Conceptual Realms: The Warmth and the Cold
It would float in mid-air like something out of a dream. It was hard to look at but also very easy and pleasant to look at. The best way I could describe its color is red as the object in question had no real color. It radiated with one very clear thing, warmth. The mere idea of warmth reflected off of it so blatantly that it was hard to even tell if it was anything besides the idea of warmth. It was like something out of a dream. The warmth was pleasant and the object was pleasant. It wasn't visible by any real means but it was circular in shape and covered at least a three foot radius. Those who were drawn to its warmth might try to enter its space. Within this space it would be warm like it was because it was warmth. It was comfort and it was through this comfort that others perhaps would learn to love it. This space of warmth was in the middle of a small meadow a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. There wouldn't be much to lead people here besides the vague thought that there was something warm here. No one would know why but the feeling and idea of warmth would be very strongly coming form where the space was.
It's a cold night... A young woman in a black suit of armor wanders through the woods, she's shivering to herself as she walks. Even the swarm of insects following along above her head seems to feel the chill, yet for some reason, the direction she's walking almost seems as if it's a solution to her problem. As she steps into the meadow, her swarm would begin rushing toward the floating object in the air, Skitter herself feels the sense of warmth flowing around it through her bugs... Part of her doesn't trust that calming feeling, almost like some kinda Master effect, but even as she starts to walk away something in the air would draw her closer. Sighing to herself, she walks toward the object and removes her swarm from it. She'd stare at this... Thing, with her own eyes now, bugs aren't so good at figuring out shapes... But even seeing it in person, she can't quite tell what this thing is. It simply makes her feel better in this chill coated night, at that point she'd take a seat and simply look up at the thing.
The warmth would accept the bugs around it as if they were guests on this cold night. However, the warmth wouldn't be contented just yet. It needed more to fall into its grasp so it would begin to expand. It would grow in size slowly going from 3 feet wide to 6 feet and then from 6 feet to twelve. The space it took up would begin to increase as if it had some sort of purpose. Suddenly the figure of a boy who would be familiar to Taylor would appear on scene although he'd stand far away from the object in question. His eyes began glowing even brighter than normal and yet there was a sense of absence on his face as if all thought in his head had truly ceased in a manner of speaking. Only the light seemed to remain in his eyes and was observing the warmth with great interest almost like a parent watching over a child.
Okay... The growing effect is rather strange, but her swarm doesn't seem to be getting harmed by it. Instead of freaking out just yet, she'd simply stand up and back away to avoid being in its path, along with keeping a closer than usual focus upon the bugs that are inside it. She'd absently take a "glance" around herself, bugs scouting out the area and allowing her to see, even as the girl simply stays near the object, upon noticing Meian however, Taylor would stand up and... Well, smiling wouldn't do any good with her mask on, but she'd still greet the boy. "Hi, um we met the other night at GYM right? You look pretty interested in that... Thingy? Um, do you have any idea what is is?"
The warmth would continue expanding taking in the bugs and filling them with comfort. The bugs were something the warmth would begin to understand just as they began to understand it but their understanding wasn't equal. From the red aura that the warmth had become small reddish insects would appear. They weren't quite insects though as Taylor understood them as she would find her powers unable to reach them. They would begin to form a swarm in the middle of the warmth as they simply stared at Taylor as if trying to understand something about her. Meian would slowly turn to look back at Taylor. Something was wrong with his eyes. They no longer held any feeling or thought but simply the light now. Meian finally would respond but his manner of speaking was much more clear than usual as if it wasn't truly him speaking. "I gave them thought. I gave them understanding. Now they will show if they know what to do with it. From the world where the concept of hot and cold take a very different meaning. That is where they ruled but now they find themselves hear in a more physical form. They try to grasp for form in this world where for is reality. It's curious but they are yet another child like this child who promised to keep me deep within."
She'd glance over at the red bugs... How curious, put in bugs, and it makes its own copies of them? And yet her power can't quite reach them, as if despite looking akin to insects they aren't quite the same thing. Either way, Taylor shrugs and turns back to other issues, for now, odd bugs aren't her biggest concern. Upon seeing Meian turn toward her, any thoughts of whatever may have happened to the members of her swarm is cut short, she'd instead cross her arms over her chest and stare at Meian with a wary stance, a few bugs would even take point in front of the girl. "You're kinda freaking me out, and you don't sound anything like normal either... Those eyes are wrong, what exactly is going on with you? And what's understanding mean? They're just bugs ya know, kinda not able to understand much of anything..." The girl trails off awkwardly, she's not entirely sure how to deal with something like this and it's clear just from her voice, an obvious unsureness fills the air around her. Though she's hoping that... Whatever this is, won't quite understand that.

The bug upon inspecting Taylor would try to form a more humanoid shape as if trying to mimic her shape. The strange red insects would buzz almost as if to form words but they would be unable to. Forming words was beyond their ability and yet they almost acted intelligent enough to possibly do so. Meian would still maintain an almost emotionless and neutral expression as his eyes were filled with more and more light. It was as if the light was possessing his being and that he perhaps was willingly let it do so. He would continue speaking but his manner of speaking was becoming more and more absolute in a sense as if there was a certain truth to his words that couldn't be denied. "They understand enough. The truth is the most important thing for them to understand. It is through the mere act of understanding that they have fulfilled the requirements. When embraced by light what do you think darkness understands? Is it even darkness anymore if filled with light? To be in the dark is a mystery and yet to embrace the light is the truth. What happens to darkness once it accepts the light? What happens to warmth once it acknowledges the cold?"
What does darkness understand... How can such a thing even do anything? Concepts don't think, that's like trying to say her powers have a mind of their own or something. Absurd, and yet after all she's seen here the girl has a hard time utterly writing anything off, thoughts of magic and other madness come to her mind... "What does darkness understand when embraced by light huh? I'm not darkness, but I guess it wouldn't even be darkness, such a thing is the absence of light isn't it? Simply by having light, doesn't it become more light..." For some reason though she gets the sense there's more to what he's saying than a simple thing like the difference between night and day. That perhaps these light and dark he speaks of are something greater, beyond the ideas she herself is familiar with and something more... Primal? Conceptual? Words are failing her at the moment, but light and dark, warmth and cold... It makes the girl want to know more if nothing else. She's still unsure, but as Taylor speaks up again she'd sound far more determined than before. "I don't quite know if I understand what you mean, but I do want to learn. These things are... Perhaps a bit beyond my current understanding, but it won't stop me from trying."
The warmth would continue to expand but this time it would specifically seem to be trying to reach Taylor. It would also avoid Meian as if they were something that repelled the warmth. It was as if Taylor had something the warmth wanted. It lacked understanding and only she had the knowledge it yearned for. Meian would finally turn away from Taylor and look back towards the swarm now culminating within the warmth. His voice now entirely not his own but belonging to something much...more. It was as if the light itself was speaking now and only using Meian as a convenient point for it to communicate through. "Yes, you are correct. Darkness loses that which makes it dark and becomes apart of the light but darkness never fully becomes one with light itself. Once the light fades it will become darkness once more. The same could be said for warmth. It wants to stay warm but the world wants it to become cold so it will constantly try to take that away from it and warmth can do nothing to fight back against it but what if...warmth was aware of what the world was doing and could try to fight back? What if warmth became sentient towards what it was and could always stay warm?"
Warmth that lives... Meian is that, isn't he? He is to light, as this idea is to warmth, the fear of the dark suddenly makes so much sense to her... Despite that, the warmth dashing toward the girl is a bit frighting for her, still... Her swarm lived through it, so she'll take a chance and allow the warmth to engulf her. She'd glance over toward "Meian" once more, the swarm that hovered between them taking its place above Taylor's head again. "It'd be quite interesting, wouldn't it? A question though, that's what the boy you're speaking through is right? Not warmth, but rather he's light? If so... I can't deny being curious how that'll go. And if I'm right, is this warmth an attempt to make something else like him?" She can't help "staring" at the boy through her bugs, even as Taylor looks toward the warmth that's covering her, dozens of tiny eyes watching "Meian" would allow her to see him just as well. For some reason, she's a bit entranced with the whole thing... Something so far beyond her understanding, and yet there's almost odd sense of it being familiar as well, like some small bit of herself actually knows what's going on here, a bit she herself doesn't even quite know is real... Or more likely, she's just going insane.
The warmth would engulf Taylor allowing her to feel comfortable. She would feel as though she never wanted to leave the warmth as the cold was so much harsher and full of hate. The warmth provided a shelter from the cold. It wanted to keep the cold away so that it may always be warm. The red insects from before would fall out of their swarm and become just that. Nothing more than insects now with no will or mind of their own. Taylor's power would now reach them but she would find nothing within them save for a minor affinity for warmth. In the center of the warmth, a new being would emerge. An almost humanoid being with a reddish tone to their skin. They would take on a more feminine form but their form would be unique and their own. It was almost like they copied the idea of what Taylor was under the suit but added their own sentience into the style of what the person was. The being would emerge flames in her eyes and lightly wrapped within a simple suit made of the warmth with a deep crimson hue. She would stare at Taylor unsure of what to make of the being standing before her. Meian would still be watching but the light in their eyes had begun to fade. The voice was weakening but still would find a simple message before returning the boy to his state of mind. "Darkness sees the light and grows entranced by it. It becomes changed as it now knows the light. Dark becomes light but it never truly forgets its place as darkness though it may try to reject the darkness. Even embracing the light, the dark is the ideal container for the light..." Finally, Meian would return to himself as thought filled their eyes. They would look around confused as to what was happening before them.
Taylor just looks at the being formed from her own image for a moment... Dear god it's like a human now, give or take a few bits but wow that's entirely too close. Of more concern to her at the moment, however, is Meian. Dark is best for holding light, and suddenly she's got a decent idea of what he is... Maybe, either way, Taylor would move toward the boy and wave a bit, hopefully, she can explain what's going on without too much trouble. "Um, hey there... You look a bit lost, right? Not quite sure you'd recall me, but uh good to see you again I guess. Anyway, do you have any idea what brought you out here?" She's not sure exactly, but it'd be nice to figure out where exactly into this little tale that other took over... Then there's the newly formed one to think about, what on earth has Taylor gotten herself into this time? Jeez, she's better at fighting gangsters than dealing with this, at least people with guns makes sense.
The being made form warmth would slowly begin approaching Taylor as it stares at her with some sort of interest. It wasn't sure what she was just as much as she wasn't sure of what it was. It had an idea of what she was made of but that didn't allow it to truly understand her or her existence. Meian would simple continue looking dazed as he looked back with a still confused expression. His pattern of speech would go back to sounding almost alien and foreign. "The light called me here. I remember it guiding me and then it enveloped me. Before that, someone gave me a name, Prometheus. I'm not sure what it means but it is satisfactory."
