Midnight is a special time for gas stations. The visitors, if any, are certainly not boring. But with the quiet of the night, the massive dragon snake coiled behind the counter is bored out of its mind. It stares blankly at the door. Pinned to its vest is a “Hello! My Name is RAYQUAZA!” badge. Stacked around its checkout counter are snacks and a few promotional items.

It’s nearly midnight. The only source of light is a flickering streetlamp and the fluorescent lights of the gas station’s interior. Somehow the lone worker, a massive snake dragon thing, fits behind the counter.

*A few minutes ago, it was sunny outside. Now, it's pouring, and thunder shakes the sky. Strong winds howl and blow away loose objects. And up by the swirling clouds, something circles the top of a building...*
