The problems with persona 5
Hello, I am Akinari Kamiki. I'm going to be talking about all of persona 5, so i'll spoiler tag what is necessary. However, I might generally spoil things about the game by just talking about some things. So if you are here and you haven't played persona 5, please do so. This is meant to be viewed by those who have played through persona 5 at least once. I love persona 5 and I think it's a fantastic game. However there are very clear problems with it and I hope by pointing out the flaws of it we can all understand how atlus can improve future entries. My issues with the game are as follows: -Every arc after Kamoshida felt rushed and less meaningful. Madarame was ok but the connection between him and fox weren't explored enough, and he fell flat because of it. I'm not a fan of how comicly evil all the other villains are. Yes, most of them have reasons for ending up how they are but there isn't enough light shed on them. Now the big complaint with a p5 character: Goro Akechi was very obviously the traitor, not just the pancake comment, but he had a story social link, he is the one character who isn't featured with the rest of the cast, etc. The use and conclusion of his arc is just..poorly done. He made very good points on the negatives of the phantom thieves earlier in the game but all of that is just dropped in the last few months of the game. A lot of the social links also have a very repetitive structure involving Going to mementos and changing the corrupt adult's heart that is troubling the confidant, and then by the end of the link said confidant learning your identity as a phantom thief, sometimes miraculously. I also don't like how nothing you say really matters unless you're looking for love or trying to get more rank up points. Regardless of what you say, you'll reach the end of the social link and the same things will play out and happen. These are things I feel persona 5 could of improved upon. Feel free to disagree with me, and tell me what else you think persona 5 could of done better.
Your name makes me sad and depressed. That is all.
I agree with your points except the one about the post-Kamoshida arcs being rushed. I feel like if they had taken more time with the arcs, it would’ve become slow and uninteresting. In fact, if Kamoshida’s arc wasn’t the intro to the characters and all the aspects of the phantom thieves and the Metaverse, I’d say his arc took too long. The Persona games are more than just the main story, you want to have enough time to do whatever you want, be it dating, reading, eating oversized burgers, whatever. If they made each arc any longer it would impede upon the players freedom.

I agree, they should've gone more in-depth. However, a mention of another person in the Metaverse would've been better if it started with Kamoshida - since it is only mentioned from Madarame and Kaneshiro. [spoiler]Then you learn about Cognitive Psience from Futaba, and after - you see Loki kill Okumura. It then takes another 2 palaces to learn who the true culprit is [\spoiler]
your spoiler tag didn't work
