A day in the city
It was a bright morning, people were walking to work, most kids were inside watching anime Wakui on the other hand was sitting under a tree in the park, just reading a book with some headphones on. The little healer would cough but keep on reading Wakui would look up, with his blank eyes, to see if anyone was around

Wakui Hiro would look at Alex, for a moment he tried to think if he had seen him before, he soon sighs and he takes over his headphones "Um.... hello?"

"Hiya!" *Thud.* The book falls and Alex with it "You seem to have some sort of special ability, and I hope it involves healing concussions"

Wakui nods his head as he hands glow white and he goes over to Alex, soon putting his hand on his chest, Wakui would first cough a bunch (thankful he was wearing a mask) before healing Alex

"Using that doesn't seem good for you, anything wrong?" Alex gets up and looks around

Niko wanders through the park, it is a nice summer day after all, nothing wrong with enjoying a little walk. After all, this is a different world where he a "messiah" or something of the sort. "Now here's to hoping nothing terrible happens."

"Well it is good but... it's a side effect on the experiments the scientists did to me to try and make me a soldier with powers" Wakui said soon turning away and his eyes glow a bit as he checks the HP, feelings, strengths and weakness of Alex (please put those in the Spoiler area, if you want to do it (or some of it))

In a Saturday morning like this, Kasumi would normally be stuck inside playing videogames or watching anime, but for some reason, she came here. She brought a sketchbook, some pencils, and a manga. As she sat down onto a bench she saw some people talking about...powers? This reminds her of the Metaverse that she has explored many times with her team...

Alex went back to reading the book and suddenly ran across a trap. Suddenly a group of armed skeletons pop up from the ground and attack. Alex blocks one and destroys another, leaving about six left

When she hears a strange rattling noise, she closes her manga and looks up, to see...skeletons?! How is that possible?! Why would they be in a park?! How did they get here?! Who are the guys from earlier?! Endless questions are raised in her head. She gets up from her seat, and hides behind a nearby building.

Alex climbed up a tree to escape the skeletons. He would have used magic, but the trap gave him horrible magic burn and so he called for help "Hey! Small undead crisis here!"

Niko leans against a tree. He doesn't notice everything else going on.

Wakui takes out his taser and shoots it at one of the Skeletons to hopeful stun it, his eyes would be sightly normal now (it's no longer fully blank eyes)

A girl would be walking by with long white hair trailing behind her. Reading what seemed like a dictionary for an unknown reason. Sighing at how much the human language has changed since she was last in the world. She would see Alex and wave. Clearing her throat before greeting him. "Hello Alex. It is nice seeing you again" she said with some awkwardness

The tazer manages to damage the skeleton, but ultimately earns the attention of some of the skeletons. The other skeletons stay and Alex attempts to fall on one of them. He lands ok and the skeleton is put out of commission

"I am glad to see thee as well. And also take this!" Alex throws a right hook at one of the skeletons as he says that

Wakui takes a moment to scan the skeletons to see what they're weak to

"Kind of surprised to see thee er- I mean you fighting skeletons." She would comment, not really doing anything to help.

Wakui takes out his lighter and a stick, he soon use the lighter to burn the top part of the stick. Wakui soon walks over to the skeletons and tries to hit them with it

The skeleton gets angry and tries to stab him. Another skeleton moves over to Alice, and seeing as she probably wasn't a threat, tried to stab her as well

Soon the power of deus ex machina get rid of the skeletons since I did not want this to be a battle rp... well at least not as the main plot but as something in the background

Alice would then look over to Wakui. "Who woudst thy friend....who is your friend?" She said correcting herself and showing some irritation

The skeletons fall to the ground, dead and Alex starts burying them, because skeletons on the ground look bad "That guy? He's a failed super soldier and a healer, but that's all I know."

"My name is Wakui and well I would not say soldier since they did not get to do anything to me after I got my powers and it was a good thing I did get my powers since if I didn't-" Coughs for a bit "-They would have killed my friend"

The girl peaks behind the building, and sees the skeletons, all on the floor. She continues peaking for a little longer...

"Wakui, tis a pleasure to meet thine acquaintance." She said giving up on correcting herself for now. "Thee may call me Alice." She said with a curtsy

Alex picks up a stick and dips it into some glowing liquid. The stick becomes a candy bar. "Yes. Yes I do. The book was 'aquired' by me earlier off another necromancer" Alex tosses the bar to Wakui "What's your name anyway, mine's Alex

Wakui smiles and eats the candy bar "Nice to meet you Alice and Alex" "And Alex, my name is Wakui Hiro"

Alex starts reading the book again, now holding a knife to it

Wakui soon finishes the candy bar and looks around to see if anyone was around

She walks away from the scene anxiously before anything embarrassing happens.

Alice quickly scans the book she's holding to find a normal way saying her words in current terminology before looking at Wakui. "You have healing abilities? That is quite the gift you're harboring. In what way does it work?" she asked while avoiding using her eyes of truth

Wakui looks at Alice "Well, my healing can heal physical and mental wounds, but mental is healed more better without using my powers. Anyways I can heal from both close and far but in order to get the best healing I have to be close" "I also have another power" Wakui's eyes changes yellow "I can scan people to see how they are feeling, what their weakness are, how much hp they have, ect. It is also helpful when I have to use my medical equipment since I can see where their wounds are, the medical equipment is for people I cant use my healing powers on" Wakui scans Alice to see how she is feeling and such

I art a mere observer and mine current master hath informed me to not cause undue trouble." she would say scratching the back of her head with a wry smile "I am interest however. That thee harbor an ability close to mine own eyes of truth is rare. Was thee born with it?" she inquired, a slight tilt of the head

Wakui's worrys went away when she said at, he soon sighs Wakui soon thinks as he was given that question "I'm not for sure. I might have been born with these kinds of eyes but never really found out how to use until I was trying to save my friend from death. I thought it might have came from the experiments but i'm not 100% for sure since they never did anything to my eyes or things relate to my eyes"

"Are thine sure thy ability to heal is that. Tis not unheard of for those with such eyes being able to see things that others cannot on a deeper level." she would say as she floated off the ground a little with a hand on her chin "Being able to see such detailed information, maybe allowing you to subconsciously see and interfere with the proliferation of molecules." floating over to him while looking directly into his eyes. "If that is indeed the case then thine's healing ability may very well be one and the same with your eyes. Tis mere conjecture on mine part and I would rather not use mine eyes to pry into thine personal business."

Wakui looks at Alice and his normal eyes look like someone who would not want to harm a fly "Oh... well like I said, im not 100% sure, since I can't really remember anything before the men took me away from my family so I may had have these powers for my whole life and never knew... and maybe I still have some powers I have not found out I have" Wakui puts a blanket over himself

Alice floats a few feet away from him as she ponders for a while. After thinking things over she decides against using her eyes to find out the truth. This boy was interesting to say the least. Spoiling the inevitable ending would do nothing more than bore her. He could bring her entertainment in the future if that's the case. No reason to solve a mystery before it began. She would look at Wakui. "So thee was taken at an early age. Dost thine know the reason?" going to sleep now. will be back on tomorrow. nite nite :)

"Tis a shame. Dost thy at least hath memory of thine origins?" a quizzical look on her visage

"Hmmmm" "Well, When I was being taken away. I was crying but my eyes felt off, not the kind of when your tired but it felt similar to when I use my power" Wakui's eyes turn yellow for a moment before his eyes turn back to it's normal color "But after that I felt a quick pain on my neck then I blacked out, when I woke up I was in a white room, with a bed and a toilet"

So there is a high possibility he was born with the ability. May have even unlocked it while being exposed to high amounts of stress. Well, I wonder what kind of splash he'll me here in the nexus. This should prove to be quite entertaining. Alice would giggle a bit before looking down at the dictionary she had in her hand and making a disgruntled expression. She should probably get back to studying this thing. She floated up into the tree and laid down on one of its branches. "Nothing can be done to understand more at this time. I still hath studying to do. Understanding thine language is a troublesome obstacle." she would say as she took her attention to the large book.

"Oh..." Wakui looks Alice before looking at his book and sighing. Wakui wounders if Alice is a friend to him now

"Though I feel I need not say this, I wish to confirm." she said as she turned a page while still reading the book. "Thee wouldst not speak mine true name to others wouldst thee." she said with a cold voice as you feel a sharp killing intent biting into your skin; as if the surrounding temperature suddenly dropped. "I wouldst not be responsible for what happens to thee after" It wasn't exactly a threat but a warning and yet every word dripped with a cold venom that stimulated your fear.

"Tis but a warning to protect thyself. Mine presence here in the nexus is not a welcomed one for those whom know of mine existence." she said as she turned the page The tension, killing intent, all of it disappeared as if it was a lie. A gentle breeze caressing your face bringing you back to reality. Her hair gently swaying below her as she gave herself a self depreciating smile. "In the end what thy does entirely is entirely thine own decision. I look forward to see how much change thee brings to this broken world."

Wakui smiles as he nods his head "Alright, and Alice. can I consider you as a friend?"

Alice would raise a brow at the question. She would then ponder it for a few moments before returning a warm smile. "If that pleases thee. Then I would be honored. Having more acquaintances never hurt."

"Yea!" Wakui smiles happily like he just ate a bunch of candy

"Since we art friends I hath a question." she would say with a sigh, finally taking her gaze off the book and looking at Wakui. "For what reason hath thine language changed so much. I feel that every time I am brought forth into thine world, thy language hath made significant changes. I cannot fathom the reason." she said pouting a little

"Well their are 6,500 different languages in the world, and languages do change over time" Wakui said trying to explain the best he can

"I understand that there are many, what i hath no reasoning of is why thine change them so often. 800 years ago mine current language was acceptable. 2,000 years before that I needed to learn new things. and 4,000 years ago the language barely even resembles the current language. Doth thine language change too much?" she said with distress as she basically shook the dictionary at him.

"I....I.... I dont know!" Wakui said,while hugging a pillow and tears coming out of his eyes

Alice would look at Wakui as he cried. She would float down from the tree and land in front of him as she stared at him. Her eyes growing colder by the second. "Why dost thy tears flow?" she would ask dropping the dictionary onto the ground "Is thee wounded? Hast thine friends perished? Hast thee lost something dear to thine self?" her words becoming laced in venom "Thine current self is truly pitiful. I will not be the one to console thee so become stronger. Become a man whom others can depend on instead of wallowing in thine weakness" She would simply stare at him waiting to see what his choice would be.

"It's was the stress of trying to think of a good answer to your question and when I was thinking, I start remembering my old friends who helped me and steve get out of the lab... I miss them... I can't see them anymore since they're all dead.... just trying to get me out, If I found out how to use my healing powers I could have saved them all..."

"Tis easy to look back and blame thine own weakness but in the grand scheme of things it is utterly useless. Do not devalue the sacrifice of those whom held thee in importance." her gaze still cold "The question is in how will thee honor such sacrifice. Will thee be trapped in a labyrinthine of despair made of the corridors of thine past or wouldst thee grow stronger from it to make sure such things do not happen again? What path shall thee walk?" Her gaze analyzing him. As if she was searching for a specific something. Watching his every movement.

"Well... guess I would honor their sacrifices to make sure that no one else would die the same fate as them" Wakui makes his hand into a fist "I may be a kid who did not want to harm anyone to save someone but guess sometimes you have to do harm in order to save a life Wakui soon gets up "And I will go back to the place where they died and save the people who are still trapped their" A new strength had been found in Wakui, he may also get a new power

"Dead you say? Do you have any of their souls or any human remains? Because there's someone versed in the art of bringing things to life."

Wakui looks at Alex and shook his head no "No, I don't and they've already burned the bodies of my dead friends"

Niko's been listening for awhile. "You know, you don't seem like the revenge type. I think it's pointless to go back to where they are." He shrugs. "For all you know, those scientists are creating a cure for cancer or something of the sort."

Wakui looks at Niko "Those scientists don't do that. Their trying to make the people they've captured and turn them into mindless super powered soldiers, if they don't get a power or can't unlock it in time or try to escape. They kill them in the eyes of everyone"

Niko scoffs. "Well, how do you know that? How do I know you aren't trying to feed me misinformation?"

"Why do I have any reason to lie? what do I gain by just lying about a bad place? nothing, why would a little kid like me gain, nothing. I dont care about fame or glory... All I care about it the safety and well being of others and don't want any of them to be harmed" Wakui gives Niko a photo of the place and what they do their (and it does not look good at all)

Niko smirks and looks at the picture. "Who knows? You may be a pathological liar. Plus how do I know this isn't shopped in any way?"

Wakui gives Niko his camera that still has the photo's he took of the place "I had to sneak back inside of the place to take those pictures..."

Niko shakes his head. "You must think I'm a moron. It's probably possible to transfer pictures from a computer onto a camera, as you can transfer pictures from a camera onto a computer."

"... I'm... homeless..." Wakui said soon putting his blanket over himself again. Wakui's eyes show that he was not lying

Niko was never making eye contact in the first place. "How can I be so sure that you're homeless? You really aren't making good arguments, buddy."

"I don't know! How does anyone know if someone is homeless! I don't have any other proof but at the same time you don't have any proof that i'm lying"

Niko laughs. "I may not have proof to back up my disbelief, but your lack of proof is proof enough for me to not believe your "evil scientists" thing."

"fine then, believe what you want to believe but I am going to save those people who are being experimented on"

Alice would look on the argument and yawn. "Well, I do agree. Tis probably too soon to return immediately regardless. Thee hath a goal so thee must pursue it and become stronger." she would sat patting the boys head with a smile. Though it would look a bit awkward considering there wasn't too much difference in height. She would then look to Niko. "Tis a pleasure. I doth believe we hath not met. I am Alice" she said with a curtsy

"Tis rare to meet those whom still remember proper etiquette." she said with a giggle. "As far as mine language" she would bend down, picking up the dictionary she dropped and dusting it off "I art still learning modern English. I hath been informed mine way of speaking draws too much attention by a friend so I hath been attempting to rectify such issues." she would say with a wry smile
