Magic Shop Uizado
Tucked away off the Shibuya streets was a little shop, a few strange charms dangling outside. The sign overhead, written in a hasty style that those who had their fortunes read may remember, simply called the shop "Uizado," or "Wizard." Izumi was inside, sitting behind a desk looking between a glassy clear gem, a tarot card, and a watch. Perhaps more eye catching, however, were the shelves. Lined with all manner of curious bauble. There were books of complex magical equations, enchanting reagents and raw materials, tarot decks, playing cards, stereotypical black top hats (rabbits not included), and fake wands.
The Batter enters the shop and looks around at the shelves. Eventually moving up to the person at the counter and speaking to them "What is this place? Do you know a person who goes by the name Zacherie?"
Gamma took a bit of a detour on his way to his own business, ordinarily he’d have never found the shop, but today, whether it was to avoid the crowds or for some other reason, he finds himself on this same street. He was about to pass by, considering it some tourist trap, but glancing inside, in addition to the stereotypical objects, were some of interest, and so, after a shallow sigh, he enters, and briefly browses the shelves before commenting Y’know, I’ve seen about a dozen of this type of shop appear while I’ve been here. However, none of them are remotely convincing. With one of the books in hand, Gamma glances over to Izumi So, allow me to ask. How much of this stuff are simple trinkets, gifts and the like, And is any of it real? OOC: I’ll be rather slow in replying, about to start driving home
Izumi looks up from her work, seeing someone had entered the shop. Zacherie? I can't say I've ever heard of that name. Why do you ask? She would then look over at Gamma, eyeing him closely. Everything here has a purpose. Some are trinkets, others have actual power... if held in the proper hands.

[Kazuma felt good today. He was out and walking in hopes of finding any kind of thing that may peak his interest. Luckily, he found this small store that reminded him of his own world and home. Ah, Ishana, how could he possibly forget.] What a lovely place this is, do you get costumers often? [The green haired young man ask to no one in specific as he makes his way inside.]
As if he appeared from nowhere, a man simply was in the shop one instant. He poked around the shelves, eyeing the trinkets curiously. He had overheard the owner's reply to Gamma's query, and wanted to know exactly how strong they were. Pardon me miss, but may I test one of these objects myself? I'd like to verify the legitimacy of them, if you don't mind.
Gamma grins as he closes the book and sorts it back on the shelf. Not that it was for him anyways Nice answer, even the simplest trinket can be useful if you’re clever enough. For example Gamma looks for the most obviously fake item in the shop, one of the magic wands, and holds it up Without changing it, even a simple plastic stick can be used to make or channel something. Or even just a touch of extra reach. Gamma briefly glances around at the sudden influx of green-haired people, one of While he actually knows l, but doesn’t acknowledge the other customers yet
Costumers? I mean, I only recently opened here. This is a new venture, since school seems out of the picture in a place like this. And fortunes alone don't pay bills. But I hope this doesn't attract cosplayers. She then nods to the F H individual. Sure, just so long as you pay. She'd applaud at Gamma's belief, before a giant man falls in from the ceiling. W-who are you!? My roof! What kind of monster are you!?

(Suddenly, a 7'3 man falls from the sky) ow....that kind of hurts
The man decided to pick a book off the shelf, and flipped through it leisurely. Magic is quite a broad subject, and I can't say I'm all too well-versed in casting from a tome; but I can try. He walks towards the door, pushing it open and extending an arm outward down the length of the street. The book begins to levitate briefly as a blast of purple energy is fired from his outstretched hand and flies down the street, colliding with a building at the end of the road and eradicating it, leaving not a trace of it ever being there.
(He also walks in) hm..this is interesting
You got a good bunch of cosplayers, just look at Pinky over there. Well his name is Gamma technically but he is such a cutie. [The young man points at him with a sly grin before making a quick spin with both arms wide open.] Then again, you got an entire circus of weirdos! Not like it doesn't happen anywhere else. [The young man sighs after a nice, loud chuckle, and leans against the counter.] What do you have, hun? Anything of possible interest? I would love to hear the recommendations of another hat user.
So...wonder if there's anything here I actually want?...
O-oh my.... I didn't think.... from a beginner's book...? She stares in awe at what the man just did, looking between him, Reperzel, and the watch on her desk. A giant man, a building disappearing, and yet it isn't reacting...?
(He then pulls out his banjo and p!ays it softly)
He sighs, closing the book with an audible clap sound. He turns back to Izumi, a frustrated look on his face. Well, you do indeed have the real deal, I apologize for the sloppiness. As I said, I am rather inexperienced with that sort of thing. It must be shameful to see an amateur use your wares in such a way. He places the book back on the shelf where he found it, making sure the assortment is straight and presentable.
While exploring the Nexus as usual, Jiyu comes across the magic shop and stares at it. "Hmm, well this is a strange place for a store to be... I bet it's in such a strange place because there's shady business going on inside." Jiyu enters the shop, looking around.
Recommendations? Well, what are you trying to do? Learn magic? Do parlor tricks? See the future? She'd watch F H closely as he puts the book back, still seeming rather wary of him.... Fight evil?
Gamma sighs and shakes his head, glancing out the window at the poor used-to-be building. After a silent moment to mourn, he shrugs and glances at Kazuma out the corner of his eye I was starting to think you simply forgot my name. Nice to see you do care after all. But I’d advise against calling my cute. His piece said, Gamma looks at the watch on Izumi’s desk, before stepping towards it to get a closer look Let me guess, you’re new here. Or at least newish. I take it this is supposed to be something that detects magic? Those are usually limited in their range, can only detect a few kinds from the place they’re native too. Pretty inconvenient if you look at multiverse theory
Dannnnnaaaa danananaa
Well you see, human nature makes it necessary I keep calling you cute now that you asked me to stop. [Kazuma gives the young, "pink" haired guy a quick thumbs up. Of course he couldn't forget about him, it was way too easy to laugh at certain people.] Well, everyone except maybe Hazama-san. [He says this outloud before deciding to talk to Izumi.] Oh, if you have anything on...vivid illusions, or hypnosis I would love you for as long as I stay in this shop.
Magic? No, no, no. It detects time. She seems a little proud of this fact, even as she eyes Reperzel with nothing but confusion. Specifically the effects of things from times that should not be. As for illusions... I may have some enchantments for that.
Jiyu looks over to Izumi, recognizing her. "Hey, fortune telling girl. Do you sell any agility potions?"
Gamma sighs and looks back to Kazuma, annoying as always, but not boring Congratulations, you have the distinct honor of being the only person to consistently annoy me on purpose. Usually they’re just completely oblivious Gamma follows Izumi’s gaze to Zane and chuckles, he’s far from the weirdest thing here after all Fortunately we have an entity who usually deals with time stuff. His name is Chronos, and his job is probably hell. Never gotten to talk to him though, so it’s not like I can confirm his piece said, Gamma looks over to one of the tarot decks, after all, though there’s no magic about it, the tarot is relevant to some extent.
Ah, I hope he can handle this. If not, I'm always here. Fu fu.... Ah, agility potions? I'm afraid potions aren't really my specialty, but I do know someone who makes them! Her name is Kotori Kisaragi.
Oh those enchantments would be nifty, I'll pay for them as long as they are good. [Kazuma says this to Izumi. He was feeling curious enough and he's noticed how easy it is to trick most people around these places. This said, Gamma's statement was enough to make him laugh proudly.] People like you are easy to annoy, way too predicatable, almost as much as people like...that Tatsuya guy. [Says Kazuma, trying to remember irrelevant people.]
"Oh, Kotori sells potions?" "Well that's good to know, I guess..." Jiyu mumbles to himself. "Anyway, do you sell anything that involves fire attacks?"
You'd think so Kazuma, after all, I tend to think things through and come to an obvious conclusion Gamma browses through the tarot decks before finding one that suits his fancy. Something straightforward, yet elegant. Afterwards he continues But its not too uncommon to find disagreement. I guess they simply have different priorities. Gamma takes the deck up to the store counter and reaches into his pocket How much for a tarot deck? I'm not very practiced in the subject, but it can still be interesting, if nothing else.
Fire attacks? Well I do have some books on magic, I believe fireball is a fairly basic spell. As for the tarot deck.... 2500 yen good?
See, what I mean is that you talk big but lack any substance, add that to your base value minus a disproporcionate ego times...you failures divided by how many times you've actually succeded in life and you get... [Kazuma exagerates his hand posture, making it seem as if he was thinking really hard on this.] C'mon Pinky, you are smart, aren't you? I bet you know already, unlike everyone else, oh so inferior. It's simple math. [Kazuma's smile grows and puts his hands together, not even waiting for his reply.] That is right, you get "worthless"! And worthless people! And worthless people are easy to annoy, you see? [Kazuma chuckles at his own little joke. He then sighs and puts his hands inside of his pockets, humming a nice tune.]
Gamma finds his wallet and begins counting out the money, though Izumi didn't seem very sure, but he's not going to question it. So, 2500. I should have more than enough for that. Here you are miss Izumi, your first actual customer of the people gathered With a sigh, Gamma brings out the requested 2500 yen and slides it over to Izumi before shrugging and looking at Kazuma out the corner of his eye Actually, your math's off a little. You tried dividing by zero there, and that's just something you don't do. First computers to try it exploded, so now they just all error out.
"Hmm, I could use the fireballs as an alternative to my persona, so I'll take a book." Jiyu walks up to the counter. "So, are the books behind the counter or are they somewhere here in the store?"
I love it when the jokes tell themselves. [Kazuma gives Gamma a nice pat to the back before leaving the shop.]
Ene
Oh what kind of place might this be? (Ene curiously peers into the shop and then walks in after spotting all the cool magic stuff. Earlier she went for a walk right after waking up to clear her head a bit. Wandering about Shibuya in a bit of a daze she happened to come across this interesting place.) umm actually nevermind ... (Noticing all the people she instead looks through the shelves and watches.)
They're over on the shelf there. Depending on what you want it can run from five thousand yen to fifty.
With a sigh, Gamma takes the tarot deck and heads for the door, waving at whoever may remain inside Thanks for the cards, and if you ever have any questions Izumi, don't hesitate to ask. I've somehow become some kinda tour guide for this place. Not that it matters much, nothing ever seems to be consistent. And so, the young Lavender-haired man begins to open the door, and walk out onto the streets
Ene
(Ene slightly waves back at Gamma, but she really doesn't know what to say that won't be kind of awkward. What can you say after you have tried to hurt your friends for weeks? She finds a hat among the shelves and distracts herself with it.) Is this a real magic hat?
"Oh, alright." Jiyu walks over to the books and looks at each one of them.
Magic hats are.... generally not real. They're tricks, not actual magic.
Of course Gamma notices Ene as he walks out. With everything that's happened its no surprise she'd remain silent. Maybe if he'd actually managed to accomplish something, but as it is, he simply walks out the door and into the city streets
Ene
Aww ... That's kind of boring. (Ene continues to look around the shop.) Do you have anything that is filled with actual magic?
Well what kind of actual magic are you looking for? I have spell books, if you're looking to learn. Indeed she does. There's a ton of them as Jiyu finds. They mostly cover the same basic magic. Some enchanting. A little on illusions. It's just how thick and elaborate you want to go.
*Hibki walks in, wearing his comically overiszed shoes and gloves to his his paws, and his hood is up covering his ears* Hopefully this place is real. *He quickly starts scanning the books, seeming to already know what he wants to find*
Ene
(Ene notices the time and hastily rushes out of the store.) Sorry! I really have to go. (She runs down the street and joins the crowd.)
*He doesn’t seem to find what he’s lookimg for so he walks up to the counter* Excuse me, do you have any spell books on say, undoing a fusion? I have an issue I need fixed pretty badly.
Undoing a fusion? Why would you need to do something like that?
*He takes off his hood and oversized gloves and shoes* Something happened with my demon summoning app and now for some reason I can fuse humans with demons or Persona’s. Then, my Persona, Byakko, took my phone and fused me with her, so I get these cat features and her nagging voice in my brain. *He then grimaces as if he’s getting scolded by somebody*
"I'm just gonna pick a random one." Jiyu picks out a random book and looks at its cover.
Hmm.... I've never heard of something like that.... I don't know if I can be of help right now. Jiyu's book looks fairly plain. It's also, thankfully, in Japanese and not some weird otherworldly elf script or something.
Thanks anyways, most people think I’m faking it or just crazy. Maybe you have something that can help me hide my feline features better than my hoodie and some oversized clothes though?
Jiyu opens the book and starts to flip through the pages, trying to find a page that will catch his eye.
Hiding body parts.... maybe I could find something to make them seem invisible. Though you'd still need the oversized clothes to not feel discomfort. Jiyu would likely find all sorts of basic spells. I think I said them already earlier...?
How much would it cost to make the ears invisible? That way I don’t have to wear the hood all the time? I can handle the oversized clothes anyways.
Jiyu closes the book, and puts it at his side while he walks back to the counter. "Alright, I'll take this book. How much is it?"
