that was really nice, until you made a persona joke in the end. Also, like Chie said, making a thread on a Persona 5 forum won't really help with anything. I wouldn't really call this talking. If you're having trouble with social interactions, go meet some people IRL. Even if it's hard, it'll help with your problem a lot better than this will. And maybe you don't even have to meet new people. Just chat with a family member, or a friend. If you seriously do feel bad about your social interactions, go do something about it.

You don't understand, the people I meet locally are all very much the same. None of them can really hold a conversation and there's almost no diversity where I live. On the internet it's much different because I can meet people from all different corners of the globe all with different personalities to interact with and learn from. In addition, most of my IRL friends are always preoccupied with things like sports and jobs, so they never really have time for me. Family members are the absolute worst. Half of 'em hate me or couldn't care less about me. I would rather live a life of absolute solitude than be with my family.

Even so, thats no reason to just abandon it. I know its tough to take the first move but you gotta do it, or you will just be eluding yourself from it. Interacting people in media is good but what like elmco said, it wont change anything. Because you want to interact with people but you yourself wanted to avoid it. Even if things dont go well after you tried, all you have to do is get back up again. I know what I said sounds pretty cliche but its true. I also experienced the same thing years ago but I managed to pull through. Its a good life lesson to me and Im sure it will be a good life lesson to you too. Ps. Dont be mad at me Flareon if I offended you, I feel like this is nessecary to wake you up

Did you get the impression that I was anti-social? No, that's not it. I feel I did a rather poor job explaining it. It's not that I have trouble talking to people at all. I can do that on a daily basis. What I mean to say is that I have difficulty understanding others or knowing what would be offensive. On the internet is easier because you have people with similar interests and background knowledge as you so it's easier to understand. And, as for it not changing anything, that part is just outright false. The skills I learn over the internet very much apply locally. Even if that were true, it would be a moot point because by your own logic you saying that wouldn't change anything.

Youre absolutely right, it seems that you actually already know the answer to your own question, now it all depends on you wether to use it or not. My word of advice: Dont get too clinged to the internet, try to see the world out there, you will be able to learn all sorts of things Peace out ;)
