever been to. You sponsored by that Genm Corp?
*She wanders over and looks at the two games.*
Well I guess if this is some kind of competition I'll take my forte. I've skied every winter at home, I'm sure those skills translate to video games!
Parad begins to prime the rail gun to fire, aligning a shot with the monster.
"Try taking some potshots at that thing, I wanna see if those guns are any use!"
Parad seems to have a faint inkling of trust in his voice.
Sayaka's eyes go wide at the creature approaching them.... Kinda looks like a witch.... She glances down at the ring on her finger before Parad catches her attention
R.. Right, I'll be right on it.
The gun's a bit heavy for her, but nonetheless she shakily points it up at the creature and fires a burst of bullets at it, she manages to remain on her knees, but can still feel the recoil in her shoulder
It looks a lot easier in the movies
Hiiro keeps his cold demeanor up but raises an eyebrow when the man mentions danger, keeping quiet until Emu is finished speaking
Danger? What could be so dangerous about skiiing? Unless that roar was something else...
Taiga looks up to the sky with a sigh, he'd already gathered up a couple grenades and picked up a rifle earlier but... Geez, he doesn't recall these from the game.
"Oy Parad! That oversized cannon you're using got a charge time on it or something? If so I guess that Miki and I are gonna have to play distraction... Miki, make sure ya don't try to move and shoot got that? If you're actually good it ain't impossible, but guessing from the grip, I'd say you've never used a gun before."
The man nods at his ally before quickly taking aim, at this point Taiga would slowly back away while firing off shots towards the main body with pinpoint accuracy. He's curious about the tendrils, but moving targets are annoying at best without an absurd number of bullets.

Kotori looks at the two directions, conflicted, then begins walking into the clearing, looking around cautiously
Sayaka takes a moment to nod at Snipe and speaks between bursts

Sayaka grins and takes another moment to glance at her ring before she continues firing
Don't worry about me too much, I might be young but I can handle myself pretty well.
The man looks her over for a moment... Tch, that ring some kinda Rider trick? Seems unlike, but who knows? He'd cease his own shots now and then to respond.
"That so eh? Well if you say so Miki, but try to keep in mind... These things probably run out of ammo at some point, unless you're a Kamen Rider or something, guns don't have bottomless clips."
The man focuses in on their foe a bit more, lack of fancy tech aside, maybe he can figure out a weakness by observing it?
Apollo grasps head as he picks himself up in the room, dusting off himself before looking around.
Ugh, my head... Where..?
Checking his pockets, Apollo can't find any of his belongings. In his shirt pocket, in place of his Attorney's Badge, he finds the 5 tokens.
My badge! B-but what am I supposed to present as evidence if not that..?
But, tokens... is this some sort of joke?
The man nods at the doctors' words.
"Indeed. I do have gear and advice."
He reaches for a cane beside him and props himself up before approaching the men.
"The roar you heard was the Yeti. I've tried to hunt the beast many times before, but to no avail."
He motions for the doctors to follow him to a large cabinet.
"The only advice I can offer is to never slow down and to never hold back. The easiest path isn't always as it seems."
He then throws open the cabinet and reveals a set of skiis and a two seater GT Racer.
"Now then, do have fun and please stay safe."
The man moves back to his chair and sits down.
"...gragh?"
Kotori would find the clearing surrounded by trees and she'd hear the sound a lot more clearer this time. Ahead of her is a straightaway for some twenty-five meters.

The creature's underside begins to shine a bright red as the bullets hit their mark. It lets out a cry of pain as it reaches the fifty meter mark. It then extends the tendrils to point at the group before firing a volley of laser blasts at them.
The railgun begins to charge as two more creatures appear from behind the first. They are 250 meters away.

Haruko has five buttons at her disposal and no joystick.
The buttons are: white, blue, purple, black, and red.
"Go on. Have fun...."
"You too. You just woke up, but go play a game. Space Invaders is free at the moment. Perhaps you can aid the others?"

Parad stays inside the turret, hoping it'd block the blast. He yells to his allies.
"Spread out! Give them more targets! Try and draw the aggro!"
*Has.... zero idea what the various buttons do, but out of curiosity decides to hit the white one first.*
Way to not really give any instructions.
Emu looks over all the equipment unsure of which to go with. In the end he would take the GT Racer. It seemed like a good choice considering the situation.
"Alright! Hopefully this will be enough to help us win this game!"
He would take the skii-sled outside as he prepares to use it to descend the slope.
"If you want to come with me you can, Hiiro. Two people are more effective than one but I also know how you tend to do things on your own and I won't stop you if that's your choice."

Kotori panics, hearing the sound closer to her
I-I.... Uhh..... A-am I being chased? I-I think I scewed up!
Panicking due to being alone, and supposedly stalked by the monster, Kotori rushes as fast as she can to the right, hoping to reach the wooded area and jump to the top of a tree
Taiga stops firing in an instant and rolls closer to the thing, a few of the blasts simply flying past him. Sadly, moving at human speeds he's not able to evade it all and winces as one slams into his left shoulder.
"Oy Miki, don't mess around with the ones that are far out yet, too far for a good shot with guns like these, even more so for a novice. Kill this one before moving to the next, basic tactics!"
At that Taiga points his gun at its underside once more, this time blasting away full auto now that its closed in on them, can't afford to waste time after all. At Parad's shout, however, he'd begin rushing forward a bit more, aiming to move up the line away from Miki before continuing to try and end this target.
It would be stupid of me not to join you Emu. However should the time come we need to split up, I shall take off on the skis, besides. That girl from earlier probably needs your assistance as well.
Hiiro then walks over and takes the skiis, attaching them onto his feet as he hops onto the racer next to Emu, ready to roll
W-was that on an intercom, or...
Apollo looks around the room for the source of the voice, before putting his left hand on his chin and answering the voice.
Space Invaders? You mean that old arcade game? Why would anyone need help with that? And... others? You mean there's more than 1 person playing it? How?
Apollo instictively taps the bracelet on his left arm with the tips of his fingers on his right hand.

Sayaka scrambles to avoid the worst of the lasers, dropping her gun in the process. She still gets scraped by a few of them, leaving her with minor burns, but no serious injuries. Sayaka holds one of her burns for a moment before shaking her head and standing back up
I don't know what you mean by Kamen Rider, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to show you.
Sayaka takes off her ring as it morphs into a small, egg-like gem with a decorative crescent moon on top. The main body of the egg is blue, though there's a hint of blackness in it
You see, things like magic do exist, though I guess if this stuff is normal for you that might not be a shock.
The gem begins to glow as Sayaka focuses on it.... CUE TRANFORMATION SEQUENCE
A brilliant flash of blue light covers the area around Sayaka as the jewel begins to float. She holds out her arms and legs while faint circles of music notes can be seen against the light. A similar blue light covers her body, when the light clears, her uniform is replaced by her magical girl outfit (pic updated accordingly) as she snaps back to normal

"Alright! Let's do this with super co-op play!"
With that Emu would kick off down the hill with the racer and Hiiro in tow. Hopefully, his experience in racing games would come in handy for maneuvering the hill but he understood that although this might be some virtual game the danger was still very real. He would need to be extra cautious of everything going on around him as he began the descent.
Taiga stares at her for a moment... Magic eh? Well, this is new, but no weirder than those Personas and Demons people seem to toss around in this place.
"Never seen that before, but yeah I've delt with some pretty weird crap... As for what Kamen Riders are, Parad and I would show ya, but our wonderful host took our Drivers, can't transform into anything without those!"
The pair begin their descent and are met with the same fork in the path. Left to the clearing and right to the forest.
Kotori climbs the tree as a large white figure appears to come out of the ground at the same time Haruko hits her button. As it shakes off the excess powder, it is revealed to be large and grotesque snowman. The beady black eyes notice Kotori in the tree and it begins lobbing snowballs at her with tremendous force.
"......grah...."
The sound of the previous beast seems to quiet down and get further away.

The first creature is destroyed by the focused fire on its underside. The turret does indeed protect Parad and is fully charged.
The two descending creatures would turn their focus to Sayaka as she transforms. The pair point all their tendrils at her for one large and focused laser beam. They are about 100 meters away. Then behind the incoming pair is one massive jellyfish-like creature, 300 meters out.

The voice urges for Apollo to press one of his buttons on the Space Invaders cabinet. All of his buttons are the same as Haruko's.

Seeing the snowballs thrown, Kotori leaps to another treetop, and keeps jumping from treetop to treetop to evade, expending a wind charge each time
If the GM doesn't mind, could they tell me how many times she jumps per round?
Hiiro looks around at the two pathaways and tries to find any details that might prove useful, however with the absence of information he frowns
Well then I suppose we should head left. We don't have any info saying otherwise. Unless you want to go right, let us proceed.
Parad takes aim at the massive jellyfish, awaiting a clear shot, should he have it, he'd take it.
"Prepare to eat a high speed metal rod, nerd!"

Apollo inspects the buttons, before pressing the red one. It's his favorite color, so why wouldn't he give it the first push?
So, what's the point of all this anyways? Is it just some twisted game you enjoy putting others through?

"Tch, what a pain... We've gotta take these dammed things down before the big one gets close. Hope you have some neat trick or something Miki! And this time split up targets, too many for focus fire to be effective unless we want to get shredded!"
With that Taiga himself begins reloading his gun and darting forward, he'd move about 25 meters closer to one of the jellyfish before stopping and pointing his now loaded weapon at the thing. Rather than firing slowly and carefully, he'd unload the entire clip into it as fast as he possibly can.
"Alright, left it is!"
With that Emu would try to direct the racer to the left in accordance ti Hiiro's advice. He was slightly anxious at the mystery of what they would encounter but he was sure that no matter what they'd be able to beat this twisted game.
Sayaka grins as she turns to face her new opponents, she immediately leaps to the side of the laser, conjuring a circle of notes just below her to step off and leap up and over the laser attack. Or rather, mostly over, she shakes her head as one of her feet is caught by the laser's edge, will have to heal that later. She turns to Taiga and nods
I'm on it, don't you worry.
Next she would conjure a similar circle and leap off it, sword drawn, and attempt to ascend towards the creature Taiga's not aiming for, not at all thinking about the fact she'd likely get into the line of fire
Ha, not so easy when we're fighting on my terms, is it?
The pair on the sled go to the left just in time to notice Kotori jumping away from the snowman's attacks. Suddenly, as the red button is pressed, the sled begins to glow with the same light as the doctors' finishers. By now Kotori had jumped ten times.
"Blast! There's more of you?!"
The snowman turns around to see the pair charging down the mountain. The snowman would then chuck a large snow boulder at Hiiro and Emu.

Sayaka's sword would begin to glow with a mysterious red light as Apollo hits his button. However, the creature she was targeting would begin firing small blasts at her in an attempt to deter her.
The creature that Taiga was after would have its tendrils obliterated by the spray of bullets, effectively incapacitating it as it lands on the ground.
The giant jellyfish-like creature still looms soom 150 meters in the sky, but Parad has the rail gun trained on it as he further charges up.

The distorted voice laughs.
"And I also have a profession, nerd. I play games for a living! Or I live to play games? Whatever keeps me entertained better, I guess."

Sayaka looks at her glowing sword, completely distracted for the moment
Huh, that's new... How did I?
A few of the smaller blasts strike Sayaka, she winces, but it doesn't seem to hurt as much as the visible burns probably should. She conjures another circle beneath her to charge the creature, attempting to bring her sword up to bisect it. Its taking some time, but the burns seem to be slowly healing even without the aid of her circles

Ah! Others!
Kotori waits for the right moment, then attempts to leap from the tree to the boulder, then kick off the boulder and land behind of one of the sleds using an ice enchantment to turn the snow under her feet into a snowboard and pushing herself with them using the wind, if she fails to land on the boulder, then she'll land in the snow and iceboard from there
*Hiiro accesses the situation and notices the strange glow, getting ready to jump off as he yells out
Emu! Smash right through the boulder and into the snow man! Girl! Jump onto Emu's racer! I shall go on foot!
*Hiiro then jumps off and uses his skis to keep moving, dodging the boulder and continuing to move down the moutain somewhat clumsily, noticing that Kotori didnt go onto the racer he shrugs

Apollo does a little fist pump at his successful button pushing. He then tried to talk towards the voice the best he can.
You live to... play video games? I can't imagine you'd be able to make a living of that... Do you enter tournaments with cash prizes or something?
Returning his attention to the game, Apollo presses the blue button next.
"Alright! Here it goes!"
Emu would keep the sled on course as he attempt to drive it straight into the boulder. The light around the sled would allow it to increase in power enough to break straight through the boulder like Hiiro suggested.
[Sliding Critical Finish!]
As Sayaka deals with the other foe, he'd pull out a grenade from his coat and begin running towards her... He can't get those things up high enough to hit the ship, but it sure as hell seems like she could.
"Oi Miki! Take this thing and get it onto the mothership got that? I can't move it that far. Oh and make sure to pull the pin before you toss it, you might know already but... Best to be sure anyways right?"
With that he'd hold his hand out, offering her the weapon from his hand and glaring towards the mothership. After she'd taken it, he'd then quickly reload his weapon and prepare to begin firing.
Kotori manages to jump off the boulder, however it isn't enough to knock it back but Emu sees to that. The doctor would use his glowing sled to slam right through the boulder and then through the giant snowman. His head goes flying as the trio makes their way down the mountain.
"So this is how I get iced? Bwahah-"
The voice stops abruptly as it collides with the ground.
Now free from their adversary, the group is met with another fork. A bumpy mogul path to the left and a clear opening to the right.

Sayaka makes quick work of the creature using her now powered up sword. The creature would explode like the first.
Upon the activation of the blue button, the previously incapacitated creature begins to glow blue and spin in place before quickly charging at Taiga with a tackle.
The largest jellyfish-like creature finally reaches the 75 meter mark as Parad homes in and charges further.

The voice pauses as Apollo speaks.

With her creature dealt with, Sayaka would look down to find another charging her ally Taiga, who's arm is outstreched. She conjures up a quick circle above her and turns in the air to push off it with her legs, hoping to intercept the creature in mid-air and slice through it as well. She looks over at Taiga with a smile
All I have to is get up there with that little thing and pull the trigger? I think I can do that much pretty easily. might be faster if you tossed it though, I can catch
As the thing charges at him, he'd simply toss the damm grenade as Miki requested. From there Taiga rushes into motion, holding his gun up to block the charge of his foe,
in spite of that, however, the thing sends him flying back a few feet and causes him to tumble to the ground. From there, he'd begin blasting away at it again with a few quick bursts at the center.
"Alright then, just be sure you aren't too close when it goes off, grenades aren't exactly safe close range weapons after all!"
I'm not entirely sure what the enjoyment of a death game implies, but I have a feeling it might be psychopathy...
Apollo grits his teeth, his choice in buttons causing more issues for the players of the game. He chooses his button carefully this time, white.
Hiiro looks down towards the paths and makes a split second decision, opting to go down to the left as he shouts behind him
In going down the left! I would advise going the other way with the racer! I doubt it would work well in the bumps! I shall meet with you later! Girl! You can choose whichever way suits you the best.
Hiiro then puts his weight forward in attempt to speed down the lane faster, bracing for the moguls as he inevitably flys into the air
G-Gotcha!
Kotori heads down the left path, Using the wind to jump off of each Mogul and stay in the air a little longer than usual, hoping to make her path as straight as possible
Once again, would appreciate a number for how many jumps she makes from the GM please
Emu would give Hiiro a thumbs up as he steers towards the right opening.
"Alright, I'll meet you on the other side, Hiiro! That's a promise! Got it?"
Emu knew that Hiiro would be fine on that path. He was the greatest surgeon in the world and there was nothing Hiiro couldn't cut through. As for Emu he would attempt to make it into the opening. Before he reached it though he would shout back at Kotori.
"I'm going this way. You can go whatever way you want just make sure not to get separated from the group. There's strength in numbers and I know Hiiro can handle himself and I'm not actually alone but I'd hate for you to end up in a bad situation!"

Kotori and Hiiro head down the mogul ridden route with little to no issue. Kotori once again traverses using her magics about five times. They then get to another split in the same place the clear path would exit.
Emu taking the clear path had nothing to worry about, until Apollo pressed his button. From behind Emu there was a large noise, like an explosion. Moments would pass and a violent avalanche would begin barreling down towards him and by extension, the others.

Sayaka's blade begins to lose its glow as she strikes at the spinning target. This causes the creature to reel and slowly rev up once more. However, Taiga's shots are enough to finally stop the beast for good. Now leaving the massive one right above them at about 30 meters.
The creature would let out a sharp metallic cry before wildly swining around its eight tendrils. From the end of each tendril comes a continuous laser beam.
The railgun begins pulsing with energy in the same way one of Parad's finishers would look.

"Hey it's not my fault I got bored. Nothing psychotic about this. You're reading too deeply into this, nerd."
Sayaka nods to Taiga and catches the grenade and leaps back towards the creature, she begins conjuring circles left and right to push off of in an attempt to avoid all of its beams. Whenever she makes it a fair distance away she would pull the pin on the grenade and toss it straight at the massive beast
See, its not so hard after all.
Regardless of the level of success, Sayaka would turn away from the creature in order to grin widely at her compatriots... And promptly get struck by a laser for it.... That's gonna leave a mark

Hiiro takes a look behind him and notices the avalanche, taking a deep breath he continues down the left, trying to keep away from the impending doom
We must keep going. Don't slow down now!
Taiga smirks as the beams begin blasting around the area, rather than trying to return fire, however, he simply begins darting about himself and evading the fire fairly easily once he's focused on defense. After all... He can't recover from this crap quite as quickly as Miss Magical Girl over there, nor does he have a nice distraction to keep him safe like Parad. Upon seeing the girl be blasted, however, he'd sigh and shake his head... Kid needs to learn how to focus in a mission.
"Oi be more careful, that wasn't a bad throw or anything but getting hit like that was foolish. I don't know how your power works, but I'm pretty sure you can't keep healing this crap forever, right Miki?"
"Huh? What's that noise?"
While riding the sled Emu would look back behind him to notice...an avalanche?!?
"N-nani?!? Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! Go faster sled! Faster!"
Emu would attempt to shift all his weight on the sled in order to move faster. He wasn't sure if he could get away from the avalanche but he certainly didn't want to lose now.
AAH!
Now what!
Kotori follows Hiiro this time, continuing to use the wind to push her along, however, she seems to be slowing down, and her balance looks to be getting tired
A-an avalanche!? Shoot, I need to fix this quick!
With no other options left, Apollo slams down on both the purple and black buttons, hoping one of them will assist the players.
With the avalanche driving the trio together down the home stretch, they can all see a large creature. It stands at an astonishing ten feet tall with long arms and legs. It stands menacingly as it lets out a mighty roar.
"GRAAAAAAARGH!"
The group has the avalanche nipping at their heels and a hungry beast in front of them. However, Apollo comes to their rescue as a purple light surrounds Kotori and restores her mana. The black button causes the group to begin glowing with vibrant lights.
"GRUH OH..."

Sayaka's grenade explodes right below the creature which causes the tendrils to go limp. A small red dot appears in the center of its underside after the explosion.
Parad smirks as he slams his fist down on the fire button.
[RAILGUN CRITICAL FIRE!]
The railgun begins to spark wifh vibrant colors before firing off a massive metal rod at blinding speed. It pierces the beast right through the red mark on its underside. Then it lets out a final shriek before exploding into a shower of red shards.
GAME CLEAR!
Large words appear in the sky as a figure in a suit approaches the group from behind. Tipping them off with a clap as he approaches.
"Good work, soldiers! You held the enemy off and dealt a heavy blow to their forces. Your country salutes you!"
He gives them a meaningful nod and a salute.

Hiiro then focuses on moving quickly, trying to zig zag across the field to avoid the Yeti, while trying to keep away from the avalanche,
hoping that the strange glowing helps him out a bit

Using the replenished Mana, she makes a massive boost to the beast and summons a hammer from inside her, as she reaches the beast, Kotori swings her hammer at the beasts legs at high speeds
Sayaka falls to the ground, motionless for a minute while she starts to heal... After a moment, she'd stand back up as blue circles of musical notes appear beneath her, speeding the healing process significantly

She seems pretty tired as she turns back to Taiga, reasonably considering the kind of stuff she just did.
Well, us magical girls only have so much magic. Not sure what happens when you run out, I assumed you just turn back to normal, which in a fight is gonna get you hurt pretty badly.
Her magical girl outfit disappears from around her, leaving Sayaka in her ordinary schoolgirl outfit, weapon gone. The jewel reappears in her hand, this time the blackness is almost as common as the blue
I should probably be more careful from now on. I can replenish it with these things called Grief Seeds, but whoever brought us here took the only one I had. So I won't be able to do as much soon.
Emu would recognize this light as his usual power. He would look at the beast with a smirk as he prepares to attack.
"Alright! Yeti, I will change your fate with my own hands!"
With that Emu would speed the sled up further as he approached the Yeti but rather than simply ramming into it he would jump of the sleigh allowing it to slide right under the Yeti's legs hopefully.
He would instead jump up and using his feet he would attempt to bounce of the Yeti's head before pushing it into the coming avalanche while he lands on his sleigh to continue on.

Apollo sighs in relief in the effects of the buttons. He then relaxes a little, now simply watching the game play out.
Taiga looks at her with a... Well, he actually looks pretty worried, "she thinks"? Speaking as a doctor, he's not exactly assured with such unsure and vague words regarding someone's health. And if she can't get anymore... They may be finding out what happens when she's out soon enough.
"I see then, in that case I think it'd be best not to use anymore until we can get one of these grief seeds, I'd rather not put this theory to the test Miki. And besides, better to just be careful and not waste your power than risking not having any when you really need it, right?"
Sayaka's gem turns back into a ring for her to slip on her finger before she gives Taiga a thumbs up
I'm sure Mami-Senpai would have warned me if anything too bad would happen. Of course, I'll try letting you old guys handle the next stuff a bit more, but if you need much help know you can count on me.

Besides, if I don't end up getting that one back all I have to do is go find another Witch, once I take care of one of those I'll get a grief seed to replace the one I lost. Because fighting witches and saving people, that's what Magical Girls do.
Taiga shrugs before nodding at the girl, not like he'll get anything better from her... And she might have, but who knows what this Mami girl was aware of anyways?
"Alright, don't think that we're helpless or anything though yeah? I may not have my powers right now, but I'm still a crack shot, and pretty decent in a fist fight."
He'd then examine the ring curiously, that black... Looks unnatural for some reason, almost as though it just shouldn't be part of the gem.
"And if these Witches are monsters... Count me in for helping take em down got that? It's a Kamen Rider's job to keep people safe too after all, I'm no hero or anything, but I'll lend a hand where I can anyways."
At that, he casually tosses his hands into his lab coat pockets and begins looking around the room, perhaps he can find out which games they'll have to face next?
Sayaka puts both arms behind her head and looks around. Feels a bit weird talking so openly about this stuff, especially with an adult, but it’s not like there’s any secret to be kept here
Thing is usually only a Magical Girl can find these witches, so even if you were around I dunno if you’d be able to see it. Besides, I’m sure you’ve got your own problems.
Sayaka hits her chest lightly and grins widely at the doctor
As you can see, I’m doing pretty well for like, my second day. You don’t need to worry about a thing.
Hiiro skirts around the yeti with ease as he comes up to a finish line and is slowed to a halt.
Kotori smashes the Yeti's legs before sliding down the rest of the way and catching up to Hiiro.
Emu makes the most of the power to launch his finisher. The sled slams into the Yeti's legs which causes him to get launched up slightly and fall forward. Emu would then use the jump off of his bike to land on the Yeti's head and leap off, causing the Yeti to get annihilated by the avalanche. He then hops back on his sled and crosses the finish line too.
GAME CLEAR!
The words appear in the sky and the players are quickly pulled back to reality before they would get hit by the avalanche.

"You would be shocked at what a guy like me can spot, Miki... We Kamen Riders aren't quite the same as normal people. Well, you'll understand once one of us gets hands on a Driver and Gashat. And yeah I got problems, but lately, I haven't done a lotta Rider work, so I got nothing better ta do than helping out now and then."
At that, Taiga yawns to himself before ceasing his search for the next game... He'd instead look around for somewhere to sleep, and wave at the girl before laying down for the night.
"Anyways, I'm pretty worn out from all that so I'll talk with you more later on, for now though... Well, it's been alright working with ya."
Finally, the Kamen Rider is out... Clearly all that running and such is harder without his suit helping out.
"Didn't I already tell you, doctor Pac-Man? I'm the best gamer there is. There's no way I'd lose here."
Emu would point upward towards wherever he believes the voice was coming from. He was sure there wasn't anything he couldn't conquer in this place as genius gamer M.
Sayaka yawns and decides to follow Taiga’s lead. Whatever these Kamen Rider guys do they’re pretty nice. She finds a somewhat safe spot a bit away from him to lay down and sleep herself, keeping a tight grip on her ring just in case.
YEAH! TAKE THAT YOU-.............
Kotori hits the ground, confused, she reaches out inside herself, and finds her Mana levels incredibly low, thinking back, she realizes that the sudden refill of mana must have been something that only took effect in the game, and now that she's out, her mana normalized to its real amount.
Realizing this, she decides to conserve her energy and find a place to sleep......
That GYM place was nice.......
"It looks like your allies are running out of steam, Emu. Are you sure you'll all be able to clear my games? I do wonder about that. But that's fine for today. Go save your game."
The voice begins to fade.
"The next games will be legendary."
Then silence.
OOC: I think it's about time we hit Resume on this one.
Parad surveys his surroundings once more, frowning a little.
"Man, that last game was NO fun. I just sat around waiting for that stupid gun to charge up. Maybe these next games won't be so lame."
Lame? You honesty think a life or death situation is lame?
Parad shrugs indignantly.
"A life or death situation isn't lame, but there wasn't any chance for us to die there! Come on, where's the challenge! That stupid gun was just a giant shield that took too long to be any fun! My teammates got more fun than I did, and they had puny rifles! Of COURSE I think it'd be lame. Who the hell wouldn't!?"
Sayaka wakes up after quite a pleasant nap and yawns loudly as she stretches. She rubs her eyes for a moment, before realizing where she is

A girl in a casual dress is lying flat on the floor. In spite of this, she seems pretty calm.

"Wow. For a doctor, I know nothing about dosages. Well it would be boring if everything was by the book. Welcome to the Game, Senri."
The voice coughs as he turns his next words onto Sayaka.
"I will have you know that I am not creepy and this is not a basement. But you make a fair point...next game!"
With a snap, the lights go out. Mechanical whirring can be heard with heavy clangs and thuds before the room finally goes quiet. The lights flash on once more and where there were two cabinets just moments prior, is now a single, double wide, cabinet sporting a sleek coat of paint. The left side of the cabinet sported a purple color scheme, whereas the right sported a green one.
(He wakes up, and notices all the things) what....what...what then hell is going on
Parad jumps toward the purple side of the cabinet.
"Awesome, I know this game! It's Detective Double! Dibs on purple!"
Parad places his token down on the purple side, reserving his spot.
Sayaka chuckles at the voice’s apparent annoyance before she starts walking towards the green half of the cabinet

Senri rushes up to the opposite end of the cabinet from Parad. She didn't know if Sayaka was even a gamer, but she was confident in her own skills; if only still a little doped up.

Parad inserts one of his precious tokens into the purple side, awaiting others to do the same.

The voice sighs and grows quiet for a moment.
"Right. The game. This cabinet is special, this is a Legend Game. And let's say it was crafted meticulously for a certain other project, but that isn't important. Back to the game, this is Detective Double! A co-op, mystery, puzzle, fighting game. The goal is simple, you'll each be cast in a role. You fulfill that role and help each other find the culprit before finally facing off."
The screen comes to life in a flash. The scene displayed is a simple detective office that houses a desk topped with a typewriter. Wind blows through the office as the blinds sway softly behind the desk. A large start button rests in the middle of the screen.
"The roles are as follow: Shotaro, Philip, Terui. The first is a hard-boiled detective wannabe with a good heart. The second is a mysterious man with access to all knowledge on the Earth. And lastly, the hot-blooded police superintendent for the Paranormal Crime Investigation Division."
The voice takes a quick breather.
"The goal is to find keywords and bring them to Philip. Those keywords unlock the boss and then you're home free. Any questions?"
Parad raises his hand, grimacing impatiently.
"Yeah, I got a question! When are we gonna start this game? I don't have time for you to give these morons a tutorial, just get me into the action!"
Parad mashes the start button vehemently, but not hard enough to do any damage.

As the pair insert their coins and Parad presses the start button with vigor, the same device from before pops out.of the top of the cabinet. It looks like a simple radar dish, but the way it whirs is anything but normal.
"Had to wait for you to push start, dweeb. Anyways, enjoy! And if you find the true ending, then I'll give you Double points! Hah!"
The group, ready or not, is then targeted by the small device. A beam of light extends from it and begins unraveling the very fabric of their beings. Their bodies can be felt growing lighter and lighter until nothing remains but void.
"I'm running out of time dammit! I need to find a solution and fast."
The voice spoke to an empty room before fading to silence.

Inside the never-ending darkness, the players can see words appear before them in the void. However, it was only a fleeting moment as the scene begins to build itself before their very eyes. The same quaint looking office is all they see before them, however the moment they look at themselves...

Those four players could be seen wearing outfits that their counterparts would normally wear. The rest of the players however were just wearing their plain clothes. The most striking item in the scene however, is a single envelope on the main desk.

Parad laughs to himself with glee.
"A mystery envelope, hmm? How hard-boiled."
"Shotaro" would then open the envelope, peering inside to investigate the contents. Once he'd fished whatever was inside out, he'd pull his trilby down to cover his eyes.

Emu would look around the room with curiosity as he examines the different furniture within. He seems almost star eyed at the idea of a detective's office.
"Woah, this is pretty cool. It's like we're in a detective game! Parad, that outfit you're wearing is pretty cool, too!"

One word in and it seems to be a big deal.
It has come to my attention that there have been several cases of strange occurrences around Fuuto. Here are some of the more notable locations: Fuuto tower, Wind Wave station, and Sonozaki Manor. I can assume you'll handle this case promptly. Enclosed is a suitable sum for you boys, stay safe.
The letter ends with a signature that reads, "Shroud".
Eito's search through a nearby cabinet reveals several coffee cups and a couple kettles for tea.
With a sigh, a voice speaks into Sayaka's mind.
"You just need to...well...put your arms out away from your sides and have your palms turned up. From there just close your eyes, look up, and think. Even a ditz like you could do it, right?"
Further weirded out by the cups and kettles,Eito stops panicking for a couple moments to think on his situation.
"Okay,so I got teleported here alongside all alongside all these ther people-Waitaminutethereareotherpeoplehere."
Walking over to the rest of the group,he scratches the back of his head.
"Um,hello."

"Alright, we got a case. Of course it'd be from Shroud, mou. Terui, we've got some points of interest we need to hit. Fuuto Tower, Wind Wave Station, and of course it's a source of strange happenings, the Sonozaki Family Manor. I'll investigate the Tower, you take the Station, yeah? Phillip, be ready to do a lookup at a moment's notice alright? Let's go!"
With that "Shotaro" would walk out of the agency, searching for his motorcycle to take him to Fuuto tower.
Geeze, he's really taking charge, huh? So I guess the rest of us should take the manor, huh?
Wind Wave Station it is. I trust that we will all meet back at this location to confirm our findings. Check everything that can be checked, and measure every possibility.

"Shotaro" finds his Hardboilder outside and makes his trip out to Futo Tower. What should normally be a large tower with a functioning wind turbine on the front was now a horrifying mess. The tower looked like someone scrambled the parts and put them back together like some nasty amalgamation. It was almost unsettling seeing the tower this twisted and contorted. Like the world's nastiest prank.

Senri would find herself in front of the station, or at least where the station should be. For some odd reason, where there should be a building, there's nothing.

For those who went to check out the manor, it has seen better days. Large ruts are made in the courtyard and the manor itself is heavily damaged. There are bits of debris all over the property and even some as far away as a hundred meters. The once sturdy gate that guarded the manor was now torn off its hinges and lays on the ground in the center of the courtyard.

The voice speaks to Sayaka again as she finds no answers coming to her.
"Alright kiddo, what was the plan there? You did a great lookup, but spoiled it by using keywords that hold no meaning here. So I didn't make you look like an idiot, this time."

Hmm...
Senri opens up a notepad on her phone and makes a note.
"Arrived at Station. The area is barren. Must further investigate."
She looked around to take note of anything strange. More specifically, the ground. She poked at it with her shoe soles to see if anything felt different in the ground, and push dirt aside if there is any.
Eito walks over to Sayaka,looking around for the voice.
"Uh,hi..."
He sighs.
"Don't mean to be a bother but could you give me some quick info on where the fuck we are?"
Sayaka sighs and breaks out of her pose, tapping a foot impatiently as she answers the voice
I was TRYING to learn much of anything about that deceitful little... *sigh* anyways, don’t worry about it, guess the game doesn’t know about her.
Sayaka turns back to Eito, annoyance clear in her eyes as she gestures towards the door
You and the others are supposed to go to the manner to find some keywords for me to look up and win this game. In the meantime, I’ll just remain here. I’ve got some important stuff to do while I wait

"Shotaro"'s face gets scrunched up into a pained grimace.
"Whoever made this city cry, they'll pay. I'll be sure they get what's coming to them."
Parad briefly remembers something about this game, and checks inside his pocket for something small, and similar in feeling to plastic. He also searches for something bulky.
"Gotta have the standard equipment right?"
Hmm.... so much for a great fancy manor.
*She steps carefully over the gate and heads for the manor's front door.*
Let's see if there's a clue inside.
His eyes narrowing at the words 'Deicitful little...'.
"Um,okay..."
He walks outside and looks at his phone to search up the location of this manor.Should he find it,he'd start sprinting over.

Senri would probably be startled as she ends up stubbing her toe as she goes to prod the ground where the building should be. As she makes contact, a large wave ot static rises through the area and the building appears momentarily. In the moments she can see it, the building begins to vibrate violently and begins changing colors at an alarming rate. Something about this was very wrong.

A light envelopes Sayaka as she reaches into the Earth's knowledge once more. However, this time she succeeds. In her hand is now a blank book to onlookers, but to her it is a trove of knowledge for the magical girl genre. Oddly enough there isn't anything related to Homura or the like.

Eito catches up to Haruko just in time to enter the building with her. Inside they don't find amy signs of life,
but just the carnage of what seemed to be a wind storm.
The windows were blown out and glass was strewn across the main hall of the manor. Everything seemed to be out of its usual position thanks to whatever force caused this.
Eito turns to face Haruko.
"Uh...Hi,I guess we're working together for this one."
He walks further in,looking at all the glass and hoping to find anything that could give them a clue on what happened.
Parad surveys his new gadgets, checking for a specific color. Mainly being black, blue, and silver.
Though if he found a camera, he wouldn't hesitate to insert a specific blue USB into it.
"Come on, come on, come on! It'd make doing this so much easier. Gimme the Joker!"
Er... hey. So... I wonder if the clue is the reason this place is such a mess.
*She looks over all the furniture and glass, walking about the room, trying to figure out where they might once have been and if they were all pushed in a similar direction, out all pushed outward from a central point.*
Senri would not react well to stubbing her toe. She glared at the place where she did, almost kicking it before deciding to refrain. She looks at the static-made building in confusion and surprise.
What the hell kind of cloaking device is this?
She writes in her notepad app:
"Found building. It suddenly appeared out of the ground and started glitching out. Will try to resummon and enter it."
Senri closes it and puts away her phone before prodding her foot in the same place that triggered the event. As soon as it appeared, if it did, she would cautiously try to open the flashing door before it disappeared again.
Sayaka immediately begins reading the book. Naturally it mentions most Magical Girls being fictional, which causes Sayaka to laugh as she skims the pages.
Man, to think so many people watch this stuff and have no idea that it’s real. I mean, sure it’s a bit more dangerous than most of these suggest, but hey, it’s actually pretty cool.......
Sayaka looks around to make sure she’s alone, then looks for a nearby pen and piece of paper to begin writing down attack names
While I’m just standing here waiting anyways, I might be able to take a note or two from this.

Eito pays attention to the glass and notices it has a neat pattern to it, almost as though it were swept around. If he would be so inclined as to check the source of the glass, the windows, he would find that there were chunks of stone near the windows. They were clearly busted from an external force.
Haruko decides to investigate where everything was prior to the events that took place. She'd find several scuff marks leading from the furniture, and all uniform in their movement too. Something pushed them all out of place and all roughly the same direction and distance.

"Shotaro" would find both a cell phone and a camera hidden inside his jacket. He quickly slots the camera with a USB drive before anything else.

Senri triggers the same glitchy effect and makes her way into the building before it fades again. However, inside was much more disorienting than outside. The internal effects didn't use any sort of cloaking, but instead opted for having things shake, twist, float, and change colors.

"Is this fun? Do you enjoy this? What even are you doing right now?"
The voice attempts to complain but knowing people with all of the Earth's knowledge, they are great at ignoring people.
"Hm."
Eito starts looking out of the windows,watching for anything that could throw stones or their source.
As the silver-haired cat person on the floor slowly wakes up, they immediately make note of their current situation. Hard floor on their back? Head fuzzy from something that's definitely not sleepiness? Nothing save for some coins? Yep, this was a kidnapping. Their blue eyes gleam in the dim light as they take in their surroundings. An... arcade place? Stranger still, they weren't bound at all. Didn't even have a shock collar or chains.
Well, one thing's for sure....
This wasn't natural decay. Someone did this for a reason.
*She follows the opposite direction that they were all pushed in with her eyes, trying to spot anything important in that direction.*
"Shotaro" throws the camera up into the air, hoping it'd do what he expected, he stands still and watches it to be sure.
"I'll cover more ground this way..."
Sayaka grins and leans back against the floor. She does not ignore the voice, instead....

Sayaka is in fact having fun doing this over something actually important

Senri writes in the notepad:

She starts investigating the disorienting room. Staring directly at the color changing areas messed with her head, so she mainly focused on the various things that were floating and twisting around. Would there be some kind of
clue in the room or objects themselves?

Eito finds nothing in regards to stones that would've been tossed, it seems that the wind itself was the only culprit.
Haruko doesn't find anything large of note, however, she does spot a fallen picture frame. Upon closer inspection, and behind cracked glass, she can see a happy family in what looks to be an excavation site. The fatherly figure appears to be holding a brush with writing on it, though it's hard to tell what the writing says.

The camera sprouts wings as it is tossed into the air. Hovering in place for a moment, it turns to "Shotaro" anf awaits his commands.

The main room was filled with a receptionist counter and had two doors, one to the left and right of the counter. All of them seemed to be clipping through reality and phasing into the ground and the walls. The disorienting light show would continue as the pens on the counter start floating and twisting before shaking violently and returning to where they started.

A loud distorted voice blares to life as Yuri wakes up.
"Get it? Cause you're a cat. Hah."
The voice coughs sharply before speaking again.
"So nice of you to join us. Would you care to play a game and clear your head? It's the cat's meow, I tell ya! Hahaha!"
The voice laughs to himself before growing silent.
That's two cat puns in the span of less than 30 seconds. Just get to the point.
Needless to say, the nekomata is not amused. They take out one of the tokens and examine it, their blue eyes glowing a little.
But it's not like I have much of a choice. I'd tear you to pieces, but I'd bet one of my tails that you're not even remotely close to me.
"Shotaro" grins at the sight.
"Survey the area, look for anything outstanding, mainly ash or signs of an explosion or something of the like. Also search for suspicious individuals."
At Doctor Pacman's silence Sayaka huffs, before scratching out the first two names

Senri looked between the two doors which were as unique as everything else.
She wrote:

Always go left was Senri's motto in regards to direction. Just like political science.
She approaches the door to the left of the counter, putting her hand on the glitchy doorknob and turning slowly...
Hmm.... an excavation? I wonder if they stumbled onto some kind of thing they shouldn't have.
*She takes a look around, now trying to find if there's some sort of study, or a random out of place relic sitting around. Anything that could be tied to this excavation....*
