Most of my deaths were due to Hama and Mudo.

Well, my first real death was when a party of 5 Angels ambushed me, and kept spamming Hama
Joker was the only one left (I had Shiisaa)

Reaper said "fuck that" and mamudoon'd everybody. I was weak to it Bec is my persona being one of the angels, and I got murdered

I have never actually had a death because of that. Like sure it killed allies but they have never given me a game over.

I guess I may have gotten lucky.

Oh, and my Shiisaa had Maeiha but it wasn't enough so I died anyway

Merciless Madarame was the worst. He was the fight that convinced me to switch to hard mode.

Another funny moment was when I was fighting the big green robot in Okumura's palace. My party was wiped, but I completely nulled phys damage. I has no SP left, but since he respawned healers anytime I'd whittle him down it became and endless loop. Had to reset my game to undo it and lost a fair bit of progress.

A similar thing happened with The Cleaner, but since he can't heal, and my Trumpeter nulled phys and curse, I just rushed him with Joker for 30 minutes until he died. Game design!

Hm, I guess I have been lucky thus far to only receive hilarious deaths.

There was also this one shadow at Niijima's palace that appears after you go through the dark maze. It can instakill you with this one skill when you're inflicted with fear. Died two times to that and had to go through the dark maze over and over.

Ah, Ghastly Wail. Good times.

Ok so first off, I love the anime Monster Musume. There are Lamias (or snake women) Futaba's Palace, and my favorite girl in Monster Musume is Mia, the Lamia. I had an encounter with 4 Lamias (keep in mind it was pretty much right outside a safe room so I wasn't losing progress) So here's the gist, I take the Lamias down, I demand money, they get pissed because I demanded too much, the use a move that makes my ENTIRE team depressed and I can't do and thing, then Joker kills himself from being too depressed. This happened 3 times, at the same enemy. So after this, everytime I see a Lamia, I shout "KILL ALL THE MIAS!!!!!" and I show no mercy.

I had to repeat like 5 goddamn times.

Funny story about despair. I actually spent all of my money on those despair-curing lollipops as a joke so I never actually had any trouble with it, seeing as I never had a situation where all my party members were despaired at the same time, so I could cure everyone with tasty lollipops.

Speeeeaking of Shido's Palace:

Has anyone experienced the joy of getting Lullaby'd by a Titania after using a Physical Move, having said Physical Move miss, having Haru in the Party, resulting in the Titania's spamming Mafreidyne and killing Joker?!

THAT'S FUN. SHIDO'S PALACE IS SO FUN.

Final boss. Had a party of skull mona and fox. Joker had full health. Boss used his charge hit everyone attack. EVERYONE was defending. Joker and Mona died. I restarted and first action I did was to swap for someone who could raise defences.

I died ONCE during my first playthrough, and it was total bullshit.
In the Fourth Palace, I tried to ambush a Shadow, I didn't end up ambushing it, but I at least attacked it so it wouldn't ambush me.
So I hit it and the battle begins and spawns a fuck ton of Lamia. Like 4-5, I forget exactly how many, and it immediately starts with the Lamia. They start inflicting Despair. One everyone.
My entire party was in Despair, and I will remind you Despair instakills people after three turns... and everyone had it. I couldn't do shit.

Ok... First death I could remember was in Madarame's Palace. I was being very reckless and the shadows hit my weakness like 4 times before i died.

Then there was the boss in Futaba's Palace. I didn't know what I was doing and got obliterated.

The last was in Okumura's Palace. I fucked up when a shadow caught me and it was nothing but MOTHMAN. They all used life drain on the MC...

So I was beating the game for my first time and I had gotten to the final boss. I had been playing for around 6 hours at this point and it was almost 2 A.M. and I had school the next morning. I just fused a Gabriel and figured that would be all I needed to win, considering that it was 10 levels higher than I was. I go to fight him and I beat the cup. Easy. Then when the true demiurge came out, I started having a little trouble, but I had Ali Dance and Null Phys on my Gabriel, so all I had to do was just wait it out. He was almost at 1/8 or something around that, when I foolishly used mabufudyne on him. One of his arms reflected it back at me and I got frozen. I panicked. As after that he started charging Rays of Control. I didn't have any items to cure that, nor did I have any skills to cure it. I decided to up my defence a ton and lower his attack a ton. Didn't work. Ended up beating the game at 3:30 A.M.

I used brave blade against a phys reflect enemy. It criticalled too, right back at my face.
