Secrets of the Mind: Despair, Hope, and Everything Between Them
OOC: I'd like to keep some for of tension in this thread so please try not to include character who are immune to such states as insanity or other mental conditions. That being said death is somewhat unlikely in this thread so don't think this is particularly any more dangerous then the usual thread of this type. The sky is clear today as the winter weather begins making way for the spring. Out along the sides of an old road exists two shrines. If one were to simply look they'd think the shrines were identical as they even seem to face one another. However, this is not the truth as one shrine is constantly covered by shade from the thick trees surrounding it while the other can never seem to find shade despite anything around it. One is dirty and cracking as none maintain its structure while the other is well kept, almost too well kept. In this world there must be balance. Chaos or harmony, eventually they all come together. Today is the day of a festival in honor of the deities who are said to be contained within each shrine. A few booths line the road between the shrine as people from nearby towns begin gathering. Within the growing crowd some may spot a couple oddly dressed individuals mixed in. Unlike the happy crowd these few individuals would look anything but happy. They had serious expressions on their faces as if expecting something terrible to soon happen.
Eito is among the crowd, looking out across all the people in interest. "Well, this is surely a rather exciting time, ain't it?" Finding some of the unhappy looking individuals, he stares intently at them, not know what to expect. "Well, those guys are quite grumpy, wonder what's up with that?"
(A snake 7'3 snake centipede is hiding around the festival, wanting to go, but can't, cuz reasons) Hm...looks interesting (He then noitces the unhappy people) Well...wonder why there like that?...well...not really...
Out on a stroll, the lady finds herself walking through the festival, walking in-between the many people gathered. She eventually notices the odd couple, with their expressions clashing against the joyful masses. She then decides to walk over to them, and stroll alongside them. You seem... distraught. Is there something the matter? This is surely an occasion for joy, but you seem apt to keep such a grave expression.
*Jack looks around the area, shuffling a deck of cards. He seems to be looking for an empty place to set up his usual game. He then notices the unhappy people and Eito watching them. He stands next to Eito and speaks up.* Well now. Ain't they some surprisingly unhappy customers for a place like this. Kinda makes a man wonder what's got em so down? Maybe they just don't like folks. What do you think, Chief?
"A festival of the gods? What dieties could these worshippers be serving? Perhaps the Winged Serpent of the Sky?" An oddly-dressed teenager, with quite a few bandages as well as some cross-shaped jewelry, mutters to himself as he weaves through the crowd. He decides to visit the dirtier shrine, humming in disapproval. "Oh, what a shame to see a god's holy realm become so desolate!"
(He moves around in the knowing he can't be seen, and he then notices eito) ...and lessssst he ain't kalib.. (He then overheard the jewled boy) ...winnged.....Serpent?...does he mean Quetzalcoatl?
(edited by Reperzel)
Eito stares up at Jack, angling his head to the side while crossing his arms. "I don't know, pal. Seems they're expecting something and as i've learned, that's never a good thing in places like this." The teenager shakes his head as he continues thinking.
The individual Nacci approached would be a woman with dark black hair wearing a robe with yellow spots all over it resembling eyes. The cloak's eyes almost seemed to actually be staring and watching Nacci as she approaches and the cloak itself almost seems to be made of some kind of feathers. The woman would look back with a serious and fearful gaze. She almost seemed like she didn't want to be there and that she was uncomfortable being approached by anyone. "None of your concern. Now move along. It should be starting soon...Gebura..." From seemingly out of nowhere a few individuals in similarly strange outfits would have already finished setting strange looking machines up around the festival. Anghel would see that the dirty shrine would almost exude an evil and dark aura. The closer one got to the main building of the shrine the more they'd feel a sense of hopelessness. Something inside was clearly incredibly dark in nature. A voice can almost be heard speaking in a dark male voice. ???: "...What's the point...?"
"What the hell?" Eito rapidly looks all around himself, particularly staring at the strangely clothed people and their machines. He puts his hand into his pocket, pulling out a strange white stone. "Kid, this better not be any more of that Corporation bullshit..."
"Gah... The foul influence eats at my crimson breast..." Even as he grips his chest, his typical overdramatic nature isn't just him being... well, Anghel. Even he has enough sense to know that this place has a very negative aura. "Dark Spirit! What drives you to shower this domain with this energy?" Anghel shouts at the shrine, although stays a few feet away from the entrance.
Hm..I kind of wanna sssssscare ssssssomeone, but who? (He thenx looks over at eito) Why not, (Then, he jumps onto a top of something, and locks onto eito, and then springs around himself. And flys into the air, and then falls sigh below eito, and then, he falls down, and his snake tail lands of his head, and bounces off, disspering into the Shadow) WOOOO
The woman sighs, before walking away from the couple. She decides to walk towards the cleaner shrine, keeping an eye on the strange people now setting up machines around the area. That's... very suspicious. I hope they don't mean to harm the people here, they're all in such high spirits. She hears the shouting from Anghel, but ignores it because of the clear theatricality and continues towards the cleaner shrine.
Corporation? I ain't down to play with weak-willed politicians and snobby accountants. Regardless about that, anyone else notice some sort a whisperin on the wind? Somethin about that ole shrine don't seem right.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Eito draws both of his guns and aims towards Rep, though he lowers them and sighs. He puts both pistols back in his jacket and crouches down to grab the stone he dropped. "One day, i'm gonna fucking dissect that bug." Shaking his head, Eito then looks back to Jack. "Not that kind of...Whatever." "Yeah, I hear it. Something's wrong with this place."
(edited by Eito)
PFFFFF AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...OHOHOHO...Ohh.ohoh..ohhh...god..that..was ducking hilarious
The voice would reply to Anghel in a very hushed tone as if something is interfering with it. "I...choice...they...hate..." It would seem that the only way to properly speak to the entity would be to enter the building itself. Nacci meanwhile would walk up to the cleaner shrine. Immediately she might notice that the area itself seems to be surrounded by an aura of peace. Things would just feel in harmony here as if some unspeakable good was residing within the shrine and spreading its influence outward. The closer one would get to this good force the more they felt as if they might be able to do anything. The strange agents would finally finish activating the machines as a large almost invisible force field of sorts surrounding the entirety of the two shrines and everything caught in between them. Finally, reality would seem to begin warping and changing. Nothing had truly changed but there was a clear shift in space itself as a rather tall woman with red hair and a scar across her left eye would be standing just outside the field. Her expression seemed calm but there was a certain fire in her eyes that indicated a possible hidden nature. Eito might hear the voice of the child although only faintly. Child of the Galaxy: "The corporation? Yes, they're involved. Those strange suits indicate them. They always wear suits made from our power. As for why they're here...I don't know. I've never met these ones but it feels as if a balance is being formed where you are. Good and evil mashing together in as if they were one. Please be careful...I'm not sure what could happen..."
(edited by Persona)
"Alright, i'll be careful. Stay safe." Eito nods and pockets the stone once again, before stepping forward, towards the cracked, shaded shrine, reaching out to touch it. "This...This is too weird..."
Wait....idea. (He then drills underground, and drills right under eito, and pops his head up, and then, headbutts eito in the crouch, and then drills underground again, and disppers) OHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHH!!!...OH GOOD GOD THATS FUNNY!
"I see... I must venture into this realm. But hopefully I don't pass through the Gate of Erebus for this..." Anghel takes a deep breath, then ventures inside, holding a mapping pen. It's just an ordinary pen, although it makes him feel less defenseless. Partly because it's his "holy spear."
(edited by Anghel)
*Jack decides to follow Eito and heads towards the shrine. As Rep makes his attack, Jack sighs, before looking at the top card of his deck.* 5 of diamonds. Huh. This snake is bein a real nuisance. You seem to know him, Cheif. Is he a friend a yours?
(Everyone can hear really loud laughing) AHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, AHHHHH, OHOH...OH GOD...THAT FUCKING HILARIOUS...AHHHHAH..ohh..my lungs...they hurt from laughing.... Ohh
(edited by Reperzel)
The young woman would continue to walk towards the shrine, slowing down to feel the peaceful energy as she approached. This... feeling... I haven't felt this in so long... The overwhelming dread of daily life just seems to melt away... She barely seems to notice the distortion of the area as she basks in the overwhelming peace from the shrine.
(edited by Forget-Me-Not)
Unfortunately for Rep, his head hits something hard and metallic. Seems Eito brought protection in the form of a codpiece. "Asshole." He then turns to face Jack, a look of murderous intent readily obvious. "Do I know him? Yes." "Is he a friend of mine? He used to be."
(edited by Eito)
Ohhhhhh, my head...he must've been 300% erect...
Within the dark shrine the air would be musty with a thick depressing aura hanging in the air. Upon a pedestal in the center of the building would be a pendant with a simple cloth string tied to a strange stone of the darkest color one could possibly imagine. There was a bit of light at its top taking the form of a small dot almost resembling an eye but it would be quickly overshadowed by the darkness of the pendant. The voice would now be clear and full of curiosity. Yin: "Someone...entered? Most just leave. Who are you? Why are you here?" As the voice resonated from within the pendant the dark feeling of despair would seep out. Anghel would feel the purest form of despair they could possibly imagine and they knew it was all coming from the pendant. Eito and Jack upon approaching the darker shrine would begin feeling the same sensation but to a much lesser extent from outside. It was clear that something oppressive must have been coming from within the shrine. It must have been something evil and dark to send out such a twisted feeling to those around. Nacci was close to the main building of the lighter shrine now. She could feel the peaceful aura wash everything away. Nothing could disturb her now in this state. Someone could die in front of her and she wouldn't lose this peace. A feminine voice would begin speaking but it was hard to understand what it was saying as if the connection was blocked off. ???: "Another comes...come...here...dark...light..."
...idk why am here...I kind of wanna stay.....I mean, I hit eito in the balls....so I call that a good day...
(edited by Reperzel)
The lady would continue to take slower and slower steps towards the shrine, now stretching her arm out, reaching for the source of this peaceful aura. I-I need this... forever..! Everyone needs... this sense of peace...
"Ugh..." Anghel drops to one knee, pulling at the bandages on his chest. "Demonic Red Eye, cease thy awakening... I need to focus..." He looks up at the pendant, picking up his "Holy Spear" that he had dropped in his small collapse. "I am Anghel Higure, Crimson Angel of Judecca. Relic of Despair, I wanted to know what the source of this intense concentration of Demon Spores was... and it seems to be you, if I'm not mistaken."
Eito extends his hand, a blue card floating on it. He balls his fist around it, summoning Odysseus, his bronze helmet already staring at Rep, his spear pointed. "Brave Blade." The Persona dashes to stab Rep with incredible force. Eito scoffs and turns back to the shrine, sighing as he speaks to Jack. "You suddenly feel like...I dunno, just giving up?" "Because I do." Shaking his head, the teenager starts walking towards the shrine, spotting the red haired woman and waving at her in curiosity as he continues. "Weird..."
Oh...shiiiiiiiiiiit. (The stab goes Rep into him, but not enough to penetrate him) OWWWWWWWW, FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK, THIS HURTZ!
*Jack feels the sensation before turning to the Shrine's Entrance.* What the hell is in there? This feelin I got... This doesn't seem like a good bet, Cheif. We should get outta here while we can. *Jack watches at Eito goes further in* H-Hey! Chief! Grr... What am I doin? *Jack stays outside the dark shrine.*
OWWWWWW, EITO I SWEAR TO FUCKIN' GOD IM GONNA KILL YA ONE DAY, IM GOING TO FUCKIN LOVE IT!
(edited by Reperzel)
Get fucked.
Nacci's hand would finally reach into the shrine and be pointed directly towards a pendant of the lightest coloration. A small dark spec would be at its top but the light around it would far outshine such darkness. In direct proximity of the pendant was a light aura that made those within it feel an internal peace. It was as if nothing bad existed in the world at all anymore. Only light could be seen. It made those around it want to wear the pendant feeling that they never wanted to be away from it. The feminine voice from before would remain silent for a while before speaking once more. Yang: "...Good and evil...did you know that one cannot exist without the other? Feel free to try and hide from despair but you'll soon learn the truth of this balance." Meanwhile, at the darker shrine. The red-haired woman would simply seem to glare at Eito for a moment before ignoring him. Once inside the shrine Eito and Jack would be met with Anghel facing towards a dark pendant. Pure agony would be floating within the air as if to remove any purpose they had. The air held no hope in it. The voice from the pendant would once again begin speaking back. It almost seemed to enjoy the company of others. Yin: "Yes, despair and desolation are within what I am. This is the way I was made. Yet, you're a strange one. Most who get this close to me would grow uncomfortable and leave by now. Why are you still here? Are you not disturbed by my presence?"
"Wha..." Eito falls to his knees, trying to resist the feeling, his eyes rapidly changing from crimson to green to yellow to blue to more as he shakes. "What's going on? Why...Why is this happening?" The teenager starts trying to get out of the shrine quickly.
"I... Am supposed to fight evil... like Wa... Wallen..." Anghel trails off, staring at the pen in his hand. Why is he here? What purpose does he have if everything's useless? "Edel Blau... Edel Blau..." He chants this to himself. He slowly stands up and backs away, moving on pure instinct and knowledge of an ally he can't exactly leave just yet.
*Feeling the despair in the air, Jack stumbles, pressing a hand to the wall, breathing heavily.* W-What the hell is this feelin? I... This is just... Seems the house... holds all the cards in this situation. What am... I doin here? *Jack winces in pain as he starts backing away slowly from the pendant.*
While she continues to reach towards the pendant, the woman then stops to a halt as she hears the female voice. She holds her position, thinking about her words, and responding. I... I know it's inevitable. But... at least once, allow for me to retreat from the despair of the world. If I never face the evil of this world, then the peace is for nothing, I would have no one to enjoy it with. But, j-just for this moment... I want this feeling to last... She then attempts to take hold of the pendant, looking desperate for it's energy.
Getting away from the pendant the feeling would slowly begin to subside. The voice would begin to speak in a desperate tone as if saddened by others leaving it once again. Yin: "What's even my purpose? Why was I created if I all I do is bring people suffering? You all hate me, don't you...?" Nacci would grab onto the light pendant. She would feel a temptation to put it on as when she grabbed hold of it the effects only increased. It was an intoxicating harmony. One that made an one never want to go back to the harshness of the real world. It was upon reaching out and touching the light pendant that the pendant was finally able to call out to its other..."Yin...I am your other half. Come find me and I shall find you..." The dark pendant would seem to stop emitting the despair-filled aura. It would begin floating in the air as a different aura surrounded it. Yin: "Other half...Yes, I should find it. Then, I'll understand..."
Anghel gasps, slowly regaining his senses. That aura is gone. Something else is here. "The Relic of Despair... has another half...?" Even in this dazed state, he can piece together what this pendant needs. "In the other shrine... Yes, the Relic of Light and Relic of Despair are supposed to unite... but for what?" Anghel continues to talk to himself as he begins to walk out of the shrine, glancing back at the floating pendant to see if it's coming as well.
Eito sucks in a large breath, as if he finally got the chance to breath after holding it in for a long time. "This is getting too weird for me!" The teenager gets up and quickly gets out of the shrine, remembering the Child Of Galaxy's warning to be careful. "I can't do this!"
*Jack almost collapses as he exits the shrine.* Oh, sweet Jesus. I made it out of that mess. *Jack looks over to Eito* What the hell was that thing, Eito?!
"I don't fucking know, Jack!" Eito has his hands on his knees, struggling to breathe. "And to be honest, i'm not sure I want to!"
Th-this is so... yes... But... K-Kalib, Aitome, and... Lux. How can I protect the remaining parts of my life if I... Holding the pendant, the woman grits her teeth, trying to resist the urge to put it around her neck as much as she could. Instead, she grabs it with both hands, and quickly fastens it around her left wrist, hoping it would keep herself away from the temptation to wear it.
The pendant would begin emitting an orange/brown light as if incapable of hearing anyone any longer. Yin: "We must rejoin..." The pendant would begin rapidly spinning in circles as its form changes. From the once dark pendant, an orange and brown fish like creature would emerge the size of the shrine itself. Breaking apart the shrine as it ascended into the sky it would look down upon everyone nearby. From the face of the fish-like creature, a giant eye would open staring at all around it. The eye would glow with an orange light as it began glowing brighter and brighter. Finally, an orange beam would shoot directly from its single eye and onto the ground below everyone'es feet. It would leave an orange glow on the floor that would seem to have no direct effect at the moment. Meanwhile, the light pendant Nacci caries would begin glowing with a white light as well. It would begin speaking to Nacci in a direct and serious tone. Yang: "Take me to the other shrine. Light and dark must become one."
*Jack just stares as the fish creature emerges from the shrine.* WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS THAT THING?! Chief, I think we may be in trouble, here.
Light and dark, become one..? The lady sighs, shaking her head in confusion, before smiling. Of course. I shall take you. She begins walking away from the shrine, now finally noticing the distorted space she was in. That's... odd. Did this happen while I wasn't paying attention? Weird.
(edited by Forget-Me-Not)
Anghel jumps back, brandishing the mapping pen. "I was mistaken. The Relic of Despair is no mere relic. If I had to guess... a God That Fled the Titans. This could be bad." He then bolts towards the other shrine, waving his pen wildly. "Out of my way! I must find the Relic of Light to appease the Fish of the Stars!"
"WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THAT?" Stepping back in shock, Eito hurriedly looks back towards Jack. "Jack, we need to get the fuck out of here!" The teenager starts stepping backwards, making sure to keep an eye on the fish...Thing.
Chief, I could not agree with you more as I do right now. I know when to fold, and this is when to fold. *Jack starts retreating from the area*
"Agreed." Eito starts running backwards, taking looks behind him to make sure he doesn't fall, though still keeping an eye on the fish.
The group at the dark shrine would reach the road once more full of people. It was a smart decision to retreat as the area they were previously in would burst in a flash of orange light as an overly oppressive and concentrated aura would spread around the area. They'd have barely avoided this effect but still made it away in time. The dark fish like creature would begin slowly swimming through the air as the orange glow around it would slowly spread sending out an even more concentrated amount of despair. It was now slowly swimming towards the crowd of people. Nacci would reach the road with the white pendant as it began to glow brighter and brighter. It would begin floating above Nacci's wrist as if ready to transform as well. Its voice could once more be heard clearly but this time to all around. Yang: "You all who hide within the heavenly embrace than peace. You worship the light as if it were a divine blessing. However, the world has more than warmth and light. There is despair and chaos as well. Soon, the two forces connected by fate shall be rejoined." The white pendant ould begin spinning around rapidly as it transforms into a large white fish with glistening blue eyes. The fish would swim into the air as the pendant separated from Nacci.A glowing wave of light would begin emanating from it filling all around with a different kind of peace. One that would numb their thoughts and make them feel too at peace. They would begin to feel uncomfortable as the warmth began to burn them from within. Th red-haired woman continues to stand on the one side of the road away from the crowd. The force field still up but not many would be aware until they ran directly into it. She would scowl at seeing the two abnormalities wreak havoc upon the crowd. She almost looked ready to jump into the fray herself and start beating the monsters but she knew her role was too important for such action.
Anghel lets out a sharp laugh as the two fish take to the skies. "Oh, my crimson breast burns from this... Light and dark clashing, singing of sorrow and peace... Their radiance may be too much!" His laughter is cut off as he clutches his chest. "No, I need to hurry before their power gets too great... I can feel the demon within working its way out... Just in case, I must..." Anghel looks around for... something to write on?
The woman grabs her chest and forehead, feeling the overwhelming feeling of peace that seems to almost harm her internally. A-ah, this... What are you..? She reaches out towards the fish as it swims away, tempted to shoot it at this point just to end the pain.
"Oh no, I ain't hanging around for this!" Eito grabs onto Jack and rapidly retreats, eventually hitting the force field. "No, no, no...Let us out!" Eito hits the field with all his strength.
A damn force field? You have gotta be kiddin me?! I’m just a simple gambling man. How’d I get tied up this mess? *With a growl, Jack turns around and leans against the forcefield. He glares at the two fish.* I ain’t dying here.
Yin would begin to approach the street as well before firing off another beam into the crowd of people who would begin panicking. The floor glow with the same orange light as before as Yang would begin swimming closer to Yin. If not stopped the fish would soon touch one another. The red-haired woman looked as though she was about to lose it as she begins shouting. ???: "Hey, idiots! Stop them already! Do you want everyone in there to die or something?!? If they touch a lot of people are going to end up dying!!!" Anghel would look around for anything of use to write with. Suddenly they would notice a notepad that was left behind possibly by one of the agents. There was a bit of writing on the first page but every page after that would be clear.
"Aha! A parchment to enscribe some runes!" Anghel soon notices the forcefield. And the red-haired shouting human. He shakes his head. "How did my demonic eye not see them sooner? But nevermind. I shall create a rune of surpression, then, Maiden of Athena!" He scribbles something onto the notepad, then tears off the sheet of paper. But how to get it to the fish up high? He snaps his fingers, then folds it into a paper airplane, throwing it towards Yin. "I was robbed of my wings, but these will do! Winged Seal of Order!" It's just a normal sheet of paper with no special properties, but anyone within sight of Anghel would be less affected by the two fishes' auras. How effective this would be, probably not very, due to their power. But it would at least make for a decent distraction. Maybe poke the dark fish's eye.
"You know what would be nice? IF YOU CAME IN HERE AND FUCKING HELPED US!" Drawing his pistols, he aims at Yin and Yang, though doesn't shoot yet. "Whatever, should I shoot them?"
The lady immediately stares down the fish once she hears the words of the woman outside the forcefield. On her outstretched arm, palm now facing the white fish, the center of it opens to reveal a gun barrel. Steady... Clicking noises can be hears from her torso before her hair and eyes then flare up with a sharp yellow. Small jolts of electricity pop from her hair, but she continues to focus her aim. Now! In a burst of sparks, a speeding bullet would travel towards the white fish, followed closely by a trail of sparks, aiming to strike it from below and exit through the top of it's head.
The paper airplane would somehow hit the Yin directly in the eye causing it to squirm around before ramming into the ground right as the glow from before would be set off in a mass burst of light followed by all within the light becoming filled with a concentrated amount of despair and negativity. The burst of light would seemingly have no effect on Yin themselves but they'd need time to recover. Yang, on the other hand, would go down incredibly easy with the bullets and lightning hitting it as it would revert back to the light pendant and simply float above the ground vibrating. Its power was not yet gone but it would be halted for the moment. The red-haired woman would shout out once more. ???: "No point in aiming more than a few hits on 103. It'll just keep coming back as long as 102 is still on a rampage. 102 is immune to all black type damage...uh, that means magic or cosmic based energy. It's resistant to physical attacks and weak to mental damage. I doubt any of you would be capable of pale type damage but that would hurt it the most."
Mental damage... I suppose this could work. The opening on her palm closes, and a blue card now appears in her hand. She smashes it, and the large mechanical spider that is her Persona rises from below her, now carrying her on it's back. As it's summoned, a yellow light would begin to flow around herself and her allies. Hemera, Pulinpa! A bright light would begin to swirls around Yin, attempting to confuse it even further, for better or for worse.
(edited by Forget-Me-Not)
Anghel covers his eyes, clutching his chest with his other hand as Yin's negative energy pools out. He stays like that for another moment, then fumbles for the notepad. "A... another one... should do..." Food time, will be back later. Feel free to move on while birb boy recovers.
"Well, I can still do something..." Following the woman's lead, Eito extends his hand and curls his fist around the floating blue card on it as Odysseus appears behind him. "Brave Blade once again!" The Persona dashes at Yin and attempts to stab it in a singular, furious strike.
Yin would begin rushing around and flailing in pain as the light phases them. It would almost seem like their form itself was disrupted by the light and Eito's attack would hit them dead on. Although the physical attack would be endured in Yin's confused state it certainly would not be able to do much to prevent itself from taking damage. It would begin trying to retaliate by sending out a wave of an orange/brownish aura the almost had the appearance of a dusty cloud. This would be much more volatile than it's usual aura as it would try to burn at the skin of its attackers. The white pendant meanwhile would begin glowing once more. The energy beginning to return to Yang who might soon return in full form.
There's not much Anghel can do to prevent Yang from returning. However, from his spot by a stall, he scribbles something onto the notepad again and tears off the page. "The others should be able to take the Fish of the Blue Star down like last time. But I should be able to do something as well." He waits, edging closer to the "Fish of the Red Star," Yin.
Eito summons Odysseus once again, taking off his jacket and covering his head and hands as he crouches down, avoiding any major damage from the aura. "Goddamnit, we need more..." Pointing towards Yin once again, he sighs. "Again, Brave Blade!" The Persona goes to stab Yin one more time.
I don't know how much longer I can go. I'm perfectly awake but it's 3 AM for me and I need to be up at 6 AM, so we'll see if I can stay here until the end.
dude just go to sleep already
Seeing the aura coming towards her, the lady raised her arms to block her face. The wave began to tear down the clothing and outer layer on her arms, revealing the metal below, before it began to slowly eat that as well. Tsk, this isn't good... Hemera began to slowly walk backwards, attempting to leave the effective area of the aura. Well luckily for us, we have range! Go! Hemera stops walking, and points it's front two legs towards Yin, then unleashing a barrage of bullets from both straight towards it. The lady would follow up with a few electrically charged bullets from herself.
No, i'm reaching a new record.
Yin would stagger upon being hit with the blade once again. It's movements becoming erratic as the bullets begin being riddled into it. The electricity however would leave no effect upon Yin seeming to just fizzle out. Distracted by the physical attacks it wouldn't even acknowledge Anghel as the aura began to disperse. This would allow Anghel to get incredibly close to Yin. It would fire its beam this time directly at Eito in an attempt to paint him with the orange glow from before. The beam would fire straight from its eye. Meanwhile, the light pendant would once again take on its fish-like form as it began slowly moving towards Yin. It was continuing to try to fuse back into one with them as it gave off a slight wave of peace that would make others not see them as a threat. However, those outside this waves range would not be affected.
"Nope!" Eito drops to the ground immediately upon the beam's firing, dodging it, if only just. "Alright, here we go one last time!" "Odysseus, Marakunda!" With a wave of his spear, Odysseus weakens both fish, making them readily available for attack. "A-Alright..." He was relatively unharmed, but his constant dodges and uses of his Persona have tired him out. "I can't keep up the heat! Gonna have to take a moment..." And thus, Eito sprinted to the side, hopefully out of the twin fish' sights to rest. Okay, sleep deprivation has now set in. G'night.
"Demonic eye, remain closed!" Anghel charges forward, uncapping the mapping pen. He holds up his scribbled-on paper and, desperate to outrace the growing despair, thrusts it towards Yin's eye (once the beam was gone, of course). "Saekro'm, I call upon your power! Evil-Sealing Strike!" He then stabs forward with the pen, hoping to stab both the paper and Yin's eye to pin the former to the fish.
It's back! All right Hemera, once more! Again, Hemera raises its front legs, now aiming at Yang with its bullets. The lady would just simply stand and watch from atop her Persona, occasionally looking at her still yellow hair.
Yin would be rendered incapable of seeing anything but whatever is written on the note as it begins panicking and swimming wildly through the air in circles. It would be unsure how to react to such a situation. Yang would once more be knocked around by the bullets but this time it would seem to just barely hang onto its current form as it moves closer to Yin. It's only a little ways away as soon the two will be touching. If not for Yin's rampaging it might have already reached them but in its panicked state Yin would be moving around far too much.
"Yes! The rune is working!" Anghel, panting a little from the conflicting auras, backs off. "Metal Angel of Zeus! Take down the Fish of the Blue Star!"
The lady puts her palm up towards Yang again, firing another bullet at it in attempt to take it down. She then turns to her Persona. Hemera, I require an upwards toss. Can you launch my towards the black fish? The spider makes clacking noises, turning it's head to the side, before it slowly brings it's body down towards the ground. It then springs upwards, sending the lady flying towards Yin, as she attempts the punch the fish square in the face.
Yang would be brought down by the remaining bullets as it falls to the ground before once again reverting to the light pendant. The pendant was dangerously close to where Yin was now. However, with the final punch directed at Yin it would end up taking the impact directly to the face before falling to the ground. Landing with a crash it would begin glowing with a bright orange light before turning back into the dark pendant form. Both pendants would lie on the ground a few yard from one another. The woman with the red hair would begin shouting orders at the agents. ???: "Alright, now take down this stupid force field and retrieve 102 and 103. Remember to keep them separated! We don't need that thing getting out!" The agents would head over towards the two amulet pieces as the force field went down. The woman from earlier with the black hair and coat of many eyes would retrieve Yin. It was almost bizarre how unfazed she seemed by Yin's aura as if she simply didn't care about it. The same could be said for the slightly bored looking man wearing an unusual brown suit as he picks up Yang's pendant. They would quickly leave the area after retrieving each pendant. The red-haired woman would simply sigh in frustration as other agents began working on the machines.[/i]
Anghel runs up to where Yin used to be. Miraculously, "Saekro'm" was not broken, although it had seen better days. He picks up the pen and nods to himself. "And the Relics' song is quieted. Good job, Metal Angel!" He grins at the lady who had just punched out a fish, then approaches the red-haired lady and bows. "Your assistance was very valuable, Crimson Rose. Had I let the gods of the Blue and Red Stars unite, chaos would have come to this world, I assume."

The woman lands back on the ground with a thud, a satisfied smile on her face. Hemera would fade away back into a card, before the card the disappears as well. The lady then walks over to the red-haired woman. She gives Anghel a confused look. "Metal Angel"? Are you referring to me? Er, nevermind that. Ma'am, could you please explain to us what this event was? You seem to be someone of high standing within this force, so I find is appropriate that I ask you.
The woman would simply stare down for a while before answering. Upon closer detail, she seemed to wear a combat jumpsuit of sorts. Her face was scarred but still seemed refined in some ways and she was very tall. Geburah: "Sorry, most of that isn't really something I can divulge directly but I can tell you that I'm Geburah, leader of the disciplinary team. Typically it's my job to punish employees who break protocol or to punish abnormalities who get out. Damn bastards deserve to suffer as much as possible. Anyway, our work here is done. If those two had joined we'd have achieved suppression either way as they can only actually stay joined for a short time before exhausting their power but when joined they're capable of far more damage then when separated. So much that it's comparable to a bomb going off."
Oh, I suppose it's very good they were stopped then. Her hair and eyes finally returning to their regular grey, and the lady extends her hand out towards Geburah, her metal body exposed from the earlier wave. It was a pleasure to help and meet you, Miss Geburah. I do hope I can be of assistance in the future.

"So the Nova of the Fish of Stars... that would be a terrible thing to be caught in. I wish you luck is sealing any demons in the future." Anghel then rushes off to somewhere else. To where is uncertain. But he makes sure to take the notepad just in case. It helped him once, and it could help him again.
Geburah would return the handshake with a passive expression. She didn't even seem to be bothered by the robotic-like appearance of Nacci and her hand was oddly cold to the touch. Geburah: "Yes, I feared what might have happened if those bastards weren't stopped. We don't need any more deaths because of these things."
"Any more" deaths? You mean to say these two have run rampant before? How terrible... The lady removes her hand from the handshake, and then gives Geburah a warm smile. Well, if you require assistance, feel free to ask it of me. I'd never turn down such an opportunity to aid people in distress.
