Deal no dmg, get a lot of dmg, endless battles, get less exp and money. Like, a LOT less money and exp.

So just don't do merciless?

Imo it's not even on the "challenge" side because it's not that you can do that much with your game ability about not being oneshot'd

I died against the first Jack o Lantern fight after the first save room

Merciless isnt hard, it just forces you to to use only crit builds and use makoto for tons of technical hits

I play on Merciless and i think its pretty easy =/ (except Justine/Caroline)
