Hatoful Nexus: In Which Birds are Dated
St. Pigeonation's. One of the most prestigious high schools one could attend. After it got pulled into the Nexus, it decided to welcome some "exchange students" into its classes. And that's where our story begins...
You find yourself in front of a tall building. The schoolyard has been mowed recently, and sunlight gleams off the school's windows. It's a bit early, so the hustle and bustle of students isn't around yet.
Fucidin looks around the school and takes it all in. Breathing the freshly cut grass and feeling the heat of the sun on his clothes, it was a good day! Welp! Here's day one to my new school! Hopefully it won't end in disaster! Fucidin then walks up to the entrance enters the building! Here we go!
A young schoolgirl waves back and forth in front of the building, her last school had been kinda empty since some of her friends left, so when she heard of this chance to switch schools, Sayaka leapt for it. After taking a deep breath of freshly mowed lawn, Sayaka walks in, glancing around nervously
[Entering the school is a brown haired man with a strange fashion style. He's confused to why he's still in school even though he's 18 years old but shrugs it off.] "Let's just hope that this 'first day' goes OK."
(edited by Joseph-Joestar)
Inside the building is a nice tile floor, with the... erm... students walking around to their lockers. I say students, but they're also birds. Larger than normal, and chattering to each other by their lockers in whatever everyone speaks in the Nexus, but still birds. "Oh! There they are!" A mourning dove with a pink flower clip in her head feathers heads over to the new arrivals, holding her books in her wings. "You're the transfer students for the program, right?"
PJ enters the school, despite never having to go to school, at least I don't think he's had to. He looks very tired as always. "Is even the right school? Bah, who cares..." He yawns.
CRASHING! CRASHING! CRASHING! *Aria comes out of the sky and crashes into the school before falling back to the ground. Her spears bounce across the floor, meeting her in her landing spot.* Owwww... ??? (Comms): That looked like it hurt.
[Seeing the oversized dove shocked Joseph a bit since he has never seen a bird that large before, but he tries to act normal.] "Umm, I guess so... " [Joseph looks over to the other transfer students then looks back to the bird.]
Sayaka was... Surprised to see the student body, yet the name suddenly makes more sense now. The dove somewhat surprises Sayaka, leading to her jumping for a moment, after getting her bearings, Sayaka glances at the other transfers before nodding her head Y... Yeah. My name's Sayaka Miki, and I'm a transfer student here. Its a pleasure to meet you Sayaka smiles and extends her right hand towards the dove to offer a handshake
Fucidin gets a little excited to meet some new people and walks up to the mourning dove without realizing its a bird until it's too late Yep! That's us! The name is Fucidin Fuun! It's nice to meet yo- WAIT! Fuci takes a step back as he takes a deep breath. Are these... Birds? He knew this place was weird but he didn't expect birds to be in school! Looking back at his companions to see their reactions. Surprised they aren't more afraid and composing himself. S-sorry! I just... Didn't expect you to be a bird?
"A pleasure to meet you as well! I'm Aina Kimura, the student council president at this school." Aina shakes Sayaka's hand with her wing cheerfully. She flinches at Aria's sudden arrival. "Are... you okay? Do I have to call the school doctor?" "And that's to be expected, Fucidin-kun. It's been a while since we accepted humans into the school."
(edited by Hundred-S)
PJ doesn't seem too concerned that the other people except a few are birds, because to be fair, he is friends with a rapping dog back in his world. He approaches Aina. "I am at the right school, correct?"
[Joseph didn't really mind that most of the students here are birds by now, so he just stayed normal unlike the other transfer students.] "Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself. Ugh, where are my manners... I'm Joseph Joestar, but you can just call me JoJo."
Oww. I'm... Ok. I've... ah... been through worse. That's gonna bruise. Ah ha ha... *Aria slowly get's up. She staggers backwards slightly as she get's to her feet. Her spears raise back into the air and Aria climbs back onto the largest of them, lying down on it, being supported by two of her smaller spear* See. Perfectly fine and ready to... do whatever the hell I'm here for. Oooowwww...
Aina nods slowly, taking a second to even figure out what PJ is. That's only a small bump in her cheerful demeanor, though. "You should be! Either way, I want to introduce this school to as many students as possible! That's why I volunteered to give you all a tour. Whenever you're ready, follow me! ...Although we should probably still stop by the infirmary first..."
(edited by Hundred-S)
Fuci scratches the back of his head as he responds to the bird, laughing kinda awkwardly Hehe! Even so it was pretty rude! Hopefully I can make it up to you! Fucidin then starts to think to himself about the complications of a school of birbs before somebody crashes through the window. First day and chaos is already rampant! Gah! S-spears? Why do you have those? This is a school! *Fuci then takes a deep breath before returning to Aina, A tour huh? I suppose that can't hurt. Lead the way!
(edited by Fucidin_Fuun)
Oh, a tour you say? Sayaka grins and scratches the back of her head, briefly glancing around at the other transfers, she's met two of them before, which is a bit of a relief at least, regardless, Sayaka jumps and pumps her fist So, when are we getting started?
[Joseph thought of many questions regarding this school, but he thought that he'd might as well ask one of them just so that he can get it off of his mind. He crosses his arms while looking at Aina.] "Excuse me, but I have a quick question before we start the tour. What foods do they serve for lunch here?"
[Meanwhile in a nearby alleyway, a young woman simply leans back against a wall and looks toward the school with a bored expression on her face.] "A school huh... How'd that letter get to me anyway, well maybe I'll check it out eventually, but I sure as hell ain't gonna attend high school again." [For now, Shiki simply walks off while twirling a knife in her right hand. Now and then she'd look back at the school, but this isn't the time for such things... Maybe she'll find someone else interesting here though, that Senri girl certainly fit the bill, so perhaps this "Nexus" isn't without hope. Either way, for now she wanders off, and vows to come back in search of people to speak with, or perhaps kill, later.]
A really cool bird is grinding on a rail all over the school, being really cool. The bird eventually passes by the new people and waves. They can tell that there is something really cool about him.
(edited by really_cool_bird)
Aina waves back at the really cool bird, then leads everyone down the hall. "The cafeteria serves things from seeds to bread, although we have things humans will definitely like. Unlike the less advanced birds of the Nexus, we enjoy things such as tea. Anyway..." She points at a small store with some items set out. "That's the school store. You'll find things from pencils to nesting materials there!" Aina turns down a hall and points at one of the doors. "This'll be your classroom. Mr. Tsukuda's your homeroom teacher. And farther down is the infirmary, so if you get hurt or sick, head there right away! I've heard the doctor there's much nicer than the one we used to have..."
Fuci follows along quietly, surprised at how sophisticated the school was. Looks like even birds had a good education system! Eventually when they reach the classroom Fuci speaks up again Well this place is certainly nice! This is gonna be great! I suppose we should meet the teacher now? Would be weird not to introduce ourselves!
[Joseph was somewhat surprised about what the school served at the cafeteria, because he thought that they would only have foods that are exclusive to birds. He ignored the explanation about the school shop, because he already knew what any typical school shop had. Finally, Joseph peered into the classroom as the group reached it, trying to see what's in it.] "Hmm, well this school seems nice. It's at least better than the ones in America..."
*Aria sits up on her spears.* Wait, I'm a student here? Is that why I came here? Umm... ??? (Comms): Play along. Hmm. Okey Dokey. Birds are supposed to be forgetful. So, I'll make tons of birdlike mistakes. Heh heh.
PJ follows, he's hoping that the cafeteria perhaps has donuts. Upon reaching the classroom, PJ simply asks the real question. Would the teacher be fine with me sleeping in class? I need to make sure I'm rested up for my night job.
Sayaka follows along, a spring in her step as she makes sure to stay ahead of her other transferees, overall it was all kinda normal, when you consider that most of the students are birds anyways, the cafeteria and store somewhat remind her of school back home in fact. Sayaka smiles as she follows along, naturally, Sayaka takes the chance to ask So what was the old doctor like then?
"Certainly, let's head in! Although I've heard he can be a bit strict... but don't tell him I said this, but you might get away with sleeping if he gets too passionate during teaching. And the old doctor.. well... he was fired after a certain... incident. But don't worry about sleeping in class, or any of the rumors." Aina winks at PJ, then opens the door, revealing a white pigeon with splatters of black feathers. He seems immersed in his papers. Aina coughs. "Um, Mr. Tsukuda, the new students are here!" He looks up, narrowing his eyes at everyone for a moment, then looks back at his papers. "Tell them I'm busy with the lesson plan." Cold...
(edited by Hundred-S)
[Joseph blankly stares at his new teacher before whispering to Aina.] "Um, is he always like that?"
How. Mr Tsukoyomi is kind of an ass. I can tell he gives people unnecessary Fs a lot.
Aina whispers back. "Kind of. Just... don't get on his bad side. He's okay once you get to know him. I don't know much about parlor rollers, so I can't say if they're all like that..."
... Eh..? Fuci stands around as he waits for a response, with how cold the teacher was it was going to be tough to acclimate to the new atmosphere... Uh, I suppose we should let him be? If you'll excuse us? Fuci then takes a step back and out of the classroom, turning to Aina and looking around Er, shouldn't we get going? Don't want to be a bother after all! Hehe!
[Joseph whispers again in a sarcastic voice.] "Well it seems that he's going to be a fun teacher..."
PJ squints at Aina. He's confused at the fact that they winked at him, but he just brushes it off after a while of squinting at her. He's not sure if he should question it or not, maybe he will later. "Wow, what an amazing teacher..."
(edited by PJ_Berri)
Sayaka sighs looking around at her... Fellow transferees. Gee, its almost like none of them have been to a school before, with a sigh, Sayaka approaches mister Tsukuda with a smile So very sorry to disturb you sir. Sayaka leans in a little, holding her schoolbag behind her back as she does so My name's Sayaka Miki, like Aina said, we're the newest transfers. Glad to meet you sir. With that, Sayaka extends her hand to the teacher, completely unwavering even as her companions shrink back
"Well... since Mr. Tsukuda's busy, I'll tell you about the rest of the building since class will be starting in a while! The library's on the second floor, and there's a gym as well as a swimming pool in this school! We even have a track for sports. Okosan was the name of the last Track Team captain, I believe..." Aina shrugs, then steps out of the room. "That's all I got! I have a few things to take care of, so feel free to look around the school! Just get back before class starts!" Mr. Tsukuda stares at Sayaka's hand for a moment, wondering what to do, then just settles for shaking it with his wing. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, miss Miki. I look forward to teaching most of you." He gives Aria a look as he says this.
(edited by Hundred-S)
[Joseph walks away from the doorway and in to the middle of the hall. He turns to Aina once he does so.] "That was a fairly nice tour. Now one more thing, could you direct me to the bathroom? I've been trying to hold it in since I got here."
Okosan? That's his name? Isn't that an honorific? How strange... Welp! I'm sure hes a great person! Thanks for taking time out of your day to show us around! Fuci then smiles and waves as he exits the class, opting for the library, he needed a place to calm down after all this ruckus.
*Aria opts to fly into the classroom and take a seat, somehow immediately falling asleep. Her spears impale themselves in the floor around her desk.* Niiiight. ??? (Comms): How does she do that? Lotta practice.
PJ debates whether or not to follow Aina to ask them a question about the whole winking thing, but instead opts to sit down with his back against the wall and... Sleep.
Sayaka glances back at Aria as she heads out, kinda odd that the teacher would single her out like that, but Sayaka's sure she'll catch up to it at some point. For now, she grins and waves at Mr. Tsukuda as she walks out the classroom door I'll see you again soon, sorry to cut it so short. Since Sayaka doesn't know the way around yet, she decides to try finding the gym, those are usually pretty centrally located, so it shouldn't be hard to find her way to and from it if needed, plus they're a pretty common hangout spot
"Down the hall and to the right. Anyway, I'll be in the student council room if you need anything!" Aina flutters off... Fucidin enters the library, immediately noticing a lone dragoon pigeon. He seems to be immersed in some cards laid out on the table. Sayaka enters the gym. A few rock doves and even a homing pigeon are playing a casual game of basketball.
(edited by Hundred-S)
[Joseph waves to Aina as she flutters away from the group.] "I'll see you soon! Oh, also thanks for the directions. Now then..." [Joseph then takes the same directions that Aina told him to take in order to get to the bathroom.]
As Fucidin enters the Library he closes the door behind him and drops to the floor, closing his eyes for a second before opening them, tough first day! After a second he walks over to the pigeon at the table and observers quietly, trying to figure out what he was doing before speaking Hm...
Especially since she's so new here, there's no real need to hesitate, otherwise Sayaka might never make an impression, so Sayaka approaches the birds playing basketball and, for now watches from the sidelines, sitting on the bleachers and using her arms to prop up her head for a little more comfort
*Aria continues to sleep, mumbling something and waiting for the teacher to take notice.*
The bathroom seems ordinary enough. A rock pigeon with a towel around his neck seems to be washing his face in the sink. The dragoon pigeon looks up from the cards, which are decorated with symbols of birds and have numbers on them. "Oh, are you here for a reading from the Great Noburu? Sorry, but the Occult Club's services aren't available this early..." The pigeons seem to be playing well despite their lack of hands. The homing pigeon is doing especially well, weaving between a pair of birds to toss the ball into the hoop. The teacher glares at Aria, but tries his best to focus on his work again. "Please ring soon..."
(edited by Hundred-S)
[Joseph enters the bathroom, not even takin the time to at least say hello to the bird near the sink. He walks up to one of the urinals and does his buisiness while whistling a catchy tune.]
PJ wakes up, he did overhear that Aina would be at the student council room so he makes his way over to the student council room. Of course it took quite a bit of time due to not knowing the layout of the school. Here's to hoping I'm not wasting the time I could spend sleeping instead.
Occult..? No no no! I'm not here for that! I just kinda wanted a place to calm down! Fuci then takes a seat opposite of the bird and looks at the cards in more detail, picking one up to examine in detail before placing it back down The name is Fucidin! I'm kinda interested in what your doing here! Mins explaining it to me? Hopefully it isn't luck based! I don't do well with those!
Watching the game from the sidelines, Sayaka decides the best way to join in would be to cheer, so Sayaka shouts, making sure to add a hint of excitement to her voice Yeah, that was awesome, go for it! and other generic lines, for now the important thing is to be friendly
*Aria looks up to see if the teacher is paying attention before going back to pretending to sleep.*
"No, not just luck. Fate decides what the tarot cards tell me. That card you picked up... The Star. So your future in this school seems hopeful to you..." Noburu chuckles. "Of course, that's not a proper reading, but it seems fate let you choose that card over others." In the student council room, only Aina is there. She seems to be cleaning the whole place, even though nobody will be there until after school. She's so focused she doesn't notice PJ. The rock pigeon stares himself down in the mirror intently. He seems to be psyching himself up for something. The homing pigeon sinks another basket. One of the players points out the time, and they all disperse, except the homing pigeon walks up to Sayaka. "Someone was pretty excited. Love the energy! The basketball team usually doesn't get this many people watching this early... or any at all." The teacher seems really busy. Or is at least pretending to be.
(edited by Hundred-S)
*Aria, annoyed, get's out of her seat and flies down behind the teacher.* Whatcha doing?
Sayaka of course, failed to notice the time, instead focusing on the homing pigeon in front of her. The girl grins before leaning back where she sits Yeah, I've never been much of a player myself, but I always enjoyed coming to watch at my old school. Course, I'm one of the transfers, though, I guess that might be kinda obvious Its almost like Sayaka's trying not to bring attention to the whole.. Different species thing, but whether or not its working is.... Up to debate Anyways, my name's Sayaka Miki, and I look forward to seein' you and the others around a bit more. With that, Sayaka stands up and extends her hand for a handshake, grinning widely all the while
Ah geez, luck and fate. Not exactly my specialty! Fucidin then widens his eyes when he does get his card answered, so this guy must be a fortune teller! It made sense now! The Star huh? Well I have high hopes! Maybe I am getting lucky or fate is being kind! From what I gather you like tarot cards? Hehe! I'll have to get you to read my fortune then! I remember getting one read in a dream by a long nosed man! It was pretty trippy, hopefully you can do better!
[Joseph zips up his pants and walks over to one of the sinks, taking off his right glove and washing his right hand. He looks over to the rock pigeon while doing so.] "Oh, I didn't notice you there. You seem tense about something."
PJ "raises" his voice. and by that I mean he talks slightly louder. Hey, uh, I have a question, miss.
"...Working." Said teacher seems very annoyed. He seems to be looking at today's history lesson. "Just call me Daichi." The homing pigeon shakes her hand with a wing. "I'm on the school's basketball team, although it's a bit small compared to other schools." "A long-nosed man? How curious..." Noburu thinks for a minute. "Oh? You again?" Aina drops her duster. "Sorry about the slight mess." "A-ah, sorry! Just thinking about a track meet after school..." The rock pigeon laughs nervously. "Sorry if I bothered you! I get lost in-" The bell cuts him off. Time to head to class... Ending here because dinner. Nite.
(edited by Hundred-S)
Sounds good! Continue some other time!
Ooc: Okay, goodnight.
[Day 1 has started. Remember that your actions may open up routes or stick you on paths you are aware of.] "Okay, class, settle down." Mr. Tsukuda smooths down his black-flecked feathers and stands at the front of the class. "Those human and... bear... transfer students will be joining us today, but please don't be disruptive. This class will go on as usual. Got it?" The class agrees in unison. The parlor roller, satisfied, adjusts his reading glasses as he flips open the history textbook at his desk...
hearing the bell, Sayaka bows apologetically and waves before running back to class Oh.. geeze, sorry for keeping you. I... Make sure to talk again sometime, alright? With that, Sayaka of course returns to class, a few minutes late. Bad impression to make on the first day, but it is what it is
Yep! A long-nosed man! Do you know of an- ah! the bell! I'll catch you later! See you around! Fuci then gets up and excuses himself from the library and heads back to class, hopefully the Teacher is a little warmer now that class is actually in session! It's going to be rough learning with such cold stares!
[Entering the classroom while pulling down his right glove is Joseph. He casually strolls to his desk, surveying the other students in the classroom. He sits in his seat, putting his schoolbag on the back of his chair.]
PJ hears the bell. "Oh uh, I guess I should head to class, I'll talk to you afterwards." PJ doesn't rush to class, so he'll probably be late.
[The woman who'd walked after a while ago comes back, there's a few bruises and scratch marks covering her face at this point, a disheveled look about her would clearly give the idea she's been in a fight not too long ago. Clashing quite a bit with the elegant blue kimono she wears. Either way, Shiki wanders into the building and looks around curiously, for now, she simply wanders the halls and heads off toward the center of the building. No real goal in mind, beyond observing closely as she walks.]
Mr. Tsukuda's gaze has slight disapproval in it as the students walk in, but he doesn't seem too upset. Perhaps he understands that being late was inevitable considering the tour. "Anyway... open your books up to chapter 8. After today's lesson, we'll be discussing club opportunities, since a few of you may be interested." Shiki notices a white bird with a red patch on its chest fly onto a tree outside. The tiny bird tilts its head at her curiously. Down the hall, she can hear the clicking of claws on tile...
[Joseph reaches behind him and opens his backpack, taking out the book that he was told to take out. He rapidly flips through the pages.] "...let's see......here we are." [Joseph stops flipping through the pages once he reaches chapter 8, examining the page.]
Fuci listens in intently, however when he realizes he doesn't have a book he looks around for a classmate next to him, whispering while covering his mouth to make sure he isn't heard Er, sorry to bother you but can I borrow your book? I don't think I got one!
PJ actually takes out the book and starts flipping pages. "Alright... chapter 8..." He stops on chapter 8, he's mainly staying awake because there might be a club he'd consider joining.
Sayaka bows apologetically before searching for her seat, once she finds it, Sayaka makes haste to sit down, setting her school bag to the side and searching for the overly-large history book, before flipping through its pages to chapter 8. Sayaka notably spends more time looking at the other students, as though trying to guess about them, than actually reading the text
* Aria wakes up, looks around the classroom, shrugs and goes back to sleep.*
[Shiiki would shrug and look toward the bird, hmm... Might as well go check it out, assuming it's staring at her through a window, the woman would crack it open and casually leap from it with a running start. Her speed would best be described as inhuman as she reaches out for a tree branch with her right hand, aiming to grab on it and pull herself up, the impact might hurt a human hand... Thankfully for her, this one isn't. Assuming it worked, she'd give the small a bird a curious look as her legs dangle from the tree.] "Sup, haven't seen any birds like you around before. Though I won't lie, I'm no expert... Still, something about you seems kinda off I guess? Like you're hiding something below that seemingly normal look? Eh, maybe I'm just being silly." [For some reason she doubts that very much, there's something in this being that almost reminds her of herself... Perhaps not exactly the same, but a hidden nature seems likely. Or she's just projecting. Also possible.]
The homing pigeon from before is looking at the text, which seems to be about the Dove and Hawk parties (whatever that means) with mild boredom. A few desks away, the rock dove Joseph met is staring at the book intently, although something tells anyone watching closely that he isn't focused on the lesson at all... "O-oh, yeah, sure." The rock dove slides his book over so Fucidin can read it.
...? The bird doesn't flinch at all at the human's actions. It flutters down onto the branch she's on and gives one of her hands a curious peck. It seems more curious and confused than scared.
Fuci thanks the bird as he stares down the page, Dove and Hawks? Weren't those bird species? He guesses that birds learning about themselves wasn't too far fetched, eventually drifting away from the lesson. Propping the book up as a wall as he whispers to the rock dove behind it So! What's your name? I suppose this lesson is gonna take quite a while so why don't we pass the time with some talk!
[Joseph just silently folds his hands and keeps reading the page, casually looking around the room from time to time.]
[Shiki would simply allow it to peck at her hand. It's not really setting off her combat instinct or anything, so for now she just stares at the thing.] "Not much of a talker then? Well that's fine, I still think there's more than meets the eye though."
PJ almost falls asleep, but he stops himself. He then whispers to himself... "Can this go any slower?..."
So there is someone she recognizes here, aside from her other transferees, that's somewhat of a relief, especially since she seemed on good terms with Daichi. Regardless, somewhat relieved, Sayaka focuses on the text a bit more, looks like its over some kinda political junk. Not really her speed, but there's little else to do for the moment
The gist of the lesson seems to be about the two parties and their stance on humans. The Doves wish to coexist, while the Hawks are opposed to them due to their actions during a certain war... "Um... sure, I guess," the rock dove whispers back. He still seems kind of nervous. "What's your name? I'm Rin... n-not a very fancy name, but it's mine." The minutes tick by as the teacher drones on...
Well, I didn't know what to say. I've never seen a human do that before. The tiny bird speaks, looking up at her. Its voice is as insignificant in strength as its tiny body, but there's definitely a sharp mind in that feathery head. Who are you? Why are you hurt?
Certainly sounds like history, talking about a bunch of old guys disagreeing with each other, though the war sounds like it might be kinda cool. Unbeknownst to Sayaka her eyes slowly start drifting closed
*Aria wakes up again and leans back in her chair.* Is the lesson over yet? ??? (Comms): No. Awww. *Aria slams her head on the table and then immediately recoils in pain* Ow! Bad idea. Bad idea.
"Hm.." [Joseph seemed quite interested about the lesson, he was curious about what war was responsible for ticking the Hawks off in the first place so he kept reading to find an answer to that.]
Rin huh? Don't worry about your name! I think it's fine! Mine is Fucidin Fuun, if anything my name is bad! My last name is literally bad luck! Fuci then laughs a little before getting quiet and peeking at the teacher, checking to see if he's noticed before continuing So Rin, is it your first day or what? You seem pretty on edge!
PJ can't handle the boringness, he tries to not to fall asleep, but he fails. His face audibly crashes into the book.
"Well, no, that is- er, I have a pretty big race today... I always get nervous before them," Rin explains. The tell-tale thump of students collapsing from a wave of boredom nearly causes him to fall out of his seat in surprise. Joseph jumps back a chapter to find out about this. There's not much, probably due to being something widely-known in this world, but it mentions something about a bird flu and the collapse of humanity... The bell finally rings, waking up some of the students that managed to sneak a nap.
PJ wakes up due to the bell. "Eh? What happened?"
of course the bell brings Sayaka's attention back to reality, causing her to lift her head, this is the time Sayaka's most interested in, naturally, about time to learn what clubs she might be interested in, its always important to choose something you love in order to meet people with the same interest
Well, that was boring. Make your lessons more engaging next time, teach. Laters! *Aria flies out of the classroom heading towards the cafeteria. Her spears dislodge themselves from the ground and follow her, leaving 4 holes in the classroom floor.*
Fuci gets suprised that this person was a racer, he didn't seem like the type! Pretty jumpy and shy, but maybe that was just the axiety making him do it! Oh I see! When is it happening? I would love to watch! I didn't expect a race on my first day here! The bell then rings and Fuci gets up, taking what little he had with him and waving to Rin Ah! Catch you later alright? We can chat soon! Fuci then exits the class, and checks the time, before running to the school store, let's make sure we don't repeat the same mistake! Clubs didn't necessarily interest him, so off he goes!
"Wow..." [Upon hearing the bell ring, Joseph closes his book, puts it in his bag, stands up, and gets ready to exit the classroom with his bag on his back.]
[Shiki chuckles a bit, no most humans don't do things like that after all. She's not really like most humans anymore though, so such reactions to her have simply become normal.] "Ah, yeah I'm a bit different from your normal types yeah... I guess you could say I'm just different from what anything "should" be, ya know?" [She'd smirk upon hearing the second question, hurt? Hah, those idiots didn't know what hit them by the time she got done.] "Name's Shiki Ryougi, and as for why I'm hurt? Well... I kinda stumbled into some less than savory types making a deal, they weren't too fond of me poking around. Don't worry though, I gave those guys a lesson they won't forget... Well, I hope they don't forget anyway." [Just a band of punks of course, not worth killing or anything. But a good thrashing is always fun to dish out if nothing else. Even so, it'll only keep her entertained for so long.]
one last update before food break Mr. Tsukuda mentions the various opportunities, such as the student council, track team, basketball team... but there's also a chance to work in the library or the infirmary, or even join a student-run club like the manga club or occult club. This is all said in a rush, because he soon dashes after Aria, yelling something about breaking school property. Behind the counter of the store is an African gray parrot. She's putting a few neon-colored pencils into a jar.
(edited by Hundred-S)
You beat up bad people? That's good. People like that shouldn't be around. They do bad things unless they're stopped. It's a simple observation, but there's still a strong meaning behind the little bird's words. It flutters its wings and lands on a higher branch. Are you one of the humans that came into the school? I saw some go inside earlier.
Meep Meep. *Aria spins around in midair to flash a double peace symbol at Tsukada and sticking her tongue out before flying off down the corridor at increased speeds. Her spears scatter in all directions, making it difficult to figure out where she was heading. Aria slips into the library to hide, her spears all eventually slipping in through windows and doors to meet her.* Heh heh. Now then. What am I doing here again? ??? (Comms): Amadeus Oh yeah. He's not here. Guarantee it. He's smarter than to come to the most obvious place in the Nexus to hide. Sam could have told you that if he wasn't messing around in whatever multi universe thing he's in with Mar Mar. ??? (Comms): YOU could have mentioned that before. I crashed. *Aria giggles innocently. The voice behind her Comms sighs.*
[Joseph thought about the different clubs for a moment. He thought he could be useful on the track team due to his "Secret Joestar Technique," but he also thought that playing basketball would be quite interesting for him. He decides to just think about it for now and walk into the hallway.]
(edited by Joseph-Joestar)
There's not much time between now and her next class, but hearing the opportunities, sounds like it'll be fun, after school that is, when most clubs meet. For now, Sayaka decides to wander the halls, looking to see who else is around. Of course she'd steadily get closer to the next class, wouldn't want to be late again
Since class is over, he decides to go back to the student council room. "Here we go again."
As Fuci draws near the store waves to the grey bird and checks his wallet for cash, not finding much, hopefully, it's enough for whatever he needs, gulping and walking up to the counter Uh hello? Hi there! Could you possibly tell me what I need for my classes? I kinda forgot to grab my things before I went to school! Unlucky huh? So! What have you got for me?
[Bad, good, those aren't really things Shiki worries over. From her standpoint, it's just about testing herself and having some fun with it anyway.] "That's not exactly the point for me... But yeah you could say that, I fight because it's enjoyable to me. From my views, I'd call the dealing with bad guys part a good side effect." [Humans who came in... She did get a letter, but she's not really the school type so she's got no plans to actually attend the place.] "As for that, I guess I ended up here the same time. But I'm mostly just exploring, not planning to actually be a student here or anything, how bout you?"
As usual, Aina is there, checking up on the room. She waves to PJ. "Oh, you again? Were you interested in joining the student council?" Escaping from the history teacher of doom, Aria gets a strange look from the librarian. A few other students studying here look up at the noise, including a dragoon pigeon hunched over a bunch of cards. Besides the angry shouts of Mr. Tsukuda, there's not much of note in the halls. However, there's some noise coming from the music room, and birds can be seen running around the track outside. "Oh ho, of course! The front office told me to give this stuff to you." The parrot puts a few books on the counter. "Things got a little snagged in the system, since both you and a new bird student were admitted at the same time. I should get everything worked out soon!" [Should you go to your next class, it will become after school. Use this current time however you want.]
Enjoyable...? The tiny bird thinks about that for a minute. Anyway, maybe I could become a student, but I might be too small. Plus, people don't like being around me for some reason. Some even think I'm too dangerous to be flying around everywhere.
Sayaka of course overhears the sound, taking a deep breath, she focuses on the sound for a moment before deciding to visit the music room, she'd heard a lot of classical music before, so she at least isn't completely lost as she peeks her head inside and waves, silently of course, as it is rude to interrupt someone practicing
[Dangerous? Heh, so she was right then... She almost wants to see what kind of danger this little bird can conjure up, her blood's starting to boil just a bit even hearing about something like that.] "I see, well if you ever feel like showing off what kinda dangers you've got up your sleeve, I'm game for it! I prefer less than friendly battles for the most part, but I'd be up for a simple thing without any hard feelings if ya want." [Even when she's trying to be friendly for some reason, Shiki can't help but drift toward violence... Oh well, that works just fine for her.]
Fuci takes the bag of things and sorts through them all, checking that everything is there before responding, somewhat shocked that he would get mixed up with another bird Hmm? Another bird? Were there more transfer students than us? Oh, and thanks for your help! The name is Fucidin! What's yours?
Eh heh heh. Don't mind me. Just, erm, coming to... study stuff. Yep, definitely. *Aria pulls a random book off a random shelf and starts reading it, pretending to be interested in it as she starts slowly walking across the room.*
[Joseph decides to head down to the bathroom once more, because reasons...] *Sigh* "There may be lots to do in the school, but I don't feel like doing anything..."
Those in the library just choose to leave Aria alone for now. No need to make things more awkward. "Just call me Miss Kobayashi! Part-time school store helper, part-time cafeteria lady!" She laughs a little. "That's just a little joke. Anyway..." "Excuse me?" A black fantail pigeon approaches the counter. "The office told me to pick up my stuff here..." "Certainly! Here you go... Darsha, right?" Miss Kobayashi hands the bird her bag. Darsha bows in thanks. Joseph finds nothing of note. The class has ended here, but a white pigeon with a black head- a helmet pigeon- is still playing the piano. He elegantly glides over the keys, bringing the music to a soft conclusion.
What? You want to fight? The bird seems legitimately baffled. But those humans usually only fight me because they're afraid... Are you afraid of me? And I don't want to hurt you, since you don't deserve to be punished, I think...
Sayaka pauses for a moment, making sure the song is over, rather than just a brief rest, before walking into the room clapping You've been practicing quite a while, huh? Would you mind playing a little more? I only caught the end of it I'm afraid.
*As Aria reached the door, she put her book on a nearby table and left the library.* Well, that was awkward. ??? (Comms): If he's not here, leave. Don't wanna. *Aria starts heading towards the cafeteria again.*
Okay! Thank you then Miss Kobayashi! I'll be taking my leave then! Fuci then takes his things and steps away, noting Darsha and trying to sneak a look into the bag, perhaps there is something interesting? It could just be a book but his curiosity was gonna kill him!
PJ shakes his head. "No, uh, I wanted to ask about the whole, uh, winking thing." He scratches the back of his head. "I just wanted to know if it was, uh, what's a good word for it?... Friendly?"
(edited by PJ_Berri)
[Joseph heads in the bathroom and looks around, seeing nothing. He grins, letting out a small chuckle.] "This should be a fine place to practice my hamon..." [He drops his schoolbag on the ground and walks to the middle of the bathroom floor with a yellow energy pulsating from his right hand.]
[Shiki bursts out laughing and grins at the small creature, geez he's really not used to dealing with someone like her is he? Killing is fun to be sure, but she's not going to just fight to kill against someone who's done nothing to her... And scared, fear is a reason to fight, but not a good reason to fight.] "Nah, you've got it all wrong there! Fighting isn't just about fear or staying alive, a good battle is about feeling the blood rush through yourself, the adrenaline coursing through your veins, not for the sake of keeping from getting killed. But just the sake of itself, and sure sometimes that means killing somebody. That's fine too, but neither of us has any reason to kill the other, so it's not about that either here... More like a game than anything, ya know?" [There's a slight smile on the woman's face as she looks toward the bird, she'd reach into her jacket and draw a blade from the pocket. Twirling it about casually as she examines the tiny being.]
Hamon practice in the bathroom. A typical high school experience that we all must have. The helmet pigeon seems surprised, but shifts his startled jolt into a smooth turn to face Sayaka. "Oh, certainly. I should have enough time to do it again before the next class. Allow me..." He begins playing again, starting off slow then gradually rising in speed and intensity. This all comes naturally to him, and it's as if he's lost in the notes that flow out of the instrument. After a few minutes, this display ends, and he's silent for a moment. There's nobody in the cafeteria yet, save for a janitor. Fucidin sees books like his own in the bag. She was probably the other student Miss Kobayashi was talking about. "Ah, that." Aina nods, then thinks about how to phrase it. "It was just a wink after my friendly advice, that's all. I've been in Mr. Tsukuda's class before, so I figured I'd give you tips on sleeping in there. Of course, I've never done so, but you learn a lot from watching your classmates!"
There's a noticeable shift in the tiny bird's additude. Its wings spread a little as it adjusts its footing on the branch. Killing... as a game? But killing for no reason... He flies upwards. That's a terrible thing to do! He begins his assault, striking Shiki with... a tiny peck that's annoying at worst.
[Aww... Sounds like he didn't quite get what she's saying here. For now, she's simply going to ignore the pecks.] "Yeah, it is a terrible thing to do. End somebody's life is kind of a big deal, and you can only really murder once ya know? I'm not gonna lie, I've put some in the grave before, but that isn't a game even if there's enjoyment to be had from such battles." [Shiki would put the blade away for now, no need to appear more dangerous as she goes into a topic like this one.] "Fighting can be a game, but killing never is. See, those two things aren't really the same, you do know that right?"
Sayaka sighs, letting the music take her back home, if only for a moment, she's probably heard this piece before, though not on the piano, the tune might sound somewhat familiar. Sayaka stares wistfully at a wall for a few moments, hardly seeming to notice that the bird stopped playing
Well, that's lame. Bored now. ??? (Comms): FInally. *Aria opens a window and jumps out of it before taking off and flying into the unknown. Somewhere, right now, she is crashing.*
Ah, so Darsha was her name! That made sense! Fuci then steps away and waits a little while until she's finished, when she is done Fuci approaches the other girl and offers a hand Hello there! The name's Fucidin! I think you are new as well? Hopefully, we can get along!
"Zoom punch!" [Joseph punches the air with his arm seeming to inhumanly extend when he punches.]
PJ nods and sighs in relief. "Ah, alright, gotcha. I don't need anything else now so I'll get going." He leaves the student council room and just wanders around.
"Sorry, it seems I got dazed again. I apologize." The helmet pigeon bows, then grabs his bookbag. "I'm sadly out of time, but I'll probably be here after school. Takeshi Hayashi, a pleasure to meet you." He rushes out of the room to get to his next class before the bell. The black fantail looks at his hand for a moment, then puts her right wing in in, as if she's not entirely sure what to do. "That's a nice name. It's comforting to see someone new like me..." Her voice is soft. Maybe she's a bit shy, or just reserved. "I think I'm in your class. We should walk back together..." [For the sake of time, we shall transition to after school. At this time, you can participate in activities and clubs, search for birds you know, or just go home.] Much later, the last bell rings...
(edited by Hundred-S)
That's enough to calm the bird down, or at least stop his pecking. Oh.. that makes... sense I guess? Not sure what to do, he flutters onto the roof. Poor guy has a lot to think about. He doesn't seem very interested in conversation now.
The manage- er, narrator must get ready to sleep. I am tired, too. Pecking and flying is hard work.
Takeshi snaps Sayaka out of her own daze, causing her to briefly shake her head before she notices him speeding out of the room, Sayaka waves after him and shouts My name's Sayaka Miki, it was nice to meet you too With that, Sayaka would head to her next class, it was a small, chance meeting, but a pleasant one nonetheless Time skip to after school, Sayaka briefly considers leaving straight afterwards, she glances down at her ring, after all, there's a job to be done, but soon shakes her head, hopefully it can wait. Sayaka briefly considers heading to the manga club meeting room, but ultimately decides to go to the music room, Takeshi should be there after all OOC: Looks like we'll all have our post ready for you tomorrow BB, good luck sweet gato
(edited by Sayaka_Miki)
Fucidin smiles back as he listens to the bird as they walk down to their class, mostly in a daze through the block until he leaves the room for a bit when it's over, Fuci looks around again. trying to find that bird he just talked to. Where could Darsha be.. (Sounds good! Nighto!)
(edited by Fucidin_Fuun)
[After training for I guess about a few hours, Joseph stops training upon hearing the bell ring.] "It looks like school's over for the day. Hmm, what to do... Maybe I could sign up for that basketball club." [Joseph picks up his bag and exits the bathroom, trying to find the gymnasium.]
Ooc: Got it, goodnight... again.
PJ simply goes home, he's gotta make sure he's ready for his night job. If he can even find a club that wants a DJ that is. OOC: Goodnight, then.
[Shiki would leave the small bird, leaping down off the tree and landing with a roll before walking back into the school... Hmm, where should she go from here? She's not really sure on anyone around here, so the girl picks a random direction and walks. She'd go for the center of the place, however, and likely find herself near the gym.]
Outside, PJ notices a java sparrow riding down the road on a scooter. She's going quite a bit below the speed limit. The faint smell of takoyaki comes from a basket on the handlebars. Joseph, finding the gym, is greeted with the sound of many balls hitting the wooden floor and the flapping of wings. A homing pigeon approaches him with the bird equivalent of a smile. "Hey there! You here to try out for the team? I'm Daichi, the captain. Nice to meet ya!" Shiki can hear this exchange from just outside the gym. Like before, Takeshi is playing on the music room's piano. The music teacher is busy at the other end of the room. The teacher seems slightly surprised at the human's entrance. "You have a friend, Takeshi?" The helmet pigeon stops playing, turning around on the bench. "Ah, Sayaka. There you are. I was almost worried you wouldn't show up." Fucidin finds Darsha fairly easily. She's looking at a map of the school that's pinned to a board on the wall. "So the library's here... That's where Noburu-san said the Occult Club would be, but maybe I should go home..."
A young woman wanders out of a classroom, she'd been reading inside the place up to now. But she might as well try and socialize or something. That in mind, Blake would begin searching for the library, what better place to go than where they keep the books?
Fucidin walks up and places a hand on Darsha's shoulder? Wing? Yeah wing. Somewhat concerned about that occult club that Noburu is in but he's sure it's fine. Oh! There you are! Are you heading to the library? It's a pretty nice place! That Noburu is kind of mysterious though! I'll come with you if you don't mind!
Well yeah, I said I'd be here didn't I? 'Course I made it. Sayaka would walk further into the room, setting her bag by the door before taking a seat near Takeshi I'll never go back on my word, you can count on that.
Darsha steps back at the sudden touch, but her feathers lay back down once she realized who it it. "Hello, Fucidin-san. I was just considering going to the library... but I guess I'll feel better about it with company." She's clearly a little nervous, but leads the way to the library anyway. The duo gets there at the same time Blake does. There's a few students studying there, but a corner of the library has a small circle of birds, including a certain dragoon pigeon. Takeshi bows his head. "I thank you for coming, then. Most students are too busy with other things to come here. Let's see... have you ever played an instrument before? I'm just curious."
[Joseph looks around the gym, watching all of the other birds playing basketball. He then looks at the bird that just greeted him with a smirk and a nod.] "Yup, that's why I'm here. The name's Joseph Joestar, but everyone calls me JoJo. It's a pleasure to meet you too."
No need to be so formal! You can just call me Fuci! Sorry if I scared ya! Fuci then heads to the library with his avian friend and notices Blake is that a.. Catgirl? He takes a second to process this before breaking away, realizing he's been staring and moving his attention back to Darsha So! Your here for the fortune teller right? Come on! We are a little late! Fuci then takes Darsha's wing and pulls her gently towards the small ring
Blake would look towards the human and bird standing outside the room, hmm... Might as well speak to them. "Hey there, so did you two come here to read? I'm kinda curious about what sort of books this school has ya know. I've never been to a bird school before, so it should be pretty interesting." The young woman smiles and sounds fairly cheerful as she looks at them, she's always happy to speak about books after all... Oh yeah, her name! "Oh an uh, I'm Blake Belladonna by the way... Hehehe, I guess I get a little carried away when I'm talking about this stuff?"
Sayaka scratches the back of her head nervously before replying I... Actually haven't. I've just been listening for a while. A friend of mine plays the violin, and I used to go to his performances all the time. That's about all the real music experience I've got
"JoJo! I like it! A guy like you could be pretty useful on the team, so let's see what ya got!" A rock dove passes a ball to Daichi, who catches it in his wings and tosses it to Joseph. "Let's see how ya are at shooting hoops!" "Darsha. Fucidin and I are here for the Occult Club..." Her voice becomes quieter as she's led towards the circle of birds. Noburu waves to them, cards already shuffled and ready. "There you two are. I was about to go over Arcana with everyone. Mei mentoned ghosts earlier today, though, so we might talk about that instead..." Darsha tenses up a little at the mention of ghosts. It's not exactly a fearful reaction, but she doesn't look comfortable with this. "That's still good. If one listens a lot, they can understand music even if they don't have the talent for playing it." Takeshi begins playing again, although it's something simpler so he can talk as he performs. "Although it's not out of the question to learn later. Still, my father always said it was best to learn a skill as early as possible."
(edited by Hundred-S)
[Joseph catches the ball before taking his backpack off of his back and setting it on the ground.] "Alright, I'll try to do my best!" [Joseph dribbles the ball in his right hand while walking over to the free throw line. He looks down, bounces the ball twice, then shoots the ball above the rim of the net. It bounces off the rim twice before going into the hoop.]
Oh! Hello there! I'm just kinda tagging along! But she's right! Occult club! I just hope it isn't an actual cult! I haven't looked at the books yet but I'll hopefully get around to it! Your free to join us Blake! As you might have heard I'm Fucidin! Nice to meet ya! Fucidin then takes a seat in the group and mostly stays quiet, however when he notices Darshas distraught he takes her wing and clenches. Whispering. No need to worry! I'll be right next to ya!
A magic club? How weird... Eh, might as well check the place out. "Alright then, I guess I'll hang around for now. Not like I've got anything else to do in this school so far, and maybe I'll actually learn something." She'd take a seat near Fuun and Darsha, upon noticing the bird's reaction of fear... There's a small part of her that wants to start batting at the girl honestly, but it'd be best to not follow those pesky cat, murderer instincts. Instead, she smiles gently at the bird and attempts to sound calming as she whispers. "Hey, I'm sure that it'll be fine alright? I've never met a ghost so far, and even if they were real, I'm sure that nothing is gonna happen here."
Sayaka nods and leans to her side a little, listening to him play. Of course, its best to keep the conversation flowing, so she asks the obvious question So I take it your dad's the one who taught ya right?
"Ooh, that was close! But your form is good!" Daichi catches the ball as it bounces off the ground. "I can tell you know what you're doing, and we kinda need some more members, so welcome to the team! We tend to practice every day after school, but since some of us get swamped with homework, it's mostly on a come-whenever-you-want basis. So basically, practice is optional, but still make an effort to come!" Tarsha nods quietly. The words of encouragement calm her down a bit. Mei chatters about some stuff she found online, like some videos of ghost hunters. A few of the other members seem skeptical, but the line of conversation takes an interesting turn... "So you can contact ghosts on a... Weegee board, right?" "Ouija board." "That sounds kind of fun. You put your wingtip on a thing and it moves to the letters, right?" "Noburu, you have one, right?" "Of course." The dragoon pigeon walks over to a box in the corner, opening it and taking out a wooden board with various letters. "I haven't taken this out in months..." "Well, he hired a tutor to teach me since he's a very busy bird, so I suppose he indirectly did so," Takeshi says after a slight pause in the music. Realizing the lack of music, he continues. "Sorry, got distracted there. Speaking of family, what's yours like?"
*Hibki checks the time on his phone as he walks up to the school, he just made it into town today. As he walks into the school he looks around for a bulletin board that could tell him what all the clubs were.*
Fucidin stays mostly absent of the general discussion and focuses more on the more prominent members, Darsha, Blake and Noburu, watching their actions and how they act for the most part, however when the Ouji board is brought out he snaps back into action and tries to get involved, wouldn't be a good club member otherwise! Interesting! Well then shall we get started? Maybe I can ask the ghost if I'm haunted! That would explain my string of rather bad luck! Fuci then reaches out his hand and places it just on the little wood piece. Here we go..
"I see... I'm not really into such things, so I'll just stay here and observe for now." A board that lets you talk to ghosts? She's heard of such things back home too, more than likely it's simply being moved by the people involved. Subconsciously to be sure, not in a way they'd know of most likely, but still being moved by them. Heh, wonder how these guys would react to seeing Aura? Ah well, no need to show off.
[Joseph nodded once again at Daichi. Well that was an easy tryout. He expected it to be as hard as that one time at Hell Climb Pillar, but he was wrong.] "Got it, I'll surely be at practice tomorrow. Now I'll see you later!" [While walking over to his backpack, Joseph waves to Daichi before picking up his backpack and exiting the gym. As he goes into the hallway, he looks from left to right before walking around the school, trying to find the library.]
Sayaka pauses for a moment and thinks back, she hasn't seen them in a long time, so unfortunately Sayaka shakes her head I... I'm actually having kinda a hard time remembering. I've actually... Been away from home a few months, my family was pretty cool, like, they let me have a lot of freedom as long as I got home before dark. I'm afraid I don't remember too much beyond that
A tiny white bird lands on Hibiki's shoulder, apparently tired from flying around. The bulletin board has info about the track team, basketball team, student council... there's even an occult club and manga club! "Hm... I won't ask about the details. It's probably a personal situation that caused you to be away for so long, or just simply this 'Nexus' I've heard about." A slight pause in the music. It's only a beat, but a noticeable stop nonetheless. "Then again, I never had much time with my parents myself, but enough of that. I should concentrate on finishing this song..." Joseph heads up to the second floor and into the library. Some birds are studying, while others are crowded around something on the floor. "Alright, everyone, put a wingtip on the wooden piece in the middle." At Noburu's command, everyone reaches out to the center. He clears his throat. "Spirit that may be listening, is Fucidin haunted?" Nothing for a few seconds. Then Darsha shivers a little, and the piece begins moving. After a few seconds that feel like hours, it lands on "NO."
Fucidin watches with wide eyes as the piece does move, were there really ghosts? That was kinda spooky... However this spirit might be of some use! However before he can continue he sees Darsha get shaken and gets concerned Hey.. Are you okay? You can talk to me you know! How about you ask something?
Sayaka stays silent for a moment, its kinda an awkward subject to come up, but it does seem like Takeshi is bothered. For now, Sayaka leans back a little You know, I don't mind if you wanna talk about something. I know it can be.... Kinda a drag, but hey, that's what friends are for, right? right? Sayaka's admittedly not so sure herself anymore, its all been so long since she's seen them either. Sayaka looks down for a moment, a shadow across her face
*He looks over at the bird and starts talking to it like it’s a normal everyday occurrence.* So are you one of the students? I was told they would be birds. Any recommendations for clubs?
Since JoJo's rper is probably watching Nintendo Direct... "Friends..." It's a slightly unusual idea for Takeshi. He's probably not used to being called a friend. He nods his black-feathered head. "I'll take your words to heart. But it's getting a bit later now, so I'll be heading home." Darsha blinks, as if snapping out of a daze. "I'm fine... It just feels kind of weird. Um... maybe we can ask what the school's like?" She's grasping for an idea, but Noburu seems to accept it anyway. "Spirit, what is this school like?" The wooden piece moves. H-A-T-O-F-U-L. Darsha jerks her wing back near the end, and the members chatter amongst themselves. "Hatoful? The 'hato' part means pigeon..." "Hatoful... it's like that English word, heartful, right?" Darsha is silent as everyone tosses around ideas. She stares directly at the marker.
I don't know much about clubs. I don't go here. The tiny bird speaks, flapping its wings a little. Birds here are big. I thought I'd find my friends here, but they aren't around. Maybe they're hiding or elsewhere.
*Hibki looks down, embarrassed.* My bad. I wish I could help but, I don’t really know any other birds. I’m thinking of heading to the Manga club, you could follow me, you never know, they might be there. *He takes note of the room where the Manga Club is and starts walking in that direction, being careful not to swing his arms too much, just so he doesn’t accidentally knock down the bird on his shoulder*
Feels kinda weird? Do you have a condition? If you need to we can check up at the nurse's office. Fuci's concern doesn't stop there, not exactly satisfied by her response. But he goes with it for now. Getting the answer Hatoful makes him think. Heartful? This school certainly was nice. But something is off. Why would the spirit choose that word and not just heartful. What's even more suspicious is how Darsha seems intrigued by the marker, Fuci then pretends to contribute but pays most of his attention to it.
Sayaka looks up at the clock, it is starting to get a little late after all, she should probably be getting busy. Sayaka grins and stands up Yeah, you’re right. Still, I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow. It was nice talkin’ to ya. With those words, Sayaka starts towards the door, making sure to grab her bag along the way
Darsha blinks and stands up. "I'm... fine. This just happens once in a while. I'll be alright if I get some rest at home." She looks kind of drained, so it's probably for the best. The Manga Club's meeting seems to be finishing up, but the duo still gets a very warm welcome. "A new member?" "Nice! We've still got some time left..." "You got a pen I can borrow?" "Such as small bird...! Are you a student, too?" The chatter from the rather large birds- pigeons- is in a language Hibiki can understand, surprisingly. The tiny white bird tilts its head.
[Joseph silently walks through the library and to a random chair, letting out a small cough. As he sits down, he takes off his backpack and reaches inside it, pulling out a strange black covered book. He then silently started to read it.]
*Hibki hands over a pen before his phone goes off, he checks it, and then puts it away.* Keep the pen, I gotta go home and make dinner. I’ll be here tomorrow though. *He Runs off*
Fucidin looks her in the eye with a concerned look with a moment of silence before responding. Agreeing with her suggestions Yeah. Get some rest soon. It probably won't do you any good. Er.. I can walk you home if you like! I can't exactly leave you like this can I? Wouldn't be very nice!
The little birb is taken along for the ride. He's probably staying with Hibiki just because potential food. Darsha nods. "I would like that..." The two depart, heading out of the school and eventually reaching a house. Darsha waves good-bye and heads inside... Night falls.... ... Once, there was a human and a bird. They were cursed and trapped, yet had each other. The dawn broke their bonds and they became free. But the hatoful heart still lingers within the world... [Day 1 end. Continuation: tomorrow.]
