Star's Shrine and Forge: Back in business!
*Star, having nothing to do for the day, has opened her weapon and armor improvement store. She's hard at work making parts for something that might be a problem in the near future...scratch that, it's definitely going to be a problem.*
Hmm...okay, next is the left leg bolts, and after that, the arm cannon bolts...but then is the right fist bolts... I'm not goin to be a cheapskate and use nails like last time...
Okay, if these plans are right, the engine will need a pretty hefty amount of money to make. Titanium won't cut it, so I'll have to use stronger stuff, but my budget is pretty limited with how much I'm spending. Damn, being evil is pretty hard. I have to give credit where it's due, the guys that do this every week are pretty impressive. Looks like I'll have to mine the materials myself. The fuel shouldn't be a problem, but I'm going to need a customer or two soon if I'm going to finish this tomorrow...
*Luckily for Star, A "Male" teen had entered the Forge with the hopes of improving his saber and his G22 pistol*
Ah, a customer. What can I do ya for? I'm going to need specific details on what you want and how you want it to be done.
I want an upgrade for my saber and my G22 pistol, I don't really care what you upgrade about the weapons, I just want some stronger weapons
*Thinks "thankful before I came here I did some jobs for some people and got some good cash"*
Okay. Stronger weapons will be... I'd say 5,000 yen. Sound fair?
*Despair checked his how much he has and it was a good thing he did those jobs*

*Despair would soon give Star his saber, his G22 pistol and 5,000 yen to Star*
Okay. One upgrade coming right up!
*Star steps into another room and closes the door. A bunch of random working sounds are heard for thirty seconds before she opens the door and walks into the room with a pair of upgrades weapons.*
Here you go! Don't ask how I do it, just know that your weapons are now stronger than they were before, or you get your money back!
Ok, I won't ask, so what did you upgrade about them
*Weapons upgraded*
I made them stronger, a bit more durable, and the sword can be used to blind people if you shine light on it thanks to some shining I did. Oh, and it's enchanted to only reflect light if you want it to. No one want to accidentally shine sunlight into their eyes.
*Despair would put the saber and the G22 pistol away*

My name is Star, and I'm the goddess of insanity and general chaos. While that does sound evil, I'm not actually all that evil. Infact, I do more good than evil.
... it's my third fucking day here in the nexus and I found out about personas, shadows, getting my weapons upgraded and im meeting a goddess who is the goddess of insanity...
man the three days here have been crazy, hell its crazier here than in my world...
*Mara has found her way into the forge or more so stumbled into the the forge to get a request done she was taken a back at first but was greatly fascinated with her surroundings thinking to herself how amazing this forge maybe this is where she needs to be*

Welcome to the Nexus. It's a crazy place. Hell, I hear it was crazier before I came here. I think the absolutely craziest time was when I made it snow in July. It was the craziest snowball war ever! There were giant robots, aliens, card games, castles, even something about the Nexus power rangers. I don't think that can be topped. Also, what can I do ya for Mara?
*Despair was just dumbfounded*
R-really... Man and here I was thinking keeping my secret of being a girl was going to be hard but guess that really does not matter anymore since this world is crazy and anything can happen... fuck it who cares if people know I'm a girl...

"Wait I feel like I remember you....Ah you! You tried to drink down some random demon booze last time we met what were you thinking you- actually I don't think we ever even introduced ourselves properly, names Mara but it seem you already know that."
*She waves her hands in a greeting gesture on those words but still retains her serious manner so it looks rather awkward*
Well...tell you what, you bring me any metal scrap, and I'll give you cash. I'm working on a project right now, so any materials I can get would be useful. Any ore you find would be useful too. I'm pretty sure I've already introduced myself, but I'll do it again. I'm Star Sakura, the goddess of insanity and general chaos. Yes, I know it sounds evil, but it's not. I'm the owner of this forge.
"Well Star I guess it's nice to meet you then."
*She kept her serious glare on for a moment before shrugging it off and try to form a smile*
"Sorry Sorry i'm getting worked up over things that already happened. What happened has happened I guess."
*She lets out a chuckle and looks around the forge again before retuning to Star's gaze*
"So what do you specialize in goddess if this is your forge?"

*New quest "Get Star any metal scrap and ore"*
*he walks up to Star and waves*
You're the owner of the this weapon foundry?
It's nice to meet you too. It was a long day, and I don't get drunk very often on account of my immortality. I mainly specialize in blessing, enchanting, and generally making things stronger. Of course, I also make original weapons and armor for people at reasonable prices. I am indeed the owner!
*he goes interested to what Star said*
Interesting. Anything to patch up this?
*He shows Star his damaged Scorpion railgun that is sparking*
Hmm...2,500 yen for repairs. I can get it fixed in about thirty seconds.
*he opens his yen bag and hands Star around 3k yen*
I think I have enough... yep that's enough.
"Oh interesting you seem to have a wide range of services well I have two request really though and they may be a little off from what you say you specialize in but.."
*Mara shows here Bamboo staff that she was carrying on her it was quite a long one*
"I was wondering if you could possibly make a Case specifically for this this staff it's a pain to keep carrying around so awkwardly I need to be able to have it like a portable bag I can throw over my shoulders onto my back. Does that sound like something down your ally?"

*Despair happy said as she leaves*
Okay. I'll also give it a boost to it's durability. Can't go getting it fixed after every fight, you know.
*A rush of motion occurs on the railgun for thirty seconds before being fully repaired.*
Heh, didn't expect that to happen, did you? It's a little tricky to repair something so fast, but being a goddess has its perks. As for a case, I can do that. In fact, I think I have a few in stock that would fit it.
*A black case suddenly appears on the counter. It fits the staff perfectly.*
That'll be 1,500 yen. Should be just what you're looking for.
*he gives Star the thumbs up*

I have met them, but it's been a long time since I've seen them. If you're looking for them, I can't tell you where they are.

*He looks around*
Where's the upgrade station? I wanna add a plasma converter on my duel beam pistols.
This entire building is an upgrade station, and I'm the one that makes them. I've got a few of those in stock.
*Suddenly, a pair of plasma converters appears on the counter*
Another 2,500 yen, please.
*he shells out more yen to give to Star*
There you go. I got payed by the kill when I go Shadow extermination mission.
*Despair would soon come back holding a shit ton of metal in his arms*
I got the metal... some robots tried to kill me
*Mara places the Yen on the counter and picks up the casing fiddling with it a bit before placing the staff inside it and swinging it on her shoulder*
"Oh this is perfect can finally carry this will little trouble yes this will do. Now I also have another request that may be a little out there but I have this."
*On cue she pulls out a small rusty metal container with dents and broken glass*
"I was wondering if you could make a replica of this containers metal frame since this thing is so bang up. I wanted to give this to a certain someone otherwise he won't stop pestering me about it hehe. So you think you can make some magic? Oh don't worry about the glass or any other mechanisms I can reinstall all of that back in."
Thank you! And shadow extermination is a pretty good job. Then again, killing just about anything that's a monster pays out pretty nicely. And that is a lot of metal...well then, here's your pay.
*Gives Despair 5,000 yen*
This should just about be enough scrap to cover the normal parts of the project I'm working on. The harder stuff I'm going to go get myself. It isn't a job done right unless you do the hardest work yourself. Now, for the frame, I can just straight up repair it for 500 yen. Alchemy is essential to being a good blacksmith I like to think.
*he chuckles to the good old time*
I remember working for the good old times with my other brothers. Now, Strike Noir's working for Mitsuru's Shadow Ops, Verde's a guardian for a royal family, I'm working with some of the Snow Queen's government pals on shadow hunting. Besides the bounties are quite nice. Low tier is 4k, mid tier is 8k and high tier is 12k yen.
(For some reason, the 7'3 man is there).......sup

Thank you for the offer though but i'll have just the frame fixed and hey maybe you should show me some of that alchemy another time I'm sure you can show me some new stuff."
*She gives a smile as she starts to find some interest in Star compared to how they originally started. This Goddess of insanity seems to be in the same boat as her in some ways and that's fine by Mara*
Wait...Snow Queen? That's me! Ah, I remember the day I became the Snow Queen like it was yesterday. I made it snow in July, and then a bunch of insanity happened. Wait, is it a different Snow Queen, or is someone using my old title, or did I do something with the government in my sleep? As for that ore...
*Star gives Despair an extra 5,000 yen*
Looks like it's good quality stuff. Should be nice to experiment with. Also hey big guy. Now, let's see here...
*Star takes the container and a small chunk of metal and smashes them both with a hammer. Somehow, this fixes the container.*
Now, I'll take that 500 yen repair fee.
Nah... that's a nickname I came up with on Mitsuru, you know with the whole ice and winter magic she does.
*he attaches the new augments on his beam pistols*
Man, this quest is the best... and hey Star want to be umm... friends?
Oh...well, I mean...it fits? Also sure, why not? I've got lots of friends, what's one more?
*Mara gives Star the Yen Fee but also a little extra tip for her service and takes the container in her hand*
"Thanks for that i've been running a little low on resources myself in my own lab so I needed to go out. Thank god though I have a way to resupply just takes way to long. Oh an by the way sorry I kinda snapped at you Star, I was dead set you were not gonna be reliable but turns out it's the opposite for that I thank you for your service with a extra tip."
Trust me, being a goddess has its perks. I may not be the best, but I'm definitely reliable when it comes to doing things. Besides, I wouldn't be a blacksmith if I wasn't at least good at it. Thank you for choosing Shrine and Forge, and remember that if it's not fixed right you get a full refund! Of course, that's not going to happen. I make damn sure of it.
*New friend gain "Star"*
*Despair was happy*
"Heh that sounds like a challenge Miss Goddess and i'm insane enough to try that."
*A sly grin forms on Mara's face as she says this maybe add that challenge to her bucket list but for now she needs to return the container back to her lab and to her 'friend' for now."
"But maybe I can try that for another day I must be going. Again I thank you for your service and i'll happily return again. Bye for now though."
*She waves her hand back at Star and walks out of the forge back to her lab with her new possessions*
Bye Mara! Hmm...now, does anyone want anything else? If not, then I'm going to go work on my project. No spoilers, but it's part of a plan to bring more insanity to the Nexus...and quiet possibly rule over it as the supreme goddess...nah, just joking about that last part! Or am I? Yes, I am. But am I really? Yes.
*Despair takes out a bracelet and give it to Star as a friendship gift and clearly does not care if Star takes over the world or whatever*

I got a contract from the Shadow Ops that a rampant Avenger Knight is off it's reigns. Later nerd.
*he gives Star 20k yen as a gift as he leaves*
A girl in a black uniform enters the armory, carrying a large sack of... Something.
She walks up to the desk and speaks in a quiet tone.
Oi. You accept scraps, right? I got some materials for ya.
Thanks. Hmm...I think I heard something about a tournament going on. If it's ended, then that means I might get some new work soon. Heh, guess setting up today wasn't a bad idea.
*Puts the bracelet on her left arm*
If things go right, I'll have my project finished by tomorrow. Of course, I'll have to field test it before I can show it off...and maybe that ore could work in the weapon systems...
*Star starts mumbling things about bolts and systems, but beyond that it's impossible to make out what she's talking about.*
Oh? Yeah, I take scrap. Let me get a look at it. See the quality and all.
Senri doesn't mind the mumbling and empties the sack onto the desk. It appears to be... A mess of car parts. Engine, exhaust, a battery, broken off rear-view mirror, and a brake.
Don't ask where I got these from. Confidentiality, yeah?
*Despair smile once Star put on the bracelet and just listen to what she said before talking*
Hey, Star do you know any place I can stay at?
Hmm...yeah, this is some good stuff. The engine is a bit busted, but the battery looks like it's in good condition. A few repairs and I'll have some new parts for my project. I'm running low on funds, but if things go well with my project I'll have a good amount of money in my pocket. Here's your pay.
*She gives Senri a small bag containing 7,500 yen*
It's not much, but it's better than nothing. Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who would take this kind of stuff around here. Hmm...well, there's a small apartment close by to the shrine that I own. Just bought it too. Your in luck. As a friend, I'll give you a small discount. Just make sure to pay rent every month and not blow the place up.

Though, while I'm here... What do you recommend for katanas? I would prefer something one handed, easy to hold, something sharp where only one strike would be needed...

Look, the rent is cheap, and if you want to bring scrap in to pay the rent then that's fine, so...okay? As for katanas, I got a good amount of them in stock. The one you're looking for would be something like this.
*Suddenly, a short katana and sheath suddenly appear on the counter.*
It's sharp, easy to use with one hand, and it's got a good grip on it. It's been enchanted to be easier to focus on weak points in whatever your fighting so you can take them down easier. I'll sell it for 3,000 yen. Pretty cheap, but I've got a surplus of them. Besides, custom weapons are much better than stock weapons

Excuse, is there anyone here who can repair my eye? I got into a nasty scuffle of sorts and it got busted up. (Flinches as a surge of pain in the metallic eye hits him causing him to stumble) S-s-sorry I just got a bit light headed just now.
