Generic Western Bar
Star has opened a bar in the middle of nowhere. Let hijinks insue. Also, she's wearing a cowgirl bartender outfit. You know, because it's the west.
...damn, look at all the same kinds of beer I have... it's all generic, shitty beer...wheeeeeee.
Sheriff Holt Marston walks in. He calmly approaches the bartender. With a fine rolled cigarette in his mouth, a revolver on his side, and a cold look in his face, one can assume he's on the hunt for someone. He sits at the bar Evening Madam...I'll take a glass of whiskey. The Sheriff puffs his cigarette as he calmly awaits his drink
Star pours him a mug of "generic whiskey" from below the counter and slides it over to him.
"Morgana" enters, although his cloak seems to be a bit more torn and covered with many bullet shaped holes. There's a bullet hole in his hat too. He spins his cane around before slamming the bottom of it on the ground with an audible THUNK. "..." He sits at the bar. "Give me whatever you got, just make sure it's cold."
Thank you kindly.... The Sheriff takes a sip of whiskey before turning his attention back to the bartender Say madam, you ain't seen no strange man roaming round these parts? I'm a lookin' for someone who just held up a local bank. Got a bounty on his head too but ain't nobody had any luck finding him.
Star slide Morgana a mug of beer with ice in it. Got a wanted poster of the guy?

The door bursts open. A foot kicked it in. Could it be a tall, harrowing, intimidating figure, armed with a shotgun? ...No. While she did have a pistol holstered, it was a small frame with a cowboy hat covering her facial features in a shadow. All that could be seen was her hair and a mischievous smile. She adjusted her hat and arrogantly sat at a table, far away from the counter. She put her feet on the table and leaned back, a cigarette hanging from her mouth. It was more surreal than intimidating.
Morgana smiles smugly. "Thank you kindly, miss." He takes a sip of the beer, not noticing the new arrival.
Jiyu Hatanaka, a young, well known vigilante, takes a step inside the bar, taking a quick look at it’s interior. Stroking his blue hair to the side, the boy walks up to the bar counter, eyeing the sheriff, clearly recognizing the man. He then turns to face the bartender. “Gimmie the lightest drink you’ve got, ma’am. I don’t have time to get wasted today.”
Sheriff Holt rummages through his pant pocket and pulls out a neatly folded wanted poster. It reads "WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE. MONA THE KID AND THE DRY GULCH GANG. REWARD $5,000 DOLLARS WITH AN ADDITIONAL $500 FOR EVERY MEMBER APPREHENDED" Here he is. Real dangerous one too. He's said to be roamin' around somewhere here, and I intend to make sure he pays for his crimes behind bars, though I won't hesitate to kill him if he puts anyone else in danger.

Star slides Jiyu a cup of beer and water. Oh yeah, he came around yesterday, shot a few tables up, but he did tip well.
"Morgana" immediately turns his hat backwards and starts smoking a cigar. Perfect disguise. "Who came around here?"
Some kinda cat dude with a gun. Then again, we get a lot of cat people around here. Probably because we have a bunch of catnip in the back. Dunno where it came from.
Really? Where'd the sumbitch run off to? He ain't in town anymore? And was he alone? The Sheriff takes another sip and pulls out another cigarette. He seems to be fresh out of matches Say, anyone here got a light?
Noe
The catlike figure listens to the conversations being held at the bar, taking a moment to huff her cigarette as she tips her hat upward to look at the crowd. A devious smile could be seen. Mona the Kid, hm...? She was also interested in this name, evidently. Her eyes were particularly drawn to a certain not-cat.
Nope, no lighter here. And I have no idea, only that he headed west...you know, like everyone else in this fucking world does. I think I heard something about a vegan? Not sure.
The Sheriff turns to the cat like figure and tips his hat towards her Evening madam. You wouldn't happen to have a match? I seem to be fresh out.
Tipping his black hat as a thank you to the bartender, Jiyu takes a seat on a stool and takes a sip of his water first. “Aaaah, I thought I was gonna die of thirst out there...” The boy takes a glance over to “Morgana” with growing suspicions. Like the Sheriff, he seemed to somewhat recognize him as well, but he doesn’t know where from.
Noe
The girl takes off her hat to reveal her facial features. She seemed young. Too young to be smoking, at the least. With a devious smile, she glances up to Hikaru. I'm afraid I've used my last one. But you're free to this one. Consider it a communal offering, nya~ She takes her cigar out of her mouth and offers it to Hikaru. Unsanitary? probably.
The Sheriff takes a puff from the cigar. He notices the cat ears and overall cat like features Say ma'am. Are those real? And you seem to be real similar to one of them there feline types I've been hearin' about lately. No matter though, have you seen this man? The bartender said he headed out west, but I bet he's still got a few of his boys lurkin' around town. He then points to the wanted poster. Surely she must have some information on Mona The Kid
"Morgana" is doing well under pressure, the sheriff hasn't noticed him yet, but hey, that "Mona the Kid" can be any Mona, right? "..." He finishes off the beer. "Hey bartender, can I get a refill?"
Noe
The catgirl looks towards the poster. There was something in her eyes, but it was difficult to read. Perhaps it was sadness? sentiment? it was unclear if she knew anything, but she felt something at seeing Mona the Kids picture. She shook it off and looked towards Hikaru with a smile. I've heard the tales passed through the grapevine, but never seen him for myself. I'll be sure to let you know if I see anything though, nya! if you by any chance see anything yourself, ya'll will let me know, yeah? I happen to have an interest in this feller as well.
she slides another beer with ice to the Mona.
A very small, petite child with red hair wearing a shirt that doesn't cover her belly button and some shorts started to play outside of the bar where there is mud. She alone looked like she didn't belong there, or even, it looked like she didn't belong in this time out in the west? Anyway, after she was done playing the mud, she grabbed her long spear and headed inside of the bar where she left mud prints all over the floor. Hope the bartender isn't pissed about it. She went up to the Star, trying to peek over the counter. *Got any water old hag? *Translated from Chinese, or meaning when that " * " appears next to a sentence, she is speaking in Chinese
The Sheriff noticed the bit of sadness in her eyes I couldn't help but notice a sad look in them pretty little eyes of yours. You have some history with Mona the Kid? I don't mean to be so upfront about it, but I have some time to hear the story before I set out to look for the sumbitch.
"Morgana" has a blank expression, he takes the cigar out of his mouth and throws it to the side before turning his hat around to the proper side. "Thank you kindly again, miss."
she looks up from a piece of paper and slides Chohi a glass of water.
Noe
The girl puffs the cigar before looking down. She considered for a moment whether to reveal this information or not... After a moment of indecision, she puts her hat back on and looks forward, not directly at Hikaru. He's my father... I've never actually met him, though. My mother hasn't seen him in some time, either, obviously... I've heard about the things he's done, and I want to meet him, even if he is a criminal... And then I want to put him to justice, nya! The girl seemed oddly determined as she smiled. Perhaps she was a vigilante, determined to be different from her father, or something else was going on...
Chohi chugs all of the water. *Thank you lady. Mind if I lay here? Chohi then climbs on top of the counter and pushes all of the glass cups and drinks where she can lay down, being so carefree as she always is.
Eyeing “Morgana” a bit more, Jiyu decides to strike up a conversation with him. “So, this Mona the Kid must be a very notorious criminal, yeah? I wonder why I’m just now hearing about this son of a bitch.” He swaps his water out for his beer, taking a sip of it.
Star narrows her eyes, but doesn't say anything.
"Morgana" sweats a bit, he doesn't really remember having a daughter... Did he? "Must be. Strange how you haven't heard of him, that is quite a price on his head, after all." He takes a sip of his beer.
The Sheriff finishes his whiskey and takes another puff from the cigar I see...well, I'm sorry it's like this, but your daddy is a wanted criminal along with the rest of his gang. And like it or not, he's either gonna end up behind bars or buried along the lone prairie. I noticed you've got a gun on you, what say we hunt em down together? You meet your pop, keep the bounty, and I get the sumbitch 'fore he causes anymore trouble round these parts. You seem pretty tough too, I get the feelin' you can hold your own in a fight. He puffs the cigar again, and turns his head towards "Morgana". This fellow seems familiar, maybe he'll have a word with him next.
Noe
Hmmm... It seems we have the same goal, so I may as well team up with ya, handsome! The catgirl winked and rose from her seat, bouncing up once cartoonishly. I'm gonna find my father and then lock him up, nya! and I've faught a bunch of outlaws in my time too, don't y'all worry about me~!
Chohi was trying to take a small nap on the counter but she couldn't take a nap since Jiyu, Noe, "Morgana", and Sheriff Holt were talking too "loud". She yelled across the bar at them. *Can you guys keep it down. I'm trying to sleep here. Pouts angrily and then she placed her hands in her ears, trying to block out the noise.
Star starts sweating at the mention of time before shaking it off and looking normal again.
The sheriff laughs and takes another puff from the cigar, smiling, he then realized he hasn’t introduced himself. Where are my manners? It ain’t like me to not introduce myself to a lovely lady like yourself. Name’s Sheriff Holt Marston. Came all the way from the Smokey Mountains and now I found myself here He tips his hat to the cat lady
“I haven’t really been followin’ the news about any criminals recently. Maybe because my mother’s been tellin’ me to run errands for her all the time instead of letting me have my own freedom.” Jiyu pondered to himself for a moment. What did this Mona the Kid guy even do to deserve such a high bounty? I suppose that question can wait for another time.
Noe
Suzuko... Noe Suzuko, nya. Pleased to meet ya, kind sheriff! I was raised in the badlands of Nevada, myself! my mama taught me how to shoot a gun, so I became a vigilante and set out to find my father. She tips her own hat, her tail wagging behind her.
"Morgana" nods. "Ah, I see. Sounds pretty tough. I hope your mother lets you have a little more time to yourself, life is short, you know."
After trying to block off all of the sounds that was coming from the bar, she finally started to sleep. She laid her head on her left arm with her eyes closed while she was holding her long spear in her right hand, so that she can be ready for danger.
It’s a pleasure to meet you ma’am. Now I hope you don’t mind, but I’m gonna have a small talk with these here fellas. If you’d like to help, I’d greatly appreciate it. The Sheriff walks toward Jiyu and “Morgana” Evening fellas. I’m a huntin’ down this here man. Mona The Kid and his gang. he pulls out the wanted poster This man is responsible for the robbery of the Hill Valley bank not too far from here. Have you seen this man or any of his other posse round these parts?
"Morgana" studies the wanted poster closely, hopefully they left out details or perhaps they got the wrong Mona. "Not sure if I have."
Noe
Noe walked up from behind Hikaru, looking at Mona. She smiled happily, too happily for someone looking to arrest someone... It was like her eyes were piercing into him like how a child would stare at something shiny.
Jiyu nods at “Morgana’s” statement. “Yeah, I always try to make the most of my life until I turn about 20, I suppose. But ever since she heard about me being the famous ‘Wildfire Gunslinger,’ she’s been trying to keep me out of harms way. Huh, I guess she doesn’t want me turnin’ out like my...” The boy pauses for a second, looking down at his half full glass of beer. “Just forget that I said that last part...” Jiyu looks over to the Sherrif who just greeted him, looking at the wanted poster. “Ah, that’s the criminal him and I were chattin’ about. I just heard about him today actually.”
The Sheriff takes another look at the poster, and then takes another look at “Morgana” and then takes another look at the poster, before taking one last look at “Morgana” Say, don’t meant to sound off, but you look oddly familiar to this here wanted poster. Too familiar in fact The Sheriff puffs his cigar, as his hand steadily and slowly reach for his revolver, not wanting to make any obvious movements
"Morgana" keeps his composure, he's pretty much unarmed, and his cane isn't gonna do much good in a firefight. "Are you sure about that? I mean, for all you know I might just perhaps be a relative. Or maybe I just simply look kinda like the guy?"
Jiyu looks between The Sheriff and “Morgana” while taking a few glances at the wanted poster. The boy was no stranger to how gun fights started out in a bars, and this exact moment looked exactly like how one is supposed to start.
The Sheriff’s eyes are now focused on “Morgana” There’s no mistaking it. The cat like features, in fact similar to Ms. Suzuko, the face, and the dead giveaway, the lone bullet hold on your hat. I can only assume you’ve been in some gunfight of sorts. In fact, I’m almost as curious as who in the world could have been shootin’ at you. His hand now lays on his revolver, ready for any resistance or any type of conflict
Star looks under her counter to make sure her small kegs of beer are there. Iffn y'all gonna have a shootout, I suggest you take it outside.
"Morgana" isn't really prepared to fight, in fact, he really has no intention to. "To be completely fair, this bullet hole isn't new. Same with the holes on my cloak as well. I've been in some gunfights, yes, but nothing recent. Mostly just run-ins with highwaymen."
Y’know son, somehow I don’t believe you. In fact that’s just the story someone would say to avoid the law! Sheriff Holt pulls out his revolver and points it at “Morgana” Mona the Kid, I’m hereby puttin’ you under arrest for the robbery of the Hill Valley bank. For your crimes, you’re comin’ with me, dead or alive. I’ll think of shortening your sentence, if you tell me where the rest of your boys are hidin’
"Morgana" shrugs. Guess he was caught. "Alright, perhaps it is. I don't know about any sort of "boys" though, that has to be an exaggeration." Hopefully the Sheriff would believe that part. "Don't expect me to put up a fight, today has been quite a different one."
“The Hill Valley bank? ...Ohh, so that’s where I recognize him from. Too bad I didn’t have my revolver on me to get rid of him for good.” Jiyu stand’s up, looking directly at “Mor- or actually, Mona the Kid with a fist on his hip.
Noe
Suddenly, Noe drew her own pistol and pointed at Sheriff Holt. She still smiled happily the same as before, but her weapon was holstered at the sheriff. Can't let you do that, nya! see, I lied when I said I was a vigilante! I'm actually an outlaw myself, and I've admired my father for years despite never meeting him. But now I have, and we're walking away together. I'm joining his band as of this this day forward, nya~!
The Sheriff ties Mona the Kid’s hands together and proceeds to walk out of the bar, but first pays for his whiskey Don’t act dumb with me. I know you got some friends who helped you rob that bank, it’s only a matter of time ‘fore I find where they’re hidin’ You’re gonna spend a long time behind bars. Hope you got time to think about what you’ve done. Robbing banks, causing trouble, leavin’ behind a mama and a daughter.
Star pulls a keg of beer out and a lit match. Any gunshots go off, and I'm setting thing on fire and tossing it. There's a reason why shootouts are outside, you know.
Not surprised, The Sheriff then pointed his revolver at Noe I suspected as much. What coincidence would it be that Mona the Kid’s daughter would be out here in the middle of nowhere. Now I ain’t much of a fan of shootin’ a lady. But for you, I’ll make an exception. Lower your gun, and I’ll think of lettin’ you off the hook
Noe
Hmmmm, I dunno, nya... If you won't shoot me, then what should I do? I don't want this bar to burn down! I just wanna leave here with my daddy! Noe seemed too energetic to be an outlaw. It was like she was a kid playing a video game. Alas, her pistol was aimed steadily.
"Morgana" sighs and rolls his eyes. "To be completely fair, I don't even remember having a daughter, nor a wife actually."
Look at where your daddy is at. He’s spending a long time behind bars for what he’s done. This ain’t a life worth livin’, least not one behind bars. He done left you behind to choose this life, left you and your mama, would you want to abandon anyone you cared for just for a life of crime? Only to be found like your daddy right now? His aim is still focused on Noe Because if that’s the case, I will find you. Justice is swift, and justice ain’t gonna dispense itself. You still have a choice to do the right thing here. I promise you’ll get a chance to speak with him whenever you please
Noe
Noe looks firmly at him, her playfulness wavering. Perhaps he struck a nerve. All that's ever mattered is me and my mama... and my papa... and this region is gonna belong to us! don't talk like y'all know me or my family... It's tough enough to be a neko in 'Murrica without the law on us all the time! ya brought this upon yerselves being vulnerable! now, we're leavin'... Noe inches towards "Morgana", pistol still aimed at the sheriff as she held onto her father and tried to inch out of the bar.
"Morgana" looks at Noe. "Are you really sure I'm your father? Everything I've done up to this point has been a blur." He sighs again. "If I am, can you remind me of how your mother looks? I wish to see her again at some point if this is the case."
The Sheriff sighs. He really did feel fond of the cat girl I didn’t mean to offend you like that. I understand your pain, though I can never be in your shoes. I hope you can forgive me. I likes you, you’ve got a lot of character, and it seems like you’ve obviously been through a whole mess. But I can’t allow you to take him. Don’t step any closer now, or I’ll be forced to shoot. Please don’t do this
... Star lights the keg on fire and chucks it at the exit, spilling burning beer all over it. Nobody is leaving now.
Noe
Noe smiled as she recalled her mother to Morgana. Mama taught me everything I know! how to hold a gun, how to move quick, rob a bank... Long, pretty brown hair, blue eyes, always wearin' the finest of dreads ya can get in Nevada; always believin' in justice and the hope that one day, this country will have equal rights fer everyone! she made her fortune by yer side... Ya'll must have really got along well, nyahaha~! I can't wait until we're a family again! we're gonna rule the entire west! She seemed almost like a child like this. Almost like this was just how life was to her. Looking to Hikaru, she seemed to smile in the same way she did when they first met. Sorry sheriff, but I'd rather ya'll shoot me than put away my papa... We finally get to be a family again. So ya either gotta shoot me, or let me walk away! we can even make a deal. There be plenty of cretins out here in the west, like that there Calamity Cait, or PK James! but if ya really believe in yer justice, your own truth... Shoot me now, nya~!
Star pulls out a shotgun from under the counter. This here territory belongs to the bartenders, a secret band o' outlaws who take up bartending. Now that you know, I can't let anyone live.
Police Momkey rolls the fuck in this aint it chief. The bar blows up lmao
Without thinking, The Sheriff throws Mona the Kid out of the window as the bar is engulfed in flames. He hesitates at first, but pulls the trigger, shooting Noe Dammit...
Turns out, the window lead to a small hole full of beer. Probably to drown people in.
