Choose Your Adventure (Horror)
Although today didn’t look different from the other days, with its grey skies and the occasional breeze that managed to squeeze through the open window, it felt important to you. After all, today was the day that your package was supposed to arrive. As much as you wanted to go continue your daily activities to pass the time, you had to pay close attention to the door because the package required a signature and everyone else was too busy to wait for your package. It was a miracle that you were able to ask for favors from other people so that you could clear up your schedule for this day, so you were growing more agitated with each passing minute. When you finally heard knocking on your door, you immediately bolted for the door as if your life depended on it.
With a quick glance at the package and the deliveryman, you felt a hint of suspicion before pushing it down. The package was relatively smaller than you had expected and the deliveryman was silently holding out a clipboard and pen towards you. What do you do?
(1) Take the pen and sign for the package
(2) Ask him about the package
(3) Tell him that he has the wrong address
(4) Close the door
Dammit Spade-Spirit you know one of my weakness...I choose (2)
@pancake You close the door without uttering a single word to the deliveryman and quickly move away from it, hoping he would leave.

A few hours later, you open the door once again and see the package has been moved to the front of your door. You can clearly see on the label that it is addressed to you. What do you do?

(1) Leave it there
(2) Remove the label and give it to your neighbor
(3) Take it inside and open it
(4) Close the door and ignore it for as long as possible
@The Fool You ask the deliveryman about the package. He repeats the same information that is printed on the label and everything matches with your address and the sender's address. Due to the federal law, he doesn't know what is inside the package but he does mention that it wasn't secure inside the box due to the noise it made on the way over here.

He's still holding the clipboard and pen towards you while he starts to squirm a bit.

(1) Sign for the package
(2) Ask him why he's fidgeting
(3) Close the door
(1) ?
@Delta-M You state that he has the wrong address very clearly, trying your best to intimidate him so that he won't try to push the package onto you. Unfortunately, he asks for directions and you notice that he is reading your exact address from the package's label.

(1) Point him to your neighbor
(2) Sign for the package
(3) Tell him to suck it up and close the door
Oh, we each get our own. 2 then.
@Alekos You sign for the package very cautiously, wondering if this truly is the package that you were waiting for. The deliveryman thanks you for your time and picks it up to hand it to you before leaving.

After closing the door and settling down, you decided that it would be best to examine the package closer. The corners of the box were smashed, but most of it has remained intact. Both addresses on the label are correct and whatever is inside must be of normal size considering the noise it makes when you slightly shake it.

(1) Open it
(2) Put it aside for another day
@Delta-M (This will be the same prompt as Alekos)

1 for me
I cannot wait to see the outcome of everyone's adventures. (2) for me
@Alekos You open the box to reveal the taxidermied body of a nightingale perched onto an oak tree branch. Along with this odd item, you find a piece of paper with a message made from magazine clippings.

Dear new player,

In an effort to understand the limits of human beings, you have been selected to participate in a special event we have orchestrated for you. Make sure to get plenty of rest and do not lose the object we have sent you. It is quite essential for your adventure.

Sending our support to you,

@The Fool You ask him why he was fidgeting when he was as firm as a statue a moment ago. He points to his watch and explains that he won't receive his vacation time to see his family from out of state if he's late for delivering the other packages he has for today. This time, he asks politely for you to sign the package as he quickly glances to his watch.

(1) Sign for the package
(2) Apologize and sign
(3) Close the door
(1)
Btw, these are all the same adventure, just different endings
Nonetheless,still interesting Spade
@Alekos You place the bird figure back into the box and try to use the rest of your time to relax before getting ready to call it a night.

[Day 2]

When you finally woke up, you immediately noticed that you weren't in your room. You were lying on the cold, hardwood floor of a library with piles of books carelessly thrown about. The only thing that wasn't covered in dust was the nightingale statue on a table near you. It seems that whoever had moved you was part of the game that you had signed up for.

What do you do now, dear player?

(1) Grab the statue and look for a door
(2) Search the room
(3) Look for a window to break and climb out of

@pancake Days go by as you continue to ignore the package by your door. One day you noticed that someone had placed another package on top of it, but you remained vigilant and continued to ignore it.

[Day 40]

There are five packages at your door, making a modest tower of boxes.

Will you continue to ignore them?

(1) Yes
(2) No
Button mash (1) for the entire duration of the game
(1)
@Delta-M You look around the room and notice some peculiar markings on some of the shelves. Each one is marked with a number in the form of tally marks. The books are all surprisingly empty, except for a purple one that is missing all of its pages. Unfortunately, there are no windows in the room and there are cameras that seem to never take their eyes off of you. There is a door towards the right of the room, but it is locked with an odd rectangle shaped mechanism. You also notice the dried blood stains on it.

(1) Grab a book with pages
(2) Grab the purple book without any pages
(3) Go back and get the statue before grabbing a book with pages
(4)Go back and get the statue before grabbing the purple book without any pages
Also, are you coming up with this Spade? If so,this is truly remarkable.
@pancake You continued to ignore them and continued to live your life.

It appears we have misjudged you. You were not a player after all. Please continue your daily life, NPC.

With all due respect and a hint of disappointment,

@Mona

I believe you must wait for the story to pan out to find out your ending, dear.
Yes I am. It might take a while for the response, but thanks Alekos!
Holy shit Spade that's insane! Usually takes me a really long time to get the creative juices flowing
@Alekos There is a door towards the right of the room, but it is locked with an odd rectangle shaped mechanism. You also notice the dried blood stains on it. There is no handle on it and the camera in the left corner has its eye focused on you. It appears you can press something against the mechanism, but you don't know if you will get it back.

(1) Give the statue to the door
(2) Go back and search the piles of books
(3) Throw a book at the camera
@The Fool It usually comes to me in short outbursts, but if I don't write it down I lose it forever.

@Delta-M You make your way back to grab both of those items before coming face-to-face with the strange door again. Upon further inspection, you see that there is no handle on it and the camera in the left corner has its eye focused on you. It appears you can press something against the mechanism, but you don't know if you will get it back.

(1) Give it the statue
(2) Give it the purple book
@Spade-Spirit I feel ya, almost all the good stuff comes when you have nothing to put them down on. I choose (1)
@The Fool Creativity is a cruel and sweet mistress/master.

You place the bird figure back into the box and try to use the rest of your time to relax before getting ready to call it a night.

@Spade-Spirit true that my friend. (1)
@Delta-M You press the purple book into the door and watch as the plate moves when you push it farther into the space. Just when the edge of the space lined up with the top of your pinky, a blade slides down and chops off your other fingers to match its length.

[DAMAGE TAKEN-STATUS:BLEEDING]

Fortunately for you, the door unlocked and you now see a long hallway with two doors on both sides and another door at the end of the hall. What will you do now?

(1) Wrap your fingers with torn pages from the books in an attempt to slow down the blood loss before going through the door on the right

(2) Wrap your fingers with torn pages from the books in an attempt to slow down the blood loss before going through the door on the left

(3) Wrap your fingers with torn pages from the books in an attempt to slow down the blood loss before going through the door in front of you

(4) Go through the door on the left

(5) Go through the door on the right

(6) Go through the door in front of you
@Alekos You forced the statue into the space and watched as it was torn apart by the blades that were in the space of the door.

[Nightingale Key destroyed]

The door swings open to reveal another room that is only illuminated by candles on the ground. There is an old armchair in the middle of the room with a patched up teddy bear sitting on it. The bear has mismatched button eyes and a crown on its head. There are covered up paintings behind the chair. What do you do?

(1) Look at the paintings
(2) Look at the teddy bear
(3) Look for a way out

(1) Give the statue to the door
(2) Go back and search the piles of books
(3) Throw a book at the camera
(3) Oh no, I've essentially lost a hand.
(1) Well rip the key
@Delta-M Although they aren't slowing down the blood loss as much as you would've liked, it's better than nothing. Luckily, the door in front of you is unlocked and you open it to reveal a dining room with another figure rummaging through the cabinet. It looks another human being, a grown man with a buzz cut, but his posture is a bit strange with his lower half closer to the cabinet.

(1) Quietly look around the room
(2) Approach the man
(3) Look for a makeshift weapon and approach the man
(4) Look for a makeshift weapon and sneak up on the man, intending to attack him

(Player status: Slowly Bleeding)
(3)
@Alekos You walk closer to the paintings to see that they are family portraits of three different families of varying sizes. The paint itself has been dried a long time ago and the easels that they sit upon are covered in a thin layer of dust. The only thing in common with the families is that there is a teddy bear with a crown on its head in the background. By looking closer, you see that its stuffing is falling out of its stomach in the picture. What do you do?

(1) Look for a way out
(2) Grab the bear and look for a way out
(3) Find something to tear the bear's stomach open
@The Fool Most of the books appear to be blank except for one purple book that is missing its pages and a green book with a message written inside.

IT HUNGERS
IT MUST FEED

(1) Grab the purple book without pages
(2) Grab the green book
(3) Grab any other book
(4) Head back to the door
@MonoDj You state that he has the wrong address very clearly, trying your best to intimidate him so that he won't try to push the package onto you. Unfortunately, he asks for directions and you notice that he is reading your exact address from the package's label.

(1) Point him to your neighbor
(2) Sign for the package
(3) Tell him to suck it up and close the door
(3) His stomach seems highly suspicious. Btw I seriously love this story scenario.
(3)
@Delta-M You grabbed a chair leg that was huddled near the wall of the room and walk towards the man. When you were close enough to talk and to keep your distance, you can clearly see that the man is no longer alive. Protruding from a cavity in his ribcage is a strange, phallic-shaped monster with talons clawing at the cabinet. Its mouth occasionally opens at a 90 degree angle to reveal its many rows of sharp teeth and a piece of flesh that is too big for its throat. It looks like it doesn't have any eyes.

(1) Bash it
(2) Wait for it to open its mouth and shove the chair leg down it
(3) Move away from it and look for an exit
@Alekos Thanks! I'll try to make it even more interesting

You found a rusted nail on the ground and tear at the bear's stomach. Along with the stuffing, you find an earlobe with an earring still attached and what looks like the key to a music box. After fishing them out from the bear's stomach, you could faintly hear the sound of children crying behind you. You turned to see if anyone was there, but there was no one. What do you do now?

(1) Take the earring and look for an exit
(2) Take the music box key and look for an exit
(3) Take both of them and look for an exit
(3) Don't like the sound of crying children x.x
@MonoDj You slam the door after stating that the world isn't fair and he should just do his job to the deliveryman and quickly move away from it. You can hear him shuffle his feet before walking away from your door.

@The Fool You grab the green book and head back to the door. What will you give the door?

(1) The green book
(2) The bird statue
(3) Your left hand
(4) Your right hand
(5) Your left foot
(6) Your right foot
(1) Not trynna lose a limb today
@Alekos With the earring and the music box key in your possession, you scramble to find a way out. There were no other doors and the windows were too high for you to climb out of, but you were lucky enough to find a hatch in the floor. Without a second thought, you jump down and found a small dark tunnel to crawl through. After moving forward for a bit, you hear small footsteps and crying above you before it disappears again. Eventually you come across a fork in your path. Where will you go?

(1) Left
(2) Right
(2)
@The Fool You place the green book against the door and push it, letting the blade slice the pages and a bit of the cover. The door opens with a soft click and you push it to reveal a hallway that one would see in a hospital. The white floors and walls are stainless and there is an empty gurney pushed in front of a door on the left. The hallway leads to a counter with a blue light shining behind it. What do you do?

(1) Move the gurney and go through the door on the left
(2) Investigate the blue light behind the counter
(1) Oh god not this situation. When there is two paths, one always leads to ruin.
(1) Oh god not this situation. When there is two paths, one always leads to ruin.
@MonoDj You carefully peel the label off of the box and place it at your neighbor's door the next day. Whatever was inside this box, you wanted no part of it.

[Later that day]

The police broke down your door, pointing their guns at you and screaming for you to get on the ground. You could see the terrified look of your neighbor as they pointed you out; their words rang out loud and clear despite the sound of walkie-talkies.

It's them! They're the one that handed me that box with her head in it!

As you're dragged to the police car, you can see your other neighbors crowding around the barricades and whispering. The last thing that you saw was the face of the deliveryman smiling gleefully at you.

[Game Over]
Bad Ending 1-Scapegoat
@Delta-M You waited with bated breath for it to open its mouth again before shoving the chair leg into it. The monster shrieks and it launches itself out of the corpse. Unfortunately, the chair leg hits the ceiling, shoving it farther down the monster's throat. You watch it frantically claw at it before the body stops moving.

[Defeated Baby Crawlik]

What will you do now?

(1) Search the corpse
(2) Examine the dead Baby Crawlik
(3) Look around the room
@The Fool You walk behind the counter to find a computer with a plain blue desktop and a couple of files on the screen. After a quick scan of them, you see that they describe three patients simply known as Jane or John Doe. Someone has noted that each of them are still in the area, but their status is unknown. Upon further inspection of the photos, you see that they are also carrying taxidermied animals like you are.

Suddenly, you hear footsteps coming from the right.

(1) Find a makeshift weapon and wait
(2) Find a makeshift weapon and get ready to attack
(3) Hide
(4) Run
@Delta-M You find a lockpick in the corpse's pocket and a roll of medical bandages, which you gladly replace the blood-stained pages to wrap your wound in. Towards your right, you can see a kitchen along with another door leading outside.

(1) Go outside
(2) Look in the kitchen
(3) Examine the dead Baby Crawlik
