A Different Blend
[Shiki shoots Rep a dismissive glance, he's clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed if he thinks that he can openly brag about killing innocent people and then claim to be insulted.]
"I'm not the one talking about how I killed self-proclaimed innocent people here, forgive me if that thought sets me on the defense, but I'm not here looking to fight."
[She then turns toward that strange boy with the light in his eyes... What on earth is his deal? She wants to see his lines, view the death hidden deep below the surface. But for now she'll keep playing at being mostly normal.]
"As for a conflict of power, nah not really. Just that our snake-like friend over there said a few things that kinda made me wary. I'm not gonna fight him if he doesn't strike first though, no need for that kinda stuff around here if ya ask me."
[She may like killing, but that doesn't mean she's utterly classless, dragging random people into it is bad form, as is fighting in the open, and so many other things... Now, if this were a bounded field meant to keep people away, she'd cut into Rep without a second thought. It's a damned public park though, what kinda idiot would pick a fight here? Either way, she turns to Makoto and shrugs.]
"Getting home eh? I'm with you there actually, I may not have many people I care about, but I do have at least a few..."
[An errand service huh? Doubtful Shiki would... Wait a moment, she's got no job, crap what's she gonna do without Touko around? And no annoying family to mooch off either, maybe...]
"Uh, hey kid you wouldn't happen to be in need of people for this stuff would ya? I'm not sure how much money it takes in, but I am pretty dang fast when I wanna be, and I guess something like that would at least let me learn the layout of this madhouse. Though, I have no idea what the money looks like."
[She'd then look a bit crestfallen upon hearing Sayaka's answer to that question... Like Makoto though, there's a sense of determination as she turns her head toward the moon and grips her knife under her jacket.]
"As for getting back, like he said I'll find something. I can't exactly up and vanish forever, I... Well, I was away too long once, I'm not about to pull anything like that again."
A Mind Alight
[A young woman with a bored expression wanders through the night. Her eyes pass over various buildings without even a second glance, right up until she spots the one those odd noises have been coming from.]
"Hmm... I just wonder, what might be in here? Hearing things, strange lights, all kinds of rumors abound, a spirit perhaps? Or maybe some Magus has set up shop and not bothered to hide very well? Either way, it might just turn into something interesting if I check this out."
[That in might, Shiki would lazily walk through whatever entry is most apparent. She's not feeling the need to treat this like a serious break-in or something. Not when it's just rumors and guesswork on her part. But, She would check around corners and look up at the roof now and then as she walks through the place, no sense being utterly off guard after all.]
A Different Blend
[New? Putting it lightly, more like woke up here just today...]
"New is an understatement honestly, the last thing I know I was at home, and then the next I woke up in freaking Tokyo without a clue what's happening, and that was earlier today."
[She'd eye Rep curiously for a moment, before turning back to the blue-haired girl with a shrug.
No sense being needlessly rude to someone who's answering her questions after all.]
"Name's Shiki Ryougi by the way, and it's good to hear he's harmless... I'm a little curious why you guys just shrug him off though, you Magi or something? Ya don't reek of blood, so not vampires, and I don't see any crosses, so the Church is out..."
[Upon hearing the thing speak of killing innocent people, her right-hand dashes down for a knife held under her kimono, she'd point the weapon toward Rep and stand up in a blur, dropping into a fighting stance as she watches the thing.]
"I'm sorry, did you just say you killed innocents? I'm not too uptight about violence, but even I draw the line at killing for no reason. If you admit to attacking randomly, how do I know you won't attack me here and now?"
[A smirk crosses the woman's face as she looks at what may well be her next victim, it's true that she draws the line at killing for no reason. But she'd be lying if she claimed not to love a good deathmatch.]
"Now, if you're planning on doing anything like that how about we get it over with fast? I didn't come <b>looking </b>for a fight exactly, but I'm never one to turn down a chance to employ my blade."
A Different Blend
"You wanna see what I can do... Alright then, it's a bit disturbing for most people, I wonder if you can stare this in the face without flinching?"
[Shiki stands up, she'd casually draw a knife out from under her kimono and wander toward a street lamp. At that point, she turns back to Fuun for a moment, as she does so he'd note that her eyes glow with a blue light, bits of purple can be seen on the edges as well. For one reason or another, simply looking into them would make him think of death.]
"Gaze into these Mystic Eyes of Death."
[Lines appear all around the woman, yet they remain unseen by all save herself. But she's focusing on the street lamp in front of her... Hah, metal, cute. In a sudden blur of motion that a normal human wouldn't be able to follow, the woman's knife cleaves through the entire thing, traced lines lead to <b>Death</b> and there's no defending from that. As she stows her blade once more, the light would clatter down to the ground and a smirk appears on Shiki's face as the glow vanishes. At that point, she walks back toward the boy and looks at him curiously.]
"That's what I can do, I bring <b>Death</b> to all who cross my blade. That's all you need to know really. As for those beings of yours... Good luck with that, I don't know a thing about those matters, but I can say this, magic tends to beget more magic, and those with power are seldom offered the chance to not use it. Get better, if only for your own sake."<div class='edited'>(edited by Shiki-Ryougi)</div>
A Mind Alight
[The woman just stares at Jason blankly... In contrast to her usual emotionless face, at this point she simply looks very confused.]
"I... Walked? It's just an old warehouse in Tokyo, what part of this is hard to reach? I... Are you on drugs? Is this what drugs do to people? I'm not trying to offend you, I'm just utterly stunned by that question."
[She actually sounds shocked, huh. "How did you get here". For once, even she's left completely without a clue. Is this what it feels like to not know what's going on? Geez, she suddenly feels very bad for a certain someone who never understands the crap his friends get into.]
A Different Blend
[Shiki shrugs, beings such as that hardly ever do anything for free, if this thing is truly there. Then she's not at all shocked to see it turned down a request for help... But, if it's about equivalent exchange, she might just be able to make this work.]
"And what kind of thing would he request for taking me to a specific time and place? If such a thing is even possible of course... I cannot say that I'm entirely sold on this idea, but any lead that might get me back home is better than sitting around waiting."
A Different Blend
[Shiki laughs, geez some people just don't get the way she thinks. Then again, that's fine... Not like being able to stare death in the face and have fun with it is for the better, despite how much she might wish otherwise at times.]
"I guess I get that, for me... Eh, just something I like, but whatever floats your boat right? Can't say I get, and you don't get me."
[A headache? That's not normal is it... Is he using some kind of ESP? Or maybe poorly done magecraft? She can only think of so many things that would cause that.]
"And listen, I guess I shouldn't go around spreading that magic is real, but as far as I know the only things that would cause that is supernatural in origin. If you've got some kinda powers then get them sorted out, I've got a little trick myself, and back when I first got it... Controlling was beyond me, and life was hell because of it, so don't mess around with that."
A Mind Alight
[As Leo stares at Shiki, he'd find her aura pretty sizeable. She's clearly got some kind of power to her... Beyond that, there's an odd sense of death flowing around it as well, she's entirely human. But for some reason looking at her nature would cause the boy to feel as if he's staring at someone all too close to death.]
"I'm fine with not fighting... Well, I won't lie I kinda came looking for a fight honestly. But I'm still not going to just start killing for no reason, it'd be pretty stupid if I just went around pulling my blade over every tiny slight. As for you Quinlan, I can assure you the feeling is mutual, I'm oddly not fond of having weapons pointed at me."
[She sounds entirely casual, not even a hint of fear can be heard in Shiki's voice despite the fact that moments ago a lethal weapon was being aimed towards her. At that, she looks around the room a bit more and spots... Whom she assumes to be this Luard, so he's running some kind of science project huh? Might be worth looking at.]
"Anyways, I'm curious what kinda stuff you doing back here? A place this odd can only mean a Magus as far as I know, or whatever the local term is for magic users, point being I'm gonna guess you aren't some usual scientist right? And yeah, can't say I blame you, if I weren't bored beyond belief around here I wouldn't be checking into that stuff either. Yet alas, here I am."
A Different Blend
[A bored looking young woman in a dark blue kimono with a red leather jacket over it walks through the park. She'd glance around now and then, clearly searching for something before she simply sighs and hangs her head down, rubbing her forehead and muttering something]
"Gah... Where in the hell am I now? Can't seem to get ahold of anybody, can't even figure out how I'm in Tokyo and not home... Oh well, maybe I'll at least find something interesting around here soon."
[She looks around once again, this time simply meandering rather than searching for anything she knows. After a moment Shiki would decide to walk over toward Ryoma's coffee stand. She's not much for crowds or people, but she <b>is</b> a fan of coffee, so it's better than just wandering around looking. She'd sit down at the counter and give Ryoma a blank look, not even showing a hint of emotion as she speaks.]
"So, you sell coffee then right? Gimme something black, not a fan of sweet stuff. And ya got anything to eat? I'm... New around here, been wandering without much thought so haven't really eaten much of anything."
[She'd spare the others a sideways glance for now, a girl with blue hair? Huh, wonder if it's natural. Then there's that guy with the jacket, hey nice taste. And... What even is that other one? She's half tempted to take a look at its lines, but glowing eyes seem like a bad first impression. And wait, is that some kind of snake centipede monster? What the hell, that's weird even to her.]
"And uh... Is anyone else seeing that weird snake centipede looking thing? It's kind of freaky, not that I'm unused to freaky, but I would expect more of a reaction. Unless this entire city just considers the strange normal?"
