As Fenris tries to gather his thought he hears a scream, stands up, and walks cautiously towards where he thought he heard the scream come from. He tried the door to find it locked and when he turns around he comes face to face with a horribly disfigured creature. Fenris tries to summon his weapon, but something tells him he won't be able to do that. So instead he slips by the creature and hides.

Ooc: Ai, how do I join this?

Ooc: You asked for it. Ic: Ewan uses a skeleton key that he perchased to open the locked door. "This is Ewan, the CEO of Ewan Inc. On behalf of the merchant union, I have come to investigate!" Ewan points his gun at the air

However when Ewan does that his gun vanishes and voice rings out "Sorry but no cheating. The rules say no weapons allowed."

"Cheating? Is this some kind of game to you! I don't think you comprehend the severeity of the situation you're in." Ewan uses the power of money to perchase a fork. "Okay, then. This technically isn't a weapon."

*Right next to Fenris where he hide, he found find The Nomad looking at him and was waving to him*

"True. And yes of course I find this a game! Why else would I have prepared this all? I got bored with regular experiments. Who said anything about not having fun while you work? "What?" Fenris emerges from his hiding spot "You heard me. Now have fun!"

Ewan approaches Fenris with a worried look on his face. "Excuse me, miss, are you okay? I've come to rescue you."

"One I'm a dude, and two I think you into a trap." Fenris shows Ewan the device and it reads Rules: No weapons, no messing with serveillance systems, Skeleton keys may only be used to enter three rooms and can not be used to escape, no contact with the outside world* *new rules will be applied when necessary

Ewan is flushed with embarrasment "Is this some kind of joke? I didn't come here to play some game." Ewan simply smirks with amusement. "Very well, i'll humor these 'rules' for now. What if break such rules? What are the consequences?"

"Hold on. Here we go, it says "breaking the rules will result in instant elimination(as in you'll die)"." Fenris looks terrified after he reads the consequence "Wait. Die!?"

Ewan glares furiously. "I don't believe this. How dare someone hold others captive for their own amusement? I'm getting to the bottom of this." Ewan walks forward aimlessly in order to investigate, he searches for clues He gestures to Fenris to tell him to follow. "No one makes a fool out of me. I'll show you the true skills of the CEO of Ewan Inc.!"

Mysterious voice : "Yes, Fenris - DIE A VERY PAINFUL DEATH!" The man looks intensely at his watch "You don't have very much time"

Fenris follows Ewan for awhile but stops when he hears another scream, but this one sounds more distant, and less human "I don't like this place." He says as he resumes walking "It gives me the feeling that I'm being watched."

"Hmm, this could be a lead. I better check this out." Ewan walks stealthily towards the sound of the scream while looking back at Fenris.

"Wait, are you sure?" Fenris is weary of going toward the scream, but follows anyway. "Strength in numbers" right? "Who are you anyway?" Fenris asks to try and calm himself.

Ewan makes the >:( face. "Didn't I make this clear? I'm Ewan, the famous and, um, young CEO of Ewan Inc. The successful company I built in only 3 years." Ewan looks ahead of him again, proceeding slowly "And, we can't just run away. gulp Someone could be in danger after all!"

Fenris looks at Ewan with a very confused face, not knowing what an "Ewan Inc" was. "Well when I walked toward a scream a "thing" attacked me before you showed up." Another scream arises. Way closer to them, and sounds like it's coming closer.

OOC: mind giving more detail? I don't know weather this is a monster on par with frankenstein or just something Sid made in Toy Story.

Ooc: Somewhat both with a mix of Resident evil

Ewan looks at the thing with disgust and anger. >:( "A monster!? Fine, i'll defeat it using my expert merchantile skills." Ewan takes a gold coin and throws it at the monster's head, attempting to distract it. "Take this!"

The monster just stands still and lets the coin hits its head. And when that happens it lets out a threatening screech "That didn't work!" The monster swipes towards the two but it ever connects as Fenris summons his shield "That will hold it for a bit. RUN!"

"NO! A merchant never runs from a fight!" Ewan then proceeds to pull a heavy thing from his bag "I'll just throw more money at it -hmPF!- Ewan takes a gold bar out and chucks it at the monster's chest, the force of the object would be enough to knock an ordinary human down.

But the creature merely cuts it into pieces "Yeah, no. I don't think pissing it off more will help!" Fenris yells as he struggles to hold the creature back "We need to-Omph!" The creature sends Fenris flying, not noticing the flash crystal that Fenris threw "COVER YOUR EYES!"

Ewan shouts out in agony "Nooo! Not the money! Whyyyy!?" He gets on his knees and cries at the loss of the gold.

The Flash crystal gives off a burst of blinding, dazzling light effectively blinding the creature as Fenris grabs Ewan and runs "No time for that now. Where is the skeleton key?" Fenris says while dash down the hall

Ewan feels around in his pockets and notices it is gone. "Huh, I must've dropped it. Oh well." Ooc: I have to go.

Ooc: see ya

*Ding dong, bing bong* It's time to sleep nowThe voice said as a gas pours out knocking out Fenris This is the end of the prologue
