"Ooh, that was close! But your form is good!" Daichi catches the ball as it bounces off the ground. "I can tell you know what you're doing, and we kinda need some more members, so welcome to the team! We tend to practice every day after school, but since some of us get swamped with homework, it's mostly on a come-whenever-you-want basis. So basically, practice is optional, but still make an effort to come!"
Tarsha nods quietly. The words of encouragement calm her down a bit. Mei chatters about some stuff she found online, like some videos of ghost hunters. A few of the other members seem skeptical, but the line of conversation takes an interesting turn...
"So you can contact ghosts on a... Weegee board, right?"
"Ouija board."
"That sounds kind of fun. You put your wingtip on a thing and it moves to the letters, right?"
"Noburu, you have one, right?"
"Of course." The dragoon pigeon walks over to a box in the corner, opening it and taking out a wooden board with various letters. "I haven't taken this out in months..."
"Well, he hired a tutor to teach me since he's a very busy bird, so I suppose he indirectly did so," Takeshi says after a slight pause in the music. Realizing the lack of music, he continues. "Sorry, got distracted there. Speaking of family, what's yours like?"
