Rayquaza works at 7/11
It’s nearly midnight. The only source of light is a flickering streetlamp and the fluorescent lights of the gas station’s interior. Somehow the lone worker, a massive snake dragon thing, fits behind the counter.
A ferociously fluffy flareon strolls up to the counter carrying a twelve pack of red bull in its mouth and sets it down in order for the cashier to check it out "Hello there."
“Kyreeehyeh?” With a response that the flareon would understand as a very tired “Hello, how are you?”, Rayquaza took the 12-pack with its ridiculously tiny hands and scanned it. Its swaying tail knocked over a chip display, but it ignored that. It tapped a few keys, and the register showed the price with a little ding. “Kyaa.”
A pair of younger girls wanders down the streets, both of them for some reason dressed in school uniforms despite the fact one hasn't gone to school in nearly two years. And the fact it's the dead of the night. None of these facts seem to bother them as the pink-haired one turns to her companion with a curious look. Madoka: "Um... Why exactly are we out here? I'm not sure in the least..." Her black-haired friend would shrug a bit, arm resting around the other girl's shoulder absently as they both walk into the building. Homura: "Heck if I know honestly, but I told you that we were taking the wrong left dang it. This sure isn't anywhere near Shibuya." They both sigh a bit and look around a bit, it is late and they are hungr- wait what the hell. The pair stares in blind shock as they see a dragon running the counter. They'd just look at it in silent awe. The Flaeron is a bit odd, but that's just beyond insane. Both: "What in the hell is up with this town."
"HAAAAAIIIIIIII" A cute girl walked in, obviously giving out a japanese pop-star idol vibe, especially with the horrible english. When the door was...not busted open, her cute anime voice filled the quiet and peaceful 7/11 gas station. Her eyes immediately met the lone Rayquaza employee with a spark of confusion. "Hello there! Do you work here?..." Despite what the subtitles that appear in front of her say, she is definitely not speaking English in the way a normal American does. In fact, it's not too hard to tell what she's saying, but it's a bit grating. The girl doesn't really expect a reply, so she keeps on going. "I wanna buy stuff! Wait for me!" She walks around the store nonchalantly, humming an upbeat tone quietly. From what literally no one could tell, she's actually just singing her own songs that she made herself.
Rayquaza stared at the three Japanese girls in stunned silence. After a long, exhausted sigh, it gave a monotone, rehearsed speach. “Kraaashaaa. Kwazsharyaa.” ...Probably something to greet the new customers. It finally noticed the fallen chip rack and started cleaning it up, only to nearly tip over a stack of beer.
Homura would stare blankly at the third girl to enter the building, she hasn't got any clue what this one's deal is, but... She's slightly annoyed. Shadows would flicker around her as Madoka winces before pulling the taller girl into a hug and whispering to her. M: "H-hey, calm down~ Even if she is uh... Very energetic, we should be nice." H: "... Fine fine." The black-haired girl sighs a bit as her shadows vanish, given they can't understand him they just nod politely to Rayquaza before turning to face the other Japanese girl with... Well, Madoka's smiling, Homura just looks neutral at best. And very tired. M: "Hello there, you seem happy tonight! I'm Madoka Kaname by the way, nice meeting you I'm sure!" H: "Homura Akemi, and yeah sure nice to meet ya... Don't ask about the uniforms, please."
The Flareon cracks open one of his red bulls and begins to vigorously slurp it down "I'm fine, thanks." He says, ignoring all the exisential crisises he just went through.
“Kryaa.” Rayquaza nodded to Flareon. There was a look of tired understanding in its eyes. It coiled up behind the counter and leaned forward with its elbows on the hard surface. It kept a curious eye on Homura, but otherwise, it was just chilling until it was needed.
The girl goes through the shelves with an absent mind, taking one of every candy bag and candy bar that they have, whether it was the last one or a bootleg or not. Once she's finished, she looks over at the two girls, and actually sets down her...requirements at a table. "Wow, I've heard about you two! You're very cool! My name is Chloe, as in, Lucky Chloe! It's very nice to meet you too!" Energetic and cheerful...too much. Respectable English speaking?...nope. Thank god for translations with the subtitles that appear below her, which she seems to not notice at all. She rushed to shakes both of their hands, and she got all her candy and whopped it on the counter and merely gave Flareon a casual glance as if this was her everyday life. "Gomen'nasai! I need more stuff!" She goes zipped past the other two girls and got more stuff...also one beer bottle and a pack of cigarettes, but nobody would really notice that when she put more bags of chip and soda on the table, with the beer and cigs right at the bottom. "So, what do you two do? I just got here, I'm on tour after all! Don't tell my agent...he's a bit strict." For a teenage pop-star girl that got here on her first day, she was taking all of this a bit too casually. She almost jumped up and down in excitement as she waited for her response, but she just breathed out, and merely flipped one blonde pigtail out of the way and gazed at them with curiousity.
Rayquaza sighed and began the long task of scanning every single candy bar. It was probably going to need multiple bags with all the stuff the girl grabbed. After a minute, when a bag of chips wouldn’t scan, it snarled and slammed the scanner with its tail. That... somehow fixed the problem. It huffed and continued calmly. However, when it uncovered the beer... “Krroah.” It held out a three-clawed hand and stared at Chloe expectantly. It tapped the beer can with its other hand to get its point across. Even huge dragon things had to ID people.

Homura does in fact notice what the girl's got at the bottom of the bag... But she couldn't care any less really, not like those things are an issue. She's more curious why this girl seems to know of them. Madoka for her part tilts her head curiously. M: "Lucky... Huh, I think I know that name at least vaguely. I might have heard someone at school mention you? Uh, you're an idol right?" H: "Heard of us? Color me shocked, I wasn't even aware that we anyone noteworthy at all actually." The girl's broken English only slightly bothers Homura really, she can't say she'd do much better with it so whatever. The handshaking thing is strange to both, but accepted regardless. Upon being questioned, they'd both smile slightly and decide to answer... Mostly honestly. M: "Oh, I'm just a school student is all. It's nothing that exciting. Oh but Homura's kinda cool!" H: "Cool, hah if you say so l- Madoka. I just run a cafe really, I guess it's kinda impressive for someone my age but eh. That and... Well, I help out where I can too ya know?" Homura chuckles a bit upon seeing the dragon ask for ID, but it isn't really her problem in the least bit. Instead, she'd inquire a bit... A grab a rather large drink cup which is quickly filled with soda as she waits in line. Madoka leans the other girl quietly for the moment. H: "By the way, where did you hear of us before anyway Chloe, that's just very curious to me."
She silently slid a Puella Magi Madoka Magica Manga on the table nearest to her, whistling as she listens to them talk to each other. She actually smiles towards them in a bit of a friendly manner, and twirls her twintail as she looks at them. "That's nice! I'd want to go to your cafe, sometime Homura-chan!" Due to her way of speaking, -chan came out as -tan, and it was said in a horribly cutesy way like she was a child. It's probably her own way of teasing a bit. Chloe looked over at the Rayquaza, actually being very surprised, and then getting super gloomy. She let out a very tired sigh as she walked back over to the counter a bit slowly. Gas stations don't question stuff like this usually. "Gomen'nasai, mister..." She reached behind her and pulled out an ID of a classic business male in classic business male attire. The card itself had a big logo that said G-Corporations, but other than that, classic business stuff. Then, she gently puts the card on the table, and points at the bottle. "That, in particular was for my agent. But I wanted more stuff. My company really sucks! They won't let me have all of this! Please let me keep it, please! Onegaishimasu!!!" Though she looked like she was on the verge of crying, the little situation didn't really seem to be that much of a big deal. In fact, she bowed her head apologetically to the dragon, and a bit of a condescending smirk was perfectly hidden.
Rayquaza shifted its coils in contemplation. With a sigh, the green beast scanned the beer and cigarettes, then rang up the total after bagging everything. Either it believed the girl’s trickery, or it just gave her the benefit of the doubt to get her out of its scales. There was a card reader available if the girl had no cash, although it seemed a bit battered.

Homura and Madoka both just stare down at the book in some mix of shock and horror, that shouldn't... No way that's real right? Homura would pull out the glass gleaming bottle, and soon enough... Put it away as she recalls that thing isn't in fact hers. Madoka clings onto the other girl even tighter than before. H: "That's... No way, what the hell is that thing?" M: "Let's just... Not think about it love. I don't even want to know how that exists." Homu's eye twitches more than a bit as the girl mangles an honorific so badly, and sounds like a damn child to boot. Homura-tan, feh. Shadows flicker a bit more, the girl's own almost seeming solid briefly as Madoka sighs heavily, for a moment she'd kiss the black haired girl's check which both brings a blush and cease of magic for this instant. She giggles for a moment and looks over at Chloe. M: "Hehe, we should get moving soon right? I mean, it's been nice meeting you Chloe-chan but it's really late... Not that I have anywhere to be in the morning now, but still." Homura yawns a bit and speaks out in an exhausted voice with only a slight blush now. H: "Yeah that's... True, totally true and not at all covering something up. Lemme just pay first."
She raised her head up and looked back at Homura and Madoka, her eyes glimmering with excitement. Though she didn't really notice the fact that her teasing might've gotten her killed. Apparently she's super good at being mean that it overbears her being good at being happy and positive. Lucky Chloe can be exhausting to keep up. "Oh, no, you don't have to do that, Homura-san!" No -tan. No -chan. Just -san. She did that on accident...the closest thing to an accident at least. What wasn't on accident was all the japanese yen bills that had been slammed on the counter, probably a bit startling to be frank. It paid for both all the stuff that she got, as well as whatever Homura might've had on her tab. The rich life can get you far sometimes. She simply smiled at both of them, picking up her bags and heading out. "See ya later!" With one instance where the subtitles that appeared below her actually counted for something, since she said "ja mata ne!" and not the actual english words...if she did it'd be so horrible. Lucky Chloe got her stuff, and left, skipping out the 7/11 with glee and joy. Once her presence wasn't clogging the place, others would probably feel glee and joy as well.
Rayquaza stared at the bills, then slowly put them into the cash register. It looked at the clock then, with an expression that basically said "screw it," threw off its way-too-small uniform and crashed through the ceiling. Its shift was over and the customers had paid.
Homura just sighs, absently waving alongside her girlfriend as Chloe leaves the building... H: "She was... Lucky indeed, lucky that I didn't let Homulilly out." M: "... Yeah I uh, really glad you didn't pull that. I know you wouldn't kill somebody, but now's not the time for a fight over petty stuff." H: "Mmm, you have a p-" The girl's words would be cut off as Rayquaza leaves the building as well, chunks of concrete rush down towards the ground from a hole as Homura smashes a black card. Soon enough, the strange sailor unfiform wearing being with shadows for a head and a clock in her chest would appear. Black bursts spinning through the air and tossing the crumbling building parts aside as the pair of girls quickly leaves the scene. H: "What the heck was that!? Who just does something like that I mean seriously, normal people coulda been killed!" M: "Hahaha, normal people right... Like me yeah..." The Persona vanishes as its summoner winces. She'd just wrap herself around the smaller girl as they both walk away. Lost in thought on both sides for the moment... And drinking from the overly large soda with a pair of straws.
An unfamiliar red wolf enters the store. He immediately drifts over to grab a large amount of caffeinated drinks and alcohol. "Time to restock my fridge finally. I was getting dangerously low." He brings the stack of assorted beverages to the check-out counter... And sees that the cashier had left, probably through the newly broken hole in the ceiling. "...Well, I didn't wanna pay anyway." He rushes out the door.
