Mitsuko stood alone in the room in which she had so many memories. She moved forward and sat on the bed, taking slow, deep breaths. Though it brought sorrow, it was also comforting. It smelled so much like Hana, Mitsuko could've sworn Hana was in there with her. She remembered all the things she thought about doing with Hana - traveling to sate both their passions, teaching her how to hunt, Hana teaching her about the world - she wanted something with Hana, but she threw it away herself. She noticed the dead flower, and through the tears let out a slight scoff "...how symbolic" she said under hear breath. She held the memento Hana gave to her before she died, Hanas hat. She gripped it and knew she couldn't give up. She couldn't let herself die in her own self pity. If she did, no one would be there to track down Hana's brother, give him his sisters hat, and tell him what happened. She hated herself for what she did to Hana; and she knew she probably would forever. No self forgiveness would come until she was able to know Hana didn't hate her for what she did. But she could make a good guess about Hana - that being that Hana would not want her to die, but to live. She hugged the hat, and started sobbing. "Thank you Hana...for everything...I will never stop loving you." She continued for a bit, until she tried to lay down, and felt something under the pillow.
