"Eh?" The word escaped from the young girls lips. On her way home from a study session with her friends she decided to take a shortcut only to realize there was someone in front of her.

Tightening her grip on the straps of her backpack that looked like teddy bear that was strapped to her back.

*Hat Kid sighs as she puts away her Umbrella and looks at Mirei* "Hi" *Hat Kid would say while friendly waving to her*

Showing a bit of caution as she looks at the kid in fron of her she akwardly waves back. "Cosplay?" She muttered wandering if the kid might be a ball of trouble

Niko's just walking around, he doesn't really care that it's nighttime. His headphones are on full blast, you can kinda hear the audio coming from it. "Sad that this place doesn't have much of a nightlife."

*Hat Kid would look at Mirei in confusion before sighing... She needed to find those Time Pieces before someone bad finds them*

"Is there a problem? Or more like why are you here this time of night...not like i have the right to say that" she said trailing off at the end

"Im looking for something, something important" *Hat Kid did not wanted to say what she was looking for and why, since she does not trust Mirei*

"You seem desparate so....I mean. If u need help I still have time before curfew....kind of" Mirei said as she looked at the girl that seemed about her age if not a little younger. Helping the kid might bring her a little good karma later anyway.

"You should go home, I can find it by myself" *Hat Kid said soon turning around and walks away from Mirei*

Worried that the little girl might get into trouble if left to her own devices she began to follow her. Besides, she's just a kid. If she was to get in trouble she might not be able to get away. Technically, as a princess isn't it her job to protect the defenseless. Gaining her resolve she no longer hesitates to help the girl. At the very least watch over her.

"Did her hat just change!? Whats with that speed? Wait, is she a magi?" Suprised at what she just saw she stops for a few moments to look at the girl. This may actually be little more dangerous than she thought if it involves magic. She draws a symbol in the air and a magic circle appears. Upon disappearing her body gave off a dim blue lighf that faded out. She then ran to catch up to the girl.

*Hat Kid soon walks up to the Time Piece to grab it until a some shadowy balls looking things go up to the Time Piece and gose around it, soon covering the whole Time Piece and making a body... a body that looks like the same size as Hat Kid but all shadowy and with black hole looking eyes* "What the?" *The shadowy thing arm changes into claw and trys to attack Hat Kid with its claws but Hat Kid's hat change once more into the Brewing Hat. As she came closer she saw the monster appear and attack the girl. Without thinking she wrote a symbol into the air. A magic circle appears and a ball of lightning forms. It shoots forward at the monster with a shockwave following it. She then stops a couple feet away from hat kid as she sees her throw explosives at the creature. "Mind explaining after"

*The shadowy monster was almost defeated, since the Time Piece was showing a bit. Mirei could, see three badges that were on Hat Kid's hat (Projectile Badge, Fast Hatter Badge, and Hookshot Badge)* *Hat Kid charges up her umbrella before firing a laser (using her umbrella) at the monster, defeating it and not harming the Time Piece... Hat Kid would walk up and grab the Time Piece, soon putting it into her pocket and looks at Mirei*

"So are you a magi and what are those badges? Whats going on?" She asked a bit nervous. This wasn't going to be a calm night

*Hat Kid walks to the wall and sits down before looking at Mirei* "I get my Powers from my Hats and my Badges... but I dont know what happen but i think some shadow monster wanted my Time Piece to use it to become strong somehow"

"Shadow monster? So it wasn't a chimera? Who exactly are you?" Staring into hat kids eyes. She needed to know exactly what it was she was dealing with.

*Hat Kid rubs the back of her head as she slightly looks to the left... kinda shy about telling Mirei her name* "Just give me a nickname..."

Puting her hand to her chin she closes her eyes and ponders for a few moments before turning her gaze back to the kid. "I don't know much about you so for now how about Hat-chan. I'll try to come up with something better. So i have a really important question. Are u a magi?"

*Hat Kid looks at Mirei in confusion* "What's a magi?"

Mireis face becomes devoid of hope for a few moments before she collapses on the ground. "Papas going to kill me. I used magic right in front of a normal human. But how was i supposed to know? She used augmentation magic but i guess that was my misunderstanding huh?" She grabbed her head as if she was in pain

"Dont worry, I wont tell anyone... so I might as well tell you about these Time Pieces. Well First of all they power my Spaceship and well can rewind time... and a bunch of other things... "I....thank you." She said with relief as she stood back up. "The ability to rewind time is indeed a dangerous ability. Also, did you just say spaceship? As in a ship in space?" She paused for a few moments as she thought about how the night was already going and decided it would be best to not think on it too much. "No nevermind. So do you have all tbe pieces or are u still missing some. Since I'm already involved I might as well see this through to the end. Also, my name is Mirei Ebonhart."

"Do you have any idea why new pieces are popping up? Its strange that something so powerful would suddenly start spawning like a game monster." she asks with a slight head tilt

"I dont have any clues on why they are popping up or why monsters are appearing... its strange, well stranger then what i have already seen" Im going to go to bed...

Alright im back *Hat Kid soon got up and sighs for a moment before looking around to see if anyone else was around*

Out of the corner of his eye Yashiro notices a strange blue huge hourglass. He parks nearby and gets out of the car to examine it "OwO wat's this?" Yashiro picks up the time piece and puts it into the shotgun seat of his car. He then begins to drive away "This make a nice souvenir"

*Hat Kid saw the Time Piece getting taken away by a strange man. She cant let a random person who might find out about the power of the Time Piece and abuse it for his own personal gain*

a 6th grader is biking along when he spots hat kid. he stops and says "oh hey! you were that kid 6 was talking about. Need a ride?"

*Hat Kid looks at the 6th grader then at the car... She can find the person who stole the time piece later thanks to her normal hat...* "No thanks"
