"The Second Summoning of the Old Ones"

One would think mankind would learn- we have thought wrong. Despite the horrors the last incident brought, the old ones were once again summoned, causing the site to go down once more.

User "HahaRIP" seems to be quite loyal in showing us just what chaos can be unleashed, as this is his second time summoning the Old Ones, though this time he appeared to have had an accomplice this time. It is unknown if having a second person assisting the revival strengthened the beast, but what we do know is that the crash this time was far worse than the previous one.

Several topics by the summoner show just how much he enjoys releasing such madness upon us. For many of us, this site is our salvation. The one bright light in these dark times.

It's truly upsetting to know that people out there seek to take that from us.

My question is if this is the same forum shutdown that tends to happen every now and again, and always fixes itself without Mishima's intervention; or if it's something else entirely?

It appeared to be a different form of shutdown. The error message was entirely different from last time.

That is what lead me to believe that the Old One summoned this time was much more powerful.

I fear what may happen if the summoner gains a third accomplice.

My tales are based off of legend more than fact. We may have the official explanation, however it does not change that this is what the people thought was the cause.

May 5th. The day the Old Ones were summoned once again. While Thoth's documentation on the matter was for the most part correct, he did not realise some of what spilled forth in the chaotic aftermath of HahaRIP's antics. Was the insanity/panic/Morgana murderfic witnessed in the front page's comments simply the comments of the sites users, or the pure desire and will of the Old Ones attempting to gain a foothold in the material world? Are the admin Mishima's words of overloaded servers simply a coverup of dangerous tampering with ancient gods?

Well, probably not, but it looks like Boss is crying into his curry pot again.

He isn't exactly wrong. Some nigga dumped a murderfic into the main feed while the forums were down. He may not be entirely clean, as he was before, but don't doubt him yet.
