What Did You Think Of Persona 5 Daybreakers?

I watched it recently and here are the things that stood out to besides the fangirl screams when seeing Yusuke: -I hoped that it would start from the very beginning, but it syaryed when they beat the 2nd palace. I don't reaply know how persona animes work, so yea -Ren's voice was deeper than Yusuke's which surprised me. I never heard his japanese voice before. -IT GETS EVEN DEEPER, when they were changing the red hair guy's heart, Ren's voice suddenly dropped like a bomb. It was very suprising to me. Did anyone else have the se reaction? So those are the main ones. I would like to know what other people think.

It wasn't great, but it served its purpose of hyping up P5. Here's to hoping the actual anime is good.

I hope it's good too. It doesn't have the best story, which is why I hoped that it would start from the beginning. I want it to focus more on characters, since that was something P5 could have done better.

I thought it was great! Although, at the very end it showed Kaneshiro's Palace and I did not enjoy seeing that. I rage quit during the boss fight against him in the game. :p Started the game over.

I enjoyed seeing it, while not the best story, it was nice seeing it. The kaneshiro part upset me too, knowing that we would start at in my opinion, the least interesting palace. Hopefully it gets better.

The Daybreakers takes place during a beta idea for one of the side missions It was interesting to see how the group willingly used the Cafe to lure them in, and solve the case that way, when in the game, they explicitly refuse to use the Cafe for safety reasons. It reminded me of some of the other beta material that was scrapped from the game, like how the gym was going to be open for use, and there was a martial art training set in there for Joker to get better at hand to hand combat.

Thanks for responding! I didn't know that the phantom thieves would do it as a side mission, so now I know what they would have done if it was in the game. However, I don't want the entire anime to be sidequests, but I dont know how persona animes, so we eill have to see how the rest turns out.
