Among the starlit hills
Against the outskirts of the city lie a rather popular place to relax, a site separate from the hustle and bustle of an active city, where one can catch a breath, if only for a short time. The grassy hill stretches on for some feet, topping off in a pleasant meadow that has doubtlessly been used for stargazing many a tim
It seems like yesterday was a bad time. So... Is now any better?
Sho steps up to the hills and takes a look amongst the stars, fixing the little cape on his shoulder before taking a seat and looking up, watching the stars. The stars always seem strange.. Apologies, I don't have the most time today but I shall post for as long as I can.
Neither do I have much time, but I shall try to be here for at least an hour or two. Eito, yawning and covering his mouth, walks to the hills soon enough, letting his hood fall from his head as he stares up at the stars. "It's been too damn long..." He just stays still there, looking up. If one was perceptive, they'd see his eyes water up for some strange reason.
That’s fine, not like there was some elaborate scheme or anything. And besides, there’s no real rush or anything. After a short time watching the night sky, a light thump can be heard from the nearby field. Looking up one might notice a hint of blonde hair mostly obscured by the tall grass. The figure wouldn’t stir for some time, whatever the reason might be
(edited by Rasa)
Sho looks about and spies a figure in the grass, his curiosity getting the best of him as he walks over cautiously, wanting to see if something was wrong with the figure.
H2O
A young man in a business suit wanders into the hills, spiked up black hair and a tie clearly visible as he walks toward Sho with a grin on his face. One might also note the briefcase in his right hand, but it's surely just a normal business thing. "Heya! You seem like an experienced person who might have a clue about this place! Anyway, name's Mizui Namiko and it's nice to meet ya!" Upon seeing Sho walk toward... Oh hey there is someone over there, Mizui would follow, a curious look on his face as too checks to see if something is wrong.
Apologies, class is starting. Must run for now, I'll attempt to rejoin later
Eito sees the figure, but only slowly starts walking over, as if he has to stop and recollect himself.
The person doesn't seem to stir as the others get closer, soon they're able to see the young girl's face, likely in their late teens. The person's eyes are closed, and one can faintly hear her breath, which pushes and pulls at the grass near her face
Eito kneels over the girl, tilting his head to the side as his eyes shift through colors, eventually settling on pink. "Huh, fell asleep out here? Wouldn't blame you, it's pretty nice out here." He gets up once more and looks around for anyone else here.
* A small bird lands on Eito's shoulder. A voice echoes from somewhere* Διαστρεβλώ! Φύγε!
From the shadows, a small dark figure lurks behind the varied group of people. They seemed to traverse the grass stealthily, like a wild animal stalking a prey. They had a very high sneak stat, atleast. But were they stalking anything at all? or simply observing? The grass rustles gently. The dark figure, noticing that there is more than one person, simply watches for now, hoping to stay undetected for the time being.

The man would sigh as he spots someone sleeping, geez this is no place for that! However, his speech is cut before it starts by him noticing Eito. "Why is there a bird on your shoulder man? Is that just normal around here or am I missing something..." And for some reason, he feels like someone is watching and waiting. Maybe it's that fake Match? Well, either way he can't pin down where they are.
Eito looks at the little bird, his eyes shining as they turn green. He clears his throat before speaking roughly, as he wasn't used to talking. His accent's changed too, sounding vaguely british. "Και τι μικρό πουλάκι αποφάσισε να μου μιλήσει αυτή την ωραία νύχτα?"
The girl shifts in her sleep, before slowly opening her eyes. They look up at Eito, before slowly working to sit up, all their movements are slow, almost as though its a great effort. The girl blinks for a moment, before looking up at the sky. "I guess it is nice. But... Um...." The girl nervously plays with the end of her long braided hair, twirling it between their fingers. It seemed she was about to say something else when she notices the small bird on Eito's shoulder. "Is that yours?"
GAH!!!! *The bird flies off Eito's shoulder and in a puff of smoke turns back into Circe's regular form. She lands in front of Eito with a scowl and point's at him* Y-you know Greek? You're not allowed. That's my gimick!
(edited by Circe)
His green eyes glow even more, leaving trails whenever he moves his head. He smiles in amusement as he looks at Circe. "Sorry lass, but it ain't all that unique. Difficult, sure, but definitely not unique. So, care to tell me your name?" After he finishes his sentence, he looks at the man and the awoken girl, motioning to Circe as his eyes return to their normal state of shifting. "As you can see, that bird was not, in fact, mine."
*Circe grits her teeth before smirking nervously.* W-well, since you asked so nicely, I suppose I can give you my name, mortal. I am Circe, Dread Witch and Grand Highroller. You kneel in reverence now. *Circe laughs mockingly* You buy that, boy?
The young girl raises an eyebrow, staring at Circe for a moment. Only a single word ends up leaving her lips "strange."
H2O
Greek? Huh, learn some new every day. He's only got Japanese and some English... At any rate, the man raises his voice a bit and claps his hands. "Since we all seem to be listening, I'll get introduction outta the way! Mizui Namiko, the greatest firefighter in this city at your service!" There's a proud grin on his face as he says that, despite not looking like one at all there's clear conviction in his words. Beyond that, he'd look at the shapeshifter with a very curious expression. "Woha, that's some magic lady! I've never seen anyone do something like that before... And you don't even have any artifact from what I can see, how's it work?"
The figures sharp eyes notice the man look uneasy. Perhaps they noticed them? they remain perfectly still as to not incite detection. He seemed like he would be a difficult catch... Their eyes moved to examine the other figures present. The strange looking girl... She seemed non-human. She would be very difficult, though their blood would probably taste divine. Eito seemed like they would put on a bit of a fight as well. The long haired girl, however... She looked the most vulnerable. Judging by her posture, it seemed unlikely to them that she would know how to react if she were attacked suddenly. Moving now would be too risky, however. Perhaps if the crowd dispersed and they could get one of them alone, preferably the braided-haired girl.
A Kushala quckly flied into the area and quckly landed in the area, she ran towards the group to stop a few steps away, she looked up and let out a scream. HEEEEEEllo! Humans! How are you today? The Kushala was so cheerfull to see a few persons that she couldn't help her to not be carefull, she happily stared at the humans when she slowly began to realize what she has done and how she has approached them. Uh... d-don't worry because I'm not going to hurt you, I just... Ejem, what are you doing here? Taking some fresh air?
"Circe?" Once the name leaves his lips, he laughs. He almost doubles over in borderline insane laughter for a moment as his eyes take on a golden color before he immediately stops once again as he returns to normal, twitching slightly. "Well ain't that convenient! My name is Eito K-" He stops, trying to think of the word-NO-The name which came after his first, but he just couldn't figure it out. After a moment,he gives up and shrugs. "Now, seeing as i've introduced myself, I might as well introduce my Persona as well!" Extending his arm, a blue card appears over it. He curls his hand around it and mutters "Persona.". With that, a large figure bursts out of magical blue flames behind him, seeming nothing else than a Hellenic looking armor with a red cloak and a spear. Upon appearing, he simply stops, perfectly still behind Eito. "This is Odysseus!"
The young girl looks up at the Kushala, slowly turning towards the dragon as though exhausted. The girl takes a deep breath, letting out a large, breathy sigh before continuing to play with her hair "What am I....." The girl furrows her eyebrows for a moment, oblivious to those around her as she tries to think of something or another. After a moment she closes her eyes "I don't know." Then she notices a flash of light as Eito calls out his persona. The girl squints as she looks at the tall, cloaked figure, before muttering a single word. "strange."
"Ah, so it's name's Odysseus... That's good to know, I guess." Approaching the group, Jiyu looks up at Eito's persona, inspecting it from top to bottom in interest. After looking at it for a few seconds, he changes his attention to Eito and waves to him. "Hey Eito, how've you been?"
Odysseus? Oh, that guy. *Circe smiles, remembering the past somewhat happily.* Am I supposed to be impressed? Worried? Something like that? Do you know you're the mythology of your own... Persona, was it? Or, perhaps you just learnt it wrong. Either way, there's no bad blood between me and King Ithaka. Even if it was, that ain't the real guy himself, so I'm not concerned with the visage of a fake. *Circe spins her staff around, resting it on her shoulders.* Out of curiosity, that wasn't a threat. Was it?
She was still embarrased for causing a scene and distiurb their peace. My apologies for that, sometimes I can't help it and I act that way, I hope it doesn't stop you for having a good time here. She lowered her head to perform some kind of aplogize, with that done she lied down, when Eito summoned his persona, she looked it with the corner of her eye.
He waves Circe off, alternating between shrugs and wild laughter. He's obviously unstable. "A threat? No, no, no, maybe, NO, nononono...I just found the coincidence a bit funny is all!" He giggles and turns to face Jiyu, now blinking rapidly as his smile grows ever wider. "Ah, my old buddy Jiyu! It's been a looooong, long, excruciatingly slow, looooong, fun, long time! Haha!" Jumping up and down while clapping like a child, Eito rapidly reaches his friend, who is easily able to notices the numerous cuts and scrapes on his face and neck, along with his shattered glasses that are still stubbornly hanging onto his face. "We-IIII have been doing a lot of...Self reflection. Sort of a vacation, yesss...How have you been?" Meanwhile, Odysseus undergoes a twitching fit, every joint in his armor-like body clanking for a moment as numerous lights shines inside his helmet. Yet he still had an extremely tight hold on his spear, the tip of which was now engulfed in the Persona's own fire.
H2O
The man would stare at this "Persona" for a while, there's a slight look of shock on his face... "Geez, does everyone use their magic for such little reason around here? I've never seen powers shown off so casually before, but maybe that's just the culture in this place... And what the heck is a "Persona" anyway?" He'd then look at... A FRIGGING FULL-SIZE DRAGON!? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE!? "WHY IS THERE A DRAGON, WHAT THE HELL!? ARE WE GONNA DIE!?" As he's reaching down to open the briefcase in his right hand, the man would suddenly note that it doesn't seem to be attack and breath a sigh of relief... But seriously, why the hell are there freaking dragons just wandering around like it's normal!? Either way, he rubs the back of his head sheepishly and shrugs. "Hehehe, uh sorry about that but I'm just not used to seeing things that don't exist out and about. In fact, I'm almost starting to think one of my coworkers may have dosed me with some kinda drugs or something, it would make more sense than a dragon being real!"
Oh hey. A dragon. *Circe turns away from the unusually uninteresting sight and turns to Jiyu* So, this guy your friend. Is he usually this... unhinged?
... ... ... ... Things... what don't exist? The Kushala suddenly turned to H2O, she was kinda surprised and angry. Can't you see I'm here!? I exist as... sigh is fine human, I'm used to this kind of things and reactions, atleast you didn't attacked me like most humans, like that one wih the spoon... anyways, what are dru- She looked for an instant to Eito's persona, but she quckly returned to H2O, that lights are triggering her instinct and it is telling her to attack it. Uh, ejem... as I was saying... don't feel bad.
The girl looks back over to the dragon, her voice utterly calm and perhaps even distant. The girl shakes her head. "it is... Fine... Just a little... Strange.." The young girl briefly glances between the numerous odd figures in the area, blinking for a moment as she tries to think of something or another. Ultimately, she tilts her head and looks to the man with a briefcase "Maybe we're both asleep. C... Do you know where we are?"
Getting a close look at Eito, a flurry of questions popped in Jiyu's mind. Why did he look so beat up? Did he get in a fight with someone, or did he accidentally fall down, or maybe he eve- Actually, I'll just save the questions for later and instead just answer his friend's question. "Hmm, well first of all, I'm fine... Except for the fact that my arms have been killing me for the past day."
H2O
The man places a hand on his chin... Well, he was just walking through Tokyo out to a nice quiet little park, and then a freaking dragon shows up and a whole bunch of other shit shows up. "Could be, but I was just walking out to a park... No, something in me is saying this whole thing happens to be real! So apparently people show off magic for no reason and dragons are a thing that exists, geez I almost miss dealing with arson." Mizui places a hand on his temple, rubbing his head and smiling at the girl for a moment before he begins to walk off. "Anyway, I was looking to get a bit of peace and quiet so I'll be moving along to a less crowded spot for now!" He'd do just that, walking out of sight of the group and searching for a shady spot. After a moment the man sees a tree a good ways away from everyone, he'd walk under it and sit down, leaning back on the tree with a casual look on his face as he glances around. And for some reason, gets ready to open his briefcase.
"We-I-No me! Argh!" Frowning, Eito grabs his knife and starts creating small cuts all along his right hand, no matter how much...He himself resists it. Regardless, after much struggling to stab himself, the light in his eyes disappear and thy return to normality. He'll be fine, just for a little bit. "Oh god. Finally they shut up! All the lies and the visions and the bloody murder! It's bloody torturous!" Despite his freely bleeding hand, the teenager places his hands on his knees and stops to breath, grabbing his glasses and throwing them to the ground. "Man...You will not believe the shit i've been through this last month!" Despite his situation, somehow he finds it in himself to let out a long, pained laugh. "BECAUSE LET ME TELL YOU, IT'S BEEN ONE HELL OF A RIDE!" Odysseus, in the meanwhile, gets overwhelmed, the colors and lights in his helmet completely filling it's darkness as he slowly starts steppilng towards Eito, who sees fit to ignore him.
The prior figure from before decides that they should just take what they can get. The sharp man may be dangerous, but it looks like no one else will break from the group... This might get ugly. But they needed to feed. The figure stealthily menuvers behind the tree, and climbing up it in a catlike manner. They slowly tread the branches until they are above Mizui. ...Finally, the figure comes out of the shadows by dropping down on the side of Mizui, revealing the frame of a small, pale, white haired girl with red eyes in a black and white gothic lolita outfit. She was fast. She attempts to dive right into Mizui and bite him on the neck.
OOC: my apologies but i have to leave, good bye.
*Circe looks at Odysseus.* Uh? Red guy? Mortal? Your fake King Ithaka is advancing on you. Doesn't look frien- hmm? *Circe looks over at Sayaka as she comes out of the shadows at jumps back in shock.* ΔΑΙΜΟΝΑΣ!!!
Jiyu was at a loss of words at what just happened to Eito. He was mostly concerned of who this "they" person is, making him want to ask Eito about the first, but first, he wanted to know what the hell just happened to him. "Um, well uh, uhm." *Sigh* "What the hell just happened to you?"
H2O
The man was expecting something like this, granted he almost figured it'd be Match... But an attack was foreseen, as the girl rushes toward him Mizui would already be rolling out of the way, a smirk on his face as he glances at the girl. Despite the danger, his voice is full of energy and slightly cocky. "Huh, trying to bite me? Geez, you could at least take me out to dinner before doing something like that! Anyway, you're not a fire but I'll still put you out! HENSHIN!" The man moves in a blur, briefcase sliding open as he quickly sets a flask-shaped belt around his waist and pulls a cork out of the top. As he does so, the belt would shout out. [OXYGEN OBLITERATOR!] [WATER!] Water rushes from the flask, it would form a shield all around Mizui preventing anyone from harming him for a moment. And below the shield, water attaches itself to the man, a suit of dark blue and black armor that looks shaped for movement both in water and on land suddenly covering the man. The helmet appears to be a sleek and updated diver's helmet. And on the front of his chest plate "H2O" is etched. Finally, he'd look at her and speak in a far lower calmer voice than before. "Now then, I'd say we're a bit more evenly matched like this wouldn't you? I don't quite know who you are, but as a Kamen Rider, I can't leave someone who attacks others for no reason be." Water begins flowing around the man's hands, just as it took on a solid shape for his armor, it'd also take the shape of a whip at this point. H2O grabbing hold of it in his right hand and quickly flinging the thing toward his foe, water flows down off it wherever the whip flies and coats the ground.
"WELL, DO I HAVE A TALE FOR YOU!" After taking another moment to breath, Eito sighs. "You remember the whole eyes-changing-color phase I went through, and then when I had those other personalities? Turns out they brought friends. I have no idea what they are or where they came from, just that they all decided living in my head sounded like a fantastic idea!" After stopping to silently swear a bit more,he walks up to Jiyu and puts his hand on his friend's shoulder. "Do you know what it's like, having countless different people living inside your head, telling you things, giving you visions, knowledge...It wasn't fun even before the bastards decided they wanted my fleshy body for themselves. And as you can see, that many people do't do wonders for control of a human mind and body." Odysseus is rapidly approaching the two, spear raised, his whole body giving off unbearable heat that doesn't phase the teen at all. "So I locked myself in my room and only left to go to the bathroom or get something to eat and drink. I experimented a bit and it turns out that-Surprise-They're not fans of pain, and since they're so dedicated to taking me over, they connect with my body on a whole new level, so a few cuts would be akin to cutting off a hand in the pain it produces. That's enough to drive them back until it stops stinging, at which point the cycle restarts." Finally finishing his rant, he turns around and snaps his fingers as soon as Odysseus gets just a tad bit too close for comfort, making the Persona disappear. "Oh yeah, they also do that. Not very fun, having to be paranoid about the manifestation of my psyche turned into a war machine coming after me every time it comes out."
Sho breaks out of his stupor, nodding to the man from earlier and responding with his own name l Sho Kasugai. It's nice to meet you. So far you seem like the most normal person I've met. Hehe. Experienced though? I'm still quite new to this place. I assume you have just entered this world? Sho then turns to the girl in the grass and scratches his head Erm.. Do you have amnesia? Can you at least tell me your name? I can't tell you where we are exactly. My best guess is that we are in a new world. Can you stand? After showing concern he notices a girl jump out at them and pulls a gun off his leg, pointing it at the person lunging and keeping it trained on them Who are you!?! Explain yourself! However what he didn't expect was another Kamen Rider, taking a step back in suprise Another one? These riders seem pretty common...
*Circe looks at Eito, an eyebrow raised.* It's fair to say you have problems. A lot of problems. Too put it nicely, you're touched in the head. I can fix that. Pigs don't need to think, after all. *Circe starts chanting a spell.*
The young girl leans up, looking back at Sho, she tilts her head for a second, before sighing and shaking it"I.... Don't know." As though trying to test, the girl slowly pushes herself up, getting her feet below her in order to properly stand. Standing to her full height, the young girl sighs, apparently a little tired from the effort "I can... Stand just fine. Thank you." The girl was initially prepared to follow Mizui, but was soon caught by Sho, though she still looks over to the other man's strange new suit, taking a few steps towards the conflict almost as though in a trance.
The girl would be surprised as she missed the target. This was the first time that happened... She managed to catch her fall by rolling and quickly shifting back to look towards Mizui. She had the stance of a predator as she wordlessly listened to him ramble on. Whatever kind of creature she was, it wasn't human, and she was one of few words. As soon as she saw the shield and armor form around him, it was clear to her she was going to work for her meal this time. Her bright red eyes glared at the Rider. She acted feral, and it wasn't clear if she even understood what he was saying. She gave Sho a side glance, but didn't seem to show fear at the sight of the gun or utter a word in response to his question. As soon as she saw Mizui's whip come for her, she went from practically frozen to place and zig zags around the whip with superhuman speed. She pulled out what looked like a butcher knife and dashed right for Mizui, looking to slice at his neck.
H2O
"Little girl, you should get out of here quickly. I am reasonably sure I can deal with this thing, but I am not entirely sure I can do so if I have to defend you as well..." As the girl rushes forward at him, H2O would lift his left hand up and dash backward. He's fast, faster than any human has a right to be, but beyond that, the water he'd left on the ground by swinging his whip begins to move on its own. Quickly aiming to form a small tentacle from the puddle under her and grab hold of the girl's ankle, aiming to pull her down to the ground if it gets hold. "As for you... Aiming toward my neck, vampire perhaps? I'd write such an idea off, but after seeing dragons today anything seems possible."
The instant Circe starts, Eito grabs one of his pistols and shoots towards her leg. More of a warning shot than anything else. "Back the fuck off." His free hand moves to his belt, drawing the silver hilt of the black bladed sword, Murgleis. It shines with Cursed energy as he moves closer, prepared to lunge. "I've had enough goddamn crazies in my head, i'm not in the mood to deal with some outside of it as well!"
*Circe takes flight before the shot can hit her and fires her spell into the air, which explodes into a pig-shaped firework.* Heh. It was a joke. Lighten up. Yep. Definitely a joke. Gotcha. Eh heh heh. Wait, did you just call me crazy?
(edited by Circe)
A cyan-haired boy wanders aimlessly. He sees a bee and walks after it.
"I don't meet many ladies who transform into birds, mock clearly unstable people's mental conditions and then threaten to transform them into pigs as a 'joke'. Close enough to crazy, from my experience!" Murgleis returns to it's sheath, but the gun stays up, if only to take the occasional pot shot at the weird vampire.
Damn! Sho watches over the incoming fight and takes a step back, a sniper shouldn't be on the front lines, looking to the rider be yells out to him before retreating back I'll take care of the girl! I hope you can defend yourself, I've got a gift of my own... Looking to the mysterious girl, Sho reaches out his hand and stands next to her, a blue energy emitting from his head to his hand This isn't good.. Are you going to be alright? It's not exactly smart to stick around. You don't need to worry though, I'm sure we can protect you. With the energy gathered he moves it to his gun and aims down sights on the enemy, attempting to fire at her, if the bullet should hit it would slow her down.
Ooc: I didn't notice the post you made, oof. Jiyu took a moment to think about what it's like to have almost more than 10 voices talking in his head at once. He can't even stand it when his persona chimes in just for a mental chat with him. To shorten it, it sounds like literal hell. "That sounds a bit too overwhelming, for me at least. I can't even stand one voice talking to me in my head."
Oh please. I only do it to those who deserve it. It fits the character after all. Besides, I could never actually turn you into a pig. I value my life too much to turn one of HER chosen into one of my pets, anyway. *Circe returns to the ground. She leans on her staff and shrugs.*
it seems editing stopped working? I'll try this instead The girl doesn't move, focusing her attention at the other girl attacking the armored man. "P... Please stop." Something about them... Though they look human, it almost looks desparate. The other man said something about vampires.... Vampires... They drink blood right? Experimentally, the girl combs through her hair, soon finding a small, metal hairpin. Its clearly no weapon, but as the device ends in a point, it might do. The girl takes out the hairpin, delicately so as to disturb as little as possible, and carefully pricks the end of their thumb, squeezing the small wound so that a little blood comes out. If they really are a vampire they might notice the smell of fresh blood. The girl suddenly looks up at the gunshot, shakily letting out "I... I'll be fine... Please don't hurt her."
For a moment, Eito looks Jiyu in the eyes, letting him see the bags underneath them. He hadn't slept in...He didn't even rememeber. He was just tired. "It's pain. Absolute pain. And to think I fucking fought you for the chance to get another voice in my head!" The teenager sighed again, turning around to face Circe. "Her? You know what? I'm not even gonna ask, because I know i'm not gonna get an answer!"
Well, I figured you could guess. God, you're slow. *Circe rolls her eyes and motions towards Eito's Murgleis.* The Goddess of Magic, Morgana Le Fey, gave you that, right? I'm not fucking with her. I'm allergic to wolves, after all. And I value my ass not constantly being hunted. So, on the off chance that sword means you're her high ranking servant of that bitch, I'm not fucking with you. Now I know you have that. *Circe looks over to the Kamen rider fighting the Vampire* What the hell is going on today?
The girl takes her swing, and... misses. She showed slight irritation as she clicked her tongue before attempting to go for Mizui again, but as sharp as she was, she didn't expect the water from before to grab her ankle. She let's out a childish gasp, the first noise heard from her as she trips and falls. She squirms briefly like a trapped rat, looking up coldly at Mizui as he speaks. Her red eyes seemed to widen at the word "vampire". She understood that atleast. After squirming in frustration, she stands up with one leg, drops her knife and grabs the whip that was tugging on her ankle. Before she could do anything, however, she felt a bullet pierce her chest. Her eyes widened and she held the spot where she was shot as she collapses again, landing on her backside. She seems less hurt, and more surprised as she looks at her own blood on her hand. At any rate, she seemed too wounded to get back up right now... She stares at her hand somewhat sadly as she sensed that this may be it for her. It was then that she perked her nose up, smelling the blood from the very same girl she targeted earlier... She stared at her in wonder, wide eyed and childlike as she looked at her bloody thumb. She was still held down by the whip and the pain in her chest, however.
"...You fought me for ano- Ohhhhh right, you're talking about the tournament. Did you hear that it finally ended?" Jiyu would lift up his left sleeve to check something, instantly pulling it down if Eito were to notice him looking at his arm.
The girl flinches as she notices the vampire's bullet wound. Laying there... It almost looked like a kicked puppy. Without waiting to see what either of her protectors thought, the blonde girl runs over to the vampire "T... That's enough. Please no more. the girl thrusts out her hand, thumb first for Sayaka. It might not be much, but it has to be better than nothing. She'd rather not watch them suffer any further
H2O
H2O would look back toward Rasa, below his mask the Rider's eyes turn wide. "Hey, are you sure that's a good idea? Vampires... Everything I know says she'd kill you if, given the chance, I don't exactly enjoy hurting someone who looks like a kid. But even so, I can't allow harm to befall innocent people." The Rider clench's his left hand into a fist, the force of the water binding her down would grow bigger and long tentacles appear to try and wrap around the girl's chest. Aiming to hold her down, but not trying to inflict more harm for now. "I'll grant that request not to hurt her for now, but I'm not letting her get up and do whatever she wants." Finally, he glances at Circe and shrugs to himself. "What's going on? I haven't a clue, I'm fighting a vampire for some reason it seems... I'm a damn firefighter, but here I stand dealing with some blood-sucking child."
"The more you say the more I think I should let the voices in, just for a bit. But since i'm too lazy for that, i'll just go with calling you a bitch." Eito shrugs and places his gun-He really needed to name the bloody things-Back in it's holster. He grabs Murgleis and Tyrfing, the silver weapon ready to engulf itself in flames at a moment's notice. "But yeah, pretty neat swords, but they were just something I got for completing some challenge. Shame I never stuck around to collect on a job I did for her with some other people."
Hmm. Well, that makes me feel better. Still, I ain't taking any chances. I have too much to find out about... *Circe shakes her head* Just forget it. Guess that means I can turn you into a little piggie whenever I want too, doesn't it? Eh heh heh. Eh, Do you buy that? *Circe looks back to H20 with a shrug* I feel for you, Mr water rider. Good luck with everything now.
The girl seemed to understand the position she's in, not resisting as she is tied up by the tentacles. Further resistance will just result in more wounds, and she was already caught and surrounded by hostiles. She never took her eyes off of Rasa. First instinct was to bite her thumb off, but that seemed unwise considering the circumstances. Instead, she wraps her lips around Rasa's thumb and sucks the flowing blood from it. Her expression seemed more peaceful than before, and she began to look a little healthier the more she injested. She kept sucking her bloody thumb until no more would come, and pulled away, looking up at Rasa with a blank expression. Her previously aggressive eyes seemed more gentle looking at Rasa, however.
Eito grins as he looks to Jiyu, stealing a glance of his friend staring at his own arm. Considering Jiyu's previous complaints, it probably wasn't random, but he wouldn't ask yet. "Ah yes, I heard from a little birdy-One that doesn't transform into an annoying witch-That you just so happened to get your ass kicked. I'm happy." After stopping to chuckle, he locks eyes with Circe. "I will shoot you if you even think about it."
Sho watches the situation with a cautious look. Keeping his gun close and focusing on the vampire. His eyes going blank as he stares into the future, if the target was going to attack he would see it... Just be careful... I'm no killer, but if someone threatens someone else's life I'll protect them no matter what..
The girl smiles at Sayaka, in some ways they're reminisce of a lost child. The girl looks to Sayaka's bullet wound, with no training, she'd know little about fixing it up. For now she focuses on what she can do and looks Sayaka in the eyes, a gentle smile across their face"C.. Can you speak? Its alright, they won't hurt you anymore." Unsure of how much the other girl needs, the blonde-haired girl looks around for the knife Sayaka had brought out earlier. They hadn't ended up taking that much, probably because the thumb wound was so small. So, as soon as the girl finds the knife, she carefully lifts it in her uninjured right hand, and cuts across the pointer and middle fingers on her left, hopefully they can get a bit more from a larger cut like this."H... Have as much as you need, ok?"
Easy. Still joking. I'm not being seri- Hmm? *Circe looks to the skies. Her face darkens for a second before she turns back to everyone and starts walking backwards.* Welp, it's been fun, little red, but I'm gonna bounce. Water guy, good luck with the vampire. Vampire, good luck with the water guy. Grass girl, good luck with the peace thing. Bodyguard Psychic, good luck with the bodyguarding. Grey, good luck with Red. Red, good luck with Gray. Imma leave now. μεταμόρφωση πτηνών. Koolimpah. *Circe hit the ground with her staff and erupts into smoke. Before long, a small bird emerges from the cloud and flies away. When the cloud clears, Circe is gone.*
"She has the right idea here. I'm tired as all fuck and running on limited time. See you next time i go crazy, but for now, I need to take a goddamn nap!" And with that, Eito salutes Jiyu and walks away, before realizing he is indeed limited in time and starting to sprint at full speed.
Rasa would find that somehow, the bullet would was already amending itself, albeit slowly. The bullet was still inside, but it looked like it was being slowly pushed out from the wound swelling up. She looks at Rasa in the eyes and blinks once. I can talk... What do you want me to say...? She speaks clearly, if a little blunt, despite her reluctance to speak before. She looked very surprised at the compassion Rasa was showing to her. She nods in acknowledgement before beginning to clean Rasa's hand of all of the blood on and flowing out. She didn't leave an ounce of it; she enjoyed it in the same way a child loves candy. After carefully cleaning her hand and wound, she pulls away again. She seemed quiet for a moment, averting Rasa's gaze before looking up at her with a small blush, the rest of her face unchanging. T...Thank you, human... Sho detected no hostility from the small vampire at this point. Though she would be easily set off again by another attack, and as looking healthy once again from receiving blood, she could put up a fight again.
H2O
The water vanishes from around the vampire, H2O sighing and looking down at the "child" before him. "I can't very well play judge jury and executioner now can I? But I won't allow you to run around hurting people either... There's gotta be a better way than just attacking random people." H2O'S whip still hangs in his right hand, caution clear despite the mask blocking his face. Still, he's simply eyeing the vampire for any sudden moves right now. "At any rate, hopefully we can reach an agreement of some kind because I'd really prefer to avoid needless violence. I fight fires, dealing with other things isn't my job despite my willingness to help."
I'm agreeing with H2O here. I can't exactly kill you and sleep tight. But I can't exactly let you go either. We are going to have to find a way to reach a compromise. Sho detects a hint of hostility from the vampire which makes his arm tense up, holding the gun just shy of her, ready to fire again but showing restraint
The girl giggles, watching Sayaka with delight. She feels as though the way Sayaka drinks reminds her of something, but the girl can't remember what for the life of her. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to." The blonde-haired girl tilts her head, setting Sayaka's knife down once more. No real need to carry something like that anyways. "Please, don't mention it. Are you sure you'll be alright for now? I'd hate for you to get hurt again." The blonde girl looks back up at H2O, smiling at the older man "I think we're all fine now, she was just hungry. Thank you for being so understanding."
Suddenly, near the rest of the group a sudden burst of fire could be seen landing in the grass. Within the mass of firey would be a being made of ash. The being would squirm and struggle as the flames consumed it. Finally, a figure dressed in red and wooden colored armor would come up as if he was following the ashy being. "Thought I might have let one get away. Well, no need to keep it around any longer! This place is on fire and I'm the one to blame!" A flicker of fire would appear in the man's hand before he fires it off at the ashy being. The fire surrounding the being would seem to implode reducing it to nothing but a burnt pile. The grass around the impact would also ignite in flames. "That's taken care of. Time to get out of here before I disturb the other people in this area." The red-suited man would begin to start casually walking away. His presence would be obvious but he assumed no one would care.
H2O
The man takes his left hand and rubs at his mask, sighing as he looks at Rasa. "She tried to kill me, if I hadn't known what I'm doing and been expecting an attack I'd be a dead body by now." "Know what he's doing", sure he's got a few weeks of experience at this whole thing. But play it cool. "She was hungry, and she tried to kill a man over it. So as much as I hate to say it... Who's to say that the next person she goes for isn't a Rider, maybe they'll be some random innocent who ends up dead." He looks over at the vampire, eyeing her curiously as the water begins to ripple just a bit. "So tell me, how likely is my little guess hmm? I want to be wrong, but you don't seem overly concerned about people to be blunt. Convince me I'm wrong, plea-" The man's vision turns red for a moment, the smell if smoke and ash... He rushes off, looking around before hearing the shout and seeing the red and wood armor. H2O points at Match and shouts. "You! I've been looking for you since they gave me this suit you arsonist scum! Time to put out the fire!" H2O snaps his left fingers, a series of watery orbs rushing from the man's armor and aiming to fly into Match, save for a few which go to try and coat the ground around him instead. "Kamen Rider H2O, and I'm not letting you ruin the real Match's good name any longer!"
The vampire shows relief upon being freed, standing up and brushing the dirt and water off her dress. She glares at Mizui and Sho as they speak. She didn't seem to want to listen to him or Sho. She says something quietly under her breath. ...He looks like a robot and he makes water... like a toilet... Toilet Man... She then looked at Sho and muttered something else. ...His hair is stupid and he talks funny. Dumbass. After muttering something rude to both men, she looks up at Rasa. She speaks more clearly and comfortably to her. ...I'll be okay. I've been alone for a long time. I know what I'm doing. Umm... I hope I see you again, Onee-chan... Onee-chan is nice for a human... When the fire suddenly broke out, she seemed startled and hid behind Rasa. She glared at the fire, and the man that shot fire like they were something disgusting... It seemed she didn't like fire for some reason.
Onee-chan is initially startled by the appearance of a large amount of fire, the girl takes a deep breath, watching the figure start to walk off.... Only for the water guy from earlier to attack them. The girl mutters under her breath "not again...." The blonde-girl of course notices the vampire's somewhat extreme reaction to the fire outbreak.... Wasn't there something about fire..... Whatever it is, its obvious it makes the other girl highly uncomfortable. For now, Rasa simply looks back at the vampire, giving her a calm, reassuring smile. "Onee-chan sounds like a good name to me. But... What should I call you?" it seems the girl doesn't understand the meaning behind the name "Onee-chan", or at least doesn't think anything strange of it in this situation. She decides to simply try distracting the other girl for now, give them something to focus on other than the fire
Sayaka... No one has called me that in a long time, though... Sayaka seemed comforted by Rasa's presence as she stayed close to her, for reasons she couldn't understand. She still glanced at the fire and the man creating it to be cautious.
Match would turn around at the sound of H2O's shouting. He's fast enough to repel a few of the orbs with a quick burst of fire but the last one would hit him knocking him back. Match would regain his balance before staring at the rider before him. "H20? So, they hired another rider to replace Match? Shows how much they cared about his position if he was so easily replaceable. Do you think your suit is fire-proof? Well, this suit is completely fire-proof but I can guarantee yours is not." Match would pull out a small glass ball from his belt that seemed to incase a wooden ball. He'd open the hatch on his belt before inserting the wooden ball capsule and then quickly close the hatch while turning up a knob on the side of the belt. "Turning up the heat!" [Heat up!] [Forest Fire! Charcoal!] Match's belt would begin bursting into flames as his entire suit seemed to be covered in fire. Soon the fire would subside but his suit would not have its wooden parts replaced with chalky black charcoal. In his hands, he held a sword that was also made of what appeared to be charcoal. He'd point the blade towards H20 in an arrogant manner. "Now, I'll reduce you to cinders!" Match in one concise movement would swing the blade causing a stream of black powder to fly at H20. Anything the powder hit would gain a black mark across it.
H2O
The man scoffs, replaced? He can never replace Match. "I'm no replacement you faker, in fact this suit was originally made to deal with floods... See, back in the day the real Match saved my life. I was actually studying under him, till... You know." Despite his anger, there's clear sadness in H2O'S voice as he stares down Match. Even so, he's not about to stop moving. As the black powder flies at him H2O swings his whip, the watery weapon shifting and taking the shape of a wall of water between H2O and match's powder, aiming to catch the charcoal and soak it. "As for being fire proof? No not entirely, but I can assure you this suit is highly resistant, even to those flames my mentor used!" Assuming there's water on the ground near Match, the other Rider would find it forming a tendril and aiming to slam his leg down brutally.
The blonde girl smiles at Sayaka and grabs the other girl's hand "That's a shame, Sayaka's a wonderful name." The girl holds Sayaka's hand tightly and starts taking a few steps away from the fight, if the fire's making her this uncomfortable it would probably be best to get a little extra distance, besides, it looks like neither of the men in armor are likely to pay that much attention to their surroundings, best not to get hit by accident "You said you've been alone for a while. What was it like?
The charcoal would, in fact, become soaked inside the water but they wouldn't seem to be washed away either. "Studying under him? I don't have time to play with some Rider wannabe, I'm busy." Match would notice the Tendril as it grabbed onto him allow it to slam his leg against the ground. He'd slowly try to get back up taking another swing with the charcoal blade to send another wave of powder at either H20 or his watery wall.
Sayaka blushes and looks down at Rasa's hands. She holds her hands in turn, a small smile finally forming on her face. It's like she's completely forgotten about the fight. She quickly shakes her smile and blush off however. Being alone isn't so bad... I take care of myself... I can't think about the past anymore. I only wanna live as I am now. As a vampire. And become strong enough to become a True Vampire... I... I wanna know your name too, Onee-chan...
becoming a True Vampire? She makes it sound like some kind of ranking system. This Sayaka has a point, the blonde girl supposes, about forgetting their past. If nothing else she should respect their wishes. The blonde girl notices Sayaka's blush, but decides not to mention it, instead playfully jabbing at the girl "Oh, so you wanted to be alone after all? Maybe I shouldn...." At the mention of her own name, the blonde girl pauses for a moment, closing her eyes as she looks downward. After a few seconds, she merely shakes her head "I'd like to know that too Sayaka. But I don't remember anything past a short while before your fight with that armored guy."
H2O
H2O takes deep breath, focusing on the suit's mental effect and using it to keep himself calm. With that, he'd wave his hands toward Match and send the wall of water rushing toward him, leaping up and backward to try and gain some distance, but his lower right leg is still coated in powder. "Wannabe? I'm more a Rider than you'll ever be that's certain. You can insult me all you want faker I don't care, but insulting Match's memory? That makes me a bit angry." He focuses, water bending around his hand and taking the shape of a rifle after a moment. Made solid in moments, H2O pulls down the trigger and begins firing at Match with a flurry of shots, most of which he seems to be aiming low so they'd coat the ground. For now, the water that had attacked Match just sits and waits.
The cyan-Haired boy still wander aimlessly, looking for bugs.
Sayaka blinked at Rasa. How peculiar... Could she have amnesia? She helped her, so... Even though they were different, Sayaka wanted to help her too. Then, I'll just call you Onee-chan for now... Umm... Can I follow you for awhile...? It's okay if you don't have a place to stay... I don't either... Abandoned buildings work for me...
Onee-chan closes her eyes for a moment, before smiling back at Sayaka"Of course I don't mind. In fact, its probably better this way."The girl ruffles Sayaka's hair for a moment, left hand placed on her hip "That way I can make sure you don't get in trouble again." That said, the girl would pause for a moment, glancing around the field. "Its just... Well, I don't know this place that well. Or... At all really. We might be better off if you took the lead."
Match would begin back away before pulling out another wood capsule. He would try to keep a distance from where H2O was aiming while also placing the wooden capsule into the hatch on his belt. "Turning up the temperature all the way!" [Overheat!!!] Match would quickly stick the sword into the ground as flames begin coming out of the belt to surround it. The charcoal within the water before would suddenly burst into flames that would most likely cause the water to turn into steam. The charcoal marks that hit H20's before would also begin burning brightly before igniting in flames. "I don't have time for this. Stay out of my way unless you want to be burned worse!" With that Match would use the cover of the steam to escape, if no steam was made then he'd simply try to get away from H20 to make an escape without the cover of the steam.
H2O
The water does, in fact, turn to steam, but Match might note it taking far longer than usual... In fact, by the time the flames inside the water have burned it up, they're entirely put out down to cinders and ash. "I'm not about to go down that easily "Match", now th-" The man cries out in pain as his leg lights on fire, despite that, however, his suit is holding up fairly well as he had claimed it would. Water rushing from it to quash down the flames as H2O slams his hand into the fire, after a few moments he's fine save for a heated up suit... HEATED UP! [FLOW SHIFT!] [BLAZING LIQUID! [BOILING WATER!] H2O's suit shifts, small vents growing from the shoulders as the water it's made up of begins to bubble and heats up. Despite the steam in his path, the man chases after Match as best he can and pulls the flask off his belt. [OVERFLOW IMMINENT!] [FLASH FLOOD WARNING!] All of the water H2O has spread about the area comes to life at once, a pair of hoses also come from slots on his gauntlets. The man aims them toward the general area of Match, vast amounts of boiling water pour from the hoses as the water on the ground forms into various tendrils and flails about. Widespread attacks all aiming to slam into Match by covering a wide area, of course as soon as he got one hit H2O would begin to focus in on his foe. If he even got any.
Sayaka pouts like a kid as Rasa rustles her hair and blushes. Secretly however, she was happy to have someone accept her for who she is. I always stay out of trouble... An obvious lie. She has probably been doing this for awhile. She raises her head and takes Onee-chan's hand in hers. Umm... You helped me, so, I'll protect you, Onee-chan... It isn't much but I know where to hide... umm, I sleep during the day though... the sun burns... I hope that's okay...
A black SUV would pull up on the side of the dirt road leading to the hill, and a college-age girl with lavender hair in a fancy ponytail steps out of the car to unload her belongings for a weekend camping trip as well as several weapons she often uses when fighting Shadows: a 6-foot naginata with a detachable blade, a modified pair of Dapple Dualies, and a simple rapier. Next comes the camping essentials: a canopy tent, a sleeping bag, several changes of clothes, a cooler with rations and the means to secure them from the native critters, a Swiss army knife, a crossbow, and a hunting rifle with extra rounds of ammunition. In the distance, she can hear a fierce battle going on. "What a way to kill the stillness of the night," she thinks. She carries her stuff over to a good spot, where another group has already made camp. There's no use in moving over to another area this late, so she drops her things and decides to introduce herself. "Good evening guys," she says, briefly waving with two fingers as if she was swiping on an invisible tablet. "Name's Rosie. So, you guys all one group, or are you camping out separately?"
Match would continue trying to maneuver away from the water with a remarkable amount of speed but despite his speed, the water was still vast in quantity and thus he couldn't evade it forever. He would pull out a different capsule this time with something shiny inside. The charcoal armor had already peeled off from using his overheat attack before so he was good to shift forms again. "I see your game, boiling water! You know, people have an interesting way of containing boiling water and I'd hate for your flooding to destroy any more of this beautiful hill. Seems you got carried away but that's expected of a rookie. Don't worry though, I'll clean up this mess you've made! Turning up the heat! Henshin!" Match inserts the strange capsule into his belt before closing the hatch. Suddenly rather than bursting into flames a liquid of sorts begins surrounding Match. It would be glowing a bright red as it wrapped around him and fused with his armor. His whole suit would go from red and wood to a shiny glowing metallic color. [Heat up!] [Molten Metal! Forge!] Out of the molten metal a glowing hammer forms in Match's hands. It would be massive in size to the point where it would be surprising a single man could wield such a weapon. "Time to get to work! Forge Hammer!!!" He quickly slams the hammer onto the ground causing a wave of molten metal to splash out around him. The metal would be his attempt at making a barrier to keep the water from chasing after him any further. After creating his barrier he would continue to run, trying to get away from this unnecessary battle.
Among the sounds of conversation between the group, they can hear the sound of footsteps approaching up the hill. If they were to look in the direction of the footsteps, they would spot a man wearing a rather blood drenched blue track suit with a wooden baseball bat, which is also covered in blood, resting on his shoulder. The brim of his black cap covers his eyes menacingly. As he walks past the group, they can hear him mutter the phrase "Fucking spies" to himself. Taking a seat on the grass a few feet away from the group, dropping his blood covered baseball bat on the ground, he lays back on the grass, watching the stars quietly.
The blonde girl grins and grasps Sayaka's hand in both of her own, holding them up almost as though praying "Of course its alright. I'll try not to do too much without you, that way you can do your best to keep me safe. Hopefully you won't even need to hide soon." The blonde girl gives Sayaka a reassuring smile, before looking over to the new arrival "I can't really speak for the guys in armor, but it looks like Sayaka and I are going together." The girl looks down for a moment, practically whispering "though I guess we can't really sleep out here, otherwise the sun..."
H2O
The water would in fact stop, and more than that... With a muttered curse all of the water H2O had been tossing about suddenly returns to his suit, melding back into the solid water armor and rushing into his flask. "Hmmp, don't assume that I'm incapable of containing my own floods Match. This suit was built with fighting against floods in mind, after all, it'd be pitiful if I couldn't handle that much don't you think?" The man's rifle vanishes as well, hoses returning into his suit and on the whole, he appears to no longer be battle ready. In fact, the man's suit itself breaks down and flows back into his flask before he places the cork back on the device. "Tch, just know that the fire department is done taking your actions laying down! One of these days I will put a stop to your mad quest of arson, but as of this moment I'll stop, if only because I don't want to cause any more damages around here!" In contrast to the cool and collected tone he'd had in the armor, the young man staring over at Match would sound quite heated, full of energy and spunk. He'd run a hand through spiked up black hair and straighten out his tie. He'd then walk off and return to the two young girls, smiling at them with an apologetic look on his face. "Um... Sorry you had to see all that mess, let's just say that guy and I have... History of a sort, but uh I'll try to make sure not to cause too many damages!" He'd rub the back of his head, a sheepish grin appearing on his face as he looks toward the two. "Anyway, uh vamp-... No Sayaka you said right? I'm Mizui Namiko and it's nice to meet you properly! Sorry about the rocky start, but hopefully we'll be able to get along!" He'd smile brightly and wave at the girl, there's an infectious cheer in his voice as he looks over at her hopefully.
Rosie notices the scout lay down in the tall grass close to her camp as she sets up. He looks very much beat, but it'd be a shame if he got caught in the crossfire of the two Riders' battle in this state, so she approaches him and tosses him a canteen. "Hey man," she says. "I brought an extra tent by mistake, so why don't you take it for the night? Hard ground's not the best place to sleep, and I'm more worried about the carnivores picking up on your blood scent than those two Kamen Riders at our 3 o'clock destroying the place with their fighting."
Sayaka blushes at Onee-chan using her name with no honorifics, but otherwise stays collected as she holds her hands. I do need to hide... I'm different... But, that's okay. Once I get stronger, I may even be able to be in the sunlight. And, maybe... She trails off, reconsidering what she was about to say. She shouldn't reveal such a thing to a human, even if she is nice... She was different, after all. Sayaka is a little put off by Mizui's sudden change of tone. She tilts her head. So your name isn't Toilet Man...? Well... My name is Sayaka. Yoshino. Though my family name doesn't mean anything anymore... ...I still don't trust you... But if Onee-chan wants to be friends, then it's okay, I guess... Sayaka looked away, expression unchanging. Kuudere to core. She glances at Rosie, but says nothing and prefers to stick close to Onee-chan, or Rasa.
Upon hearing Rosie trying to get his attention, The Scout looks over to her with a small "Hm?" sound coming out of his mouth. He flicks the brim of his black cap up, revealing his eyes a little. Actually girly, I'm not plannin' on sleeping out here for the night. I'm just here to get the thought of a uh, "recent event" outta my head. As for his blood scent, The Scout didn't really notice how much blood was on his track suit and didn't seem to care one bit about it. Eh, carnivores won't be too much of a hassle to take care of, ya know? By the way, the hell's a Kamen Rider? You talkin' 'bout those two guys in the weird armor back there?
H2O
The man laughs, blunt little thing, isn't she? Well, he can respect that! "Hah, that's fine... The tone changing around is messing with ya, right? Long story short, that fancy little suit of armor is magic, which I'm sure comes as no shock to anyone right? But, neat side effect about the artifacts used in making em is that they affect the user personality, shifting it to be more like their element!" He'd reach down and pull the belt off his waist, placing it back inside of his briefcase and snapping the thing closed with a grin on his face. "Now, as you might guess water is all calm and cool and stuff! But as for me... I'm a lot less calm and cool normally, also much friendlier or so I'd like to think!" He pulls the briefcase up, looking over curiously toward Scout and that new woman as he does so. "Anyway, either of you kids got parents or anything? I uh... Well, I could cook up a story about arson if you need a place to stay, government aid is a lot easier to get when ya work for em after all! And my department has been running a program to get homes for people put out on the streets by fires."
Onee-chan watches Sayaka, its obvious that the girl cut herself off, but it would be rude to ask what for, so the blonde girl remains silent. She offers Sayaka a reassuring smile. "I'm glad you two are getting along a little better. Had a... Bit of a rough start." Onee-chan laughs in hopes of lightening that little reference a bit, before looking back at Mizui. The girl tilts her head and closes her eyes, eyebrows furrowed "I don't really know. First thing I remember is waking up here...." Onee-chan glances back at Sayaka, before quickly turning away in an attempt to hide her concern "But I kinda need to make sure Sayaka here doesn't get into trouble. So I guess its up to her."
"Yeah," says Rosie, returning to her camp. She places a strange device on the ground just outside of the tent and configures it with a few taps. "As far as I'm concerned, they're just people with powers like most Nexus residents." The device glows a faint blue once it's done setting up. "There," Rosie says to herself. "Velvet Room mobile access point should be set." The water-wielding Rider returns from the fight looking rather embarrassed. At least he owned up to ruining the evening's mood. The scout seems sure of himself, Eito's long gone, Sho has to be around here somewhere, the two girls seem rather uneasy after that commotion, and Jiyu... Rosie's not sure what Jiyu's doing. She did catch the front half of his tournament fight with Quintus on her phone while working a private investigation, but decides it'd be best not to bring it up now.
Sig passes right by Rosie, since he's chasing a bug to catch. He almost knocks her over, but doesn't."
Sayaka seemed to ease up on Mizui a bit, but the skeptibility is still there after they were just fighting not long ago. The promise of a place to stay was tempting, though... At the mention of parents, Sayaka gave an odd expression before her expression returns to normal. My parents are dead... But... A place to stay sounds nice, but... I always did better alone... and the government can't be trusted. They only care about humans... She looked at Onee-chan, however, and had complicated thoughts... She has nowhere to go, and Sayaka knows how hard it is to be homeless. At the least, she wanted to help Onee-chan after she saved her life. She gripped both of her hands. I... I want Onee-chan to have a good place... So we'll go, if she wants to...
Ooc: I'm just going to put out that Jiyu left right after Eito left. I just didn't feel like typing it.
Onee-chan looks back down at Sayaka, its obvious they're not quite comfortable with the idea of getting this much help. Onee-chan smiles and ruffles Sayaka's hair "I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides, if they try to do anything, I'll be there to protect you, ok?" That said... Sayaka said "they only care about humans." If nothing else, the girl doesn't look that different from herself, Onee-chan gets an idea and leans in a little closer to Mizui "I... If its not too much of a bother, I would like that.. Just... Don't tell them about Sayaka being a vampire. I... We don't want anyone to jump to conclusions. She's really quite nice"
"Watch it, dude!" she yells, dodging his beeline for a lone firefly. "Good grief, man, you got tunnel vision or something?" She turns to Mizui "Mr. Water Rider" Namiko as she opens up a can of soup and pours it into a pot suspended over a small campfire she had prepared sometime during his fight with the other Rider. "Got a family back in the US," she says, adjusting one of the strange bangles on her wrists. "They were surprised when I told them I wanted to go to college here in the Nexus, but it worked out better than they expected."
Sig's beeline*
With a sigh, The Scout looks back up at the stars, quiet as ever. He pushes the brim of his cap down once again, covering his eyes.
H2O
Only care about humans... Well, that's true but frankly speaking, he can't really blame them for it. All his instincts are telling him this kid is dangerous, but even so, he'll still try and help her! "I mean, they won't know you're any different than a human so long as nobody starts ending up dead around the place or something! Just don't hurt anyone and they won't be of any harm to you Sayaka." She's not gonna hurt anyone right? Sure she was uh... Animal-ish at first, but he's always wanted to think the best and give people a chance! He'd then glance between the two of them. Geez, one with no memory and the other with dead parents. These kids clearly needed someone to help out. "Anyway, I'm not gonna try and push anything off on you two... But I can say that I highly suggest against being homeless ya know? My family almost ended up like that back when I was younger, would have if Match didn't help us out..." The man nods at Rasa, his fists forming balls as he looks down a bit at the mention of the real Match. As for letting anyone know about Sayaka... "Don't worry, no one would buy it if even I said it! Funny considering they know I've got a flask that leads to an endless void of water, but apparently vampires are too out there? Either way, I'll keep that bit quiet for you two!" The man reaches into his business suit, digging out a bit of paper and two keys from it. He'd hand the paper to Rasa, along with offering each of the two a key. "Here's the address, and keys of course! Anyway uh, the place should have a fridge, a bed, all that stuff... But I doubt there's any food, oh and the phone number on that paper is mine by the way. For some unknown reason, the place has a... Landline? I think it's called that, I don't use anything but cellphones so I'm not sure why! But if ya need to get in touch please do! Anyways, it's been nice meeting you both but I've gotta head out! Paperwork to be done so nobody questions you two moving in, filling out a report on that meeting with the Faker, and of course a firefighter's work is never done!" With that Mizui dashes off into the night, after a while one might hear the roar of a motorcycle engine turning on. The man himself grinning below a helmet as he cruises through city streets and off to "his lair", AKA Tokyo Fire Department.
Rosie's also certain that Circe and Daora left long before she got to the campsite. It was too bad; Rosie wanted to ask Daora a few questions pertaining to her investigation. She takes her soup off the heat and blows on each spoonful before slurping up each bite. Once she's done eating, she quietly takes the canteen the scout didn't accept and retires to her tent after gazing up at the stars one last time, making a wish on a shooting star or two. "Well good night everyone," she calls. "And don't worry, Onee-san, your secret's safe with me."
Sayaka blushes again upon her hair being ruffled. She still can't get used to that... The thought of being "protected" gave her a strange expression. If anything, she wanted to be the one to protect Onee-chan... She was a human after all, even if she was bigger than her... it still tugged at her heartstrings and made her tear up, however. I... I'll protect you too, Onee-chan... from anything... Her resolve hardened as she wiped her eyes and looked at Mizui. Don't hurt people, he says... What was she supposed to do? She was already villainized, and Onee-chan might not always be around... and she did not want to go into blood frenzy ever again. She nodded regardless to Mizui, as this was a chance for Onee-chan as well. She accepts her key and stands on her tiptoes, trying to peer at the paper she was holding. Goodbye, Mizui-san... ...Umm... Atleast you can have a roof over your head, Onee-chan. Both of us...
Onee-chan accepts her own key as well as the paper, fortunately how to read is not among the list of things she forgot, so she could probably determine what it is just fine. Onee-chan notices Sayaka trying to read it too and holds the paper lower to make it easier.Lets agree to protect each other then, alright? Onee-chan giggles and puts one arm around Sayaka, they really were so much like a child, regardless of circumstance "And you won't need to hide so much. Sure there's nothing we can do about the sun thing, but hey, two kids like us, worst we'll get is a question or two about curfew."
Sayaka is, surprisingly, able to read it. She got atleast a couple years into elementary before turning. She repeats the coordinates on the paper slowly enough to be understood before standing normally again and looking back up at her. She gives a determined nod. Mm. I'll definitely protect you. For sure. As mature as Sayaka tried to be, her size just killed it. When Onee-chan puts her arm around her, her cold body feels warm for a moment. She stands stunned for a moment before leaning into her. She chuckles for the first time at her joke. Hmhm... that's right. We're just two naughty kids breaking curfew, right? nothing weird about us... Atleast, I don't feel as weird... as long as you stick with me... Sayaka flashed a rare smile with a blush. In a short time, this girl made Sayaka feel... somewhat human again. It was nice, even if it was only temporary.
"What a team we make, the know-nothing girl and her little guardian angel" Onee-chan stresses the "little" by squeezing Sayaka a little, she makes no attempt to push the... Well, shorter if not younger girl away, calmly stroking her hair with a smile "Maybe we should get going soon. It looks like its a pretty long walk, and we wanna get there before night's over." Onee-chan would keep hugging Sayaka tightly to her chest, but is ready to let go in case its time to start walking after all, it was starting to get la... Or, well, starting to get early more like it.
Sayaka nods, suddenly hugging her Onee-chan tightly. Her skin was cold, dead cold, but against her it felt a little warmer. Sayaka hadn't embraced anyone like this in a long time, and even then, this was special. She almost didn't wanna let go... She sadly had to seperate herself, however, cheeks red as she did so. She never let go of her hand, however. Mm... We should get there. The sun burns, so... I won't let anything weird happen, so stay close to me. Sayaka held her hand tightly and walked with her away from the hillside, not letting go. Hand in hand with the same girl she initially targeted upon coming here. Funny how life works out... The small vampire, if only for a time, was happy, for the first time in awhile, even if she couldn't show it with facial expressions.
