Another hat(girl/adult)
In a alleyway what appears to be a very shadowy door
suddenly appears a adult verison of Hat Kid walks out of it, soon the shadowy door vanishes and the Adult Hat Kid looks around as she looks at her right arm which some darkness seems to be spiraling around it before vanishing
"alright, time to get this day started"
Adult Hat Kid walks out of the alleyway looking around seeing not alot of people were out, mostly thanks to them being at work. Adult Hat Kid walks down the street to maybe find her younger self in this world... (grumbs) and maybe to find a restaurant, maybe a fast food restaurant
Mirei was sitting at the window seat in a cafe as a parfait had been brought out in front of her. She took the long spoon and and admired the parfait. She had heard at her school just how good it was from her classmates and had been wanting to try it for the past couple of days. She finally convinced her mom to give her a little money and now here she was. After a few moments she finally took a scoop of it and tasted it. As the explosion of cold fruity flavors stimulated her tongue she felt her cheeks relax as a big smile came upon her visage. As she was about to take another bite she saw hat adult outside and immediately thought it was hat kid. After realizing the big height difference she decided to continue eating her parfait. Nothing could get in the way of her current enjoyment.
*Hat Adult looks at the cafe and smiles as she soon enters it. Hat Adult looks around for moment, noticing Mirei but does not say anything as she soon went to the counter and got some food and pay for it, Soon Hat Adult walks to a table next to Mirei and sits down and starts eatting... Soon giving Mirei a wink*
Mirei didn't pay much attention to hat adult at first but when she sat at the table next to her she glanced over and saw her wink. Mirei froze in place as the spoon fell from her hand.
"No way....Hat-chan?" she said with a trembling hand.
*Hat Adult sighs soon taking her food and goes and sits down on the opposite side of the table that Mirei is sitting. Hat Adult smiles gently*
"Hi Mirei"
*Hat Adult soon notices Mirei's hand trembling*
"Dont worry, im not this world's Hat-chan. You dont need to worry about that"
Mirei stares blank faced for a few seconds until hat kids voice brings her back.
"This worlds?....Oh god" she face palms and continues "Is this a multiverse thing? It's a multiverse thing isn't it? So whats happening?" she said as she began to eat her parfait again.
"Nothing is happening and yes its a multiverse thing but dont worry nothing bad is happening really well at least not here and the other nexus universe... It's gone, dont ask how but it's just gone"
*Some what appears to be a darkness floating in a circle around Hat Adult's right arm appears for a moment before vanishing*
"Why is your arm carrying a temporial degradation darkness that eats at the world around it? Or is that something else?" Mirei nervously laughs it off as she turns back to her parfait "Obviously its not right. Hahaha."
*Hat Adult chuckles*
"Of course it's not that kinda of darkness, it's just The Snatcher. I will show you him once we leave and get to a more private area"
*Hat Adults finishes eatting her food*
*Hat Adult sighs and wounders how she is going to have to explain everything it Mirei*
Niko enters the cafe and decides to just take a seat and look at the menu.
"...Wonder what they got here."
He doesn't take notice of the other cafegoers.
Alex would have been watching hat adult from a roof and decided to follow her into the cafe. When he entered, he decided to sit at the same table across from Niko. "Hello.."
*Hat Adult looks at the two people who have entered the cafe, Niko does not look like a threat but Alex does seem like one... Hat Adult thinks (hmmm... wait what... oh hes been watching me, ok... Better keep a eye on him)*
Niko looks up from the menu and stares at Alex.
"Hey buddy, ever heard of not just randomly sitting with strangers? It might do you good."
He'll probably order pancakes and a coffee with cream and sugar. If they have pancakes, of course.
Ths door to the café opens just before a blue haired beanie wearing teenager steps inside, surveying the interior.
“How surprising, I found a decent looking café for once.â€
He walks over to a random table, taking a seat on one of the chairs before resting his now folded hands on the table.
After hearing that, Alex had 3 choices; be normal and get a different table, get all necromancerlike and suck souls, or create a large field of darkness and escape. In the end, he decided to just dim the room somewhat and go to another table and order a coffee.
*Hat Adult sighs as she looks around, maybe she should leave or stay and risk getting attack by a bad guy... Hat Adult took the risk and stayed*
"Hmm.." Alex was drinking that coffee now and he had a random, impulsive idea. He would send a floating skull under the tables to Hat Adult with a message: You look like someone I saw before... Hat Kid was it? my bad for spying.
*Hat Adult looks a the message before taking out a piece of paper and wrights something down and puts it in the mouth of the floating skull*
Alex would recall the skull, fully ready to create a distraction and get the fuck out of there
*The piece of paper said "you are correct but im a older version of Hat Kid or what ever my name was, I kinda have forgotten but im not from this world but from another, its alright if you want to talk to me"*
Having already ordered something, with that thing being a simple can of Coke, Jiyu would push the unopened red can off to the side just to drink it later. After doing so, he would reach inside his jacket pocket, pulling out a phone in a blue case before beginning to swipe and tap away on the device’s screen.
Niko recieves his pancakes and coffee and begins to dig in, having a few sips of coffee every now and again.
"Eh, not as good as my mom's pancakes..."
"Welp, considering we're surrounded by suspicious people do you want to go somewhere a little more private?" Mirei says as she finishes her parfait
OOC: Sorry about that, suddenly got really busy at work but i think I'm good now
*Hat Adult nods as she gets up and walks out of the cafe*
Mirei follows as she thinks about ordering things off of the secret menu next time. The things on the main menu were alright but they were mostly there for people who wanted a decent meal without paying much. Yes, the secret menu for sure next time. Mirei walks out after Hat Adult with a new found resolve.
*Hat Adult soon walks into the alleyway as the shadow thing from earlier appears on her right arm and it spirals around her arm. Hat Adult looks around before seeing if Mirei had followed her into the alleyway*
Niko finishes off his coffee and notices the two leave the cafe.
"This is a bad idea, buuuut...."
He follows them out, making sure to stay hidden.
Mirei stepped into the alley after Hat adult. After she finally stopped thinking about the secret menu she caught onto what hat adult said earlier. The other nexus was gone? Not to ask about it? How can you just drop a bombshell like 'Yeah, another world just poofed and disappeared but it cool'....like hell it was! That was not something you can just say and not expect someone to be curious about it. After she entered the alley she put her hand on the wall and a brownish red magic circle flashed.
"It may not look like it but from outside the alley this will look like a dead end now. So....what exactly is that?" she said while staring at the darkness on hat adults arm
"Alright... 5 4 3 2 1..."

The Snatcher: Hello!
*The darkness on Hat Adult's arm seems to slightly gone besides a very small trail going to The Snatcher*
Putting away his phone, Jiyu realizes that three people had already left the café and strangely at the same time. He knows that following the people that left would seem kind of rude, but his curiosity made it seem like it was not a big deal to see what was going on.
“Whatever.â€
Setting the payment for his drink on the table, Jiyu stand’s up with his drink in hand, and exits the café, stealthily pursuing the group.
"Hoh. Is this a familiar?" Mirei asked as she looked over it.
She wasn't that surprised since she saw a lot of different kinds of familiars back home. Though the fact it just talked did startle her a little. Most familiars didn't have the ability to talk much less express independent thought. Though she was a little jealous since she wasn't old enough to be allowed to summon her own just yet.
"Hello snatcher-san. So what exactly can it do?" She asked hoping for a more in depth explanation.
Niko listens intently.
"...What is that?..."
He just watches this while hiding.
The Snatcher: No im not a familiar!
*Hat Adult sighs*
"This is The Snatcher, I fought him when I was at kid or aka the age you saw the younger me. He used to be a prince, the princess thought he was cheating on her when he was just buying some flowers and he became this... He also stole my soul thanks to a contract but I got my soul back
by fighting him and we become bffs when I was the age you saw the younger me... we were BFFs and well to make it eailer on you.... After some long time, he started giving me power or well It's just him staying with me and yeah... Hopeful I said that good enough"
“Well whatever it is, it kinda looks like trouble.â€
A voice rings out nearby Niko. If he would look in the direction of the voice, he would see Jiyu hiding as well while looking at the purple monster.
“By the way, you gotta get some better hiding spots, kid. It didn’t even take me a few seconds to spot you.â€
Niko looks over to Jiyu. He laughs nervously.
"Hehe, I'll be fair I'm not the best at hiding."
He sorta remembers Jiyu's face.
"Hey wait, aren't you that guy that grabbed stuff with your persona or something?"
Mirei felt like she heard a story was chopped up and fed through a blender. She didn't exactly understand fully what Hat adult was saying so she put all of her processing power onto deciphering the mysterious language she just heard. All the gears in her head began to move in overtime as she analyzed every bit of info she heard.
"SO let me get this straight. He used to be human....But then his girlfriend thought he was cheating so she cursed him and he became a shadow....thing. After that you fought him and became friends....and because of how long you two have been together your gained powers from him." She said while rubbing the bridge of her nose.
After actually saying it out loud it sounded weird. Absolutely strange. But still not the weirdest thing she ever heard. If she understood correctly then that would mean that this snatcher was victim of a huge misunderstanding. Mirei cast eyes of pity towards the snatcher and gave a light bow towards him.
"You have my deepest sympathies"
“Hmm... Oh yeah, I knew I recognized you from somewhere. And- Wait a minute, you know about personas?â€
Jiyu was surprised that a kid as young as the one he’s talking to is familiar with personas. He would be even more surprised if the kid was a persona user himself.
"Yea... I tried my best alright. It's been some years and it's kinda hard to explain stuff"
The Snatcher: Hey, you dont need to be like that... i've done some bad things after I became this... a lot of people's souls are gone thanks to me but now the contracts are only used for what you guys call shadows to make them be like her Persona but not... Hard to explain how that works, I use do it...
*The Snatcher soon changed his form to be what appears to be like Hat Adult but purple all around excpet the eyes and mouth which are hello*

Niko smirks and unholsters his evoker.
"Knew about 'em even before I got this thing. Let's just say that I did my research."
Jiyu looks down at the gun-like device in Niko’s hand curiously. He was debating whether the object was an actual gun or a mechanism used to bring out his persona.
“A gun? What’s that have to do with summoning personas?â€
Niko thought Jiyu would know. Guess he has to explain it.
"This is an evoker. It's a way to summon personas, it honestly kinda sucks though with all the unholstering and holstering. Plus the thing also causes stress which is really tiring, I wish I would've faced my shadow or something."
"I see. That's really handy. Though I don't know exactly what the implications of what you did in the other world were but if you feel really bad about it then you just have to do the right thing for now on right?"
Mirei pondered for a bit as she continued to stare at snatcher.
"So you're basically a shadow similar to how those persona thingies work huh. I don't really know anything about persona's though."
She had never really encountered a person with them before so her knowledge about them were limited. She pretty much only knew surface info.
"I am concerned though. If the current Hat-chan hasn't fought you yet isn't she in danger of losing her soul? Shouldn't we do something about it?"
“Well, at least doesn’t sound as worse as getting splitting headaches by summoning one of them naturally or literally ripping a mask off of your face. But still, it does sound pretty cool to summon one with one of those ‘evokers’ or whatever they’re called.â€
Jiyu thought to himself. Maybe he could get one of these “evokers†just for a small change.
“Anyways, I should probably introduce myself just to get it over with. I’m Jiyu Hatanaka, your local high schooler vigilante.â€
"I dont think that's how it works... but I'm not for sure"
The Snatcher: I have no clue what shadows are too... also Hat... chan... She already did beat me, since I found out before she came to the world I was on she only had one hat and now she as a bunch of hats... so yeah your fine...
*The Snatcher vanishes*
Niko nods.
"Evokers are pretty cool, I guess. Anyway, I'm Niko, your local... Eleven year old catperson with a persona."

“Niko huh? Nice name. I remember there being a guy from one of those crime video games who had the same name as you. But whenever I think of the game, I can’t remember it’s goddamn name. ...By the way, we should probably get back to watching what’s going on in that alleyway.â€
Jiyu looks back to the alleyway, continuing to watch the events happening in there.
*Hat Adult sighs and sits down*
*Hat Kid is above Jiyu and Niko and looks into the alleyway with the others and also has different look (Margin of Night)*

"That's a relief. By the by, is it really okay to let these people know about it too." Mirei said as she pointed back to the people at the entrance of the alley.
Though she is a bit baffled by the fact they were able to see through the wall she erected earlier she just decided not to ask too many questions. Ever since coming to the nexus she understood that not everything needed an answer no matter how strange it was.
OOC: Getting sleepy. maybe we can continue this tomorrow? Also, I think I'm going to GM a RP tomorrow with my alt Lillith. Hope to see you there :) Nite nite

Jiyu continues watching, trying to stay as silent as possible.
Alex watched everyone leave, so he decided to follow later. When he arrived, he saw hat kid and hat adult looking at each other. He would pull out his phone and take a pic. "Holy. Shit."
*Hat Adult and Hat Kid just keep looking at each other... not saying a word*
people would be noticing this soon... I should use darkness!
Alex would creat a field of darkness to obscure any passerby and would create a (harmless) shower of sparks in front of hat adult "mind telling me why you're looking for your younger self and that looks great on you!"
*What appears to be a dark figure looking like Hat Adult but with yellow eyes and and yellow mouth gives Alex a piece of paper saying "I dont know, she just got here and im in shock... why is she here? and well im also not from this world but thats a story for another time"*
Alex would pull out a weathered book and start flipping pages "Let's see, unnatural lightness, check. Form fitting spiritual aura, check. You are the snatcher." He would brusquely switch to a different app on his phone, showing a picture of the snatcher in a hat in time wiki.
*The Snatcher form of Hat Adult nod his head before turning back into his normal (or at least what he normaly looks like as the snatcher)*
The Snatcher: thats correct, but I kinda serve Hat Adult over there... more muiltable reasons but im not telling you what those reasons are
Alex would walk into his darkness to check if anyone was suspicious "I hope there's no popo" he would say as he slipped into the dark.
Also: totally fine w/me for keeping secrets, I still have a few

"As for questions, why did you decide to come here?" Alex would ask "And does The Snatcher grant you magic?"
"I dont know. im not for sure if its even destoryed but how I got here was thanks to The Snatcher... I dont know how but his own room he can summon and I can enter and when we try to go back, we ended up here and we could not go back to our old universe"
"I would say take two and call me in the morning, but I only got one pair. You could try to use this to dimension travel, though it is pretty dicey"*Alex would pull out one of the dice and show it to hat adult*"And how about right now? I don't gotta place but where you gonna stay? You could live in your past self's space ship."
Alex would rummage through his bag for things, not sure what he was looking for
"It's fine, besides it was a not good when I was there. I was thankful that I ended up in this nexus... and I do kinda live in the room that The Snatcher made, well temporary I been finding parts of my ship... big parts like different rooms not broken at all and we have been rebuilding my ship"
*Hat Kid was still watching*
"Well, if you need a place to stay you can probably stay at my place fore a while. I was planning to show it to hat kid one day when I felt she was ready but you seem to need it. Though I would have to ask you to keep it secret if you do." Mirei said as she was listening in on the conversation.
*Hat Adult got lightly scared about Mirei suddenly talking but she soon sighs*
"Well, me and my younger self here are good at keeping secrets"
Mirei ponders for a while before leaving the alley and gesturing for the two to follow. As she walked she weaved through different alleys and side roads.
"So what exactly is your plan? Do you really have no idea how your world...well, disappeared?" she said not looking back to see if the two were following.
*Hat Adult follows, Hat Kid had seemingly vanished*
"Well, my plan is to protect my younger self and her friends. Thats all I really have and I dont know about my world's nexus, it might still be there but im not for sure"
"My teacher could probably help with that. Her specialty is spacial magic. As for hat-chan er- little hat-chan, I'll help. She's my friend after all. I'm also curious to know how the me from your world is?" she said while turning a few more corners and finally stopping in a clearing in the middle of a few buildings within the labyrinthine alleyway.
Niko's been listening for a while, trying not to fall asleep from utter boredom.
"Jesus..."
*Hat Kid was behide Kiko*
"boo"
*Hat Kid said to Niko*
"intresting... oh you, well got my out of alot of bad situations, well mostly in combat until someone forced you to go over your limit and turned you evil..."
*Hat Adult looks at the ground*
"So, I kinda had to well..." *Hat Adult sadly said*
Letting out a sigh as the two girls leave the alleyway, Jiyu turns to Niko once more.
“They’re leaving, but I don’t think there’s a point in following them around anymore.â€
Mirei turned silent for a few moments. If that happened then that meant that her father was most likely already dead before the incident. Mirei turned to Hat adult with a gentle smile as she bowed.
"Thank you for stopping me. I'm sure the me of that world is grateful as well."
*Hat Adult sighs before gently smiling*
"She was and your welcome"
*Hat Adult took out her umbrella and soon turns the handle of the umbrella and soon slightly pulls out a hidden sword to Mirei before quickly putting it back and turn the handle of the umbrella back*
After rising Mirei pulled out a pendant silver pendant that looked like a goddess holding an ewer made of emerald.
"We're about to shift. You might feel a little nauseous but it'll pass."
Soon a dim magic circle appeared on the ground. The magic circle expanded at first then slightly rose off the ground until it was as high as their ankles. A bright light suddenly fills your senses as you gain a bit of a floating feeling. After the feeling passes you find yourself in a different location. The sound of children laughing could be heard as you see some kids on what looked like a wheel-less skateboard made of stone flying over head. In the distance you see large land masses floating in the sky that seem to have entire cities atop them with large magic circles slowly rotating under them. Mirei turns to Hat adult with her hand spread out.
"Welcome to the Magi World. If anyone asks then you're a Magi okay." Mirei said with a smile
Niko sighs as they leave. He turns to Jiyu.
"So, should we just leave then?"
*Hat Adult nods and looks around, before commuinactding to Mirei with their minds (I been here before, of course in my old universe. Last time I saw this place it was in ruins)*
*Hat Kid sighs before poking Niko on the cheek about 20 times*
“I guess so. Well, what are we gonna do other than just staying in these hiding spots?â€
Jiyu steps out of his hiding spot, stretching his arms.
“And plus, my mom usually tells me to come home around this time.â€
"Ah, I guess that would be how it is huh" she would say with a wry smile as she walks out into the street.
"I guess this means that you would know all my secrets then huh. I'm curious though. What exactly caused me to turn evil and caused this place to turn to ruins?" She said as she stepped onto another tele-portal pad that took them to a less crowded area
*Hat Adult follows and looks at Mirei*
"Kinda. each universe is different anyways... I dont know how you caused you to turn evil, all I knew is that someone said that a villain forgot his name corrupted other universe you and for the second question"
*Hat Adult just looks at Mirei, not saying anything*
Niko walks away from the hiding spot. He begins to leave the scene.
"See ya around, Jiyu."

Jiyu waves to Niko as he makes his departure from the scene.
“Yeah, see ya Niko!â€
Putting his white headphones on his ears, Jiyu turns on some music and walks away from the scene as well.
"Ah, I see. I guess if anyone would be the one to do it, it would be me or my sister."
Mirei says as she walks up to a huge castle. The Castle itself seemed like something from the Victorian age but had inspiration from different cultures throughout history including the modern age. It all seemed to somehow look normal despite this. Mirei walks up to the front where two men in suits look at her and bow.
"Welcome home princess." the men would say to her before turning to hat adult and welcoming her as well.
The door was a sliding glass you would see at the entrance of a high rise building and they slid open as Mirei came inside into a huge hall with a stair case in front and an elevator on both sides.
"I guess you can take a room on the left wing. Would that be alright with you?" she said asking hat adult
"Thats fine"
*Hat Adult said, looking around. Remembering the enjoyable past she had here before sighing and looks at Mirei*
Mirei walks to the left wing, going through a few doors on the way. She stopped in front of the door and looked towards Hat adult.
"I don't know exactly what happened in that world but this one is different. If you ever need any help just ask. I'm sure if its something to prevent the worlds ruin my papa will help as well with all the resources of the Magi society. Wouldn't be the first time he's saved the world. For now just get some rest and remember that its the girls turn in the open air bath after 9." she said with a slight chuckle
"Let's make some new memories okay" she said putting her hand out to hat adult for a handshake
*Hat Adult chuckles*
"Alright"
*Hat Adult accepts the handshake and gently shakes her hand*
*In Hat Adult's mind (The Snatcher: I know your not telling her everything. (Hat adult: it's better off not telling her now)*
"I'll tell the guards to treat you like a guest for now so there won't be any problems. There's a crystal bell in the room so if you need anything from the battle maids they'll bring it to you. For now Its getting pretty late so I'm headed to bed. We can figure out what else we need to do tomorrow. Nite nite hat-chan" Mirei says to hat adult as she walks back towards the main hall.
